Tenerife Whale Watching Catamaran Cruise With Transfer And Buffet

Amazing experience. Nice small group with a great relaxing atmosphere and a great crew.

Well organised. Prompt pick up from hotel. Buffet was varied and tasty. Good range of drinks. Saw dolphins and whales. Excellent.

The transfer is only in Adeje area and not from other areas around. Had to pay extra for bus to get to Adeje (from Los Gigantes) did not know in advance. For tapas I would have expected more for this pice (and may not mixed pickles for example) Tourguides on the boat did not said anything about the trip just managed the boad and snacks. After all a bit pricey for 63€ but we had a good time and enjoyed it as everyone was friendly and relaxed.

After a slow start. The pick up was a little late. Arrived at the port, didn't get told where to go. But other than this, this was a very very good experience. We saw beautiful whale's and dolphins in the ocean, and had swim in the deep clear blue sea. Drinks flowed and the other guests were friendly. The crew was friendly polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Knowledgeable crew, and so magical to see pilot whales and dolphins! Food was lovely, with unlimited drinks too! Husband enjoyed his dip in the sea at the end. Pick up and drop off from our hotel. Was all so easy. Thank you so much for a magical experience, well worth the money.

Absolutely amazing boat trip! Would highly recommend to anyone! We saw a turtle and lots of pilot whales and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The boat wasn’t too busy, there was only about 20 people on there. Drinks and food were lovely too! The BEST boat trip we’ve been on. We all loved it, thank you so much to all of the team we’ve had a lovely day out 😊❤️

Lovely trip, saw whales & dolphins. Staff were lovely and the boat was a great size. If you get a little seasick take some pills, it does get a little choppy. Would def do again when next back in Tenerife.

It was a great experience! All the staff was so friendly. Getting the see the whales at such a close distance was a highlight of our vacation. I also enjoyed the chance to swim during the tour

We saw dolphins and whales on this trip. Very good fun and lasted a long time. Later swam in the bay then taken back to the port.

Great trip saw lots of pilot whales but nothing else. No turtles. Tapas and drinks were good but the boat was so choppy we could hardly stand up and move from bottom deck into the toilet.

We had an amazing time, the pick up was punctual, the crew were very helpful , we saw whales and dolphins in a very relaxed situation, had some light snacks and an amazing swim, though sea is a bit cold for the kids. We were a party of 8 and we enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you

Amazing experience! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even offer a free transfer, which is a great bonus. They really go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. One thing I really appreciated is that they don’t overcrowd the place, they genuinely care about everyone having a relaxing and enjoyable time rather than just fitting in as many people as possible. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing tour! We booked this fairly last minute and got a call to ask if we could move, unfortunately we had other things booked so couldn’t. They said if no one else booked they would cancel. We were very disappointed, they contacted us 2 hours later to say confirm our pick up time. We were transferred to the port and advised the boat was running slightly late, however it was worth the wait as no one else had booked in and we were the only family on the boat! What an experience, the team spoke us through what would happen and that we would head out and see if we could spot come whales then we would head back into near land and have some lunch then head back out. Cannot fault the company at all, we seen pilot whales, dolphins and turtles! Everyone then swam in the sea and had some small fish round the kids as they were swimming, core memories made for my children for life! Amazing crew, superb knowledge and we were dropped back off at our hotel afterwards. The team really looked after us, and helped cater for my daughter who has additional needs. A huge thank you from our little family - memories to last a lifetime!

Was a fab day well organised and great staff boat . Not over crowded , clean and great tapas lunch and transfer from hotel on time .

This is a fantastic experience. Being able to see dolphins play in real life was incredible. Another thing I loved was how genuinely passionate the staff were at seeing these creatures again for what must be the 100th time ore more. They provided knowledge about dolphins and whales we didn't know and really looked after us. I will 100% do this again on our next visit to tenerife, I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Excellent trip, we were lucky to see dolphins, pilot whales and a turtle. Friendly crew who shared their knowledge of the marine life. Good communication regarding pick up times.

