Great whole day tour visiting all the locations you need for an overview of volcanic Lanzarote. The only small misgiving would be whether the lunch at 15 Euros was best value .

Fantastic trips with First minute travel. Easy to book. They offered the best tours at the best prices because they genuinely love the island and want to share it with you. They took extra care with our children, and an elderly couple that also got on. They were punctual and made each journey fun with their humor. Tour guides were brilliant pointing out things we wouldnt have noticed or known about. Our first trip was so good we went and booked 2 more! And each one was equally as fantastic. The lady and her son in the office made it so straight forward getting to the best parts that we really wanted to see. The travel agents didn't actually seem to know much about the island and they're "desk" wasn't always available. First minute had the kiosk open all the time so whenever you felt like going out you could! So easy. They made sure we knew the stops and gave names of buses, drivers and they guides they all seemed really friendly with each other. Very helpful 👌 thank you for making our holiday so spectacular 😀 definitely recommend.
Great day out, well organised. Roland was our tour guide and was exceptional, giving the tour in three languages. The day worked well, always on the move and no waiting for queues as everything was pre-booked. Also had a stop at wine tasting. We also stopped for lunch, good food, including lots of vegetarian choices, and wine for €15 each. Highly recommend the volcano and cave tours.
The trip was most enjoyable, although the start was haphazard. Get to the coach was a bit tortuous, got picked up in a minibus about 800m from our hotel, then drove to a nearby town roughly 8km away and the finally after a 10-minute wait, boarded another coach, which took us to our final coach. Roland our Dutch guide was very knowledgeable and knew the island well, having lived there for many years. The Timanfaya National Park was spectacular. The demonstrations at the cafe were very good. The eat as much buffet lunch (not included in the prize) was excellent value (€ 15 person including wine). The caves were well worth a visit, and the guide had a surprise in store. I won't a spoil your enjoyment by telling you.
Fantastic day out on This premium tour Picked up and dropped off at hotel Fantastic driver and 1st class courier who gave an excellent in-site to the history of Lanzarote Everything was superbly organised Stopped off for a buffet lunch with wine (extra15€ per person) in Haria which was excellent A brilliant day out well worth doing Thank-you First minute tours
Great day out. Professally organised with timings spot on. Roland (our guide) was fluent in multiple languages and a nice guy. An excellent way to discover a large part of Lanzarote.
Several customers were collected from their hotel, we had to be collected from the bus station & then on to collect others from hotels. We waited 10 minutes in Yaiza for customers to transfer to & from other buses, therefore we didn’t start the tour til 10.30 . We were told we would be back by 18.00 but after a long and needless stop @ Jameos del Agua, we didn’t get back to the bus station until 19.00 & still had to walk to our villa. The tour guide Roland had excellent knowledge of all the sites we visited
Very disappointing experience from start to finish. We received conflicting information about the bus collection point , the email and text message stated two different locations. I confirmed via text and was told to remain outside our hotel. At the supposed collection time, I received an abrupt phone call asking if I was attending the trip. When I explained I was waiting at the confirmed collection point, I was told, “we never collect from there,” and given just five minutes to get to a new location. When we arrived, the bus had already pulled away and only stopped because it was caught in traffic a few hundred meters down the road. Once on board, the driver was very abrupt. I showed the tour guide the message I had received from the company, only to be told “lies, lies,” which was completely unprofessional. At the camel stop, we were given only 25 minutes not nearly enough time to do the camel ride, let alone visit the museum or use the toilet facilities. Having completed a similar tour with another company a few years ago, there was simply no comparison. Overall, this trip was very poorly organised.
What a fantastic trip, went to the volcano & got to see some spectacular scenery, then went to a local vineyard , but being a none drinker wasn't that good. Went to the caves which were the best part of the trip, really interesting & our guide Paul was a minefield of knowledge. It's a bit narrow in places & uou have to stoop down a couple of times to avoid the low ceiling of the cave but we'll worth it. We stopped for lunch which was 15 euros extra for a buffet, but we'll worth it. Then finished of at the sinkhole which I found very pretty, over all it's a lot of walking up & down steps but the views make it worth your while.
Such great experience! Definitely worth booking. Busy day fillet with beautiful views and very informative. Tour guy was speaking 3 different languages which was impressive.
I cannot say enough how grateful I am for this experience!! From beginning to the end tour was professional and went above my expectations. Paul as a guide was INCREDIBLE. His passion and dedication was inspiring. On top of everything our driver “Fernando Alonso” was exceptional. The roads we drove were impossible for a bus but he made it look like a piece of cake. Vamanos “Fernando”. Recommend for everyone!!
