Guillaume was very reassuring and very patient with me on my first ever diver, I had a great time in a private session and would gladly return again on my next holiday as well as recommend anyone else thinking of going. The collection and delivery was a lovely touch also.. 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

What an amazing experience! We decided to book with Lov’Ocean as it was everyone’s first time to try scuba diving and my son was feeling a bit anxious but really wanted to give it a go. So with all the positive reviews, we decided to put our trust in Guillaume and his team. The whole team were really friendly and professional, put us at ease and explained things really well before going into the sea and did what they could to make sure my son was okay. Once in the sea first my husband, soon followed by my son, decided that scuba diving wasn’t on the cards for them this time, so myself and my other son went scuba diving whilst they went back on land. We had the most amazing experience underwater and we were well looked after, with an instructor each, who took us on a fantastic tour under the sea. They took photos and videos of the whole experience (all included as part of the experience) and although we saw lots of fish and other life, I think the biggest highlight was seeing a moray eel out on the sea floor! The whole experience was really easy to book through trip advisor. Guillaume contacted us shortly after booking to arrange the pick up/drop off location and time and everything went smoothly on the day too. The cost per person is very reasonable with everything they offer, plus with it being a small family company, you get the personal touch and a great experience all round. Myself and my son are now looking into further scuba diving lessons as the experience was so great we are wanting to do it again! I will definitely be booking again with Lov’Ocean next time we return to Tenerife.

We choose an ocean try-out dive. Everything was well organized, while my wife was a bit scared, but want to give it a try.. I highly recommend them, because they take all the time to make you feel comfortable with equipment, breathing under water and decompressing. So we for sure go for the next PADI open water diving. Very trustfull!

I always go on holiday with the aim to do something on my bucket list, Scubadiving has always been one of the things, Today I fulfilled my dream. I booked it for a friend and I and I'm soo glad we made the right choice in company to go with. Our diving instructor Guillaume was amazing, he spent time with us showing us everything in depth from equipment to signs to breathing techniques etc, it was both our first time and he made us feel very comfortable. His knowledge and expertise has made me want to do it again and get my diving licence to come back to Tenerife and have him dive with me. Seeing the ocean from a different perspective was amazing, all the hidden treasures and fish below. A day I will always remember, Thank You Guillaume 🤙

What an amazing experience. Me and my 12 year old daughter had the beginner diving experience. Jose and Tomek were really helpful and clear with instructions. We saw some amazing ocean life including a large Wray.

I was a bit worried at first as it was my first time ever scuba diving. But Joanna and Jose were so great instructors. After the very clear briefing and equipment fitting, we travelled down to the the beach were we started our trip. We took a few minutes to accommodate, after which, off we went into the sea. I found the experience to be very easy, comfortable and safe. And of course depends on your luck on what you will see down there. We got lucky with an angel shark (not dangerous), a shy ray hiding under a rock and a bunch of various fishes. Again, I have no words for how great our instructors were. Patient, knowledgeable and making the experience go so easy. I would definitely do it again. Thank you again, Joanna and Jose!

Even when I lost a little confidence in the water, Guillaume reassured me, kept me safe, and guided us back with calm professionalism and expertise. Guillaume is highly recommended. He gave easy to follow instructions about the pickup and dive; and mostly importantly, he calmed my nerves. My partner and I did very well with his instruction and reassurance. He is funny, knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely will scuba dive with him again if i visit.

I had a truly wonderful experience with Guillaume and LovOcean. I never write reviews but I really wanted to post my super positive experience here. Guillaume is super friendly and helpful, runs the extra mile, caters to your preferences (e.g. we went to the locations I had asked for, a shipwreck divesite and a turtle divesite), without overdoing it. The divesites and dives itself were great, so many fish, turtle, octopus, and the water was really clear, but Guillaumes help really made this experience top notch. Very much worth your money.

