Okay, there are a lot of positive reviews and I understand that everyone is different, but I’m going to give you the truthful pros and cons of this experience as I see them. 1. Cost-wise I think it’s fair. However, the extra 20 euros for pictures throughout wasn’t. Most pics aren’t of you (maybe 2 to 4) and the quality is hit or miss. 2. We were in one kayak and there were 4 other kayaks including the guide. It’s an intimate group, and depending on how fit everyone else is, this will certainly affect your experience. Paddling a kayak for 3 hours is not an easy feat for beginners, so you may have to slow down or speed up depending on how fast everyone else is going. 3. Our guide’s name is Manuel. I cannot begin to express how much I disliked his demeanor and way of speaking. He was the worst part of this experience. First, he would flirt with all the girls directly in front of their partners and even used some questionable language when speaking to a teenage girl with her father present. Secondly, he could not stop talking about himself and how great his life was compared to everyone else’s. He would start a conversation with you (and you’d think he was being kind and trying to get to know you) only to direct it right back to himself and his life every single time. Oh, you work in an office job? I could never do that, my job is much better and more fulfilling. Oh, you live in the city? I could never live in the city, I live here where the weather and nature are so much better. Oh, you’re from this country? I could never live there, it’s too cold, the weather here is much better year-round. We asked him for a place to go out that night (it was a Saturday), and he proceeded to tell us for 5 minutes about how he’s connected to many club owners and big parties, but that he doesn’t go out because he lives a superior lifestyle connected to nature and doesn’t drink alcohol or do anything of that sort because it’s beneath him. Yeah... we weren’t asking about your lifestyle, we were asking for a spot to go to. I swear this guy has zero clue how to speak to people. He was controlling (to an extent I understand needing to be firm and keep the group together and safe, but some of it was ridiculous) and constantly gave arbitrary directions in an aggressive manner, only to then go over the top with niceties, back and forth, back and forth. Condescending one minute, then over-the-top statements to make it look like he was friendly and just a “great guy” looking out for you. While we were snorkeling he wouldn’t stop talking about himself and exaggerating what the group was doing in the water. Nothing about his rules was consistent. One moment he’d tell one person something super harshly, the next he’d act like he had the patience of a saint and everything was chill. Unsettling. The way he spoke to a father with his daughter, just because they were taking a little long to join the group, was unreal. He essentially scolded the father for not turning the way he was instructing him to. At one point Manuel told the group that he doesn’t like being around people at all and prefers to be in the water and nature, only to realize 5 seconds later what he was saying and backpedal by claiming of course he likes the group, he was just talking generally. If you’ve ever dealt with someone like this, you won’t be fooled by the overcompensation for his antisocial remarks, grandiose sense of self, and completely one-sided conversations. THAT BEING SAID, the guy you meet at the shop, Juju I think his name was, was the complete opposite, and it’s a shame he wasn’t the one to take us out on the ocean. Total sweetheart, and positive energy radiated from him every time you spoke to him. 4. This tour is not for beginners or people out of shape. You will be kayaking for 2.5 hours minimum in ocean waves, likely against the wind, and it is no easy feat. If you are looking for a chill kayaking trip, this is not the one. It is taxing to be directly under the sun paddling for almost 3 hours. The snorkeling part, which lasts about 30 minutes, was great and was the only relief from the heat and the intense strain on your arms. Please do not take this lightly. The repeated, unchanging arm movement required to paddle for that long is a real strain, and in extreme cases that kind of overexertion can lead to rhabdomyolysis (a serious condition where damaged muscle breaks down rapidly and can require hospitalization). If you are an experienced kayaker, don’t mind this comment, you likely won’t feel it at all. 5. The location. If you think you are going to be in some natural part of the island with almost no one around, you are wrong. You will be leaving from a very crowded public beach, and throughout the tour you will see lots of industrial things, not just natural scenery. This includes dozens of other people on kayak tours, fish farms, and many boats (some extremely large and full of tourists). There are posts floating in the water along the shoreline and you essentially stay within them, as per Spanish law I believe. 6. After the 3-hour tour, completely exhausted, the owner and the guide made the group pull their kayaks all the way back to the shop, uphill on certain roads. This is pretty ridiculous to ask of tourists who paid 44 euros a head and just finished a physically taxing trip. They should have proper staff to do this. 7. All this being said, we still had an okay time and felt safe throughout. The snorkeling section was definitely the highlight. We got to see a loggerhead turtle right in front of us, plus bottlenose dolphins jumping out of the water about 10 to 20 meters from our kayaks. As an animal fanatic, those moments made the tour WORTH IT overall, despite all the honest feedback above. I think it could have been a lot more enjoyable if it were 2 hours instead of 3, and if the guide had just let the group share about themselves without condescendingly projecting his own views onto you every change he got and making inappropriate comments to women there with their family and partners.