We booked the premium tour and found it great value for money. The driver Melvyn was very friendly and the guide Paul was very knowledgeable and kept everyone entertained with his local knowledge and humour. Lunch was a very good buffet with a good selection of dishes. All in all would highly recommend this tour if you’re only on the island a short time as it encompasses all the highlights and more
We have used First minute travel before when we visited Lanzarote in 2024. Again we decided to use First minute travel again for North and South Tour (Grand tour) in 2025. We had Paul as our guide and really made the tour extra special. His knowledge of the island and the attractions was so valuable as he is a born and bred Lanzarote citizen. What made this tour special for me was as I am disabled the care and support from Paul and the driver on the day was superb. There was some attractions which were not possible to do fully. But Paul managed to find a way so I could still enjoy and see some of the delights of these attractions. Again thank you for such a enjoyable day and experience we will take away with happy memories as a family x
Absolutely fantastic, Michael the guide and Roberto the driver. Both really friendly and really helpful. Michael had all the knowledge needed and more, was funny, friendly and down to earth. Roberto the driver Absolutely fantastic driving the the park on the narrow roads and didn't fall off the cliffs. Both Faultless and a credit to the tour company
The itenary looked awesome, was looking forward to the volcanoes/Green Lagoon/wine tasting etc but spent no more than 20 to 25 mins at each place, felt rushed and herded through. Lady guide was nice enough but did not understand or hear her properly and was very dull. Lunch was good value and free jug of red wine or should I say vinegar! Compared to other tours I have been on this one was disappointing.
Great full day trip, we were picked up at 8:45 in Costa Teguise and then more pick ups at PDC and Yaiza, our guide Roland and as very knowledgeable about the areas we passed thought and throughout the day at the places we visited, then off to the Timanfaya national park, hopped off the bus to so demonstration how hot the ground is at the top then back on the bus for a drive around the park. This is the only way to see the park and I am glad we were on the tour bus as the queue by car was over two hours. The driver was as amazing manoeuvring the big coach around the narrow windy roads. When we finished there we headed to the local vineyard to sample some Lanzarote wine, would have like to have popped to the museum next door but just not enough time. But somewhere to visit in future. Then a spot of lunch, which wasn’t included in trip price, but it was only €15 for a buffet of chicken, meatballs, salad and pasta there and as also a jug of red wine and water on the table and other drinks available in the bars at an additional cost Then off to Cueva de los Verde which was amazing but be prepared for ducking down when walking through the tunnels and so low spots. Finally off to Jameos de agua again amazing place to end the day. Dropped back at 17:30 Cost of trip was €89 but when you factor in the entrance fee to the attraction it worked out good value for money
Coach never arrived at hotel. No excursion. No communication. Company not answering phone. Hotel gave us our deposit back but half a day holiday wasted
Overall - a great day, and I'd recommend it. It was let down by a couple of things, which *should* be fairly easy to sort out! Our pick up point was (and I've copied this directly): HOTEL HESPERIA PLAYA DORADA ( Phone box ) That hotel doesn't exist - and hasn't for several years - we worked out that it's the one called "Dreams" now. The phone box doesn't exist either, although a careful inspection of the pavement reveals where one probably was! So we were not at all sure we were in the right place (and met several other couples who were sharing the same anxiety)! The "wine tasting" is simply a single, small shot of an unknown (and very average) beverage - a bit of miss-selling there. Be aware, also, that this is not for folks with limited mobility. Not a problem for us, but felt sorry for some elderly ladies who couldn't manage some of the climbing about. Roland, our guide, was excellent!
Lovely trip, plenty of time in each place didn’t feel rushed. Lunch wasn’t the best but was okay did the job. Volcanoes and caves both amazing
Totally enjoyed this excursion. Full day and well worth the money. Absolutely loved the volcanos and lava caves, just stunning. Amazing what this world has to offer, and that eerie feeling that this was once an active volcano and should we actually be here . Wine tasting: nit sure I would call it that! More like a quick toilet stop and offered a small shot of some kind of white wine. No sampling of other wines, was expecting something more. Felt like we were shipped in and out. Lunch was not enjoyable, no option to view what is on the menu before you pay the €15. No real chance of ‘all you can eat’ as too rushed. Was literally herd us in, eat and hurry back to the coach. If I did this trip again I would have ventured around the village and ate elsewhere. Very picturesque village. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful as was the driver.
