Itinerary
The Cave of Greens is a unique formation of landscape and volcanological features of extraordinary value. Located in the north of the island, and integrated into the vast volcanic landscape of the Malpaís de la Corona, it is one of the wonders that hide the bowels of Lanzarote, endowed with a mysterious and special character. (ENTRY INCLUDED DEPENDING ON OPTION ONLY)
Los Jameos del Agua is the first Art, Culture and Tourism Centre created by César Manrique, a natural space created inside a volcanic tunnel. Inaugurated in 1968, the artist, painter and sculptor transformed the space into a unique work that represents the maximum expression of his ideology: artistic creation in harmony with the environment and nature.
Situated 500 metres from the cliff, you can enjoy spectacular views of La Graciosa.
Haría is located in the enchanting "valley of a thousand palm trees", one of the best palm groves of the Canary Islands. As the road enters the mountains, this oasis appears in the middle of the island's pure geology: green land and crops dotted with the white of the island's popular architecture.
Located in the geographical centre of Lanzarote in the municipality of San Bartolomé, the Casa-Museo del Campesino is the work with which César Manrique recognises the efforts of the farmers of Lanzarote. From the bus we will see the Monumento a la Fecundidad, also known as the Monumento al Campesino. It is a construction of more than 15 metres, created by César Manrique together with the master Jesús Soto, from old water tanks from ships, iron and concrete objects assembled together, a magnificent reflection of avant-garde art, which has become one of the iconographic symbols of the island.
La Geria is a peculiar area of the island of Lanzarote with an abundance of vineyards. With a volcanic landscape and arid land, the quality of its wines is surprising. It is unusual to find vineyards in such a terrain. We will stop at a winery for a small wine tasting.
At the camel track, you can take a 20-minute ride on the back of this beautiful animal. For those who do not wish to visit a small museum about the history of the camels on the island of Lanzarote.
The Fire Mountains are the unusual result of the eruptions in the south of Lanzarote in the 18th and 19th centuries. A spectacle of red craters, lava flows and lunar landscapes that reflect the burning of the earth and its uncontrollable force. Its 200 kilometres of extension form part of the Timanfaya National Park, where one of the largest volcanic activities in the world can be seen, both for the immense quantity of materials thrown up by the fire, and for its spectacular duration: six years between 1730 and 1736 when the bowels of the island did not stop roaring.
This green lake located in the crater of a volcano has become one of Lanzarote's main tourist attractions.

Our initial bus picked us up, transported us to the coach pick up in Arrecife, we then picked up a few more groups. Took around 1.5 hours to get the tour going, we were one of the 1st pick ups, luck of the draw on that one. The tour guide was very nice and the coach driver drove the coach well. The coach was nice, clean and air conditioned. You can drink on the coach but can’t eat. Also no toilets on the coach. The trip started at the caves, that was amazing. Well worth going just for that. Would’ve liked to spend longer there, but a lot of tours going at the same time, so we were on a fixed rotating schedule. We will probably come back and see if we could get a smaller tour of just that experience, next time we visit the island. The next stop was going to see the endangered crabs, nice enough location. But not a lot going on apart from a couple of coffee shops and that’s about it really. There was a museum, but wasn’t part of our tour, so maybe more going on that we were unaware of here. Next stop was to see the small island off of Lanzarote, where 800 people reside. You overlook it from the cliffs. Nice picture stop and also next time we visit we will get a boat across to explore that. Glad we learned about that. After that, we went to the buffet. It was ok at best, we aren’t really fans of buffets. So I would’ve brought a packed lunch if I’d known it was an all inclusive style buffet in honesty. We just bought some ice creams and ate the snacks we had with us. We were hoping for food cooked over the volcanoes of something like that, we would have preferred something different to what most hotels offer. Missed opportunity I feel. After lunch, you get the opportunity to ride a camel. Not obligatory at all. There is a coffee shop there if you don’t fancy that. Next stop, the volcanoes. That was interesting. We enjoyed that. Would have loved to have lunch here instead as previously mentioned. There isn’t time to have lunch either, unless you miss the tour I guess. Which would be unwise as it’s interesting. After that was a vineyard, again would’ve preferred to learn about winemaking from the vineyard. A missed opportunity again here. The final stop was a short stop to the green lagoon. The views were amazing and we went at sunset, which was nice. Then home. We loved learning more about Lanzarote. I would recommend using this tour for going to see lots of different things and then come back and do more isolated tours such as a winery tour, longer cave tour and visiting the small island. It’s a long day, we were tired by the end of it. Thank you to the tour guide, much appreciated.