I had the idea of going kayaking in the sea and left seeing hammerhead sharks, dolphins playing and turtles. From the first moment you are greeted and given clear and friendly instructions. Our guide had the perfect balance of ocean joy, helpful guidance and letting the animals speak for themselves. I really recommend this trip even for those who have spent a lot of time on the sea. And great for solo travellers.
what an amazing experience, to get so close to the wild life in their natural habbit. Our guide was very friendly, gave clear instructions and demonstrations. The sea can be very unpredictable however we all felt very safe in the sea with our guide. His knowledge and passion for the sea life was truly amazing. We were very lucky we had 3 dolphins swim towards us and went under the kayaks and even more just a short way off. There was a baby shark that swan parell to us. We also saw a turle. When we were snorkling we saw different coloured fish and then checked what they were when we got back. I would totally recommed going with these guys as we felt like we were getting a personal tour.
The team: great! Those guys are awesome. I didn’t particularly enjoy the views, it is in the industrial area of the beach, not so remote as you would think
Bring suncream! We had the best time! Manuel was our guide and loved being part of his'family'. Manuel took our son with him and he said it was the best time. We saw dolphins, turtles and various fish. One lady in the group saw an eel. Manuel was so calming especially as I was nervous about getting in, but he took time out to talk me through the snorkel and get me comfortable whilst in the water. Would definitely recommend this trip but cover up with suncream as the sun was boiling! Photos and videos sent through WhatsApp so we have a lasting memory. Thanks Manuel and Justice for a fabulous memory.
It was small intimate group with very engaging guide who shared some interesting facts about the island, marine life etc. Even though we were not able to see any dolphins or sharks and had just one quick glimpse at turtles, we absolutely enjoyed the experience nevertheless 😁
Our group was a real challenge — especially for our guide Chris. Honestly, I’d describe us guests as a complete disaster waiting to happen. Some participants’ fitness and paddling skills just weren’t up to the tour - which really should have been doable for anyone… Still, Chris stayed unbelievably upbeat. Even when he had to tow a kayak because the people in it couldn’t paddle on their own anymore, he kept motivating everyone until we all made it back safely. We had a great afternoon — can’t speak for the other participants, but that definitely wasn’t the team’s fault. Anyone booking this tour should honestly ask themselves beforehand whether their fitness level is really enough for a few hours of (relaxed) paddling. Thanks, Chris and team, for your patience and a great afternoon!
This experience was so amazing and the guides were wonderful! Very friendly, informative and talkative. Ask g where we were from and making great conversation. He even pointed out the dolphins and led us right to them for pictures!
Great experience! Saw lots of turtles ❤️ Guide was very patient and fun!
