⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A brilliant experience for me and my daughter. We'd never done anything like this before and loved every minute of it. Everything was really well organised from the moment we arrived, with friendly staff who made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The submarine itself was impressive, and it was fascinating to sit below the surface and watch the marine life and seabed through the viewing ports. It was something a bit different from the usual holiday activities and turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Lanzarote. A great experience to share together and definitely worth the money. I'd happily recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

Whole trip about an 1 hour and 15 mins, including a brief safety meeting. It doesn’t matter what side you sit on, you see the same both sides as they turn the sub around. My son and I really enjoyed it and €8 for a photo seemed reasonable as well. Would recommend.

Well worth going to my partner was not so fussed about going but even she said it was a great experience. Price wise reasonable for what you are getting and the pictures you can get at the gift are again reasonable I was expecting to have my pants pulled down but that wasn’t the case plus you get a certificate free . The Staff at centre are so helpful too and the lady behind the counter tried to get us taxi when she didn’t need to and we really appreciated that .

Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. If your a person who gets warm quickly bring and hand fan in a small bag. Well worth it great experience. Something we would not ever get to see only for it, as my husband can not swim and I can only swim a little. Well done to all staff 👏

The submarine tour was the main reason I came to Lanzarote, and thanks to this experience, I had the opportunity to discover this incredible island. The experience itself was amazing, and I highly recommend it! It’s perfect for families with children, but also a great activity if you’re travelling alone.

Don’t understand how this is rated so high. Got boring really quick and only saw 2 different types of fish. Expensive for what it is. Can do much funner, whole days out in lanzarote for cheaper.

When booking make sure you book a pick up, was a good expirience and staff were very informative, see many different fish and 3 or more ship wrecks !

What an awesome experience from start to finish did not know what to expect the staff on the submarine and in shop are amazing would definetly recommend it

The submarine experience was fabulous but the coach driver and courier let the whole experience down due to their unhelpfulness and lack of communication. The return coach was 25minutes late with no apology or explanation. They could have notified the submarine reception to let the waiting passengers know about the late coach and then we could have all bought a drink or even a look around the market

Bus 30 mins late, did call me to say same, not very much guidance on where to go, Follow the crowd pretty much so keep up , very hot on the submarine but some AC, if you're tall can't see out window very well unless bent over the entire time. On way back again no guidance and missed our stop as was different from pickup . Eventually asked where they going back on the route to be told no and get off here in a different town miles from our initial pickup area , no direction for bus stop or how to get home with 4 young children in the hot midday sun , stumbled across a bus stop after walking amlisley around and relied on a very nice local to help. Over all great experience Poor organisation and customer service , the not my problem attitude was alive and well. Maybe don't like tourists but happy to take almost €300 off me.

Well organised. Good view of fish and shipwrecks . Our grandson wants to go again. Lots of space and everyone has window access. Expensive but worth it.

Shocking, very disappointed. Saw 2 different fish which I appreciate isn't out of the operators hands, but 30 mins for 101 euros is a joke. Ypu can see many more fish from the marina, just bring bread from your hotel!

The trip was very interesting and exciting. I’ve never been in a submarine before and couldn’t wait to see what was down there. It was also cheaper to book on the Viator app than the submarine shop. They said we are out for an hour but it’s more like 40 minutes.

If you’re seeking a unique experience, this is the place to be. We’ve been to this place three times now, and each time, there’s something new to discover. From the moment we were picked up to the safety briefing, and everything in between, from boarding to diving and the return trip, the entire process was seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend it!

Great experience everything on time at a good price and not to long 4 ish hours. Brilliant experience in the submarine and not to many people staff where friendly and helpful. Great experience in a submarine under water when I can't even swim.

Lovely experience. It is a little on the dear side but when compared with other excursions, it's worth it. Unique and very well organised. We loved it and would recommend.