Very well organised. Very informative. Very knowledgeable guide. A long day but worth it. Learned so much about the island. Really enjoyed everything about the tour.
Good trip. Covered a lot of the island in a day. Host was informative. Very crowded though - advertised as max 55 and there were 77 on our bus! It meant some of the stops felt rushed by the time you got in to a place, especially lunch!
It is was a really great tour arround the island. I was mostly impressed by the drive on volcanos road in timanfaya and the virtuosity of Rafa, the bus driver, to navigate this road . Rachel, the guide was brilliant. Very knowlagebale about the history of the island and also very carring to everyone in the group. Thank you Rachel, thank you Rafa!
This tour is worth the money and time to see the highlights of the volcanoes landscape of Lanzarot. The tour pickup is on time and the guide provided Great information.
It was a great way to see the Island and all it's attractions in one day. We really enjoyed it though could have given the winery a miss.
It was really well organised, excellent guide, saw all the attractions listed. Overall excellent tour. Really enjoyed from start to finish. Extraordinary the different landscapes.
My husband and I had the most wonderful time exploring Lanzarote — from the incredible volcanic landscapes of Timanfaya to the magical Jameos del Agua and the fascinating Cueva de los Verdes. The camel ride was so good. So many beautiful places, special memories, and unforgettable moments. The travel guide Rachel was amazing.
Amazing day, guides were so informative, I learnt so much.
A very full day with lots of things to see. Felt a bit rushed at times but we did fit a lot into the day. The drive through the park was scary but so worth it. Excellent driver. Sammy our guide was good but spoke quickly so we missed some of what was said. The Verdes cave was quite challenging due to rough steps and darkness so perhaps warn travellers? Overall it was a good experience.
Good variety of activities and very nice optional lunch. The caves were amazing. Struggled to understand the instructions from the guide though as she spoke very fast.
It was a good way to see the island and the main sights that are there. interesting. I was a good day out.
It was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish! We seen so many amazing parts of the island and learnt so much. The caves were breathtaking but I think my favourite part was the volcanos. I will be recommending anyone to do this that comes to Lanzarote. The tour guide Raquel was so knowledgeable and I liked she said everything in English & Spanish. The bus driver was absolutely fantastic. 5/5
Well organized tour. The demonstration at the Timanfaya National park was very interesting! The Jameos cave was so amazing. On the whole an unforgettable visit!!
Lots of places to see and its very enjoyable, but it can quite a long day 9+hrs. It can be hard to manouvre through the caves so if you struggle with balance in dim lighting, it can be hard. The tour guide is very nice. Id decommend bring drinks as it can be far between stops. Some of the locationz are just a 20 min stop so if you want to really see somewhere or have a meal there, then the tour isnt the best option.
Great trip loved the caves and volcano. Guide was excellent and a lovely stop for dinner in between trips
Highly recommended! We had a fantastic day out, starting with a prompt pickup in Costa Teguise at 8:25 AM and returning around 5:00 PM.The itinerary was jam-packed but incredibly memorable, yielding some beautiful photos. The absolute highlights were exploring the stunning volcanic landscapes and underground caves. Due to the extreme weather, we unfortunately couldn't see the camels, but safety comes first. The double-decker coach was clean and well-air-conditioned, though we still felt the outside heat at times. Note that a few seats on board face backwards. Our tour guide was great, seamlessly switching between English and Spanish. For lunch, the restaurant provided a decent variety of good-quality food and conveniently accepts card payments.