I had the most amazing time that I booked again and went twice in one week! The first time I went with my daughter and Manuel was our guide. As my daughter gets quite seasick, she struggled to paddle and therefore we were not able to paddle as fast as the rest of the group, but Manual ensured we all stayed together and did not get left behind. Despite her feeling very unwell she still describes the experience as amazing, particularly as we were able to see many dolphins in the wild up close. We also saw other marine wildlife whilst snorkelling, including a stingray which was amazing! I booked to go again a few days later and this time I went by myself. I was told that I could either go in a kayak with another solo visitor or I could go with the guide - who was Chris on this trip - which I was fine with. On this trip we also saw dolphins, and we were also fortunate enough to see several loggerhead turtles, one being mere meters away from my kayak! Knowing that I had come along a few days before, Chris kindly suggested we go to a different snorkelling location which was just as beautiful as the place we went to before but it was nice to see things from a different perspective One of the selling points for me before going on the trip was that it was advertised as small-group kayaking. On both occasions, our groups consisted of less than 10 people, and the experiences felt much more personal than what I would expect in a large group trip. The guides would tell us things as a group, as well as individually and were able to cater to our own individual experiences, which was so lovely. I saw other much larger kayaking groups whilst we we on our trip and I think I would’ve felt very overwhelmed being in groups of such sizes. Things to consider: - This trip does require you to have a relative level of fitness. Although I am active and physically fit in my day to day life, I found the first trip with my daughter particularly difficult as I had to paddle the kayak mostly by myself. The second trip with another person who could paddle was much easier. - You are able to take things aboard the kayak at your own risk. I was provided with a water bag and was warned this wouldn’t keep my things completely dry but it was to provide them with a safe space aboard the kayak My advice: - If you are someone who suffers with motion sickness, take medication beforehand if you can. - If you want to take your phone, buy a waterproof case beforehand - ideally one that floats in the unlikely case it drops into the ocean. - If you enjoy free-diving or just simply want to see more on your trip, I think it is worth taking flippers. Whilst googles, a snorkel and a life jacket are provided, flippers are not. I took my flippers on the second trip so I could swim deeper during the snorkelling part of the trip, and the guide was also able to get some really cool pictures and videos! - Photos are taken throughout the trip which cost €20 for you to receive digitally. In my opinion, it is well worth paying for as the photos I took myself were no where near as good as the ones taken by the guides. On both occasions, I received the photos within 24 hours of the trip. Overall, the experience was amazing and I would 100% recommend to anyone thinking of booking! I will definitely book again when I come back to Tenerife!
Great trip, saw what they said we’d see, Chris the guide was superb, thanks for borrowing your snorkel :)
Chris was excellent! We saw dolphins, hammerhead shark, turtles and octopus. Fantastic day. It was quite physically demanding as we were going against the wind but well worth it.
Me and my son booked this trip a week in advance and we were both very excited for the trip. My son loves snorkling and ocean life. We were hoping to see dolphins, and boy, were our expectations met! We saw two dolphin-families jumping out the water and a hammerhead shark! On the downside; for me personally, I get seasick... I got seasick as expected but our guide Manuel was amazing! He took care of me and my son all the way back making sure we were ok 😁 5/5 for Manuel and 5/5 for the Trip!!!
Superb experience from a fantastic team. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and we felt as though we were in safe capable hands. Would definitely be booking again with this company next time we visit. Chris is a legend of a guide.
A magical experience, all the staff were great and especially Chris our tour guide was amazing! Everything was explained super clearly beforehand, we saw dolphins and they came super close it was like nothing I have ever experienced before. It was a small intimate group which we loved too. 10/10 would defo recommend.
Great experience we both really enjoyed, the tour guide was great and had some really interesting facts. We got to see some dolphins swimming really close to the kayak. Since the group was smaller we had a more private experience and felt like we got to learn more about the area. Looking forward to get the pictures through!!
Fun Trip with a great guide (chris) but the whole team is super friendy! After a small introduction and explanation to the kajaks and the route we began rowing. Saw a seaturtle and plenty of fish in the snorkeling spot. Unfortunately no dolphins or whales but i didn‘t expect to see that anyways. The kajak-trip is a cool experience in itself and for 35 bucks it‘s really not expensive! Fully recommend
Excellent experience from start to finish. Meeting at the office and a short walk to beach . All staff were friendly, enthusiastic and informative. Chris ,our guide for the trip, was attentive throughout . We were so lucky to experience a pod of dolphins passing metres from our group of kayaks. (Captured on film by Chris). Would definitely recommend the trip and its staff.