We booked the excursion including pick up and transfer from our resort. Unfortunately the bus picking us up had a few problems prior to our stop so we left 25 mins late. This resulted in a very rushed journey there and the beginning of the experience. We were asked to sit down quickly to listen to the safety video and our group was walked rapidly to the submarine for our dive. To get onto the submarine you have to start with a walk across a boarding ramp floating on the water. There are no handrails and we found in rather wobbly and difficult to balance on so if you are unsteady on your feet please be mindful of this. This may have been caused by our whole group having to walk on it together at quite a speed but it’s something to keep in mind. Getting down into the submarine was easier than we had anticipated. Although you do have to step down through a hatch onto an almost vertical ladder there are rails you can hold onto and steady yourself all the way. Getting down and back up again we found no issues with for the older or younger people in our group. We didn’t have ‘We all live in a yellow submarine” playing sadly. The dive was good. We saw many fish, shipwrecks and the optional commentary was informative enough without being too much. The staff in the main building and on the submarine could have been more welcoming and cracked a smile now and then. Overall we had a lovely time. Whether the issues we did encounter were caused by our late arrival we can’t say but it was an experience we are glad we did.

Was a great experience. A little bit pricey but still worth it. The experience lasts about 1 hour. The staff are very friendly.

This is a brilliant experience. We booked online and saved a couple of euro but regardless it was great value. On the submarine for about an hour. There is a headset with tour info in multiple languages. We saw loads of different fish and the ship wrecks are also great to see. The whole experience is something different and we wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.

The experience was fabulous, my grandson loved it. Worth the money. I would certainly recommend. It was great service pick up/drop off from Hotel. It was an hour in the submarine. Staff were friendly and informative

We were told included in the price is collect and drop off at your hotel. We were told we would be collected at 9.45 and to be ready. We were waiting at 9.30 just to be sure. Collected 10.10. Driver then set off on a mission, I think he may have been running late. Got to the submarine office and was there about 15 minutes , no time to do anything else, then escorted to submarine. The ride was comfortable and not cramped but all we saw were the same 3 types of fish and some wrecks of fishing boats. That was it. 30 mins. Back to the office for 12.00 as bus collecting us 12.25. No time to get a coffee or hot food from cafes. On bus then told by driver our drop off was not elba,our hotel, but flamingo bay. I argued and said no it is not. We have a 4 year old and we paid pick up and drop off hotel. A lady who I think was guide, said she will sort. We then endured whacky races for driver to get round. We were dropped off but left sour taste. For 65 euro it was not worth the effort or time. You decide.

We loved this - we saw a sting ray before we'd even left the harbour! Loads of fish, the shipwrecks are cool and just a great experience. Everyone gets their own seat and it's not at all claustrophobic (which I was worried about). In reality, I don't think the submarine goes far, but it doesn't need to. There are toilets before you leave and toilets when you get back off the submarine, but none on it. They do give you time to go to them, too.

Absolutely fantastic! My little boy is 2 so was just old enough to go and he loved it, was just the right time underwater for little ones not to get bored. Saw lots of fish and the shipwreck was really interesting. Fantastic and unique morning out! The submarine safari base is centred near lots of market stalls too so lots to do whilst you wait. We booked as an excursion but tickets were around €20 cheaper to buy direct, though if you’re staying far away it may work out the same by the time you’ve paid for a taxi etc. Fantastic, would definitely recommend!

What an amazing experience, would definitely do it again! Saw a variety of fishes and was under the water for around half an hour after we left the harbour.

Interesting to see the shipwrecks and how the fish live in the sea living around them, nice to hear about what happened to them and other things about under the water around Lanzarote

We went with the bus pickup option as I dont have a hire car, the pickup was a very short walk from our hotel to accommodate all the other pickups in the area which was great. The tour operator was fantastic, spoke all languages as required and answered my daft questions. The submarine itself was awesome, everything was clear, no unnecessary waiting around and the audio on the submarine really added to the experience so you could see what you're looking at.

It was superb and I saw about a million fish some big some small. The workers were very nice and caring. I would recommend this to anyone who is in Lanzarote!

It’s a good experience and the kids loved it but the safety brief is robotic and feels like being herded in numbers to the submarine- some human interaction would make it better- we had a wheelchair and no one offered any information on this - too much focus on numbers through the door rather than guest experience for what is pricy for an hours trip

We really enjoyed the submarine experience, we went as a family of 8. And enjoyed every minute of it, especially Sue that worked in the submarineSafaries. She spoke brilliant English and made me and our family very welcome in store. Greeted us with a smile and interacted with our little ones. We had two pictures printed out and one we had was good the other my son wasn’t looking but they had printed the both. Sue gave us the both prints for the price of the one, because it would only be destroyed. I hope this lovely woman didn’t get in trouble for showing decent human skills. I would highly recommend this experience.

