This was a fantastic trip and very informative. I would definitely say take warm clothes with you. We would definitely do it again.

We loved watching the sunset above the sea of clouds with a glass of Cava. It was magical watching the stars come out - don't underestimate how cold it will be - the company do supply warm coats if you haven't got enough layers on 😊
Tour was great only for 2 things our bus broke down half way up the mountain and we had to wait 45 mins for new one i understand these things happen and it didnt spoil the trip the guides were very good the stars were amazing but the biggest disapointing thing was the photo that we never got we were really looking forward to it such a pity all the way to the top and no photo
Great chance to see the Milky way close to Mount Teide when you are not willing to make the trip during the dark with your rental car.
Fantastic experience. Easy pick up. Daniele the guide was great, very knowledgeable about Tenerife as well as the star gazing aspect. The cava at sunset was lovely then up a bit further for the stargazing. Very special experience, and the small group was definitely worth the money…
We started off by being picked up from our accommodation it was a small group of 8 people on the minibus and we stopped to watch the sunset with a glass or 2 of bubbly had plenty of time walking around taking in the view which was incredible to see then we all gathered together when the sun went down and drove further up to another spot and OMG what a sight You can see the milkyway with your own eyes and the guides were very knowledgeable of the night sky the had two dobsonian 🔭 and the opportunity to see galaxies and planets in the solar system and much more. Please read instructions that's provided and it's all plain sailing and I highly recommend this trip. 👍🏻🙌
Amazing experience. Unique. Roland was fantastic. Really well worth it. Fantastic. Jane and Michael. X
Sadly the trip had to be cancelled two hours before the start because of the effects of the Calima. It was the right decision. Communication of this was excellent and several options were given to cancel with full refund or reschedule. We chose refund and the money was returned to us within a few days. I would happily book with them again
Unfortunately we couldn't join the tour as they only told us after we had paid the details. Such as there are no toilets/restrooms. They advised to relief yourself in the woods which we were not happy to do. Be warned.
Did this back in June. A ton of stars to look at. Heard interesting stories about stars and tenerife. Pick-up was on time just as communicated. On the way back, another guest from the Netherlands started chatting with the driver/guide about how immigration is ruining the europe, and how the white people are actually most discriminated…?? And they clicked and kept talking about it. Which i found hard to fathom . I mean, everyone is entitled to their own opinions and political views. But, It just so happens that i already told them earlier that I am a non-white non-european currently living and working in Europe. So…. that was uncomfortable. That last bit of hotel dropoff ruined the whole impression.
It is very well organised. Very interesting and entertaining. Had plenty of time using the telescopes as it is a much smaller group. Our guide Roland and another guide Phil were very knowledgeable and kept us engaged with witty banter and fun stories. We were collected and dropped off at our hotel. There was a glass of Cava offered at sunset and a fantastic photo taken under the stars that was sent to us the following day. I cannot recommend this vip trip highly enough. Thank you Roland and Phil for the best night out in Tenerife
I'm a university student studying astrophysics, and I can't recommend this trip enough! I've been on one other stargazing trip up Mt Teide, and of the two, this was by far the best. The guides, Phil and Jaime were friendly, personable and knowledgeable. The transport to the viewing points was fast and comfortable. The guides were able to help with any questions, and we're willing to help me set up my own camera telescope in addition to their own! For the experience you get, the price is very reasonable, and the small group sizes making it a more relaxing experience and calm atmosphere. The trip wasn't excessively long either, lasting around 5 hours from the pickup, though expect last nights - it's difficult to see the stars at day after all! Will definitely be doing this trip again when I come back out here in the future!
From pick up to drop off this was outstanding. Really good communication. Friendly guides and just once in a lifetime moments everywhere you looked. My whole family loved it, ages from 8. We've done most of the 'top things to do' in Tenerife this holiday but this was on a different level.
