Fantastic evening thanks to Miguel who showed us so much. He is so passionate and knowledgeable and answered every. even though i booked mainly for my hubby I really enjoyed it too. Thanks again.

Itinerary
1. Welcome & Sky Orientation (Teide National Park at 2,200 m) Arrive at our meeting point in Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a short walk to the observation point, your Starlight-certified guide begins naked-eye orientation: Polaris, constellations, zodiac and visible planets. No prior knowledge needed — designed for everyone. 2. Telescopes & Live Astrophotography (Same location) Observe Saturn's rings, Jupiter's moons, galaxies like Andromeda, nebulae like Orion and star clusters like the Pleiades through professional telescopes. Small groups ensure personal attention at the eyepiece. A second telescope captures live astrophotography, images of the cosmos sent to you by email as a gift after the tour. 3. End of the tour (Meeting point) The experience concludes with a short walk back to the meeting point under the stars. Perfect time to ask the last questions under one of the three best stargazing locations on Earth.

I was looking forward to the Stargazing at Teide experience, but I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. It exceeded my expectations. Huge kudos to our guide, Miguel, incredibly knowledgeable and able to present complex information in a dynamic, engaging, and never boring way. He truly made the experience unforgettable.
Engaging and struck by awe of the universe seen with help through my own eyes. knowledgeful team of scholars and with a easy accessed beautiful settings. If you have time bring a chair and a blanket to sit and enjoy the cosmos after the tour is over, i wish i had.
Mount Teide is a great place to view the stars with the naked eye. I also saw 4 shooting stars. At 2,100 m above sea level you are above the clouds and the humidity is low. Having a hire car I drove myself. For 47 Euros per person, the extra you get from this experience is : * A look at 4 celestial objects through an (I'd guess 6 inch) telescope, with automatic tracking. Each person got to look at each object for about a minute. : ** A couple of globular clusters ** Andromeda galaxy - which looks like a smudge rather than a spiral that might be seen from a long exposure picture. ** Saturn, with its ring and three moons. (Looks just as you would hope and expect). * A guide describing a bit about each of the 4 celestial objects. * A bit of general astronomy info - such as size and age of the milky way, looking back in time at distant objects, where we are in the milky way, satellites, the ecliptic, how to find certain things, like the pole star, how to make the most of your eye's night vision. * A slightly greater amount of talk about constellations and mythology behind them. * Guides shining laser pointers at the stars, constellation and other celestial objects they are talking about. * Photos taken on the night of the celestial objects we looked at. Personal/family group photo with several second exposure to capture the night sky behind followed by a flash to get you in the picture. We considered the meal and sunset watch options but went to the same park instead, had a picnic and watched the sunset from above the clouds. With my time over again I'd have just gone for the free (other than cost of whatever you take) picnic, free sunset watch and free look at the night sky with my Mark 1 eyeballs. Not least as the experience clashed with a CD Tenerife home game that I would like to have watched.
Our two guides were great, really informative and patient. Do not underestimate how cold it is – wrap up warm! The night sky of Tenerife is incredible and they even organised a shooting star for us to see!
Very informative and beautiful. I was hoping to see a planet or two but my timing wasn’t right for that. The drive up to the meeting point was breathtaking. It was cold during the presentation so make sure you take a warm jacket not just a sweatshirt. Would recommend!
Incredible! Highly recommend. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. The views were amazing. Only slight downside is the lack of toilets, so beware of this if driving up.
My partner and I had a wonderful first time experience stargazing with Miguel and Adri! Super informative, we learned some fun facts, and saw a beautiful night sky. Would absolutely recommend, and would repeat.
Everything was great! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the Stargazing experience: beautiful views and friendly conversations. Just a small heads-up: bring warm clothes with you. We went in April, and it was quite freezing at night.
Cold but awesome Magnificent theatre, and commentary very informative. Miguel’s Knowledge was great and his English was good even though his accent was strong.
Fabulous views of the starry skies that are only possible in such a dark unspoiled area. Guides were very knowledgeable and able to answer questions. The lazer pointer was great, showing us exactly what they were telling us about. Only issues I would raise that would make the experience even better, the group was a bit too large, and maybe curtail the explanation of so many constellations, it’s quite cold out there standing around for an hour or so. Overall though a really good experience.