Trip got cancelled an hour before pick up time. Apparently due to bad weather but it was sunny day with gentle breeze and we saw all other providers and even kayaks around. We were gutted we could not go. I belive it was cancelled for no good reason, too sensitive precaution. Refund issued with no problems.

This is the third time I have been on the Monte Cristo and it will not be the last. The crew were excellent and helped make the experience even better. We saw whales and dolphins very close by which is always tremendous. The food and cava were also very good and we enjoyed the swimming spot in a bay. Coming here again with my eldest daughter in September and I will book again. Thank you 5 star

Boat was perfect, 24 people and not overcrowded. facilities, food, drink was good. THe staff were very friendly and informative and couldn't do enough for you. I have been on many boat trips in tenerife and they are too crowded and hard to eat, drink and go to toilet. This was a perfect trip. Highly recommend. I was with 7 year old daughter, mother and friend.

Excellent experience. We seen many animals. Whales and dolphins. The crew was very nice and great at explaining everything. There was time to go swimming after everyone seen the wildlife as well. It was as advertised and more.

Did this trip yesterday 15th January departing 1.00pm. Absolutely loved our day out can honestly say the best boat trip. Only 20 passengers allowed. The staff were brilliant and very knowledgable on the marine life. The tapas buffet was absolutely delicious. Cava beers and soft drinks as much or as little as you wanted. Great experience. Highly highly recommend so much better than the other boats which take out 150 people squashed in.

If going at night take something warm to wear and possible to get wet. Loved ever moment and got to see 2 different pods of pilot wales. Amazing

Transfer was on time. Catamaran was nice. Hardly saw the crew. Saw no whales. Saw no dolphins. Saw 5 flying fish. Can't be helped, but a bit dull with no sightings.

A great day out well worth the money. Great staff too. We were picked up and dropped off at our accommodation which was a bonus. All your drinks were included and a nice buffet.

I must start with, what a great day trip this was. We were picked up from our hotel for the short drive to the harbour where we boarded the Monte Cristo Cat you must remember nature is on its own clock but with a great crew and captain we had very close encounters with the Dolphins and the Pilot Whales, the food was great and the drinks flowed, an unforgettable day out with the The Monte Cristo team, thank you Best reference would be….we would definitely do this trip again next time we come back.

Booked it late through trip advisor and was messaged quickly to arrange pick up time, Efficient pick up and good boat trip seeing pilot whales and dolphins with a 45 minute swim stop and some finger food, drinks plenty full and good knowledgeable crew on board. Boat wasn’t full capacity 16 vs 24 when full so plenty of room to move around and take pictures of the whales, might be different if boat is full. We booked the morning 3 hour trip which suited us because we didn’t need to go back to the hotel and chose to explore for when the boat docked in Costa Adeje.

Transfer from hotel, saw whales, nice swim, tasty tapas, polite and helpful crew. Well worth the money.

We had such a great time. Saw lots of whales!! The staff were great from start to finish. They were really attentive and made sure we all had drinks. They were really informative and I feel they really want you to see whales and move to different locations. You have the opportunity to have a swim in the sea and the food was delicious. You see other boats with people crammed in and having to peer over others to see the whales. This felt more exclusive as the boat is spacious and not over populated. It was good value for money and we had a brilliant 3 hours.

A great trip, with very helpful and kind staff! We saw a lot of whales (including calves) and it was good to know that it was ethical and not chasing them or making them uncomfortable. The food was good with vegetarian options. Drinks were also very nice. The boat itself was very nice and not too rocky. We didn’t get to see any dolphins but that didn’t disappoint us due to the number of whales that we saw.

Amazing trip from start to finish. We were picked up in brand new air-conditioned transit minibus. The female driver was bubbly and friendly. The boat itself was amazing. Plenty of space both inside and out. The captain was extremely knowledgeable and once we found a pod of Pilot Whales he proceeded to give us a lot of information about them and answered questions. The food was a plate of tapas - cold meats, Spanish omelette, humous, veggies. Etc. it was plentiful and good quality. Drinks were served you could help yourself and were very chilled. We had a brief stop for a swim and a snorkel before heading back to harbour and a return trip in another new minibus. There were no more than 20 passengers (I didn’t do a headcount) but certainly not crowded. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone coming to Tenerife. Thanks guys for a memorable day.