Fantastic from start to finish, highly recommended. Definitely chose this small group option 😊 Guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and great fun. The small group meant we all had opportunity to use the telescope and could easily ask questions/ hear the information. Sunset was stunning and the stars breathtaking.
The whole experience was amazing and completely worth it for the price and admission fees. The guides were exceptionally knowledgeable about astronomy and astrology alongside astrophysics, so if your interested in that i would one hundred percent recommend. The VIP tour with a smaller crowd size makes it even better as you can ask questions and have a more interactive tour without feeling overwhelmed or discarded by the crowd size. The length of the visit wasn't too long or too short, allowing you to see the ethereal views of the stars and planets without feeling like you didn't have enough time which also prevented you from getting bored. The staff were so attentive and again knowledgeable with a clear passion for the experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience as it is worth every penny! My family and i had an amazing time.
Absolutely great value for money. Jaime is a fantastic guy, very knowledgeable and had some great ideas for other trips whilst visiting and very friendly This is a must do while in Tenerife. Both Jaime and Phil were very friendly and knowledgeable. Good see so much beyond what you would normally see.
Its an amazing experience. My wife, son (7), and I loved every minute. Some moments were surreal. The team are super knowledgably and friendly. They arent lying when they say they take you to a private place. You will drive past other locations where there are lots of people. I promise you wont regret it. We will go back to Tenerife just for stargazing with this team in the future. Communication is great, they whatsapp all the information on pickup times, respond quickly to questions etc Our only down side was the journey up. The roads are very windy/bendy which can make you nauseous. I just wish they had AC vents in the van for each row of seats. Thankfully noone threw up but our tummies didnt feel great going up. Maybe dont eat heavy or cheesy food before the trip :)
This trip was amazing! A stunning sunset, the Milky way, planets, constellations, satellites, a twinkling symposium of stars... that when you get back to sea-level highlights what little of the night sky you really see. Phil & James were so enthusiastic and knowledgable of astronomy it made the trip special. And due to the small group c 15 between the 2 guides were very attentive. A marriage proposal by 2 of the guests at sun-down... gave the night an extra twinkle! Will definitely do this trip again when I'm back in Tenerife. Thanks for a fantastic experience, Phil and ticking the Milky Way on my bucket list!
Highly recommend this fantastic tour. It was amazing from start to finish. Very knowledgeable and friendly guides and being in a small group meant plenty of time to use the telescopes. The sunset views were fabulous.
It was a great experience with pick-up and drop-off on a minibus. Both sunset and stargazing spots were relatively quieter compared to other spots. The view at sunset was absolutely breathtaking. The guides are knowledgable and between the 2 small groups we had 2 telescopes so everyone had plenty of chances to look through it. We would highly recommend.
Pick up was well organised and on time. Communication via Whatsapp was excellent. Our guide, Phil, welcomed us and was chatty and knowledgable through the whole trip. Sunset with wine was exceptional. Star gazing with Phil and James(Ragnarok) was amazing. They both shared so much information and helped to take photos through the telescopes. Groups were small and intimate. Would definately book again.
Excellent sunset and stargazing trip. Sunset above the clouds was a beautiful experience and the stargazing was fascinating, the tour guides were very informative
Had a great time stargazing. The transport arrived perfectly on time. The guide was friendly and helpful, telling us where and what we would see. Although when we left our hotel it was cloudy, we drove above the clouds where it was perfectly clear. We saw more than we expected to see. It was very well worth it and so pleased we did it.
We had a great VIP sunset and stargazing experience thanks to Phil and James. Both very knowledgeable and they made the whole trip really worthwhile and fun. Plenty of time to watch the sunset with a cool drink, and also lots of time when using the telescopes between the relatively small group of us. Great service being collected and dropped off at our residence, and we also got a professional-finish photograph. In addition, we had great communication in preparation for the experience. All-in-all, great value. Thank you!

Roland was an engaging and enthusiastic host - lovely small group and great equipment. Good locations for both the stargazing and sunset.