We took the Premium Tour and visited Timanfaya National Park, an unforgettable experience. The bus ride through the lava fields—once molten and flowing—is truly impressive. One of the highlights was visiting a spot where extremely high temperatures exist just below the surface. A fascinating demonstration showcased the intense heat of the earth in this area of the park. Our driver and guide were very helpful. The guide was excellent, providing information in four languages! Afterwards, we stopped at a craft market and enjoyed a wine tasting before heading to Haría, a charming small town where we had lunch. Please note that lunch is not included in the tour; it costs €15 per adult and €10 per child. The meal is served buffet-style, allowing you to eat as much as you like. It also includes a 2-liter bottle of water and a jug of red wine. In the afternoon, we explored La Cueva de los Verdes, a breathtaking volcanic cave formed by ancient lava flows. Walking through this underground marvel was both impressive and beautiful. Later, we visited Jameos del Agua, another stunning volcanic formation, though here is shorter compared to La Cueva de los Verdes. Tour Details: - Duration: Full-day tour - Pick-up: 9:00 AM from your hotel - Drop-off: 6:00 PM Tips for the Tour: ✔️ In La Cueva de los Verdes, you will need to descend stairs and crouch at certain points. ✔️ The cave can be dark in some areas. ✔️ Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. ✔️ Bring cash or a bank card for souvenirs (and tips for the driver and tour guide). This tour was a fantastic way to experience Lanzarote’s unique volcanic landscapes and cultural highlights. Highly recommended!
From Costa Teguise this tour was a waste of time. An 8.40am pick up to go 1.5h in the wrong direction to change bus in Puerto del Carmen and travel all the way back to basically where we started - hours of travel seeing nothing but multiple hotel pick ups and drop offs.
Good overall view of the Island highlights👍 Timanfaya and the Lanzarote ‘special’ vineyards is a must see. Good balance of time at each event. Was going to hire car, but as always you need a guide to bring the Island alive!! António was great a guide so kudos ! Thanks to driver Trip advisor booking was easy fair play lads Book it would recommend, especially if you only having one day away from relaxing
Good & organised tour. Pick up time was good and the coach was nice and clean. The tour took you to all the places you’d like to see and you got to spend enough time everywhere. Would recommend.
Wow! such a fantastic trip. Full day of volcanoes, first timanfaya national park, the coach goes around the volcanoes and through the lava field. Spectacular views, demonstration of how hot it is under the ground near the restaurant. Visit to the green cave, loved walking around the lava tunnel with our tour guide. The last stop at jameos del agua with the sea pool where tiny albino crabs live was lovely. Great day out was picked up from hotel and dropped off too. Tour guide roland was brilliant loads of information about lanzarotes history and the places we visited. Really recommend this tour if you want a great day and want to see a bit more of the island.
Booked Grand Tour with Excursions Lanzarote (Travelon World) for today, 9th March. This date was on the confirmation booking and e-ticket. Was at the pickup point 1/2 hour early, but the coach never arrived. Got in touch with the Tour operator (First Minute) who informed us that Excursions Lanzarote had booked 9th May. Tried to call Travelon World (website says 7 days a week - actually only Monday to Friday). Tried the chat (painfully slow). Absolute rubbish customer service. Book with them at your peril.
Great way to see the 'hot spots' across the island! Took the opportunity to sit back and relax and enjoy the view. Roland provided ample information about the history of the island and the areas we visited. Buffet food was an extra 12 euro, but good choices were available and tasty enough as buffets go. I was a little disappointed in the wine tasting element of the tour as it was little more than a mouthful and no discussion on what it was or where it was from. All in all, it was a good way to see the island and well done to our driver who took us around some very hairy bends!
The timings at each stop were perfect, we didn’t feel rushed and we also didn’t feel like it could have been cut shorter. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he managed different languages well and planned this into the tour The commentary on the bus was informative and our driver was very skilled. We decided to pay for lunch at the stop and it was things like pasta, salad and potatoes. For the money, it was good food and buffet style. The only small issue we had was that when we booked the tour, we were given a pick up time and location that wasn’t right. Always check with the company. Luckily we did as we read a similar issue in another review.
A really good full day out. You see so much of Lanzarote with a very informative guide. Roland worked hard and spoke fluently in many languages to make the trip excellent. We learned so much and saw some truly amazing things.
