This really was a relaxed informative tour. We managed to see a family of whales and turtles and experience snoring beside the fish. The captain was brilliant and looked after us all very well. We definitely enjoyed the relaxed experience of being on a smaller boat and felt this was excellent value - would highly recommend
This trip is so tranquil and relaxing. From the moment of departure to the swim in the Atlantic Ocean. Our Captain, Guy, was amazing full of wisdom about the wonderful wildlife we observed. Perfect trip with children because of the small group size.
Lovely captain, great experience. We missed the tour as we were in the incorrect location, and they were kind enough to reschedule it for us.
Absolutely breathtaking experience! We were lucky enough to see lots more of dolphins, whales, and even sea turtles during the trip. The captain was so lovely, welcoming, and incredibly informative throughout. We even had the whole boat to ourselves which made it feel extra special. I honestly can’t recommend this experience enough — truly unforgettable!
Had a great trip with Guy who took us to the spots to see whales - saw a fin whale and a pod of pilot whales which was amazing. Really enjoyed the trip.
Michelle and Juan were the perfect hosts, an absolutely amazing afternoon. Would highly recommend this experience.A perfect day with amazing people!
Great trip. Whales were delivered. Maxi was a vibe. Bring cash for a tip as you will want to leave one, we didn't have cash 😂
We had a great time with captain Raúl! The whole experience was great, we were a small group and that was great, different from some really full boats we saw leaving from the same port. We saw some pilot whales, some dauphins and even a sea turtle !! The captain seamed to really care about the animals and knew a lot about them. Definitely recommend.
We had such a wonderful experience on this boat trip in Tenerife. From the very beginning, everything was made easy and comfortable. We were picked up in a spotless, brand-new car by a very friendly driver (unfortunately I can’t remember his name). He went out of his way to help us get in and out of the car, which was such a relief as we were traveling with a toddler and an adult with mobility issues. Once onboard, Captain Maxi made the whole trip unforgettable. He regularly offered us drinks, shared his impressive knowledge of the local wildlife, and was an excellent guide throughout. His enthusiasm and care really stood out, and he created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. Highly recommend to anyone visiting!
Nice tour with a lot of respect for the animals thanks to the lovely captain named Guy. He knows a lot about the animals in the area and where to find them. Also checks in on the crew often in case of sea sickness. Great trip!
It was a amazing trip with my Family in the deep blue we saw pilotwhales and turtles Thank you Captain Guy!!!👍💪🤩!!!!!!!!
Lovely boat, 10 of us so not super crazy like the big cats. Our guide was also environmentally aware and knowledgeable saw a lot of pilot whales 🐋
Capt Guy was a truly lovely man and very knowledgeable about the sea and animals within. Very comfy boat, plenty of time to search for whales and dolphins with a stop for swimming and snorkeling. Would highly recommend going with Capt Guy!
My family loved this experience! Captain Guy was a very knowledgeable naturalist and was able to tell us many fascinating tings able the ocean waters and its inhabitants. Had an amazing encounter with pilot whales which made the whole trip for us very worth it! We enjoyed the company of the couple who shared the experience with us! Top it off with a picnic lunch, cava and snorkeling and you could not ask for a better day!!
We travelled with Captain Guy who was absolutely fantastic, he is knowledgeable about the ocean and the animals living in it, it made the tour so fun. I would highly recommend going with Guy as he is such a fun Captain, will defo be booking again. Thank you for having us!
What an experience from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Our taxi driver who picked us up was very helpful and made us feel very relaxed. Guy the Captain, what a fantastic human being. Very passionate about his job and purpose. Very very knowledgable about the wildlife and sea conditions! He was our waiter too serving us chilled Prosecco and Strawberries and beautiful freshly made sandwiches. We saw a very large pod of Pilot whales with babies and sea Turtles. There was plenty of room on board as there were only 4 of us! A truly wonderful afternoon worth every penny. Would definitely recommend this trip.