Booked a private dive—no clue if it was from a boat, shore, spaceship… info was vague. But hey, we got a private pickup, return, and underwater glamour shots at a great price, so we rolled the dice. 🛻 Arrival: Right on time. The provider communicated brilliantly, didn’t ghost us once. (Honestly, better than some mates.) 📝 Day of the Dive: Signed paperwork like we were joining a covert ops unit. Our instructor gave a briefing that could’ve made a nervous squirrel feel confident. The moment we suited up, we discovered: it was a shore dive. Surprise! 🚶‍♂️ The March of Doom: Down some stairs, across a pebbly beach designed by someone who clearly hates ankles. My wife, fearless in most things, met her match in a combo of kit weight, wobbly rocks, and the looming mystery of the underwater world. She bowed out, nobly pleading, “You go, just don’t cry too loud.” I was flailing too, but I knew if I bailed, she’d feel responsible for a double failure. So I did the noble thing and went ahead, while internally screaming. 💭 Flashback Panic: Old trauma bubbled up—nearly drowned as a kid during a school trip thanks to my appendix going rogue. Last memory? Slipping under. Next? Hospital bed. Great fuel for confidence. 🧜‍♂️ Entry Stage: My wetsuit almost got eaten by fear (or my clenched cheeks). I staggered into what I saw as Poseidon’s rage—a gentle swell that probably wouldn’t tip a duck. My instructor, bless her patient soul, slid on my fins while I hyperventilated like a squirrel in traffic. Tried the mask—nope. Tried again—still nope. Eventually remembered a trick: hold the hose, breathe through the mouth, tell the brain to stop whining. 🌊 Cork Mode Activated: Floated like a bobbing tub of anxiety, torn between going back and going under. Instructor whispered calm spells. I finally took the plunge—face in, mind blown. Gripped her arm like she was my only anchor in the abyss, which she basically was. Progressed from toddler-level cling to light fingertip contact. Felt like spiritual growth. 🐠 Underwater Euphoria: Saw wrasse, hogfish, pufferfish, blennies, and one shiny damselfish that looked like it was sponsored by highlighters. Forgot my fear, remembered joy. Had one mini freakout thanks to my beard transforming my mask into a water feature. Instructor fixed me up quick. Calm restored, adventure resumed. 🏖️ Exit: Popped up like a distant buoy. Backstroke of victory to shore. Staggered up beach like I’d returned from Mordor. 🤿 Final Thoughts: Did I love it? Absolutely. Did fear try to ruin me? Yes. Did I win? Mostly. The real MVP? My instructor—part guide, part wizard. Get past your fears. If you can walk across pebbles in a wetsuit, panic mid-mask, battle ancient trauma, and still hug a pufferfish with your eyes—you can do anything. We’ll be back for Round Two. And next time, maybe from a boat. Or a hovercraft. Who knows.

It was very well organized. Pick up and drop off at the hotel makes it very convenient. My instructor was Victoria, who was very patient and thorough. Great pictures! Spotted a massive stingray. Definitely reco.

We had such a great time. Our instructor was so great and easy going. We loved our dive so much. We saw lots of fish and aquatic life and didn't want to stop.

This was just the best. I was a bit nervous, because I never dived before, but received a very friendly welcome, which already put me at ease. My instructor Chris went through everything I needed to know and was super chill. In the water I started off too quickly and needed to get up for a minute to calm down. But I never felt unsafe and Chris was very calm and so helpful. After that, everything felt way better. We saw quite a lot of fish, it was beautiful. I truly enjoyed every minute and will heartily recommend doing a try dive here.

Absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish, the 2 instructors Charly and Amadeo were extremely professional and had great personalities. Helped us when we got into the water as my partner was a bit panicked and nervous and Charly stayed with her to ease her into it helping her the whole way. Highly recommend to do this as we both had the best life experience.

Amazing experience. Amadeus was my instructor and he was really good. Really reassuring and calm, and made me feel so at ease, even when at first I had a little panic moment. Once the initial fear was gone, was one of the best experiences I've had. Absolutely loved it and I think I might start scuba diving more often on holidays thanks to this beautiful experience. If I’m back in Tenerife I’ll definitely be booking again with them !