We had such a great day. Not really knowing what to expect. Paul was great he made the day so fun & very knowledgable on every place. We had time to chill & enjoy the experience & ambience of these amazing places. It was optional €12 or €13 for lunch. We bought our own & sat on the benches outside enjoying the sun with a nice cold beer. The whole day went smoothly make sure you wear comfortable foot wear. You will not be disappointed, would definitely recommend. When we come back, we will be booking more tours. Also shout out to the bus driver, I think, Luciano. Great driving 😃
Brilliant whole day tour of Lanzarote, covering the 4 great sites. Paul our tour guide was great, very professional and knowledgable, with a great sense of humour ! Had a fab time.
A fantastic tour! A friend recommended this tour, and we're glad we booked it. The tour guide Paul is brilliant, a local chap with great knowledge of the island. Perfectly fluent and flips between English and Spanish flawlessly. You're in safe hands with Manuel the driver! The volcano was great, you get to hold hot volcanic rocks. The caves were great, but one in particular was superb (no spoilers). The final stop, the viewpoint, was astounding. Paul & his tour seem to be the first tour at each attraction, including the buffet, which was nice. Some people criticised the buffet, but for €12, it's perfectly fine. Local lentil soup was tasty, plenty of mains options, ice cream for dessert, red wine and water. For the price you pay, it's a bargain, it is genuinely a good and interesting day out. Especially as you skip past the 2 hour queue of cars to get to the volcano, and skip all other queues entering the attractions! Highly recommended tour.
Expériences and car tour in Timanfaya National Park. Guide Roland is excellent. We had enough time to see all what was in the programm.
This was a very authentic and full of positive emotions tour! The guide Paul is absolutely amazing as he is making sure everyone has received attention, he is polite and playful with the group. It's definitely not easy to keep up with a group of 40+ people. The time on each stop is sufficient, you have enough time to walk around, take pictures and enjoy the sight. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to see the majority of the sights on the island and get more info on what is what. Biggest bonus has to be the fact that you don't wait in queues, if you go privately (to the Timanfaya National park f.e. you have to way at least 1.5 hours to get in). The buffet offered as an extra is tasty and does a great job. I don't understand what people are complaining about in prior reviews. You pay 12 EUR for unlimited food, water and wine. Part of the food is also a homemade lentil soup which is very very tasty! Everything else is decent enough to satisfy your appetite. Again, it's 12 EUR, what do you expect? Great tour, would highly recommend!
Great Tour. Great Staff. I could give the lunch buffet a miss as a bit basic, but otherwise excellent day.
This was a great trip! A long day but worth doing. The volcano experience was fun and interesting; the caves were just amazing! Yvette was very informative and we learned a great deal. Lunch was ok... Just about worth the €12. Pace of the day was good with plenty of rest breaks. I would advise comfy shoes and be prepared for a few stairs.
Very good value for money. Our tour guide, Paul, was professional, informative and added to the days’ success. Each of the stops were carefully planned to make the most of the time available. The caves and volcanoes are spectacular and must be seen whilst on the island. The only point to note is that the £12 lunch is optional and not necessary as you can take your own food, buy a snack, have a beer or an ice cream at the snack bar. We opted for the lunch and found it very disappointing, bordering on inedible. Definitely do this trip, with first minute tours and Paul, but take your own lunch .
Our narrator was fantastic - switching between English and Spanish effortlessly. Seeing the main sights without queuing was well worth it.
Exactly as described. No stop offs at a factory to try to sell you something, just a great guide, skilled driver and a fabulous day out. I loved every single highlight and saw more of the Island than on previous tours. I never felt rushed and the additional lunch was pleasant. The Timafaya route for coaches only was, at times, hair-raising but I loved it. If you love Alton Towers then sit at the front for an epic view. The driver was amazing at his job. There were some nice surprises on this tour but I am sworn to secrecy. Just enjoy it as much as I did. It was great value for money too.
Overall we were very happy with this tour. We got to see a good amount of places, and the time spent at each was enough, without being too much or feeling rushed. The bus was comfy with aircon, which was needed in August heat! The guide , Paul, was great. Lots of interesting information provided as we were driving and on site too. The only downside was the lunch (which is a buffet). We are both vegan, so I'd messaged the company 3 times asking if there were vegan options, but didn't get an appropriate response (just "it is a buffet with options"). Unfortunately the only vegan options were some very sad looking salad, some potato chips, and some roasted potatoes. Nothing was marked with names or dietary symbols/labels, so it was hard to know what it was and/or was in it (most were meat or meat-based). And although it is an open buffet, you really only get to go up once, because as soon as we finished, another bus came in, then another, and the queue was huge.