Great energy, professional and encouraging from the whole team. We were a party of two adults and two kids 9 & 10. We had two separate kayaks and thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip. Didn’t get to see turtles but the dolphins definitely made up for it. The came close, they jumped and even swam under the kayaks! The snorkelling was very enjoyable too, we got to see lots of sea-life just off the cliffs. While we would not have been an experienced group, both the kayaking and snorkelling was taken in our stride and at our own pace. I would recommend this trip as a must do in Los Cristianos. Thanks guys
Excellent trip up close with dolphins swimming around the kayaks fantastic snorkeling and our guides were very knowledgeable amazing time 🙏👍
Fantastic experience for the whole family! We went as a family of 4 with 10 years old kids. The team rang us beforehand to ask wether we'd prefer two or one kayaks to make sure we're comfortable. The staff in the shop is very welcoming and helpful, don't worry if you forget a towel or hat, or literally anything - they'll help you out with no problem. Manuel was our guide and he was amazing! Before we set off he gave us full safety briefing and he was making sure throughout that everyone is safe and happy, he also told us lots of interesting facts about the area and gave some good recommendations. We saw dolphins on our way and lots of colourful fish while snorkeling. It's also great that there are pictures available to purchase from the trip for a small price. You don't need to worry about taking your camera or mess about with your phone. Absolutely fabulous experience! Overall the team is fantastic, very nice and helpful. 100% recommend it!
I really enjoyable experience for me and my 10 year old son. A very chilled and personal trip paddling out to sea and we saw dolphins and turtles in there natural environment.
We had a lovely experience we saw lots of fish and Dolphins, Manuel was a lovely guide I cannot recommend this trip enough. These lads were so sound and couldn't do enough for us.
Shout out to Manuel for being resposible, positive and experienced tour guide! It was unforgetable experience in the ocen. Kayaking and snorkeling there - big reccomendation🤿
Excellent guide and equipment to make you feel safe and get maximum enjoyment. But need a degree of upper body strength to get in a kayak. If you don’t have the strength to get out the deep end of a pool go for the kayak and don’t snorkel! Lovely afternoon on the sea.
What a great adventure. All equipment provided, safety was a priority and Manuel our kayak host and guide was such fun and had loads of knowledge! All the staff at the office and facilities were great. Highly recommend. Thanks for a superb trip!
Great group of people working there, they made the whole experience 10/10. The kayaking and snorking itself was brilliant, definitely recommend.
We booked the 10:00 am kayak and snorkeling tour to avoid the stronger UV in the afternoon. We arrived at 9:45 by taxi, which dropped us just a short walk from the meeting point. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Justas Vaidogas. He explained that the kayaks were being brought to the beach and that we could relax until departure. He recommended bringing one bottle of water per person, and if you forget, a supermarket is only 400 meters away. Belongings can be stored safely in the basement changing area, which is reassuring. The changing space itself is basic, with blankets serving as partitions that hang half-open, so privacy is limited unless you have someone to assist you. Before setting off, we were given a life jacket, snorkel, mask, and a waterproof bag that clips to the kayak (highly recommended). We also received straps for sunglasses or glasses. I brought my own prescription mask, but they did not have a compatible snorkel for it, so nearsighted guests should plan ahead. After a short walk to the beach, we received a clear safety briefing. Soon after, we were paddling alongside turtles and dolphins, always at a respectful distance. We continued to a snorkeling area near the cliffs, where the water is shallower. This spot is popular with other tour companies, so it was quite busy, and I would have enjoyed hearing more from the guide about the marine life we encountered. Tip: seawater is salty, so keep some drinking water handy to rinse your mouth if needed. The return paddle was refreshing, and the guide took excellent photos and videos during the trip. They cost €20, but the quality was high and it allowed us to enjoy the tour without worrying about taking our own pictures. Conclusion: A well-organized and memorable experience with friendly guidance and beautiful wildlife sightings. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an active yet relaxed ocean adventure.
Absolutely amazing experience. Being a small group meant you really get to know the guide and makes for a much more personal experience. Good introduction from Juju and made our kids settled and exited for the water. Manuel our guide was very respectful and knowledgeable of the wildlife (we saw turtles). It was our kids 13, 10 & 7 first experience of kayaking and snorkelling and they really enjoyed it, partly due to Manuel being very good with them, especially when our 7yo got a little scared. Overall a very wholesome and memorable experience. Family highlight from our holiday.
Great guys as guides, really looked after our 10 and 13 year old with care and a great sense of humour. Dolphins were incredible and brilliant kayaking and snorkeling experience. Little chilli on the day and the waves a little lively so if anyone suffers with sea sickness, take some tablets. For the colder, cloudy days, consider long sleeve tops. Our guide offered his t-shirt; what a guy 🤟
Perfect trip out. Great customer service and we saw the dolphins. We ended being slightly late due to traffic but not a problem. Cheers guys 👍
What a blast we had! Personalised activity with being a family of 6 with young children, this is a huge difference than a large group of people. Time taken to explain the wildlife and the area. Juju was very friendly and enthusiastic, keeping us all going to get to the final point despite the struggles along the way. Thank you again for giving our family memories to treasure for a lifetime. Highly recommend!