This was the best experience we had on our holiday. Our guides were so knowledgeable and inspiring. We did the 2 person stargazing and learned so much that has inspired us to learn more ongoing. Loved seeing Saturn in the telescope and the photos as souvenirs are amazing. Something we will remember forever.
Great experience. Guides were very knowledgeable and had answers to all our questions. Amazing view of our solar system.
Spectacular and great tour with very good explanations. The sky is not the limit, just our eyes. Anyone who loves the sky, should have seen this
It was a very interesting and nice experience. The guide was very friendly and seemed professional. You should definitely wear warm clothes because it was very cold.
It was one of our most interesting experiences here in Tenerife. We really enjoyed the activity and learned a lot of interesting facts. The spot for observing the night sky was perfectly chosen and we could enjoy the wonderful conditions for observation. The guides very carefully explained everything we were observing through telescopes and our naked eyes and easily answered every question anybody had. The guides conducted the activity in a way that is interesting to both those interested in astronomy and those who have no previous interest in it. The groups were small so everybody could ask questions, observe the objects in the sky through telescopes without feeling overwhelmed or rushed and the atmosphere was really pleasant. The fact that the guides have a vast knowledge about astronomy and could easily answer any question was very impressive! We could watch the sky and listen to the facts and stories all night :) Highly recommend! 🪐🌌
That was a great experience! After traveling to the meeting point i met there with Miguel and his Colleague. The tour with maybe 12 People started to the told time, we went a little out in the surrounding, where they put the telescope. Even if i was not that much into startgazing, and are more into photography and nature as such, Miguel was so impressive, he knew everything about stars, history of their names, and the solarsystem, he could answer every question i had. One noticed that he is doin his hobby as a job, because he was so well informed and also a fun person. I enjoyed that a lot! The conditions were very good, so i had much luck with that experience and would highly reccomend it if you are there on holiday! Sebastian
Great experience with enthusiastic and experienced astronomers! The trip up the mountain is beautiful as well with lots of great views along the way.
Very responsible, knowladgable, on time crew. They explained a little bit of everything. From the galexy, to the stars, telescope and constellations. We highly recommand this tour.
Very knowledgeable guide who was able to answer all our questions and give good explanation of what we could see.
Excellent organisation: the observation point was chosen very carefully, you could tell it was kind of a crater, where no light was disturbing the star gazing; very friendly MC, loads of information on astronomy! Great experiance !
Super great experience with our guide Miguel! The location is phantastic. We never saw such a star lighted sky before. Thank you Miguel for the very good and lively explanation!
This is a really fun and easy way to experience a completely different side of Tenerife. Getting to the location is easy and the astronomers were very knowledgeable.
A great experience very informative and beautiful. It was very cold and windy when we went make sure to wrap up really warm. Great value in our opinion.
Don't miss it! The stars are like a big blanket covering you!!! Miguel was our guide and nobody can beat his passion to get people to be enthusiastic in our planet. There was a car about 500m away from us and the headlight was on which of course gave too much light for star watching. Miguel was so frustrated about it as if he has paid for the tour. And you can see that his frustrations are REAL🤣! The tour was postponed once since high clouds was forecasted. Instead of going ahead and blame the unpredictable for grumpy clients, they cancelled the tour and moved us to another day. Highly recommended. They even provide thick warm jackets, but be warned to bring scarves and gloves.
Wauw what a great experiance. Our Guide was really passionated and had so much knowledge about astronomy! We had a great time, deen lots of stars and planets even in close-up! Would recommand it for sure!
I really enjoyed this experience, the only thing i would have done differently is to dress warmer. Overall I recommend this workshop to anyone curious about the night sky, right under the tip of the volcano the sky gets very clear and you can see the Milky Way with bare eyes. It’s extremely beautiful. If you are an amateur astronomer and have some knowledge of the night sky, maybe this tour will be too basic, but still worth it because of the unique observation spot
The tour was really interesting and the guides were nice and very motivated. You can feel, they love what they are doing.
A truly amazing experience that left us and both of our teenage boys awed and inspired to learn more (which is extraordinary in itself)!!