This was a fantastic experience. The crew and pick-up driver were very helpful right from the start and the catamaran was a great way to travel. We saw a lot of Pilot Whales with some swimming underneath the boat. The buffet was really nice and I enjoyed the snorkelling. Highly recommended.

Really perfect afternoon out at sea. Picked up from hotel in a nice air conditioned vehicle, drinks served to you whilst seated on the boat, soft drinks, water, beer, wine or cava. Stopped for people to swim and had tapas for lunch it's worth every penny. Didn't see dolphins but saw plenty of pilot whales and a couple of turtles.

Time of my life treated like a VIP all day couldn't fault anything again lovely experience seeing the Pilot whales again going back to Tenerife later in the year taking my friends on the same ship with same crew outstanding service

Great trip ! Saw Whales & Dolphins & swam in the sea near a private cove. Staff were providing cava & other wines & drinks constantly & food was great. Would highly recommend this trip !!

Was a lovely day overall. Pick up was on time. Short wait for the boat to arrive an then sailed out to open waters to look for pilot whales. After some time searching the area we managed to find a small pod as they live in the area all year round. The staff was very friendly and continuous offers of refreshments and also very Informative of the whales and the general area. After maybe 30 mins to observes whales a get some videos etc. we then sailed close to the shore to a small bay and we was allowed 30 mins to eat small tapas plates prepared and to swim a little behind the boat. After that sailed back to the port and was dropped off. Recommend sea sickness tablets 30-45 mins before departure.. as moving around the boat whilst trying to film can be nauseating.

Fantastic boat trip. I would definitely recommend it. Pick up from a local hotel was on time, staff all lovely on board the catamaran, plenty of drinks to choose from and tapas served. We saw lots of pilot whales and dolphins, they came so close to the boat. There were only around 20 people on the boat so we could move around the boat perfectly. There was also a toilet on board. We booked the trip seamlessy through trip advisor and got a message within half an hour of booking to confirm the Pick up time. My only tip would be to take some sea sickness tablets before your trip. You can purchase them from the pharmacy in Tenerife for around 5 Euros. I'm so glad I read the reviews on here advising to take them as there were people feeling unwell and being sick on the boat.

Amazing Day out, with one of the baby pilots approaching the boat directly in front of us, the pick up, drop off and boat team ensure you will have a great experience. Worth every cent you pay and true value for money.

It was another great experience. We have taken this trip with 3 different companies over the past years and this one is definitely the best. Great service and professional crew. Captain Andres is the best we have ever had. Everytime we sail with him we see many pilot whales and almost every time dolphins.

Excellent tour. We were excited to see whales but unfortunately no dolphins. Boat was spacious & comfy. Great team on board. Warning - got really cold on the sunset tour so do take layers although blankets were available.

Amazing experience and great service! One of the best things we did whilst on holiday in Tenerife. We got to see pilot whales very close up and were very lucky to see two different types of dolphin ( striped and common). The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. I'd highly recommend to anyone visiting Tenerife.

Such a fabulous trip. We asked for a pickup from our Hotel and it was so well organised. The trip itself was brilliant we saw lots and lots of pilot whales and dolphins. The staff were also very attentive and really looked after us and the food and drink was excellent. Overall it was such good value for money. Would book the trip again.

Saw pods of pilot whales within a few feet of the boat, the skipper and crew were very knowledgeable and clearly have great respect for these amazing mammals, great trip and would thoroughly recommend booking

Very special, saw lots of dolphins (not necessarily around at this time of year) and pilot whales before mooring up to have a nice lunch and a swim (for the braver amongst us). We were about 19 or 20 people but even with the full compliment of 24 passengers it wouldn't feel crowded.

Great trip. Free flowing drinks lovely.simple buffet. Plenty of room on the boat as they take small group. We saw lots of pilot whales and enjoyed a swim. I would recommend if you want a half day trip.