The tour was amazing. We got to see so many places. The value for money was great too. Vanessa (the tour guide) was very helpful.
A great way to see the island & its volcanic history. The camel riding was a great addition to the day!
Great experience, Good way to see all the highlights in Lanzarote in one trip.
It’s a great way to see the island in one day it’s a long day but worth it. I liked that it was through and comprehensive.
My niece and I took this day trip. It was well organised and ran to schedule. The caves were beautiful and we really enjoyed seeing them. We didn't opt in for the Jameos del Agua or the camel ride but others did and I believe they enjoyed. The drive around Timanfaya and demonstrations of the volcano were impressive and then we had a last stop at the lagoon which was very pretty. Overall it was an enjoyable day. Thank you
Absolutely exceeded our expectations and was fantastic value for money! We’d highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to feel like they’ve really ‘done’ Lanzarote during their trip. We went with our 11-year-old and he thoroughly enjoyed the whole day too. It was a great way to see and experience so much of the island without feeling like we’d missed out on anything. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, funny and engaging, which made the day even more enjoyable. A brilliant experience from start to finish and definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
Absolutely fantastic experience! To visit the landscape of the volcanoes and see into the cave, wonderful time shared with my family. Great guide.
My son and I had a fantastic time on this trip last week. It was jam packed, but really enjoyable. We visited lots of amazing sights, but the caves and the camel rides were our favourites. I would recommend this tour as it’s a great way of seeing the island of Lanzarote. The driver and the tour guide were lovely and made the trip very enjoyable.
We had an amazing day and loved all the sites we visited. Every site had something special. Better than expected and definitely worth every euro . A special thanks to our amazing guide Vanessa (enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very punctual) and our chauffeur (Manolo) whose driving was very impressive. Thank you both for the great day. Kirsten and family
We would highly recommend this trip is worth every penny. It’s incredible tour. Definitely worth it!!!
Our visit to Lanzarote was Short but Sweet. Since we were only there a few days We wanted to make the most of our time there therefore we booked onto this full day experience with Lanzarote Guides to see the island and its history - which was such a good decision! Communication prior to the trip was great. We were messaged 2 days before hand how, where, what time we were going to be picked up, what we might need. And a photo of the bus! On the day we were picked up around 7:30 (we were first pick up which meant we got the best seats- two front seats on a double decker sight seeing coach) Super comfy! We then went around playa Blanca to pick up the rest of the passengers, after that we headed straight up to Cuevas de los verdes, Jameos del Agua and Mirador De Guinate. After that we stopped in Haría for lunch which was very tasty €12 pp buffet with water and wine. We then got back on the coach and were encouraged a Siesta as the next stop was about a 40 minute drive which I definitely took the opportunity for! We made our way to La Geria which was a small winery where we had a small tasting - you are given an option of dry or sweet and the sweet tasted like pure honey ❤️ After that we had a camel ride (optional for €11pp) we took the opportunity, small ride with a quick stop for a photo, all the camels have names - Alberto carried us 🐫 very good boy! If you chose not to ride the camel you could have a look at the history of camel museum. It was only a 20 minute stop here. After that we headed for the big event - Timanfaya! This was so exciting - we got to touch hot rocks, see Hay turned into fire just by putting it in a hole and of-course the geyser! There was a natural BBQ where food was roasted on heat from the volcano! And then a bus ride around the volcanic lands. Last stop was El Lago Verde and then we all got dropped off back at our pick up points. We were back at our hotel for around 17:30 We had the best time, our guide Vanessa was very informative throughout the journey, she kept changing between Spanish and English as we had a mixed group, it was very nice to learn some Spanish words. She was very funny and entertaining! Our Driver was Manolo and big round of applause to him for driving us around ALL DAY especially around Timanfaya! Few tips - wear comfy shoes, don’t over pack, you literally won’t need anything other than a phone maybe a power bank and a bottle of water, if you are wearing a hat make sure it’s a quite tight one - gets very windy!
