Itinerary
Come and enjoy on board the White Dreams the numerous species of cetaceans that congregate in the waters of the Canary Islands. The main objective is the observation and monitoring of endemic species in their natural habitat. During the 2-hour whale watching, you will be able to enjoy the wonderful coves of the island of Tenerife. Also, during the trip we will offer drinks on board (soft drinks, beers and waters) and a selection of fruit. We have the Blue Boat certification that allows us to legally develop whale watching activities, while helping to protect marine life, promote conservation and environmental awareness, respect marine protected areas and support scientific research. * Exmaran does not guarantee the sighting of cetaceans during the entire course of the excursion. This depends on the weather conditions and the animals in the wild.

Great trip - Ricky and Robby were great and helpful with everything very relaxed and a good laugh
We had a great time with white dreams. Ricardo and Vincent were so welcoming and made the experience very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend.
Thank you to Roberto and Ricardo for a special trip🥹✨
Ricky and Robbie were absolutely fantastic, thank you for a wonderful trip! We saw so many wales and had a fantastic time!
It was a very good experience with good company and the guides Valdja, captain ricky and Roberto on the boat looked after my father in law for which I am grateful.
Excellent staff it was quite choppy but the captain knew exactly what he was doing, managed to see Pilot whales and a Turtle.
Top trip I would recommend to everyone
What a great few hours seen dolphins and whales
Amazing experience so worth the money and lovely staff a board
Absolutely brilliant. At £65 per adult for a 3 hour boat trip, with food and a stop to snorkel. It was well worth the money. Ricky and the lady on boat were very welcoming and friendly, found us loads of whales. With only 10 on us on board there was plenty of room to move round. A bit of music playing, very relaxing trip. Great for kids and adults.
Ask which gate as we were stood at the meeting point no one about had to contact viator actual meeting place round other side of the marina. Not great. Although we saw whales had a detour to a beach cove for swim, don't recall seeing intended actual read up. Boat not quite what was expected had a broken bench seat sharp edges.
The two members of staff on the boat - Maria and the captain - were both fantastic. Very knowledgeable and helpful! The listing didn’t mention that we would be stopping for a swim (so we didn’t pack swimwear) and it also didn’t say that they would provide some food (so we didn’t provide dietary needs and therefore were unable to eat!) Despite this it was a great morning seeing whales and dolphins.
Would have given 5 but captain was vary rude to customers and was on his phone all the time so think he is only inerested in the money as I have found out he is the owner. BUT I MUST SAY THE YOUNG LADY ON THE BOAT CALLED V'LADKA WAS VERY PLEASANT VERY HELPFUL HOPEFULLY SHE GET PAID WELL ASSET TO THE COMPANY FOOD WAS GOOD AND SEEING THE MARINE LIFE WAS ENJOYABLE WOULD REMAND DOING THIS TRIP IF YOU CAN ENSURE ITS NOT THE BOSS !!
Amazing experience. Vladka was great!
This was an excellent trip the whole family enjoyed. We arrived at the docks and were shown quickly to a small well maintained boat. We were seated and quickly on our way to see a large family of whales, then, returning close to the shore there was an opportunity to swim (we decided not to), food and drink before we made the trip back to the docks. Overall the trip lasted around 3 hours. The hosts were excellent. Explaining everything clearly, having a good laugh with the guests (this experience is a smaller more personalised group) and looked after us well. We did unfortunately pick a day where the sea was a little rough. Everyone was fine for the journey out but we quickly succumbed to sea sickness one by one. The hosts were great and looked after us really well. Seeing the whales swimming close to the boat was special! If I was change anything I would change the day we went for calmer seas but this isn't the fault of the trip organisers. In fact they had checked the weather and contacted us to ask we came earlier as winds were due to pick up later in the day. Also worth noting that for safety reasons when out at sea it's not possible to walk around the boat. This is really sensible, but it does mean moving around to get better pictures is not easy. Once near the shore where seas were calmer they did allow guests to go around the boat including sitting out front deck to get pictures. We came away despite sea sickness really pleased we did this experience and I'd definitely recommend this due to the small group size which gives a more personal experience and better view of the whales
Good communication and no problem finding meeting point. Great, kind and helpful crew: unfortunately the water was pretty choppy and both my partner and I had seasickness so unable to fully enjoy the experience. Didn’t visit the bay for a swim and couldn’t eat lunch which looked very nice managed to see a couple of dolphins. Thank you
Excellent and really worthwhile trip and we saw many dolphins. We would strongly recommend. The sea was not too calm so not so good for seasickness. Very helpful team.
We've been to Costa Adeje twice previously, each time we've visited we have been on a whale-seeking boat trip. Today's trip was the best we have experienced. We were very fortunate that there were lots of Atlantic spotted dolphins in the water, but also the trip itself was very relaxed and the operator wasn't trying to cram people onto the boat. We also saw some huge male pilot whales, we'd only seen females and their young on previous trips. The staff were really friendly, informative and helpful and couldn't do enough for the passengers. So thanks for a great trip and we'll book with this operator again next year.