Excellent experience stargazing in small groups with friendly guides Phil & Dani
Great trip, picked up on time, Phil and Daniel great people. Views absolutely stunning. Would highly recommend.
Incredible! Peter and Ronaldo are not just knowledgeable but great fun as well! A much better tour to do than the big coaches, being in a small group meant we all had loads of time with the telescopes. Would recommend to anyone
Dani picked us up promptly from our hotel in a small comfortable coach. We met with 2 other small groups and went to a great viewing area to watch a spectacular sunset with a glass of fizz. Then our knowledgeable and really interesting guides took us higher to do some stargazing. They had three big telescopes and we got to see lots of celestial bodies and the group was a nice size so everyone got plenty of turns. Complimentary photos were included. Be prepared for an alfresco loo visit if need be! Highly recommended.
Great experience. Be sure to wrap up as temperatures plummet while stargazing. The sunset experience is serene.
It was a fun time. A little rushed as our driver was late but made the sunset in time. You then move to another location where they set up telescopes (3) so plenty of opportunities to view stars. They rotate telescopes around 8 times to show various planets, etc. 1 person does the narrative and there are tablets showing what you should see which helped
A Great family experience We had lovely guide called Roland, he was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour as well as being a very good communicator. Highly recommended
It was definitely worth paying for a small tour. We were picked up from the hotel at 6 and back by 10. We didn't want to spend hours collecting people and a small tour meant we didn't do this. Definitely recommend this. Our driver/ guide Roland was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. As it was a small tour there was no queuing to look through telescopes - perfect! It was extremely cold so make sure you go prepared for the cold!
Daniele and the team were great !! They explained us everything, the sunset was breathtaking, and the stargazing was ... wow!! Despite the amazing and bright moon we were able to see different constellations, and a PLANET!!!! They were funny and really well prepared. The pictures at the end were so cute, just an amazing memory of this fantastic tour. Thank you very much .
Very well organized and tour guides were very friendly and professional. Group size was good and everyone had plenty of time to watch and take pictures through the telescopes. Tour guides also helped with taking photos since it was quite tricky to take a good photo.
Trip Advisor asked me to rate this, even though the operator had notified me in the morning of the tour that the tour couldn't go ahead due to a yellow weather warning for wind (not their fault at all, and nice to know they are taking health and safety responsible). Trip advisor even set me the full refund. Trip advisor you need to sort this auto system out
Stopped at a lower lookout point for the sunset Then went to 6000ft it was a full moon and some clouds so stars not all that visible The tour guides were excellent All in all nice just wish we had a clearer night
Very knowledgeable guides. Two small buses with 7 and 8 people respectively. It was a very good experience
It was truly thrilling to see so many stars and celestial objects—such a completely different experience under a dark sky. Viewing Saturn and its rings through the telescope was unforgettable. Another highlight was seeing the Milky Way for the first time in around 25 years, a reminder of just how much light pollution we have at home and on my past holidays. Our driver, Phil, and the two guides were enthusiastic and knowledgeable, sharing a wealth of fascinating information about the night sky. To top it all off, we received a wonderful surprise photo of my husband beneath a sky full of glittering stars—a perfect memento of the trip. Take the company’s advice and wrap up warm! Many thanks.
Was excellent to be collected from our hotel and was very handy having the coats provided as it was cold. We had cava watching sunset. The actual star gazing was very poor, poor visibility due to cloud and bright moon, but we have seen more stars in the UK on an average day. We were very disappointed. Also it’s located in a small car park so trees and cars can get in the way. The guides were lovely but the experience very poor.