We had a wonderful day with beautiful memories. If you want to discover the highlights of Lanzarote in one day, this is highly recommended. I have added a few photos of what I captured. Enjoy!
This was easily one of the best tours we’ve ever joined in Spain. Our guide was absolutely outstanding. Managing a group of more than 70 people for over 10 hours is no easy task, but she handled everything effortlessly with professionalism, warmth, and incredible organization. Her knowledge of Lanzarote’s volcanic history, geology, and local culture made every stop fascinating. She also surprised us throughout the day with little stories and hidden highlights that made the experience even more memorable. A special thank you to our driver as well. Driving such a huge coach through the narrow, winding roads of Timanfaya National Park requires exceptional skill, and he made it look effortless. Even better, he thoughtfully stopped at several of the best viewpoints, giving everyone plenty of opportunities to take amazing photos of the breathtaking volcanic landscapes. The scenery was unlike anything we’ve ever seen—raw, dramatic, and almost otherworldly. Thanks to our guide and driver, we were able to experience the volcanoes from perspectives we would never have discovered on our own. A perfect combination of professionalism, passion, and outstanding service. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Lanzarote. Five stars without hesitation!
Amazing trip to see the best of Lanzarote in one day! Perfectly organized, everything packed in couple of hours, quick but efficient, with enough time everywhere. You can see awesome two caves, viewpoint, national park Timanfaya, green lake and take a sip of local wine. Some people found camels ride nice, we didn't take it. With rented car it rather wouldn't be possible to see all those places in one day, especially that for caves, if not going with an organized trip, you need to have online ticket booked upfront. Comfy coach with aircon, only pity it had a kind of bluish hue tinted side windows, so the colors of Timanfaya park during a bus tour were not that gorgeous as seen thru front window. Great guide Vanessa explained everything in Spanish and English, thumbs up also driver Alfonso. Overall fantastic experience, definitely recommended, worth every EUR spent, plus it was organized by local agency - Lanzaroteguides, so happy to support locals. Book it, you won't regret!
Wow what an amazing experience this was. Me and my partner usually come away to relax but we wanted to see what Lanzarote had to offer apart from the beautiful weather as we were here for longer than usual. We had plenty of stops and they weren’t too long either which was perfect. It was just over a nine hour day, but it went by quickly and was incredibly enjoyable. Our tour guide was lovely and the bus driver was brilliant navigating through all the tight roads! Highly highly recommend this trip!!
An extremely professional , efficient, friendly tour of the key aspects of the island. Our guide was excellent and provided detailed information on every location and wonderful history on the island. The bus driver was incredible and maneuvered very difficult spaces with ease. The company is highly efficient. They even contacted me via text to tell me the bus would be nine minutes late to pick me up.
A fantastic day out. Not one to be missed. The pick up point was easy to get to. We were picked on time. The tour guide was amazing, very engaging and informative. Spectacular views of the landscapes of Lanzarote. A relaxed way of sight seeing, we got to see most of the island including the caves, an optional camel ride (the views were enough to keep you busy if you chose not to) wineriery and viewpoints. Highly recommend.
Fantastic trip to explore the natural landscape of Lanzarote. Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos del Agua were both amazing, but Timanfaya National Park was our personal highlight. It's absolutely stunning, and huge credit to our driver Sebastian for navigating the bus through the volcanoes! Rachel our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. The lunch stop was worth the money too and broke the day up nicely. Can't recommend this trip highly enough. A brilliant day!
This tour was just what I hoped it would be, bringing the highlights of the island’s natural history into on day. The caves was the highlight for me, but the demonstrations with the different heat levels of the rocks was fascinating. The guide and the driver were both brilliant - the latter had to be with all those tricky, tight turns as we navigated through the volcanos! Lunch stop was decent and everything ran to time.