Our guide Guy was very entertaining and attentive. We saw pilot whales and a sea turtle and were given interesting information about the animals. Despite the light rain and the daunting crowds in Adeje, we had a great tour in a small group, thanks Guy :)
Great trip. We saw 6 dolphins but no whales. Raoul an Juan are great guys. We spend 3 fantastic hours on the motorboat. Pick up and bring back service at hotel. Good food on board, nice boat.
Amazing experience Guy was really knowledgable, saw dolphins even came to the boat, sandwich was tasty, unlimited drinks, lovely glass of champagne with strawberries, got a tour of the island, son who is 10 enjoyed it, would highly recommend.
Great day out with the skipper Raul. We were lucky enough to see Dolphins. There were cheaper excursions available but we chose this company due to the ease of them picking us up and dropping us off at our hotel. We are in the Hard Rock which is out of the way. With another company we would have had to caught a taxi / bus into Las Americas Worth the extra money as we had as many drinks as we wanted including Cava. Plus a light lunch. Picked up and dropped off to our hotel. Highly recommend. Raul was very knowledgeable and it was from his expertise that we were positioned in an area to see the dolphins
We had a really great experience! Our captain, Guy, was awesome. You can really tell he cared a lot about what's going on and that everyone are feeling good. We learned a lot about marine life. In case you arr considering this trip, I'd say go for it, you won't be disappointed
No sailing occurred. While we had fun and did see a pod of 3 pilot whales (no dolphins), we booked this sailing excursion because it was on a sailboat. This boat didn’t even have a mainsail. We motored the whole time. When another passenger asked if we would sail, we were informed the sail was broken, and then that there wasn’t enough wind. There were other sailboats under sail around us. Honestly, there were too many people on the boat to sail anyway due to the small size of the boat, and the Captain was singlehanded. We also were not given any safety brief and were not told where the life jackets were. I will give the captain my respect for standing up to a passenger who was fairly mad that she was only allowed to smoke one time. She claimed the “booking lady” told her she would be allowed to smoke, the Captain politely but firmly informed her he was the Captain, it was up to him, and she could not smoke again. If you are vegetarian, alert the tour operator so you will have a sandwich option.
Lovely sailing boat, beautiful views of the coastline, and we were lucky to see a family of pilot whales! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and with huge respect for wildlife. Pick the evening cruise if you want a sunset :-)
We spent a lovely afternoon on the boat. Particularly nice was there were only 8 passengers on board. We saw lots of pilot whales and had a quick swim although the sea was a tad cold and choppy! Our captain was great, and the snacks and drinks were a nice touch. Only slight concern was the lack of any safety information - no life jackets offered or advice on what to do if an incident occurred. Would definitely recommend this excursion.
Really nice and relaxing trip on a sail boat. We didn’t sail at all but motored out and saw some pilot whales. The whales got incredibly close and we enjoyed watching them. A small sandwich and variety of drinks was provided. We had the opportunity to get into the water but felt it was a little too chilly for us. The boat comfortably fit the 6 adults and 2 children in our group. It was a beautiful day on the water.
Unfortunately it was not a very good experience. It was promised a lot and at the end we were just able to see whales and jump in the ocean for literally 5min because the driver was in a rush. The food was very limited also. No snorkling equipment was given. It was really sad because was my birthday and I was hoping to have a really nice and amazing experience with my friends which was not successful. I really do not recommend.
Our Captain was fantastic and wanted everyone to enjoy themselves. He was hospitable and very knowledgeable. He was beyond expectations in the service we received!
The main goal to see whales was achieved, but we would have hoped our captain would interact more and sponteniously share his knowledge. We were also a little bit disappointed by the "snacks" which was one sandwich. We also hoped to snorkel, but the swim stop was too far away of the coastline to see anything.
The most wonderful trip seeing Pilot whales in their natural habitat. Capt Guy was a joy to listen to, his marine knowledge was fascinating. He couldn’t have been a better skipper. Lovely fresh fruit and sandwiches, beers, cava and soft drinks were unlimited. This was our 4th time with this company and I highly recommend it.
We saw several sets of whales, the food/drink was fun. The guide was great, Guy has a great personality and really wants to share his knowledge of the ocean and marine life.
