We took the sunset and stargazing tour with Jesper on 5th October. Jesper is an excellent tour guide and we would award him 5 stars for his knowledge and delivery whilst on the tour. He was accompanied by an excellent driver and the coach was very clean and air conditioned. We very much enjoyed our afternoon and evening. The only downside was the length of time on the bus prior to the start of the tour. We were picked up at 2:30pm, but didn’t reach our first stop until 4:15pm, approximately 20 mins after the last pick up. However, on the return journey the drop off was done in reverse which meant the few of us that were the first pick ups were dropped off first, for us it meant we arrived back at our hotel at 11:45pm. The tables in the restaurant where we ate our evening meal were set out very nicely which was a pleasant surprise. All in all we very much enjoyed the tour but found it a tiring day.
From start to finish this was a fantastic trip, Daphne was excellent, keeping us well informed and looked after us all. From getting picked up on time, greeting us, The bus, was first class, I have been coming to Tenerife for over 30years, I would say it is the best bus I have ever travelled in, the driver takes pride in it and himself, he was excellent. The meal was delicious, every course was perfect, clean plates all round. Star gazing was fantastic, seeing Saturn was the absolute highlight. This tour is worth every penny. Excellent.
Food was pretty poor. The tour itself was good though however. I liked the photo stops and seeing Jupiter was amazing through the telescope
Best Teide national park experience available, great guide, and the stargazing at the end was just magical
Daphne is so smart, cool and funny. Our bus driver was very professional and the ride was nice and smooth, we had many view point stops to the north to witness some incredible sights! We stopped off at a very nice cafe and tried some of the local taste in coffee, went to see the sunset by Teide we are very high up the sky! We went to go and see a big rocky hand reach out from the ground and saw a huge crater. It was incredible! Never worry about toilet breaks they are often and you provided with fantastic food! You get given blankets and tea if you are too cold. We went star gazing and learned so much about the night sky and got to see Saturn and the moon through professional telescopes. We were given a very pretty star chart so we can identify the sky and time of the year. Thanks Daphne! We’re going to come back next time!
Done this trip 3 times now and will certainly do it again. Highly recommended. Our guide, Jesper and driver Carmelo were brilliant. Jesper was extremely knowledgeable not just, the astronomy, but the history of the Canaries, with a great sense of humour particularly as English isn't his first language. Sunset over Teide and the night sky were awsome. Meal was pretty good to say it was catering on a mass scale.
Amazing experience with brilliant guide jesper was funny and informative throughout, great value for money the trip began at 15.40 and we got back at 1am food was good drinks were plenty great night overall.
An incredible experience, definitely worth doing. The sunset was the most beautiful I’ve ever seen and getting to look at the night sky without light pollution is something I’ll remember forever. It was also really interesting learning about Teide and the landscape around the park. Our guide was really engaging and entertaining, we thoroughly enjoyed it
Fantastic experience. We have done tours up Teide before and this exceeded them all. Lovely to have to stop near Vilaflor for a coffee, and the stop in the crater was incredible. Food was nice, and well catered to allergens. One of the best excursions we have ever done - sunset over the clouds was magical as was the stargazing. My only criticism was the place we stargazed had frequent cars passing, so the darkness was frequently interrupted. When we have done tours before we had a much more protected area without disruption. It would also have been nice to have 10 minutes just to relax and watch the stars after the interesting constellation talk and telescopes. In all a magic trip, and would do it again in a heartbeat.
