The tour is definitely worth doing. It was great to see a different part of the island, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting. My only criticism is that the tour was conducted in three languages. While I understand the need to accommodate different guests, it meant the guide would spend several minutes explaining something in Spanish, but less than a minute in English. As an English speaker, it often felt like we were only getting a brief summary rather than the full explanation. I think the experience would be much better if tours were offered in a single language, or at least with fewer languages per tour, so everyone receives the same level of information.

Really enjoyed the tour . The guide & driver were really good . The whole day was very enjoyable. Would recommend.
I had a wonderful day touring the island and stopping at some of the most beautiful spots on Tenerife. Both the driver ang guide could not have been nicer and pleasant. They made the effort to connect everyone on the trip, which meant that by the end, we all knew each other. I would definitely recommend this trip for anyone who wants to get a quick overview of Tenerife.
The guide was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about the island. There were a few stops along the way which added to the experience. All in all a great day out.
A good value trip. Did not expect r language commentary, but given the half load on bus ,fair. Ity that one language commentary in french was without the mike and more a personal chat with the passengers near him
Lovely day tour with pick up from a hotel in Los Gigantes. The lunch left a little to be desired (at own cost of €17) but did have a veggie menu. The bus driver was excellent (per the other reviews!) and the last section of the day was incredible with all the views. The stops are relatively short, so you can't go too far from the pick up point. Christoph was incredibly good humoured and open to questions (he speaks 5 languages!). The downside is that the route is very wiggly, so potentially travel sickness for those that suffer and at times the instructions for where to go (especially after lunch) aren't completely clear, so ask lots of questions! All in all, a decent tour for the price, but you will want to do more exploring if you're only planning on one tour during your stay.
Spent 2hrs on the bus picking up clients at various locations before the tour started propet. Too many on bus 48 in total Apart from Puerto De La Cruz only 30-40 mins spent in any location. The guide was obsessed with making sure that clients returned to the bus on time. Another hour and a half spent dropping off clients at the end of tour. My backside was sore from sitting on the bus. The guide was very indistinct and spoke too fast. Not worth €92.
Perfect way to check off some major points of interest and get a feel of the island, and there was plenty of time to enjoy each spot. Amazing was also the variety of pickup spots they offered! My pickup time got changed twice, but that is to be expected with last minute guests joining. I ended up being driven to Las Américas free of charge, great service.
We originally booked for a ‘round the ixlsnd’ trip but I forth is had to be cancelled due to a transport strike! We were lucky enough to be offered an alternative the following day. It was a different - and act slightly better - itinery. We went to Mount Teide and made 3 other stops. Our guide was interesting and informative (Tox), the driver (Joel) brilliant and the whole trip was a fabulous day’s entertainment. Thanks to the company (tour operator) for their help and assistance. We thoroughly en our excursion. 😃
Going to Santa Cruz seeing different landscape would have liked to had more information from tour guide
We booked a small group tour in a minivan with a maximum of 15 people. Unfortunately, we were put on a coach with more than double that many people! I would not have booked this tour if it was on a tour bus as I get motion sick and since we were almost the last of people to join the tour, we were stuck at the back and the tour guide basically said "tough". There are a lot of twists and turns which made the tour quite uncomfortable when fighting motion sickness. The tour was 9 hours long and we were only off the bus for 3 hrs and 10 minutes. Would not recommend.
Trip was great, got to see many highlights of Tenerife. Also had some free time to wander around and shop. Guide was great as well. Only bummer was I had to sit all day next to a man who was very sick with a bad cough, and he wasn't wearing a mask. By that evening I started coughing, and had a horrible cough/cold the rest of my vacation. Not the Tour .Operator's fault, but I wish if people are sick they would be more considerate of others
Excellent trip.Christopher was a great guide. He was very informative and had a good sense of humour. His driver was very competent. Our group of four friends had a lovely trip around the Tenerife.
Excellent day out to see more of the island of Tenerife. It’s a long day, so be prepared! Check your pick up time, I was given 0830, when it was actually 0935 (a lot of difference when you are on holiday!)
First timers to this island. So great way to get a flavour of the island. Outstanding value for money - £39 pp. We had a good day - our party was c24 all but 6 Brits were Spanish. Friendly bunch. Bus and driver did a very good job. We found our friendly Spanish guide Jose difficult to follow his English but it wasn’t a huge issue. He tried hard and talked non stop all morning. As advertised it’s an 8 hour day and about 5 hours is on the bus, in stages, largely due to the mountain roads and congestion/traffic. Our bus was 45 mins late picking us up which was unfortunate. Recommended.