Our tour was cancelled at the time we were supposed to go out. The guides said it would be too windy. I wished they would have checked the weather forecast earlier and call us an hour beforehand. This way we came all the way from the North, searched half an hour for a parking spot and then heard that our tour would be cancelled and we would get the refund within the next 3-5 days.
We had a great time whalewatching on board this motoryacht. The crew was very passionate and knowledgeable regarding the marine life. We spotted 3 pods of pilot whales, including small baby whales, who are resident to this area so the guy said in the beginning that we have 99% chance of spotting whales! The last pod had ca 15 mums&babies! Our older daughter was unfortunately seasick despite it being very calm but the crew were so helpful and understanding. It was just us 4 and another family of 4. Wonderful experience.
An amazing time on this trip with a lovely crew. Only four of us on the boat which was so nice. very respectful of the whales and we had some amazing encounters and saw lots of them! Definitely recommend.
Guides were very insightful about marine life in Tenerife. We saw plenty of pods of whales and even a turtle on our way back to shore! Great price, with free soft drinks included. Only us and one other family on the boat so it wasn’t overcrowded like lots of other boats we saw leaving the harbour.
Although our little boys were both terribly seasick, we had a wonderful trip with William and Stylian. The boat was beautiful and really comfortable. Stylian was very knowledgable when it came to marine life but he also helped us a lot when our little boys were ill. He was very caring and understanding. We saw an amazing family pod of whales who came right up to the boat. William and Stylian were very mindful of keeping a distance from the whales and allowing them to come to us. They were compassionate and respectful.
We had an amazing whale watching experience with William and Stylian. We were met at the blue gates of platform 2 by William. There were just 4 of us on the trip which meant we had lots of room and viewing opportunities. Stylian is knowledgeable, William expertly captained the boat and both clearly passionate and respectful of the wildlife. We saw about 4 pods with around 15 whales. Just super! Thank you! Thoroughly recommend this trip.
We booked the trip through our hotel with tor operator White Tenerife. We specifically chose the sailing boat with only small capacity for passengers, although the same company does offer larger party tours and has other vessels. The boat was spotless and the skipper, Raoul was welcoming. He was extremely knowledgeable and we were given a wealth of information about the ocean environment, bio diversity and type of whales we could expect to see as well as other sea creatures. He also kept us well informed of the areas we were sailing to and the surrounding landscapes and points of interest. After experiencing the close up sightings of the whales and flying fish, we sailed to a bay and the boat anchored for passengers to swim in the ocean, have refreshments and a light lunch. Our trip lasted around 3.5 hours in total and was a really memorable experience. I would thoroughly recommend the company and this experience to anyone visiting Tenerife that is interested in whale watching.
Fantastic trip! William and stylian were the perfect hosts and full of knowledge, we seen pilot whales dolphins and even a turtle! Would highly recommend this trip it’s one we will never forget ❤️
We had an amazing experience on this boat trip! It ended up just being the two of us so we felt like we had a very personal and private tour! The crew was very friendly and Stylian was amazing throughout, giving us all sorts of interesting information about the sea animals and the local ecosystem. Watching the whales in their natural habitat was such a moving experience, and I appreciated so much the fact that the crew tried their best to spot a sea turtle for me! Thank you guys for leaving us with such a memorable experience to take home with us and may your business continue to flourish!
We had a fantastic morning on this excursion with Exmaran. The crew were great and shared lots of information along the way. The boat was beautiful with drinks and snacks included. They really care about the welfare of the animals and we saw so many different species of whale and dolphins. Absolutely recommend.
Wanted to see whales and to be sensitive to their welfare. This trip was perfect with kind, knowledgeable staff (William and Stifyan). Thank you, we really enjoyed it!
Great experience, knowledgable crew and many pilot whales seen. Highly recommended! Loved the trip!!
Absolutely terrific day! Amazing crew! We are very lucky to see Bryde’s whales (several times!) bridging and spraying, and pilot whales (numerous times), and dolphins. William (the captain) and Syllian (the skipper) are such lovely people, very knowledge and also caring for marine life. The Yacht is clean and comfy. Sooooo much better than the big catamaran trips or sailing boat ones. We feel safe and engaged. Learned a lot and very relaxed. Can't recommend more. Must do in Tenerife!
Absolutely wonderful boat tour - a really peaceful and relaxing experience and Stylian and William were excellent hosts. Much better than being stuck on a busy, noisy boat with hundreds of people. Highly recommend!
Booked last minute for 2a +2c for a 10am 2hr tour. Wanted a small number on the boat so it wasn’t too busy for my son’s first trip but turned out we were the only ones on the boat. So it was just perfect. The crew were knowledgeable and friendly. They took us out and we found lots of whales. Unfortunately we never saw any dolphins though. They were very thoughtful of the whales and turned the engine off while we took some pictures and we didn’t stay too long with each lot so we didn’t disturb them and then on the way back they stopped and collected any plastic/rubbish in the sea. On this occasion they got a plastic bottle and a fuel canister. There were some tiny crabs inside so they rescued them and put them back in the sea. They also let the children have a go at driving the boat. They had a fab time. Fab morning out.
