Tenerife Paragliding: Plus Flight

I am 70. One of my favorite experiences in my life. Cristo is amazing. It was easy. Fun. He has 15 years doing tandem flying. Much more alone. I was never nervous. A must do for everyone.

Recently I decided to do paragliding. It was my birthday and I went with my fiancé. After all necessary instructions I was the first one to take off. Once I landed I noticed that my fiancé arm was totally scratched. While they were taking off, apparently wind changed, and they couldn’t take off and it drugged him throw rocks. His arm was scratched, he was a bit bleeding, he also had scratches on his legs under the trousers. After we finished, they dropped us to our car and said: “Thank you. Good luck guys. Happy birthday again”. No first aid, not even offering just to simply clean it with the water or asking if he is okay. NOTHING!!! On their website says that it includes insurance but even basic first aid was not offered and they just left us to deal with this alone. At that point my fiancé was feeling dizziness and feeling like vomiting and in this condition he had to drive to the nearest pharmacy to get any medical attention. At that moment all the experience from paragliding went down to zero.

I had a great time flying with my pilot cateno . He was very experienced and humours. 5/5 would recommend to everyone who wants to see beautiful views . A very relaxing experience

My daughters did the paragliding activity yesterday and can honestly say that they had the time of their lives! Once booked had a message to confirm, I had booked a morning flight and in the morning had a voice message off the team saying they would pick me up at 10am and then explained the weather conditions were perfect and should be in for a good flight, sure enough bang on 10am the air conditioned vehicle picked me up and after a short drive went to get the team , we went up to the launch site where the team were very informative and helped with any questions, my instructor was a guy called Jonny who was amazing explaining throughout the flight how things were working and how high we were etc , near to the end of the flight just above my family waiting on the beach he asked if I wanted to do acrobats which was amazing , during the flight Jonny also sang happy birthday to me , can’t thank these guys enough they offered to take back to hotel as arranged but I stayed on the beach and enjoyed the beach bar (not linked to kangaroo) next time on the island I would love to do this again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company enough, the whole experience was amazing and I felt in good hands the whole time

This was my first paragliding flight and I must say it was one of my best and memorable experiences ever. Cristo and the team were brilliant I never felt nervous in partaking in such an amazing event. The views are amazing and I would recommend Kangaroo Tandem I felt 100% safe in their hands, Some great photos and videos to look back on also.

If you are thinking about a Tandem Jump, don’t hesitate, reserve your appointment now. :-) I felt completely safe, it was amazing, the landscape is gorgeous! I can’t be more satisfied!

Our first time in Tenerife and booked this experience through the hotel. Friendly pick up was waiting for us at the hotel entrance. Driven to the launch site along precarious winding roads with spectacular views. We were given an extra jacket as we only had jumpers. Had to wait 20 minutes for the right conditions but again amazing views so we were quite happy to sit and watch. I was very nervous but was put at ease. Flights were amazing and something to remember. Taken to landing spot on rough ground where the transport arrived a few minutes later. Much to our surprise the photos and videos taken were downloaded to our phones for free. We thought they would try to sell them to us. Back at hotel 2 hours after pick up. I thoroughly recommend kangaroo tandem, very professional and friendly with videos and photos included in the price.

I went for the second time and had a great experience I will definitely be back, there is something so amazing about such a high altitude.

Great experience from start to finish. We saw them landing on the beach close to our hotel and thought it looked like fun. The website and booking process were really easy and Christo contacted me the same day to confirm the booking. Everything ran smoothly on the day from pickup to the actual paragliding. Christo and his colleagues were really friendly and made us feel at ease, they explained the process and answered all our questions. The paragliding itself was a fantastic experience, it was great to see the sights in a totally different way. It was the highlight of our holiday and we would definitely recommend anyone who wants to paraglide to book with Christo and the team.

A great experience and memories made for a family of 4 with teenagers. Air con transport arrived on time. Guides all spoke better English than we spoke Spanish. The videoing and use of the selfie stick and uploading the data went perfectly.

A totally professional company from being on time at pick up point right through to landing on the beach front after the flight. Cristo and his team were super friendly and professional! He rescheduled twice to make sure the conditions were right; and even though we werent able to do the long flight due to lack of winds, he was quick to offer a partial refund to the shorter flight. Would recommend using Kangaroo if you're in Tenerife, they are prompt, easy to communicate with and MOST importantly safe!

First of all, I should say thank you to all Kangaroo Tandem team for their punctuality and friendliness. I booked a flight, but on one day before the instructor said that the weather and wind was impossible to successful flight. And he suggested to return money or booked a flight on another day. Fortunately, I had plenty of time and the weather changed. It was really great, good wind, we had a flight in 30 minutes from IFONCHE. The instructor, Cristo, was very reliable and calm person. You see that he is really professional instructor and likes his work and flight. I'm absolutely satisfied with this flight, just positive feelings. If I return to Tenerife, I think I will try another flight from this company.

Phew, I thought about it for a long time, but Cristo explained everything in great detail. I became calmer and calmer and was so excited about the flight. The flight was beautiful. The monitor Cateno was very kind and attentive at all times. They picked me up at the hotel and it was an incredible experience. It seemed very short to me. I recommend it.

The boys were delighted with their experience. It's the first time they've been paragliding. They were immediately put in confidence by their instructors. Awesome. A unique experience. Also the pleasure of knowing Christ is already an experience of 10. Super friendly and close conveys a lot of security and professionalism. Super recommended. The moment that most impresses is the takeoff but within seconds it is a wonder, you feel tam sure that it does not give dizziness or fear, quite the opposite, the smooth flight between the clouds and the wonderful views transmit peace.

Christ is a really very helpful, kind and caring person. We did my wife and I for the first time paragliding and had a great time! Unfortunately it was not possible to fly from the national park due to the wind and even in this situation Christ proved very reliable and kind. We recommend this experience to everyone especially with Kangaroo Tamdem!

So we did the classic flight, magnificent view, impeccable takeoff, soft landing on the beach, I recommend! View of three islands, transparent sea, mountainside flight... What more can I ask?

Good and fast information in advance by mail. Telephone contact shortly before the meeting for the final arrangement to the meeting point at Playa de la Enramada. Drive about 35 minutes to the starting point. After a short briefing from the pilot to the take-off process and off we go after a few steps into the air. All very relaxed and without stress. The weather was great on the flight day with good thermals, so you could quickly circle up to just below the thin cloud cover. Wonderful view of the Teide and the south side of Tenerife. After about 15 minutes we went slowly towards Costa Adeje to the landing point at Playa de la Enramada. Over the sea, after consultation with the pilot, another little adrenaline rush with fast, winding downward movements and shortly afterwards the landing approach began with information from the pilot about the landing process . A pinpoint, soft landing on the black lava sand ended the approximately 35-minute flight adventure. A big compliment to pilot David, who had flown 3 times that day before and still had made the flight full of energy. A few more tips: It is best to book the flight at 4 pm, as the light is best at this time and the thermals are also right. Since there are often many clouds in the mountains at the departure point, try to see if a short-term appointment is possible. Christo is the right contact person here. Otherwise booking online, but only select payment after the flight - is no problem. It is possible to bring your own small camera (GoPro or similar). But must be agreed with Christo and the pilot beforehand, as certain safety rules must be observed.