An impressive experience that I can highly recommend with this diving school. I enjoyed Francesco as a personal instructor who took excellent care of me all the time. We did the dive as a group of just 3 people with two instructors for us, this was excellent. We got a detailed introduction about basics first, then a smooth start in the water close to the beach just to get familiar with everything. Afterwards we started diving, so no bad surprises, no stress. I felt really safe all the time under water with the instructors taking care of us continuously and that makes a difference finally! On top we also received a bunch of nice pictures and videos after the dive, awesome!

Was cancelled I understand this was up to weather but it also had a few problems during communication trying to go to it but I believe it would be good had I not gotten cancelled

Experienced divers helped me feeling my boyfriend and I feel relaxed under water and actually dive for the first time. Great experience and want to try it again!

The team was great and the experiences were good but the description on Viator should be more accurate. I didn’t realise it was for first time divers so I booked it and was hoping I could use this opportunity to improve my dive. Again as mentioned before, the instructors were all great and very helpful but it is the description on Viator that needs more clarification.

I had an incredible diving experience with instructor Guillaume. He was extremely professional, explained everything perfectly, and prioritized my safety underwater. He allowed me the time I needed to get comfortable with the air tank without any pressure, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It was truly one of the best experiences of my life and I highly recommend him to everyone. Throughout the dive, he was attentive to my needs and checked in with me using underwater gestures to ensure everything was going smoothly. I always felt at ease and secure with him, especially since it was my first time diving and I was a bit nervous. As an added bonus, he even took photos of me underwater as a memento of this fantastic experience. It's definitely an experience I would love to repeat and one that I encourage everyone to try.

This was my first diving experience and it was great ! The instructor was VERY helpful and made me feel comfortable, safe and secure during this first dive. I strongly recommend, especially for beginners seeking a first nice and safe diving experience.

An amazing experience, Christian made me feel at ease and was a great instructor. I am now hooked and will try to dive again. Being able to get picked up and dropped off was also very convenient.

It has been my second try so I was already confident with diving. This made me going deeper and longer time underwater and I just enjoyed every seconds. Loved this experience! Great class for beginners or those with minimal experience. The guide Julien was super patient and kind, I brought my GoPro and he helped me take some photos throughout the dive. The dive spot is incredible, very clear water and cool ocean life so close to the shore! Learned a lot and had so much fun

Had the most amazing time diving. This was only my second time diving but felt really comfortable. And Christianos made me feel at ease. He explained all the safety procedures and guided me through the water which was amazing. Unfortunately I didn’t see any interested wildlife seen some from fishes and coral reef but christian tried his best. Thank you for the most wonderful dive and making me feel at ease. We went for a try dive and it was the best choice ever! The instructions were super clear and the two guides were really friendly and supportive - we felt safe during the whole time under water. We had an amazing experience while seeing a ray, many different kinds of fish and even a big turtle! For sure, we would book here a dive again! 😊 Apart from that, he sent us the included pictures so we can always take a look back at these moments! (Even if its raining, you can still go for a dive! 😉)

i had thee best experience diving with guillaume yesterday! to witness a whole new world under water was amazing especially as we were blessed with the company of 2 beautiful turtles! I highly recommend guillaume to those contemplating scuba diving especially if nervous or anxious in water or like myself, a poor swimmer. his energy & great sense of humour is an instant relaxer & more than that, he knows immediately when someone may not be quite right as his eyes are always on you, using his techniques & skills he knows exactly what to do to fix the issue bringing the peace & calmness back, not everyone has those natural qualities.

I don't have a good relation with water and depth but in a matter of minutes we passed from the shore to 5mt water on top of me and i never felt so safe and under control: Guillaume it's amazing and the experience it-self it's way more than MAGIC!!! Merci chef!🙏

Guillaume is a lovely person with great energy. He has a lot of knowledge and will make you feel very safe in the water. The dive was joyful and beautiful. You will have plenty of time looking at the marine life and enjoy the whole underwater world. It was a calm, fun and exiting experience. Would love to do it again.