This was the highlight out of our Tenerife trip. It's a sensational tour. The stars are magnificent and our guide explained everything so well. It was easy to book and they communicated with us well. Our tour was postponed so we could get a clearer view of the stars. Really kind, knowledgeable tour guide. Dress warmly! Bring a wooly hat and gloves. Would recommend this tour to everyone.
Brilliant tour, Luke is very knowledgeable and is able to give you some orientation skills for the sky Highly recommend it
It was such a pleasure to be a part of this. The guides had warm jackets for those who wasn't dressed warm enough, water if necessary, and knowledge galore about the stars in the sky. We enjoyed every minute of it. Would highly recommend this activity if you're visiting Tenerife.
Unfortunately the weather was unsuitable and so our trip was cancelled. The team communicated well and let us know the situation as it evolved and gave a full refund.
I booked the English version of the tour. My intention was limited to just see our solar system planets through a sophisticated telescope but i got way more than expected: I really liked the explanations about how the old greeks used the stars to navigate, all the heuristics to find the polaris, all the different ways to measure time on different scales just by looking at the stars etc. I always was interested in astrophysics but never gave it a chance actually. This tour definitely elicited my passion for astronomy and astrophysics and I'll dig deeper into it now :) Thanks to the amazing guides who really catched me by their in-depth knowledge! 110% recommendation!
With this excursion being so cheap my partner and I couldn’t miss out on it, and it was definitely worth it! Our guide Miguel was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the constellations and stars. If you’re in Tenerife this a must!
We had as great time with Discovery Experience. Our guide was very knowledgable and took the time to answer the quiestions of our children. Also very good hardware (telescope) and we appeciated the jacket provided (It is cold). Highly recommended !!
a wonderful night, exactly what I was hoping for. Our group (English speakers) had only 8 people in it. The guide was super nice and informative and answered our questions. The tour had two parts - using a telescope (I'll never forget the rings of Saturn!) and looking at the sky with our eyes. It was very cold and the guides provided warm jackets. We had fun, we learned a lot and we highly recommend this activity.
Thank you for an amazing experience. We saw planets and a view of the moon we could never have imagined. Friendly and entertaining. We got a bit lost using Google maps so our advice would be set off with as much daylight as you can.
We are very happy to have booked this activity. It is impressive how many stars you can see in the national park without light pollution nearby. Through a telescope we then looked at ua Saturn, Jupiter, the Orion Nebula and the Andromeda Galaxy. Much has been explained about what can be seen from Earth, how the constellation changes over the year, and where the differences between the northern and southern hemispheres lie. The currently visible zodiac signs (fish to lion) were also explained to us. Small shortcoming: partly accent, mixed with technical terms and you yourself banished from heaven, we unfortunately did not understand everything despite good English skills. Nevertheless, we would do this again and again and recommend. Especially beautiful are the two professionally taken photos, which we received as a reminder afterwards.
A magical experience under the stars. Oscar was an exceptional guide I loved and explained everything with clarity and enthusiasm. The place was perfect to observe without light pollution, and the organization was impeccable. I loved the experience I would repeat without hesitation!
What a wonderful sky and friendly guides. Legal tour and no enrollment. I recommend! Remember to bring warm clothes and gloves, very cool!
Beautiful experience.... A must for those coming to Tenerife.... The team is very good and super engaging... They explain everything impeccably and involve you in the vision of the stars... All approved and super recommended.
The guides are very friendly and professional, they make the visit fantastic. Especially Oscar, a pleasure to participate in the activity
The views were spectacular and the explanation of the Oscar team was ten: entertaining, didactic and fun. A great family experience
Wonderful experience and wonderful guide (in our case we were accompanied by Oscar). We will certainly repeat shortly. Thank you guys for an unforgettable night.
Miguel was an ideal companion, in his explanations and the resolution of doubts, very pleasant, fun and above all didactic
Experience to recommend and the Oscar guide very nice, attentive and very enjoyable and interesting explanations. An indelible memory forever.
I expected a much darker sky. Although there was no moon the visibility was very limited. That said, the guide was pleasant
The starry sky was fascinating and our guides gave us a lot of knowledge about the stars. I can now find the Polar Star from anywhere!
Super experience, very knowledgeable guides, detailed information about the constellations, good equipment, definitely pack warm clothes