We were picked up from meeting spot on time and coach very modern good air con . Guide amazing from start Jasper so knowledgeable. First stop Vilaflor nice cafe with coffe cakes ice creams . Then a stop in landscape great to see walk . Dinner then not bad pumpkin soup schnitzel veg potatoes Choclate mouse lots of drinks on table wine water coke fanta . Off to sunset which was good but unfortunately a bit hazy . Then toilet stop and star gazing which was best japer so knowledgeable stars amazing . Then telescope stop amazing and back at drop off for just after 11.30 . The only reason not give the pick up not from hotel we stayed at med place but pick up 10 mins walk away at best Tenerife not sure why could not be nearer when it was for others . Also short toliet stop 30 mins felt to long . Overall though good trip
We had an absolutely incredible experience on the Teide by Night tour with our fantastic tour guide, Nico. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised. We were picked up promptly from our sister hotel, Princess Inspire Tenerife, and the coach was very comfortable, making the journey relaxing and enjoyable. Nico was amazing – extremely informative, knowledgeable, and happy to answer every question throughout the trip. The food was also really good and added to the overall experience. The highlight of the evening was definitely watching the sunset above the clouds. It was absolutely phenomenal and unlike anything I have ever experienced before – truly breathtaking! The stargazing was equally incredible and is an absolute must. Seeing the colours of the stars so clearly in one of the best places on the planet for stargazing was something we will never forget. 10/10 – we would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Tenerife. We can't wait to come back and experience it all over again! 🌅✨⭐️
Wow , just Wow . The most wonderfully experienced of our time in Tenerife, from the moment we were picked up , Jesper our guide was a wealth of knowledge and a real gem of a host . Meal was great all staff were very welcoming and professional. Star gazing was immense, and yet again talked through everything we seen and were using with a great passion for the subject. Highly recommended 10/10
We recently did this with our 3 kids (14, 12 and 9). The 9 year old was fine on the long journey and enjoyed the sunset and star gazing. My only complaint was the food. My kids were all offered the same 3 courses as us (pumpkin soup, chicken, veg and potatoes followed by chocolate mousse. I asked could my youngest have a kids meal instead and they said the restaurant does not cook chips!!! When we arrived we watched one of the waiters bring out a plate of chips. I offered to pay for the chips but they still wouldn't entertain it. My sister in law had been the week before and had told me her son had pizza and chips so I knew they were blatantly lying to me which put a dampener on the night.
This was a fantastic experience. Coach pick up was smooth then we went to nice coffee shop for drinks and ice cream. We had few stops for pictures. Then we went to Papillon restaurant for meal. Then sunset watching and then star gazing through telescopes and then we had time with our guide Elena who showed us constellations and shared interesting things about night sky. Then back to hotels . Tour was very well organised. Our driver Ruben was great and very friendly, our guide Elena was fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly as well. Shared many interesting facts about island, Teide national park and Mount Teide. Only disappointing thing was meal at Papillon restaurant desk. Vegetable soup and dessert were ok, but main meal was bad. Chicken snitzel like thing was frozen from supermarket and then put to oven or something like that. Was edible but not good at all. There was only one set menu. At restaurant was around hundred people but everything was well organised. At booking was no option without meal. My suggestion is it should be like three set menus to choose from. Only option was chicken or vegetable lasagna for vegetarian/vegans. Star gazing was the best experience. That night sky is the best place to see stars you can find as no clouds (they are below where you are) and no light pollution. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
Amazing! Completely worth the money, we had an amazing day and even more spectacular evening with the incredible Jasper/ Jesper (sorry, don't know the spelling!) who was simply amazing - so friendly, knowledgeable and made the evening truly spectacular. Our coach driver was also incredible. Fantastic stops to see the amazing views and landscapes, amazing dinner with large portions included, and the stargazing and telescopes really were incredible. Remember to bring a jacket as it can get chilly even in August! Seeing the sunset was a remarkable experience. I really recommend. If booking via TUI, don't forget to book via the TUI app for a 10% discount. One thing that could be better - the pickup location is quite some way from TUI BLUE Atlantic Hills - it would be nice if it could have been a direct pick up from the hotel. I also wouldn't recommend this for children - it is definitely an adults trip. Definitely the best trip we've ever done - thank you!
What an amazing experience this trip was for all of our family! In our opinion it was well worth the money that we paid for it, it was a full 8 hour excursion. We got picked up just up the road from our hotel at 3.30pm and got back at around 1.15am! Alvusto (probably spelt that wrong!), our driver was amazing on the tiny roads up to the national park and Helena our guide was really knowledgeable and friendly. I’d read some poor reviews about the restaurant but we had no complaints, the food was quite ok, I was expecting worse after what I’d read but we thought it was alright. We honestly do not have a negative comment to make on this trip, there was lots of stops, gorgeous views and it felt so surreal! We were up there on the night of the solar eclipse too which made it even more special. The stargazing…… we’ve never seen anything like it!! Definitely one we’d all recommend! 🌋✨🔭