Paul and Paco were super friendly. Paul, our guide, was also extremely knowledgeable about everything in Lanzarote. We spent the whole day travelling around the island and visiting some of the main highlights. We had enough time to explore the sites and enjoy some shopping and a coffee. The day trip was well organized and we enjoyed it very much!
The Premium Tour is extremely good value and well worth the c sixty euros. Especially as you get to see things you can’t in a car (eg the lava field tour and a commentary from the bus host) the price includes all your entry fees (worth c30 euros) and, in a coach, you get to cut the line. This is vital given the queue for Timafaya is c.2 hours and the queue for the Green Caves is at least an hour. And there are actually more than four stops as they also stop for a brief wine tasting (and comfort break) and the lunch stop is worth the additional twelve euros (all you can eat buffet) which is also discounted for bus tour operators
This is a must on a trip to Lanzarote. Tour guide was great, very knowledgable, friendly, loved his cockney English translations. By doing this trip you don’t queue, you go straight into the attractions. Trip to the volcano national park was great, curvy roads but the driver was slow and controlled and made it comfortable. Buffet lunch for €12 was good value. Caves were great. A really good day out.
Absolutely excellent from start to finish. Great service and knowledgeable tour guides, some sights were better than others but all definitely worth visiting. I would highly recommend this both for the great value and the time efficiency of this tour. It is a full day tour but you get to see much of the island and a lot of the main sights. We only went for a short cheap 4 night holiday and this was the only trip we took, I feel like we saw a good part of Lanzarote and I am very happy we took it. There are some things we would have liked to see that were not on this tour eg the Cactus gardens however I don't think they could have fit anything else in one day. There are other tours that offer some of the other sights, if you are staying for a week I feel that combing this tour with one of the other ones on a different day would be a great way to see much of the island. 5* Highly recommend
This was our first visit to Lanzarote so we wanted to see the volcanos. This tour didn’t disappoint. From the minute we were picked up to the minute we were dropped off it was very informative and interesting. Paul, our guide, did a great job in giving us the narrative to go with the tour. Timanfaya national park was a glorious sight and stark contrast to our home in Scotland. I personally would recommend this tour to anyone who has some interest in the formation of the islands and of course the natural beauty it provides. The mirador del Rio was spectacular and does rival parts of home for its shear beauty. Jameos Del Agua and Cuave de los Verdes were something to behold as bothered were part of the same natural lava flows carved under the ground. If you are looking for a nice day trip. With plenty stops and time to look around then this is for you. First minute tours did a great job. Thank you.
The Premium Tour was the highlight of our trip to Lanzarote. The tour comprises of visiting Timanfaya National Park, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and Mirador del Rio. Our guide Roland was brilliant and very knowledgable, not just about the attractions on the tour and the work of César Manrique and Jesús Soto Morales, but also about the local villages and landscape we passed when travelling. A shout out to our coach driver too, for getting us around all day. We were picked up at 8:40am from Costa Teguise and dropped off at around 5:30pm, this is a full day tour with the option of an additional buffet lunch. I would advise wearing comfortable clothing and footwear. I’d also advise checking out the Casa de los Volcanes Museum whilst at Jameos del Agua as I imagine this would be easy to miss if you didn’t know it was there. Overall, a captivating experiencing highlighting the history and culture of Lanzarote.
i watched this on utube before i got there i was amazed to see it up close and to see the fire and the steam coming up from the ground made my day well worth the visit ver5y popular place lots of people there .
An excellent tour was conducted by the tour guide of bus # 5 on 26th June and a safe return trip by the driver Roberto. Clean, comfortable, and secure coach with air conditioning. A very good time was spent at all destinations, lots to see and lots of photos taken. All passengers were punctual on returning to the coach after each tour, so there was no impact onwards tours or return to hotel pickup / drop-off point. However, I would advise that you seek confirmation and clarity on your pick-up point. The agents you communicate with in Lanzarote are locals, and assume you are familiar with the area. If you can, seek details of specific landmarks like other buildings like hotels, street names, etc. Not just supermarkets and telephone boxes, because you could have two of the same supermarkets in the same area as I found in my case. So, make further enquiries via email, using photo clips of maps, etc. In addition, some improvement in terms of quality is required to the lunch buffet offered (€10), also the provision of labels to identify the dishes, taking into consideration of persons who may have a food allergy, etc.
Great day .really good guide who gave us plenty of information. Travelling to lots of locations.really worth while taking this tour.
An amazing trip to see lots of the key sights in Lanzarote. Roland and Sylvester were great - Roland’s commentary and ability to switch between multiple languages was so impressive. Excellent buffet too! Thank you for a great day!
