Sup Standup Paddling And Snorkeling Shared Experience

From the time we booked, they got in touch to make sure we had all the info we needed. The experience was great, though we then learned the wind in the morning could have been better for paddling. The snorkeling expedition was great too. All very relaxed, felt safe and achieved both standing up and seeing some cool fish. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time, we went in April over easter and it was just us with the guide. We were picked up and dropped back to our hotel. Mara our guide was lovely and explained everything in a really easy to understand way. She was very encouraging but also left us to get to grips with what we felt comfortable with. It was a little difficult to stand up sometimes depending on the wind. Mara also took some photos of us while on the boards. After our paddleboarding was finished we did some snorkeling and saw some fish swimming about. Overall was a wonderful experience and a great way to spend part of a day!

This trip was the perfect mix of SUP and Snorkeling. The instructor (Laura) was great, explained everything very well, and no pressure out on less confident individuals. Recommend very highly for first timers, or people who have not done it in a while. I promise once you get stood up, it becomes super addictive!

Our group ranged from 21 to 45, we all throughly enjoyed the SUP and scuba diving. A great afternoon with an amazing guide

A wonderful morning spent paddle boarding in the crystal sea at Playa Flamingo. Highly recommend doing this if you are staying in Playa Blanca. We did a 3k tour around the coast. Snorkelling was also good, and found it easy to spot fish near the walls. We are experienced, but we appreciated the care and diligence taken by the dive centre staff as we saw how they helped the beginners on their boards. Mara was great and we were able to change our plan to another less windy day, they are flexible with bookings and want you to have the best experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This experience was amazing, perfect for beginners and those more experienced un SUP to enjoy the beach in a different way. We saw so much sea life during the snorkeling. Also the staff were so kind and informative

Such a great day out! Laura our guide was fantastic. We got picked up at our hotel and taken to the beach, we got a full run down of how to use the paddle boards and what we were doing for the afternoon. Beautiful place to paddle and we even managed out of the bay and out onto the sea. Snorkeling afterwards was awesome aswell, Laura took us through all the fish we were likely to see and helped us all to see as much as possible. I would highly recommend booking up if you are on hols in the area. My wife, my son and I had a great time.

We had a fab time. It was really windy so standing on the SUP was limited, but we really enjoyed paddle boarding in the bay. Snorkelling along the rocks was great as well - we saw lots of fish - more than we expected. Our host / instructor was great, and told us what fish to expect - showing us in book, before we went.

We did the beginner session down on flamingo beach and it was awesome.. If you want to try something different and fun this should be up there on your list. You feel totally supported and encouraged by the guide who will give you all the instruction and encouragement. You are gonna fall but that's part of the fun, the key is to keep getting back on.. Before you know it you will be standing and wanting more lessons, the added snorkeling at the end blew us away seeing soo many fish..... Do it.. You won't regret it 🐠

I made the booking with the great intentions of having some holiday fun with my partner but on arrival to the meeting point at flamingo beach we were disappointed to see nobody there . We gave it a further 15 minutes as we know sometimes people can be slightly delayed due to pick up options etc. We then rang Dive College Lanzarote on the number provided on the ticket , after several attempts to make contact we were then told that they never checked the bookings . The only reason I went with SUP and snorkeling experience was due to the vast amount of good reviews and ratings. Maybe these were self proclaimed reviews or written by friends of the operators. Not a very professional service in my humble opinion. If you do choose to go and book maybe ring them the day before to confirm even though it should be the other way around .

We had a fun trip around playa de Papagayo. Mara was an excellent guide and knowledgable of the waters and sea life in the area. We stopped off and did some snorkelling and there was so much to see.

Best tour ever! I couldn't believe the wealth of wildlife just beneath the water, so close to shore. Not having been snorkeling before I was a little nervous, but Vince, our guide, was great, his enthusiasm was infectious and once in the water I felt completely safe. I really enjoyed my afternoon. Unfortunately, there was a mistake on the Viator website which allowed me to book my transfer from Puerto Calero. It was only on the day of the tour I found this wasn’t possible and had to get the public bus or €60 return taxi. This was disappointing. Upon arrival, I was picked up at the bus station and taken to the sheltered beach to meet Mara. She gave clear instructions and all equipment was ready. The weather was great for paddle boarding and we went along the coast a little distance. When we returned, we did the snorkelling part of the trip and Mara explained what fish we may see and what they looked like. My only criticism was that, with 5 of us, we were not kept together and I hadn’t noticed that the others had started to return to shore. On the whole, it was a very enjoyable day which ended with me running for the bus. If you can get your own way to Playa Blanca, I’d definitely recommend.