An Unforgettable Experience Teide by Night was an absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience! 🌋✨ Our host, Isabelle, was absolutely fabulous — incredibly knowledgeable, warm, friendly, and such a lovely person. She made the whole experience even more special with her stories and insights. Our driver was also one of the best! Excellent driving throughout, making us feel safe and comfortable as we travelled up and back down the mountain. A truly wonderful evening from start to finish. I would highly recommend Teide by Night to anyone visiting Tenerife. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Exceptional Teide Sunset, Stargazing & Dinner Experience This was without a doubt one of the highlights of our stay in Tenerife. The combination of the breathtaking Teide landscape, a spectacular sunset above the clouds, a delicious dinner, and fascinating stargazing made for an unforgettable experience. A special mention goes to our driver, Oswaldo, who was incredibly skilled, professional, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey on the winding mountain roads. Our guide, Isabelle, was outstanding. Her knowledge of Tenerife, Mount Teide, astronomy, and the local environment was impressive. She shared information in a way that was both educational and entertaining, with a great sense of humour that kept the group engaged throughout the day and evening. The stargazing session was truly magical. Seeing the night sky from such a unique location, with Isabelle’s expert explanations, brought the experience to life. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tenerife. The organisation, scenery, food, transport, and guiding were all first-class. A perfect mix of nature, learning, and fun. Thank you, Oswaldo and Isabelle, for an amazing day and evening! 5/5 stars. 🌅✨🔭
We did a tour on August 13, 2026, with Helena and our amazing bus driver (whose name I unfortunately forgot 🙈). We chose this specific tour because it offered plenty of daytime hours at Mount Teide, unlike other tours that focus mostly on the evening. The pickup was right on time, and after just one more stop, we were on our way to the national park. We were picked up at 15.40 and dropped off again around 00.15. Helena was fantastic, she shared great knowledge and interesting facts in clear English that was very easy to follow, even for non-native english speakers. Our bus driver was also extremely kind and even offered to take photos of me and my sister together. Communication throughout the day was very clear regarding the schedule, driving times, and well-managed toilet breaks. As a picky eater, I was a bit nervous about the food, but it turned out better than expected! For the sunset, we were taken to a lovely, uncrowded spot where we stayed on one side of the road exclusively with our group of about 40 people, complete with a complimentary Nestea. But the absolute star of the show was the stargazing. You truly won’t believe how dark it gets and how many stars you can see, it is simply breathtaking. We stopped near the cable car station where four telescopes were set up, so we barely had to wait in line. Overall, an amazing experience with plenty of stops to fully enjoy Teide National Park both by day and night!
Excellent trip made possible by our guide Isabel who was very knowledgeable. As well as observing the night sky which is amazing at that altitude, Isabel explained the local geology of the Teide national park.
Wonderful stargazing with Jesper navigating us through the skies with an amazing talent to draw it so it becomes visually readable for us amateurs. He made the whole day a more fulfilling experience with his storytelling and wit. Only downside to the whole trip was the food at the restaurant which was pretty bland but our dining company made it interesting and fun.
A really good day out for the whole family. You get the whole experience, a day trip to explore the national park with its volcanic history. Great views in all directions and the star of the Show Mount Teide. A three course meal with drinks included. Then a unique sunset followed by Star gazing. Yasper our guide was brilliant. Very knowledgeable about the Volcano park and so enthusiastic about the night sky. It may at first sight look expensive but you'll have a fantastic memory forever and well worth the money. There is the added benefit of escaping the heat for the day. Fit the day out in the middle of your holiday and it will refresh you for your vacation.
An amazing day / night spent with Lena our guide and Osvaldo our driver, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough, we were spoiled for the fact that alongside the stargazing it coincided with a partial solar eclipse, and perseids meteor shower. A veritable Hat Trick of cosmic phenomenon. Lena was both knowledgeable and personable, she had a passion for the stars and that was infectious. The sunset, and the stargazing was fantastic 10/10 or 5 ⭐ if you prefer . Sharing Amazing Moments. The photos don’t do it justice at all, an old man with an IPhone, go and see it for yourself
Teide by Night was easily the highlight of our recent trip to Tenerife! The experience started with a scenic drive up the winding roads, offering incredible views along the way. The sunset was breathtaking, and the stargazing was truly out of this world—made even better by our guide's vast knowledge. Both my wife and our 7-year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed it!
We had an amazing tour. We received an informative guided tour filled with lots of interesting facts and information. The sunset was absolutely spectacular, and stargazing was breathtaking. We would also like to thank you for the safe transportation. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. ✨🌅🌌
Amazing, interesting & fun experience. We booked with Tenerife Channel Excursions. The clean modern coach picked us up from our hotel and we were welcomed on board by our wonderful Swedish guide Jesper, whom speaks excellent English. Jesper is very knowledgeable about the cosmos & the history of Tenerife and also very funny 😁. I loved listening to Jesper talk throughout the full excursion keeping us fully informed of the stop off points & educating us along the way. 10/10 to Jesper, thank you. The meal was delicious with unlimited drinks, the stop off photo points were stunning locations resembling the surface of Mars or a Star Wars scene more than Earth! An Excursion i highly recommend and if you're lucky enough to have Jesper as your guide you will thoroughly enjoy & remember this experience for life.