What a fabulous trip we had. Danny was our captain, he looked after us so well. The snacks and sandwich were first class. Music was chill and the big thrill was a close by pod of dolphins. As Danny sailed expertly into harbour, we all applauded his seamanship Highly recommend this trip
Enjoyed the trip overall, but think for the money paid it wasn’t as described as listed. When we got onboard and out to sea we were quickly informed we were unlikely to see dolphins which is understandable wildlife isn’t predictable but I wouldn’t list it as a main selling point. We were given our champagne which was a nice touch. We saw a few pilot whales for around 15 mins which was great and given it was a 3hr trip, you’d expect to see more especially as this was in was within the first 45mins. We were lucky enough to come across a sea turtle floating by. The rest of the journey felt like we were just going across the coast of Tenerife. There was a small opportunity to swim, but right next to Los Cristianos beach which you could do on any given day. One passenger got off to swim and was told not point taking a snorkel as there isn’t anything to see. We then spent around 30mins sailing around near the port to kill time. Wouldn’t recommend anyone who suffers with sea sickness, it wasn’t obviously choppy out to sea and we felt the effects of any bigger waves we came across strongly and wasn’t enough space for us to get up onto the front of the boat to feel it less. Maxi provided some good insight to wildlife, but felt like he spent a lot of time on his phone. Underwhelming for the price given it is one of the more expensive trips of this kind in Tenerife.
Captain Guy was excellent, very personable made you feel very welcome. Impressive that he spoke five different languages and made sure he included everyone in the conversations. We did see Pilot Whales, and spent time viewing which was nice. My only negative was they were sparse with the food only had small size baguette. Drinks not champagne as advertised. All in all was a nice trip.
Went on morning trip with husband and another group of people, Alex was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, he tried his best to keep everyone happy and informed. I felt seasick after a while (my issue, nothing to do with trip or conditions) and he checked on me and give me some tips to try and relieve the feeling. We managed to see a few pilot Whales, unfortunately the dolphins and turtles appeared to be in hiding. My husband assures me the sandwiches etc were good, I didn't risk them but to be fair Alex gave me some crisps and drinks when we left as I was now feeling up to managing some liquids. Thoroughly recommend this trip especially if you want a more personal approach
The excursion ended 20 minutes early. We were only told that we had 10 min to swim and no snorkel gear was offered. However, we did get to see pilot whales. The captain only explained about 5 min worth of facts. So if you’re only looking for someone to take you out to the ocean, this is the tour for you.
Overall, average to even below average experience. When they say luxury boat, take that with a grain of salt. While we did see some pilot whales, our boat captain only gave us a 3 minute explanation of the whales and their habits. I mention it was 3 minutes to give some color to the fact that nothing else was said on the trip up until we saw the whales. We were given about 1-2 glasses of below average champagne (slightly warm) upon entering the boat. After seeing the whales, the captain told us we would be going to the coast to eat some food, drink and swim. We were given 10 minutes to swim, why the arbitrary number of 10 given that we were stopped, that I could not tell you. The drinks offered were some basic sodas and beer (think Milwaukee’s best of America or whatever your country’s equivalent of bud light). Sandwiches were…well they were less than to be desired. More bread than anything else, and if I had the option and saw it in a store, I would definitely pass. The bathroom was pretty bad, I get it’s a small boat, but an advertisement is an advertisement. My wife got sick because of the bathroom, and I am confident in that. Honestly, there’s not much else to say because nothing else happened. There was music, but it was low to the point that you could hardly hear it. The captain didn’t provide really any enthusiasm. If you’re looking for a great experience, maybe look elsewhere. You’ve been given warning.