Is ok the price is high but the itinerary is good the food was good the camel ride Good Communication could be better pick up from hotel and not bus station
Amazing tour, excellent guide ( Rachel) would recommend this tour 💯 %.
Brilliant experience that covered so much of the Island. There were 8 of us, and the coach was really comfortable, and our guide, Veronica, was so informative, and you could hear that she was really proud of where she was from. The views were spectacular, and the buffet lunch was good. It is mainly on the coach for the day, but there are plenty of stops to stretch your legs!! I would highly recommend it!
Our trip was in the double-decker bus, completely full with about 100 people on the bus! The amount of time for everyone to get on and off the bus, go through the cites took a lot from the trip. With this large group you really cannot hear the guide explanations. The amount of pick up and drop off stops was absolutely excessive. In addition, we booked the English tour but the guide usually gave 2 sentences explanation in English and immediately switched to Spanish. We ended up using GPT to follow our itinerary.
Tour ran smoothly, on time and reliably. Volcanoes were the highlight of the trip. Staff were pleasant and friendly. However, the trip felt overcrowded and rushed both on the double decker coach and at each trip point of interest. We also advise that the trip guide reduces the volume of narrative on the coach to allow people to just enjoy the journey in peace, without constant broadcast all the way there and back.
We had a wonderful time. Fantastic day packed with lots of amazing sights. Our guide Vanessa was great. Informative and lots of fun! Definately recommend for anyone visiting the island.
A truly well organised tour, from the moment of booking the communication was superb and the planned day was faultless. The tour guide was informative and spoke good English. We did not partake of the optional lunch, but enjoyed a local offering from a small adjacent bar. The travel time between stops was not excessive, the coach was clean and tidy and although a long day, we enjoyed all the stops. We also appreciated the change of coach at the end of the day, to save us travelling back up north to return back south. Highly recommended if you want to cover most of the sites in one day.
Couldn’t recommend this enough. Was wondering how they would fill the quoted time but there was so much to see and do. Have ridden camels before in Morocco and wasn’t going to bother but the setup and little trek looked good and was easily worth the extra.
We had a very good experience. Whilst it was a whole day experience, every aspect was good. Organises. Picked up on time. Thank you to our tour guide Vanessa and our driver Alphonso! All the advertised attractions were great. In addition to these, exploring smaller communities in Lanzarote as we moved between excursions were a great addition to see what life is like for the citizen of Lanzarote. Driving through the communities of white houses with green doors were so interesting. Lunch In Haria was sooooo good! The buffet had good options and the food was enjoyable. From North to South, we explored Lanzarote in one day! Totally worth it.
The tour was punctual, the itinerary was full and we saw and learned a huge amount in 1 day. The driver was very good & careful and the guide was excellent. She took on board comments and answered all queries. She did an amazing job of keeping all members of the group on schedule. Lunch was good value for money despite there being limited options for vegetarians.
Yes a long day (up to 10 hours depending where you board the coach) but well worth it. Stops planned really well and the right amount of time at each stop. I have been to several caves around the world but not experienced the adventure you get at Cueva de Los verdes but some of the trail can be challenging if you have mobility issues and the headroom is low in some places. Tour guide Nazarid helped made the day such good fun. The landscape at Timanfaya is out of this world.
From start to finish the experience was seamless. Knowledgeable, fun, friendly guide and experienced, comfortable driver. We hit each stop frequently, with several more than I expected. The lunch was fantastic for the price, 12€ with bottomless wine. I'm not very fit and found some cave walks slightly challenging, so those with mobility issues or pushchairs would be restricted. Stairs were thankfully broken up most of the time. Highlights would be walking the small cave passages at Cueva de los Verdes, the pool at Jameos del agua, learning about island life and agriculture, the winery and camel ride, the restaurant at the top of Tamafaya with demonstrations, travelling through the lava fields, and the many scenic photo opportunities.
Fantastic, other worldly experience... felt like we are in mars... Blue lagoon, Green lagoon, sea on the other side... Walking inside lava tunnels... feeling the volcanic heat, excellent.