A very good evening. Lots crammed in the time. Pick up, drive up the mountain, stop off's , three course meal. Star gazing. Incredible sunset scenes.
What an absolutely unforgettable experience! The Teide by Night excursion was wonderful from beginning to end. Seeing Mount Teide during the day, watching the sunset from such a spectacular setting, and then seeing the silhouette of the volcano beneath the stars felt incredibly special. The stargazing session was fascinating and made the whole evening feel truly magical. The restaurant where we stopped for dinner was lovely, and every member of the crew was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our guide, Nico, was exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable — a genuine walking encyclopaedia — but also warm, entertaining and able to make everyone feel like part of the family. He really made the experience particularly memorable for us. This was one of the highlights of our holiday and something we will never forget. I would highly recommend Teide by Night to anyone visiting Tenerife.
Overall the experience was very good. Niko the guide was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. Oswaldo the driver was excellent too. I thought the price was good too, I booked directly with teidebynight and it was cheaper than any of the excursion places were offering. We got picked up at 15:50 and got dropped back off at about 23:30 Firstly stopped off at a small cafe where you could try and traditional coffee there (which was really nice) Secondly up to a viewing point, followed by another viewing point. Then to a restaurant where it was a set menu of: pumpkin soup for starter. Chicken schnitzel, Canadian potatoes and mixed veg for main. Chocolate mousse for desert. Complimentary drinks were on the table too. On from the meal, we went to watch the sunset.. I thought the spot could of been better as I've seen videos on social media of much better places to watch the sunset. After sunset we went to stargaze and look through the telescopes at the stars. My only complaint is that the coach we were on was meant to be only English speaking. Over half of the coach were not English and were speaking in there own languages over the top of the guide almost every time the guide was giving information out about the tour or the history of the place. The guide did ask for the coach to stop talking over the top of him while he was giving information out, but this didn't stop any of the foreign people speaking over the top of him, they simply laughed when he asked the coach to stop. Apart from that the experience was good, but maybe have more control over people talking over the top of the guide as essentially we have paid for the experience of being told information about the places we are going to see etc.
Elena the guide was excellent - knowledgeable and friendly Bus was air con and high quality Stars are amazing Restaurant served over a hundred people really promptly and well (although meal itself was a little ordinary) The road up is very windy, if you get travel sick best to be prepared with sweets or medicine
Fabulous evening. Our guide Isabelle was wonderful, very knowledgable and engaging. Ruben drove us safely around and the views were amazing. Would definitely recommend this trip. One improvement would be to give more time after the stargazing/telescopes to take photos before getting on the bus back.
Our Teide by Night trip was nothing short of magical. From the moment we set off, the entire experience felt thoughtfully curated, beautifully paced, and full of wonder. Watching the sun melt into the horizon above the clouds was breathtaking, but it was the stargazing that truly stole the show — the sky over Teide is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. A very special shout‑out to Elena, who made the night extraordinary. Her knowledge, passion, and storytelling brought the landscape and the stars to life. She explained everything with such clarity and enthusiasm that even the most complex constellations felt easy to understand. Beyond her expertise, she brought warmth, humour, and a personal touch that made everyone feel welcome and engaged.
We had a fabulous trip from start to finish- our guide was so knowledgeable and we learnt such a lot about the stars. The food and drinks were great, as were the stops for exploring the national park, the sunset and ultimately the telescopes at the end. We were all very well looked after. Thank you so much to our guide and wonderful driver!
We really enjoyed this trip , it is very good value for money , you get a long trip up into the volcano crater, plenty of opportunities for photos etc , you get a 3 course meal the watch the sunset, then star gazing and telescopes
This experience was well worth the cost , the guide we had was well informed and told us lots of interesting information, the sunset was glorious and the star gazing was above expectations, it would habe been good if the telescopes could have been longer as we only looked at 3 things
Amazing tour and the highlight of our holiday. The tour guide (Belgian man, forgot his name) was fantastic and made everyone feel welcome from the second we got on the bus. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all questions. The bus itself was large and comfortable. Food was fine at the restaurant. A great evening.
This is the best excursion I have ever been on. We went for the stargazing but loved the whole experience, the national park and watching the sunset over the clouds. Jasper, our guide was completely customer focused, from pick up to drop off. Group numbers were good and although it was a bit pricey, it was great value for money and the dinner although quite basic was delicious and fresh and hot.