Where to begin! This was the absolute worst experience of any boat ride we as a family have experienced. Firstly,we are a family of 5 and made a point that we didn't want a boat that was packed. We are essentially 4 adults and 11 year old. Especially if we were to be on board for 3 hours. We had communicated via WhatsApp, it was confirmed no more than 9 people on board. With Cava on arrival superior snacks and a ride that would be perfect. Nothing could be further than the truth. Our guide Guy, was so unfriendly and sarcastic, then would laugh it off with " I am only joking". So when we arrived the, there were already 5 people on board, so 11 of us on board!....the boat was tiny. The seating on either side no bigger than a park bench. So very little room to move about. Guy was instantly rude when we asked about life jackets and started saying sarcastically if we had any other questions regarding the boat. Because he has been doing it for so many years... he knew what he was doing etc. But he wasn't nice about it, which made us feel really uncomfortable. So we set off, no welcome drinks in sight. He started lecturing about the planet and humans being the worst things around. Then did give some info about the wildlife. But then started about his daughter, her swimming lessons, achievement. Their morning routines.....I just wanted to enjoy the scenery and relax. He spoke non stop! When he wasn't speaking he was on the phone. When we stopped for a swim, my son wanted to ask about swimming mask. We had to tap him on the arm to ask, as he was on the phone. He then just pointed at the basket and said " told you earlier where the things were, were you not listening..... only joking" Then the "superior drinks" and snacks/ lunch arrived. Which consisted of half a baguette and the smallest bowl of strawberries I have ever seen for 10 people. Each strawberry quartered onto toothpicks! Then the drinks, coke, and sprite. One lady asked for a beer, he came out and gave her a coke. She grabbed a beer herself as we were leaving. The others on board said " perhaps we could have a guide if he got off the phone" he did then get a packet of crisps, which I thought was for us. But he then started crushing them and feeding the fish. We only used them as other guests at our hotel said they had a great time. But they had 4 people on their boat, Cava and a nice guide. Our ride was horrendous! I contacted the owner via WhatsApp to explain that we were misled. Ask the things he promised were not included. He didn't have the decency to reply or apologise, even acknowledge what happened. The other passengers also felt the same and spoke about it when we disembarked. DO NOT USE this company. To think they asked us to pay in cash, was also very odd!!!!! I only give them 1 star, as we managed to see a couple of pilot whales.
Great day and I would highly recommend. We had pilot whales swim along side the boat and saw a mother and baby sea turtle. It was perfect.
Amazing. We saw pilot whales, dolphins and even a shark. The captain Maxi was great with us. We were only 7 on the boat which honestly is perfect especially compared to the bigger overcrowded boats you can see in the harbor. The free food and drinks inc. cava is a plus !
30.06.2024: Fantastic experience and day out. Excellent service and very knowledgeable tour guide/boat captain (Guy). I would thoroughly recommend this compared to the alternative and overcrowded catamaran boat tours.
This boat ride completely exceeded my expectations! We were not expecting to see whales as is it not in season, but our captain luckily managed to find some for us anyway. We saw a family of whales, and it was amazing. Our captain Dani, was very attentive and we had a great time with him. We certainly felt very safe! I would definitely book this again.
Capt Guy was very chatty and informative. You can tell he's clearly passionate about wildlife and the animals. We requested GF food, but this wasn't provided. We did see whales and dolphins, but no turtles. The swimming experience was amazing though. We were a little bit disappointed with the overall experience compared to the cost. We paid for a premium experience, and it didn't "feel" premium.
Fantastic captain (Guy), made everyone feel welcome and explained the trip well. Was very respectful of the animals, not getting too close, turned the boat off to allow us to sit and watch in a peaceful setting. Good spot for swimming included as well as ample refreshments provided!
Lovely quiet boat tour not rushed , we did miss the opportunity to swim but other than that really good and even saw a family of whales
It was nice :) despite strong wind, we had a great time. The dolphins were swimming quite close to our boat.
Captain Guy was a great host and guided us to see whales and dolphins with time for snorkeling and swimming
Guy was a great guide. He was fun, caring and straighforward! He baanced care for his guests with a ot of reevant knowedge.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate. We saw pilot whales and even some sharks!! The sandwiches were nice but not loads of snacks provided, lots of drinks available though!
Amazing trip with a knowledgeable as fun captain, highly recommend! We were a group of 4 girls and there were other 4 people on board and despite a windy and cloudy weather, we got to see loads of wales and dolphins! Captain Maximilian was very accommodating and looked after us even after one of our girls felt seasick and he was considerate of the animals and did not swim too close.