I was not notified of a change of pickup location and time. It was originally from my hotel. After 10 mins I by chance went to a previous pickup place where i meet a couple going on my trip who had been notified. I nearly missed my trip.
A brilliant guide, Thomas and a skillful driver Jose. Odered in a small 15 pers. bus got a big bus with cramped legspace a tons of stops at hotels. But overall a nice day.
The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. What was very frustrating to me was it took two hours to pick up passengers from the other side of the island. When we visit the point of interest, we were there for a very short time not enough time to enjoy I felt it was a race. I suggest they should only do Two. Pick up points, and let us have more time to visit each place
The tour was awesome, the views, history were great also and our guide Thomas was very nice and knowledgeable about everything.
Fabulous day showing a great friend highlights of Tenerife . Fantastic guide Christophe and our driver Jose was great too. We visited many of my favourite places in the island some of which I have not been to for many years. A really great day!
A well organised & enjoyable trip. Ivan, our guide was first class and there was the right balance of stops and driving. I would definitely recommend this trip.
A really good trip that we thoroughly enjoyed, especially Puerto de la Cruz ( our favourite city showing the real Tenerife)and Los Gigantes. The guide told us some interesting facts about the places and we managed to see 5 attractions in one day( Los Gigantes, Garachico, Icod de Los Vinos (with the dragon tree) , Puerte de la Cruz and Candelaria with the amazing cathedral right by the ocean. No La Orotava , even though it had been mentioned in the itinerary:( All in all, definitely worth going.
We had a comfortable air-conditioned bus that picked us up from our hotel. Good communication from the office as well arranging our pick up. The tour guide was brilliant, he was fluent in many languages and provided lots of useful information in 3 different languages. The scenery was amazing. I highly recommend this trip if you want to get to know the north of the island. Had a great day out. Excellent service!
Bit of a hiccup to start the day as I was given the wrong time to meet. At least it was earlier than later 🤭. Chris the rep was informative and easy going. Obviously the weather helped make it a good day.
Just a great day out with ample time given at each of the stops. Very informative guide and careful driver.
Could not understand 95% of what the guide said. Too large a group also. Not great stops for most part. Was on a Viator tour on Gran Canary several years ago and was an all day tour. It was one of the best tours we had in 25 years of traveling.
It was very informative tour absolutely worthy.we would like to say thank you Martin and for the bus driver.
We went in the full Island tour with our guide Sebastian. He was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it. We normally hire a car whenever we go on holiday but decided not to this time and this tour gave us a chance to see all of Tenerife without the cost and hassle of hiring a car and trying to find parking in many places. We would definitely recommend this tour Great value for money!
Beautiful tour. Shows such different sides of the island. Beautiful roads to drive on and a lot to see. Guide was very fun and informative :)
All good a great day all the places visited had something to offer , an excellent insight into the island with a great guide who was invaluable in making the day a success.
Good tour in the sense that we covered some interesting places. The guide Chris was very knowledgeable and dealt with a large group in three languages. However he was over sensitive when people were whispering while he was talking. Felt he was talking to a class of kids. However the main reason I only give 3 stars is because we spent circa 3 hours picking up and dropping off. The group was far too large and distributed in terms of pick up location. Better to find a smaller tour group.
Excellent way to see and learn about the island in one day. Christopher an excellent and articulate guide.
Fantastic whole island experience. Christoper is a great host with so much knowledge about Tenerife and it’s history. Perfect amount of stops throughout the tour and great to get some free time to explore Puerto De La Cruz. Thanks to Miguel the driver too!
We spent a lot of time on the bus, and then we had very little time to see some of the spots. It would be better to see less spots but have more time to see them, then have a lot of places to see and then you have to rush through them. Less is more...
The description of the trip on the website was not clear. It said that there would be a maximum of 15 participants but we ended up on a bus with 50 people, which was not what we expected.
The tour was excellent, really worth the money. We have seen most of the places that we wanted to see. You won't see the Teide or Santa Cruz so if you want to see those places you'll need to buy separate excursion. The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke in 4 languages. I learned a lot and brought back lots of amazing photos. Thank you.