Having a love of all things nature we found this trip amazing . The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly . The caldera, sunset and stargazing we all spectacular in their own right and we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to take in our surroundings and take photos. Felt very good value for money as a 3 course meal and drinks were included . Would highly recommend this trip and we would go again
Was very impressed with this trip, we went mainly for the star gazing but found the tour of the volcano really interesting, the guild made the coach trip up and through the volcano fascinating and really informative. The meal was lovely. The star gazing was great, really clear sky's and again the guide surprised me with her knowledge. She made sure that everyone got a decent look through the telescopes and explained what we were seeing, but also showed us many of the constellations and was able to answer all my questions in detail. The location for the star gazing was in a car park, which meant that some random cars would turn up and spoil our night vision with their headlights, but I understand this is going to change soon, but that is my only complaint. Overall a fantastic and memorable trip, well worth the money and thank you to our guide, Alaina I think.
Amazing experience! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. We visited Teide, enjoyed a breathtaking sunset, had a delicious dinner, and finished the evening with an unforgettable stargazing experience through telescopes. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, and the whole tour was smooth and well planned. One of the highlights of our trip to Tenerife. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you want to see the park in comfort, this is the tour to do. The bus made lots of stop along the way and highlighted the incredible landscape of the park. We had plenty of places to use the bathroom, get pictures, and had an incredible meal with the highlight and the end; the stars. It was a full moon, so Jasper tried to show us as much as possible before the moonlight took over. It was a long day, but well worth it.
It was a great experience, seeing not only a beautiful sunset with stars, but also taking a tour around mount Teide which we did not initially plan and was great that we got to see it. The fee was definitely worth it for money as we say Teide, a sunset, the stars with telescopes, and even a full course meal. Length was fine for the amount of activities given and worthwhile. I did expect however to see the stars we can already see with the naked eye, through telescopes, zoomed in, instead of just constellations far away of dots - but as unknowledged as I am on stars and constellations, I believe there may be a reason we can’t see things too close up. Telescopes were okay, but stargazing and seeing the night sky in its perfect atmosphere was fantastic. We had a great time, and enjoyed it a lot.
Fabulous trip. Very well organised with a good range of stops, allowing you to appreciate the national park. The star gazing experience was super and our guide, Jasper was very knowledgeable. I'd recommend this trip!
We took this fantastic trip in June 2026. It was everything we were told it would be. Our Swedish guide was very knowledgeable, funny, courteous and accommodating at all times. The transport, food and beverages were excellent. The tour was well planned, with the essentials such as food and toilet breaks well planned and organised.
Niko was our tour guide! He was absolutely amazing, so knowledgeable about Tenerife, and the star gazing - lovely tour learned so much, and got amazing photos
The transport was first class and very efficient. The food was nice and there were plenty of stops to drink and use the facilities. Most of all, the guide was entertaining and very knowledgeable and made the trip worthwhile.
Fabulous tour guide, he was Swedish, definitely knew his information, the stars, planets, lots of stops along the way, to get off and take photo's, you don't have to keep getting off if you don't want to, 3 course meal was good, chiken, gravy, potatoes, and veg. mixture of red, white, wine at the tables, beer, coke, fanta, and water, if you want a different drink pay separately at the bar, tea and coffee available also at a separate cost, and chocolate mousse, gift shop on site, you can also sit outside with a drink, the coach ride up and winding and you keep climbing up and up, the bus driver knew the roads, especially on a few of the tight bends, also drinks at sunset view peppermint tea, fruit flavoured teas which was nice, the sights you see up high above the clouds is amazing, you really have to see it for yourself, went with 19,year old daughter and 16 year old son, they really enjoyed it too, the overall trip was extremely well organised, told you what was going to happen for the evening,
fantastic from start to finish! loved being able to see and experience so much of the national park and the your guide’s perspective and knowledge was very impressive! the first stop at the little coffee shop in the mountains was so cute and a phenomenal view. i appreciated how many times we actually got off the bus to be able to actually take in the views face to face, rather than just through a window. dinner was exceptional, being that they offered a lot of food and wine (our table didn’t even finish the bottles lol), and complimentary beer when you first walk in :). the stargazing was like no other, with and without the telescope. to the naked eye, because the sky was so clear, the amount of stars one could see was insane. seeing it then up close and through a telescope was breathtaking. getting a view of the moon through the telescope was even more special :’), so do make sure to book when the moon is in a visible phase! the drop offs at the end of the tour did take a little more time than expected, but the entire experience was not defined or impacted by that at all.
The guide was very good. She was very informative with a pleasant personality. The food unfortunately was what I would say was very below par, as I looked around 90% of people eating did not finish their plate 30% of them only just touched it so I would definitely not recommend the food. Chicken with beef gravy was not a highlight.