Please read my review and think twice before to book it. I think is a great experience unfortunately the service is terrible Stephen Phelps the owner, I guess, had a terrible organization and attitude. He changed the time and place of meeting point, the same day in the morning. He wrote me a message in the app and instead of writing me the changes he just wrote "call me urgently "( not even good morning) I couldn't call him cause I had problems with my SiM Card but I arrived to the meeting point 15 minutes early. My "Mistake" was that I miss one number of my phone in the booking but why he didn't write the message in the app. He was saying that I was not reachable but come on he wrote me a message!!! After discussing with him he didn't accept the fault and I even negotiate a half reimbursement and of course he didn't accepted. Of course to charge the money never a problem. I made 100 of tours and I never had this bad experience, totally bad organizer normally I use get your guide ( highly recommended). I hope this review helps to all of you who come with efforts (time/money) and expecting good time and nice people. Tenerife and local people are great, come and visit but before to book great experiences read the reviews.
Excellent stargazing experience. Our guide Phil did a fantastic job with our group. We watched the sun set from a beautiful viewpoint, and then set up professional telescopes at a roadside location to observe the stars. The guides were knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and entertaining. Would strongly recommend!
Excellent trip and worth doing. Short trip from the city up to the mountains. Beautiful scenery the whole way. Our guide Roland is very friendly, and knowledgeable. We were guided through the beauty of the night sky. They have impressive telescopes and it’s amazing to see what is feeding back to us. I also couldn’t believe how detailed the pictures were from iPhones with the right settings. Definitely recommend!
If you want to see the stars in Tenerife, this company should be NUMBER 1 on your list of things to book! We had booked the VIP tour before our holiday to Tenerife and were hoping for a chance to see the night sky. There was excellent communication prior to the date, and in fact on the date the skies were cloudy-however Stargazing Tenerife very helpfully offered for us to select a different date...and this time we were lucky! We were collected from our hotel in a comfortable minibus by the excellent Piotr / Peter who gave us some great info on what was going to happen. A quick stop to watch the sun set, along with a drink, then we were off to the viewing area which was in the perimeter of the Teide National Park. Although it was in a car park, this didn't matter at all. The 3 guys (Piotr, Mike and Jaime) set up all the high tech telescopes with laser guidance so we knew what we were looking at, and as well as keeping us informed they were great entertainers too and engaged everyone perfectly. We were so lucky to see the Milky Way, some shooting stars, lots of constellations and the planet Saturn too! Awesome is the only word. Everything was perfect and as advised, and the communications from the admin people were second to none! We 100% recommend this company and we will certainly book with them on a future trip. It's a big sky, we want to see more of it!
We had a great time on our Stargazing tour. The VIPs tour was awesome. We drank cava and watched the most spectacular sunset. We then went to our Stargazing spot. Our guides were very passionate about Stargazing and very entertaining. I recommend this tour.
Our experience was amazing! Our driver Jaime was really lovely and friendly. All three guides (Jaime, Phil and Peter) had great camaraderie and were really informative and knowledgable and made the experience even better! They were all so friendly and Phil’s photography was another added highlight. Couldn’t recommend this touring group enough! Would definitely do this experience again!
Peter and team were great and knowledgeable, just a pity the activity took place in a lay-by at the side of the main road and car lights spoilt the ambience
Dani and Mike were wonderful. They provided excellent service and their knowledge of the stars and constellations was “eye-opening.” They were personable and made the evening a true delightful experience. This is one to not be missed in Tenerife.
It’s worth every cent—an unforgettable experience! Peter (the global man!) and Phil share such fascinating information that you’ll find yourself falling in love with astronomy. I highly recommend installing the Stellarium app—it's a sky map that helps you identify what you're looking at in real time. Also you can take your time for ten minutes fiftheen minutes to have a look around you have time till sunset but be quick when it is closer to the sunset it is like "sun is going down faster"!! :D, don't miss the sunset. Thanks to the admin of their Facebook platform, I got connected with their sister company, dark skies tenerife, and arranged a private astrography session (or as Phil kept correcting me astrophotography :-D). So if you want to dive deeper, you can get more information about these private sessions, which last until morning—so you either need to be passionate about astronomy or just crazy enough to try something truly exciting. P.S. Huge thanks to Peter, Phil and their WhatsApp admin for the incredible organization and support. The team is truly professional!