Great place to loan a SUP, I get bored sitting on beach so found these guys and real easy rental. Gets a bit windy out there but that adds to the fun 🤩

Paddle boarding session at Playa Flamingo beach was amazing. Session started promptly at 10am in a small group of just 7. Good mixture of adults and children in our group. Equipment was excellent and tuition. Session was meant to be 1.5 hours but lasted 2 hours. Instructor was so friendly and put everyone at their ease and remained with the group at all times. Would highly recommend as it was a great experience for our family. You can also come back at a later date and just hire the paddle board to practice yourself.

Mara was very friendly and she gave us many good info about paddling on the open ocean on our own. Snorkeling was realy great as we were able to see many different fishes. Recommend!

This paddleboarding experience was so much fun! We were both total beginners, but Mara guided us through it and we were standing up and enjoying ourselves in no time. The session takes place in the Flamingo beach cove, so there were quite a lot of other swimmers and paddle boarders all around that we had to steer around - so not quite as private as we had expected from the photos but nonetheless had a blast and would absolutely do it again.

Such an incredible experience, I was lucky enough to have Mara to myself. I have paddled before but never been confident. Mara was so gentle and encouraging I was standing up after only 30 mins. The water was beautiful and clear and we could see lots of fish, also scary crabs on the rocks! It was a really unforgettable trip.

Easy to book, good value, lots of fun The experience is ran by the Dive Centre who have a base in the grounds of H10 Timanfaya Palace. I was not staying in Playa Blanca so met Mara on the Flamingo beach (this is very easy, it's a small bay and only one person laying out boards!). Was able to store my bag at the Timanfaya Palace, though it's fine to leave non-valuables on the beach. Mara was a great teacher, got us on the boards straight away & gave lots of space for you to go at your own pace, very glad I did lessons rather than just hiring equipment as knowing how to do it properly makes it much more enjoyable! Beautiful place & experience, could have stayed all day. Contact made by Mara via Whatsapp once booked on the Viator website which was also great to know everything was confirmed.

Fantastic experience. Maia was very knowledgeable about the fishes we would see and an experienced paddleboarder and diver. I paddle at home, but I know that the sea can be cruel and would therefore not venture into unknown waters alone. Maia gave me confidence to go out into the ocean and understand the tides. The snorkeling was really good, this is something I haven't done for a long time and it was fabulous to see all the different fish so close. Will definitely book again next time we are in Lanzarote

Amazing experience with our guide Mara who is very friendly and picked us up from our hotel. The guided tour was fantastic with beautiful views and felt very safe. It was my favourite part of the holiday! Lovely snorkelling at the end with lots of fish to see.

This was our first time paddle boarding and snorkelling and we were both a bit nervous about doing it but Bart who was running it for the day was so patient and helpful towards us. It was a fantastic experience and probably our favourite part of our holiday in Lanzarote. You get to paddle out around the coast line as well as being able to see some great sites underwater whilst snorkelling.. They pick you up from your hotel and even offered us a lift back if we wanted to. I think they really go above and beyond to make it a great experience for you. Couldn’t recommend this enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our session with Mara paddle boarding and experiencing snorkelling for the first time. Mara explained everything well including ocean safety and how to use the snorkel; she was very supportive and encouraging making the whole experience so enjoyable. Mara pointed out the different fish and even a Barracuda. Definitely recommend booking this activity with Mara.

First time snorkelling and paddle boarding. The lady Mara who runs this is so friendly and kind and was so patient with us when trying to master the skill of both paddle boarding and snorkelling. Great fun and would recommend to anyone who would like a taster session when on their holidays

We really enjoyed this trip, we were picked up from our hotel by Mara who was friendly and professional. She is based at the gorgeous Hotel Timanfaya Palace and our SUP and snorkelling was from Flamingo Beach, schedule changed a bit due to stronger winds a bit less SUP, more snorkelling. Excellent equipment and relaxed informative instruction - we all managed to master standing on the boards. Saw ray, wrasse, junior barracuda, when snorkelling, it was pretty amazing!

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our trip very much. The guides were just fantastic, very patient, very polite and extremely helpful. There was also a lot of knowledge, which was excellently imparted. That's what SUP has to be like. The snorkeling after the soup was fantastic again from the point of view of the care, but the snorkel spot was not really particularly nice, but the provider can't help it.

Just a wonderful experience! Great location, excellent guide, very good equipment, everything fit. Only calmly introduced to SUP and then cooled down while snorkeling and admired fish.

Mara was fantastic, she contacted us immediately after booking and made herself available for all our requests right away. The day was beautiful even if the weather was not the best, both the SUP lesson and the Snorkeling will be two experiences that I will remember. I recommend to all those who want to try something different from the classic tourist activities to rely on this activity, I am sure you will be satisfied and at the end of the day you will still be thinking about it.