It’s a big island! The tour is kind enough to pick up travelers in the south of Tenerife. We thought the tour was English speaking only so felt a little sad for the tour guide when he had to repeat each conversation in French. Exhausting. The tour was a great overview of the island! Recommend this tour if you have not been to Tenerife! Our driver was amazing...very good driving....and Christopher our guide was very informative!
Problems with the pick up .It was a hotel a taxi ride from our hotel so we had to pay for the journey both ways! Not very satisfactory. However the trip itself was very good with an excellent guide who made the trip very enjoyable.
A great day out, lovely views and stops, well worth the money. taken loads of photos on this trip.A long day, but pleasant in air-con coach. The guide was a lovely lady & spoke good English.
This was the second time using this company, went on the La Gomera tour last year, not disappointed. From start to finish this was an amazing, informative tour and our guide Jakob was very professional and a lovely man. The pick up was early 07.15 at our point and first on. Didn't mind having to go to the other various pick up points as the coach was very comfortable and air conditioned plus Jakob kept us informed. We headed out to Los Gigantes and although a short stop the view was incredible and able to take photos. Next stop was Icod where we walked up the road to see the majestic Drago Tree (technically a plant as pointed out by Jakob), the buildings there are amazing. Onward to La Orotava we took a walking tour around some of the city, stopping off at the old monastery which is now a museum. The architecture is beautiful. Back to the coach and off to Puerto de la Cruz with another stop where we were able to have something to eat, walk along the front or do some shopping. The last stop was in Candelaria by the Basilica. More photo opportunities seeing the awesome statues of Guanche Menceyes, (the kings) along the seafront plus the Black Madonna inside the Basilica. Some of the views whilst in the coach as you wind up the mountains are incredible, worth seeing. Would certainly recommend this tour and this tour company.
We were picked up early in the morning in a luxury minibus. Air-conditioned and modern we knew the journey would be done in comfort. 17 of us undertook this excursion. We visited Los Gigantes, Ichod, La Oratava, Puerto de la Cruz and Candalria. The whole journey was professionally guided by Jakob who gave a running commentary in English, Spanish and German. We loved the whole tour. This is the second time we have used this company, last year we went to La Gomera Each tour has been professionally handled, the guides excellent and you come away with a wealth of information Highly recommended
We were very satisfied with the tour, comfortable bus, tour guide with lot of information about island provided. We have seen interesting places - Los Gigantes, Garachico, La Orotava, Dragon tree, Puerto de la Cruz (lunch break) and Candelaria. There was time range for every stop provided in advance - we advise to be on time in bus (also to ask for guide phone number in case of getting lost so he can navigate you to thetbus!!!). We recommend the tour it was totally worth the money. Thank you
Be careful when booking this tour. When we booked this tour it showed it would be a small group tour limited to 15 people. When we got the tickets it showed the same but when you click on the terms and conditions it says that the tour is limited to 55 people. The tour we were on had just over 30 people, which is too big. It also says that entry/admission to the Plaza de Patrona de Canarias is included. That's correct, because entry is free of charge anyway. The tour guide didn't even bother to guide the group there, she just said you walk straight and will find it. About the tour guide, it was looking and sounding like she was reading a story from paper (or mobile phone). In three languages, and mostly when she reached to English we had passed the site already she was talking about. There were also huge pauses in the commentary and at one point it was so boring that most people in the bus fell asleep. It's not really a bus tour, it's more that the bus takes you somewhere and you can explore yourself, the commentary (when there is commentary) is not very interesting. 5 stops and even a hop on hop off bus will give you more interesting commentary. Why still giving it 2 stars? Because it took us to some places we hadn't seen before.
Our tour guide was fantastic and the tour was smooth. We saw lots of interesting places but we didn't feel rushed at all. The guide seemed to be full of humour, and all in all a thoroughly full tour. Stops were'nt few and far between and seemed bang on in my opinion. It's a must tour in Tenerife!

We chose not to hire a car whilst staying at our holiday rental, so this was a great way to see some of Tenerife in one day.
The customer service at Viator were very helpful in finding a nearby hotel for pick up in the morning and we were transferred to a company car for our return journey, so hassle free for us.
The tour guide and driver were professional and this Island Tour is well worth recommending.

Very pleased with the tour, it shows the beauty of the island, the tour guide Christopher was very nice and made that tour very interesting.

I really enjoyed this tour, you should definitely go on it!

it is a must tour..! almost covered the whole island..

Very long day had few stops to look at old building visit church stopped in few towns do bit of shopping. Get to see some amazing scenic views from high up. You get to see the oldest tree on island. Tour guide was good.

Nice visit to Puerto de la Cruz and Garachico The guide is passionate but it seems he doesn't pay attention to people who come solo
