Good introduction to Lanzarote but stops are too brief. Nice guide and driver. Camel ride was a highlight.

Itinerary
After a transfer of about 20 minutes from your hotels, we will meet the rest of the group at the Monument to the Peasant. Located in the geographical centre of Lanzarote in the municipality of San Bartolomé, the House-Museum of the Peasant is the work with which César Manrique recognises the efforts of the peasants of Lanzarote. From the bus we will see the Monument to Fertility, also known as the Monument to the Peasant. It is a construction of more than 15 metres, created by César Manrique together with the master Jesús Soto, from old water tanks from ships, iron and concrete objects assembled together, a magnificent reflection of avant-garde art, which has become one of the iconographic symbols of the island.
We leave the Monument behind us and in about 30 minutes we will arrive at La Geria, a peculiar area of the island of Lanzarote where vineyards abound. With a volcanic landscape and arid land, the quality of its wines is surprising. It is unusual to find vineyards in such a terrain. We will stop at a winery to taste a shot of this wine.
After half an hour's walk, you can take a 20-minute ride on the back of this beautiful animal. If you don't wish to do so, you can visit a small museum about the history of camels on the island of Lanzarote.
After a beautiful 20 minute drive from our last stop, we arrive at the Fire Mountains, the unusual result of the eruptions in the south of Lanzarote in the 18th and 19th centuries. A spectacle of red craters, lava flows and lunar landscapes that reflect the burning of the earth and its uncontrollable force. Its 200 kilometres of extension form part of the Timanfaya National Park, where one of the largest volcanic activities in the world can be seen, both for the immense quantity of materials thrown up by the fire, and for its spectacular duration: six years between 1730 and 1736 when the bowels of the island did not stop roaring.
From the Timanfaya in 20 minutes we reach this green lake located in the crater of a volcano that has become one of the main tourist attractions of Lanzarote.

It's a good experience. The coffee and chocolate mix (mocha) taste great. learned a lot of geography.
Wow! What a surreal experience this island is. You have to put yourself in a different mindset to appreciate the beauty of this volcanic wonder. Our guide was so cute and enthusiastic that she made us appreciate the landscape and tour. If you’re going to Lanzarote off a cruise ship, this is a great way to see it. I appreciate it experience more after I left and thought about how crazy it is that there are 300 volcanoes on the small island. It’s not a place I would return, but I’m glad I saw it one time in my life.
Great excursion from port. All of their directions were very clear to meet bus. Easy walk from port. If you want to ride a camel, this is the tour to take. It was a blast and lasted 25 minutes. Animals were clean. Learning about the 300 volcanoes was really informative.
Really enjoyable, great pace, no hard sell, fab knowledgeable guide and spectacular landscapes...really recommend this if you stop off on a cruise. A great way to see a lot of the sights. Picked up on a great coach from just outside the port.
Fantastic tour! My only comment is that you can skip the last stop that was a photo op near the port. It was some kind of sculpture. We didn't get out of the bus. Seeing the volcanoes up close was an amazing experience!
Very nice tour and great experience , great bus driver , great tour guide . We saw many interesting points on island
Very event filled tour. Well organized. Many stops Demonstrations of the power of a volcano were exciting.
Great way to see some highlights while in port on a cruise. Meeting point was a short walk from ship. Sarah, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. Driver navigated some tricky driving with skill.
This was a 5 hour tour picking up at the cruise terminal. The guide was great with commentary in Spanish, English and German. The tour was amazing and at times exhilarating. Top deck views from the bus were excellent and at times heart in mouth stuff as we travelled along the edge of the road. A great way to see the volcano areas of Lanzarote
We booked the 5hr Lanzarote tour including the Timanfaya park for 6 of us, of varied mobility as an alternative to the offerings from Princess. Communications with the LanzaroteGuide team were very clear and quick and pick up was just a few minutes walk from the cruise ship (just the other side of the police security zone). The guide was very informative and engaging, giving us ample time at each stop without us feeling rushed, nor that we were kicking our heels waiting. The drive through the volcano park was the highlight. We got back to the cruise ship a few minutes ahead of schedule. Would strongly recommend and use again. Excellent value especially if you compare with the Cruise ship organised tours which cost significantly more.
It was a very different place to visit because of it being a volcanic island. The way they grow grapes w very little water. The driver was amazing how he maneuvered around the very small volcano park roads. We did have an issue with the air system on the bus, but half way we switched busses. Also first bus literally had no leg room at all, our knees touched the back of the person in front of us. Second bus we had so much more room. Over all compared to what the ship would charge for this 4 hr tour it was a great value for the money.
May day was ruined. Tour never showed. I waited at meeting point for almost an hour. Called 4x, text 2x.. nothing. Enlisted assistance of policia.. nothing. I have requested a refund. Guide emailed me and said basically my fault but I don't know how because I followed instructions to the letter, even double checked with police. I would never book with them again. I do not recommend risking your precious vacation time with these people. So very dissappointing I may never have the opportunity go there again. Horrible.
Very good tour, they came on time to pick up us to the hotel, the day was smooth, guides were nice and friendly, we love it
Unfortunately, the first stop with the "wine tasting" is a pure and authentic sales event that you don't need at all. The second stop with the camel tour is a matter of taste. Anyone who does not want to do this (for whatever reason) is bored for half an hour. The national park is really impressive and more than worthwhile. The last stop at the "green grotto" and at the cliff is very nice, but too short if you want to explore the black beach a bit more. A slightly longer hold would be useful here and this would also be possible if you cancel the first station without replacement. Would make the trip significantly better again.
Excellent tour, more complete than those offered by cruise lines, with a competent and dynamic guide
- very good guide (Vanessa) - Timanfaya National Park very interesting - the cliffs next to the Green Lagoon were much more impressive
A great tour, we have seen so much! But: the tour guide could not speak German so well, but super English. The explanations would have been better in English. The double-decker bus was full, 80 guests. It made it a little stressful. Tip: for the ride in the Timanfaya Mountains, you should not be afraid of heights and have a robust stomach, but it was really unique.
We had a wonderful trip with Vanessa. We have seen a lot and always got great information about the island. In short: the excursion with Lanzerote guides is really highly recommended!!!
It was a wonderfully organized trip with great sights and competent support! Despite problems with the air conditioning of the double-decker bus, a quick and uncomplicated solution was found (provision of two replacement buses at the next stop)! Very well managed.
In reality it is not 1 but 0. The morning is wasted in shops and restaurants (which you are forced to go to because there are no alternatives) while the actual tour done in the afternoon is a race against time. Without a moment to really enjoy the visit and the landscape, with the constant pressure of having to get back on the bus. A tourist catcher designed to perfection.
Great trip. Punctual, friendly, great communication in advance. Absolutely to suggest. Super organized.
Positive: good, experienced bus driver, picked up on time from AidaCosma, good information in the park from CD at a good volume Negative: bus full of around 100 people, double-decker, very cramped for people 180cm tall! The tour guide tried very hard and talked constantly, which was extremely exhausting and unbearable if you were sitting directly at the loudspeaker. You had to force your ears to cover your ears. RELAXATION and enjoyment not possible! Unfortunately, when we asked for help, this was not done. Last stop at the farm, pointless and a waste of time, but good for a quick break from the blaring loudspeaker. No moving allowed, so the day was rather exhausting and not relaxing or pleasantly relaxed. The price is cheap compared to the prices on the ship. If you are small and petite and are not sitting at the loudspeaker, you might rate it differently. Price/performance OK, even though there is constant sound.