Watching Pilot Whales....very knowledgeable and passionate guides which contributed to a brilliant trip.
We loved this trip as it was a small boat so we got the chance to ask questions from the very enthusiastic and experienced crew of two. We saw pilot whales and dolphins and got a rare sighting of gannets. Three of our friends decided not to join the trip due to the choppy weather but were refunded their fees promptly.
Excellent trip, the boat takes a small number of people so there is plenty of space to view the wildlife. The captain William and his colleague were very respectful of the wildlife and collected any floating rubbish spotted en route. We had a fantastic sighting of a large pod of pilot whales and William skill in getting us very close with the boats engines turned off to minimise the disruption to the whales was impressive. He also knew the names of some of the whales. One the way back he spotted a turtle and we also had a quite rare sighting of a Portuguese man of war which was beautiful. Highly recommend doing this trip, much better than the larger boats as the crew really appreciate the ecology of the whales.
This trip was a bit traumatic for me as I was terribly sea sick . Just me and I was travelling alone , every one else was fine ! . Despite this I appreciated and enjoyed seeing whales and turtles in a sustainable and ecologically healthy way . They were close to the boat and we were able to view them for a good period of time. No dolphins alas but our expectations on sighting these were managed from the outset . The 2 staff on board were knowledgeable, friendly , enthusiastic, and very kind when I was poorly .
Really friendly and knowledgeable crew who are genuinely interested in the pilot whales. There was plenty of space on the boat.
We had an amazing experience and was fortunate to see pods of Wales with 5 or more members, around 10 to 12 dolphins that are very inquisitive and love to race alongside the boat. And we even saw the top of a hammer head shark. The boat only allows up to 12 people with plenty of room for everyone, making it a far better experience than fighting the crowds on the big boats. The crew of William and Stylian were lovely and very informative. You could tell that the conservation of the marine life is their passion. And to top it all off there is free drinks and fruit. A fabulous experience and one I will look to do again next year.
Amazing experience. Very knowledgeable team who care deeply for the wildlife. Much better than the huge overcrowded boats.
This was a very enjoyable trip. The guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about whales and dolphins. We stayed with a pod of pilot whales for a while, giving us good opportunities to watch and photograph them.
Great experience and very nice staff. Perfectly organized and very knowledgeable team. Sustainable and respectful whale watching company!
Really incredible experience! The fact the whale watchers care so much about the ocean and the animals in it. They knew exactly where to go. Very knowledgeable as well. So glad we booked with them. Saw whales, Dolphins and Turtles.
Great boat very comfortable & you could go to the front of the boat for amazing views and pictures. Staff very friendly & knew alot about the animals. There was free refreshments onboard and fruit too which was a nice extra. Saw some whales & a couple turtles. All in all was worth it.
We spent an informative 2 hours on a small but beautiful boat that was not crowded. The staff were passionate and knowledgeable and had the whales best interests at heart. We never outstayed our time to any pod to limit disturbance. We saw lots of pilot whales, no dolphins but plenty of whales. We even saw a discarded octopus tentacle from a huge deep deep ocean octopus that the pilot whales hadn’t eaten! Apparently these can be up to 8 metres long. Great day, thanks you
Excellent! Small boat, up to 12 people, there were only 6 onboard. The guide was excellent, we got to see dolphins, whales and one turtle. The boat is small which was a big plus for us, but if you tend to get sea sick - maybe a bigger boat would be a good idea.
Great trip and excellent hosts. We saw pilot whales and a pod of Atlantic spotted dolphins. The boat was well equipped - a fab way to spend a couple of hours!
This was an amazing experience. Both the Captain and tour were really helpful. Not only did we see about 15 whales in total and a couple of turtles, we learnt a lot along the way. What really blew me away was how much they wanted to educate us on how much humans are having an impact and they went out of their way to pick up plastic we spotted out in the ocean. They truly believe in sustainability and the health of the ocean (minus the diesel boat of course lol). The whales were a little shy at first, we first spotted males who were away from the main group and dived pretty quickly. The baby whales came right up to the boat though and were really inquisitive . We had 7 passengers on our trip although 2 did not turn up so we had plenty of room and they kept asking if we wanted more drinks which was nice. I would highly encourage you to use these guys if you are planning on going whale and Dolphin watching as they are trying to do things the right sustainable way and they were really eager to answer all our questions.
Such a gorgeous morning! We saw an enormous pod of dolphins (some jumping) a pod of whales and a turtle. Both the guys running it were so lovely to us and our girls, even when our youngest was a little seasick. You could tell they were passionate about sea life and also respectful of the ocean too picking up litter for example. Only two families were booked on so we had lots of space and they let us sit up on the bow and weren’t pedantic with lots of rules like some trips can be. This was one of the highlights of our holiday. Thank you!