Justas and Manuel are very friendly and make you feel welcome! We ran through a safety briefing and then kayaked to a snorkelling spot where you can see turtles and fish. The groups are small, and everyone is looked after, and you are not rushed. They are respectful of the wildlife and will educate you about the fish farms and some viewpoints/landmarks. Thank you for a lovely morning and good luck in the future :)
The trip was well organised you felt safe at all times and the guide was well informed. Highly recomended will use them again .
Very nice, young team that you can tell enjoys their work. Competent and attentive.
A fantastic experience!! A friend and I decided to go snorkeling, where in addition to practicing that activity, we observed numerous turtles, dolphins, and hammerhead sharks. The guides were very approachable and explained everything that was happening in detail! Cracks!
Friendly guide and good equipment. You sail to the fish farms to see dolphins, turtles, and sharks. We spotted them all.
Very good experience! We had Chris as a guide and his treatment was excellent from the moment we arrived at the meeting point until our return. Super friendly, kind, and professional. They explained to us how to do it and the moments when we would stop to see the marine wildlife. We were lucky and were able to see many dolphins, even a baby one!! Also turtles and hammerhead sharks. On the way back, my partner and I were very tired and dizzy, and Chris helped us by tying his kayak to ours. An experience highly recommended, especially with these guys!! They recommended places for us to eat and told us that we could write to them if we had any questions after the kayak. Thank you very much for making this day an unforgettable adventure!!! :)
Kayak excursion in a small group of 10 people. Very attentive and warm team: loan of shoes, hat, water, etc. We were able to see turtles and caught a glimpse of dolphins near the fish farming areas. Very good afternoon at sea!
Everything super neatly arranged and really nice experience
Very beautiful experience, lucky to have encountered turtles and a hammerhead shark Our guide was the best!!! I highly recommend it ✨
My 16-year-old son and I did the activity on our last day of the trip in Tenerife and it has left us with a nice memory to close our trip. Thank you Inma for your welcome and Chris for making us enjoy the experience. It was worth it, the kayak trip and snorkeling. We were able to see dolphins and turtles and many little fish. Highly recommended. Great professionals. Thank you
The owner Inma is a very nice girl, she was attentive to us the whole time and recommended many things to us afterward. The instructor Chris was also super friendly, he was learning Spanish but he managed very well with the language and was very good at diving, very entertaining to repeat with them.
Very good experience. The guide was very nice and treated us very well. Highly recommended
My 13-year-old son and I were taken around by Chris, a very nice Irishman with contagious enthusiasm. The kayak trip went well; we had good visibility and optimal weather conditions. We saw dolphins from a distance and a couple of turtles. The most beautiful part was snorkeling along the way; the spot chosen by Chris was excellent and we saw many wonderful fish. Highly recommended experience with these guys. The only note I have is that only English was spoken, so my son didn't understand everything about the explanations of the marine life, but it was worth it. Super!
Super fun, well organized family activity! We had a fantastic morning on the water yesterday. The guidance was very professional and the outing was top organized. It was great that we could do this with the whole family. Along the way we met dolphins that we have been able to admire up close from the kayak! Then we all went into the water together for snorkeling, where we saw beautiful fish. Truly a magical experience and a top memory for the four of us!
Both the girl who assisted us at the venue and the guide who took us were super friendly. It is a 100% recommended experience. We saw several dolphins and turtles. Additionally, this experience respects the environment and marine wildlife.
The enthusiastic supervisors Justas and Manuel made sure this was an unforgettable experience. The dolphins swam under our kayak and also saw a sea turtle😀the group is small so it is a kind of private tour.
The tour itself was great, seeing dolphins and turtles, as well as various fish species snorkeling. Guide was friendly and helpful, took photos of everyone and made sure not to bother the animals. The only drawback was that we went parallel to other kayak groups (about 20 kayaks in total), so the whole thing was a bit mass tourism. Nevertheless recommended.