Would highly recommend this experience, we were taken under the ocean to see the marine life and shipwrecks. I am quite scared of the open water but felt so safe and secure on the vessel and it helped conquer the fear of the ocean for me! We saw all kinds of fish such as angel sharks and sea bream and was guided through 3 shipwreck locations. I would definitely recommend this attraction for people of all ages to visit!

We unfortunately didn't enjoy this. We found it incredibly short, didn't see much at all and overall definitely lacked the personal touch. Felt very much like they just wanted our money and on to the next group when buying our pictures after. I can't recommend this tour to anyone unless you just want to tick it off the list and beag that you went on a "submarine". Spoke with them after regarding the shortness of the trip, and was told time fly's when you're having fun!

Had a fantastic time on tge submarine, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The audio system on the submarine allows you to choose yoir language, then gives you a full, detailed commentary throughout. Would definitely recommend giving this a try! We were lucky enough to see and angel shark, a couple of big rays as well as lots of different fish too

We had a good day, its well planned. We started off by being collected by the bus that collected us, on time. Caution thou, many will book this trip, and will be collected by the bus. You have a collection time, be there 5 mins before that. Our bus waited for 3 mins after our scheduled time, and left. to go to another hotel. We believe there were others that were booked from hotel, but as they did not make it on time, the bus left. So ne on time, or early to avoid disappointment. When we got to the area, you have a safety briefing. You then have approx 15 mins spare time to wander round the shops / market that are in the town. You are then go to the sub, have your picture taken, and go down some steep steps in to the sub. Another safety briefing, and you are on your way. We actually saw a lot of fish whilst sat in the marina. When you are towed out and descend, and get to the shipwrecks i think it must be seasonal dependent on how many fish you can see? I was expecting to see more fish and species? The visibility is not as good as the pictures appear here? You do see various schools of fish, and i saw 1 grooper. The running commentary via headphones is very informative and interesting. Halfway thru the dive, the sub stops near the bottom, so passengers can get up and stretch their legs, and also make their way to the front to have a look at the cockpit. However, we could not do that, as the ones near the front got there first, and the sub tilted forward. By the time those of us sat in the middle could get up, it was time to for the sub to move again. Its pot luck where you sit, and the sub can only be stationary for a short time, but we did feel like we missed out on a different view, and to stretch legs. When you get back, you get a free certificate, and the chance to view and pay for the photo taken of you earlier by the staff. We then had approx 30 mins of free time before our guide took us back to the bus.

Really fun experience. I did this when I was a child with my parents and whilst we were visiting Puerto Del Carmen for my best friend's 30th I felt that it was a must do! It is very safe and they take you through a safety video. We booked through Travelon for a discount, and it picked us ip right outside our hotel. We just let them know that we weren't taking the journey back as we decided to take the water taxi back to our resort. Don't forget to try and spot the cat in the souvenir shop!

It was a fantastic family trip to see the shipwrecks and fish. We could easily have stayed there all day. Nice little touch getting the certificate at the end. Would definitely recommend and do it again

Very well run, trip lasts around 40 minutes. We did it from a cruise ship and cab from port area was 30 euro, they gave us transport back to capital but the saving between cruise ship price with transport provided and doing it yourself was not worth the bother as sub holds a maximum of 44 people so that is the group size anyway.

Really enjoyed our recent trip! Very easy to book online and pick up was under 10 min walk from our hotel to the bus. A real novelty to experience life underwater! The sub dives to around 30m and you do get to see lots of fish shipwrecks and the occasional eel! It is possible that you might see more if the sub was to venture further out but honestly for the experience for an hour it was great and I expect the subs aren’t really built for that! Plus there’s a limit to what you can actually ‘see’ (without scuba gear/lighting etc etc!). 100% would recommend!

We really enjoyed the submarine trip. We weren't sure what to expect but the submarine was not cramped and scary like we thought it might be. Spacious and everyone had a seat and a viewing portal. There is a guided tour on headsets available in many different languages. And we learned some really interesting things as well as seeing things we never would do otherwise. You are down for about an hour and we thought it was quite reasonably priced. Really recommend.

From the moment you are picked up you are really well looked after the explain how everything is and will be the submarine is so cool you see so many different species and they do a photo shoot too Max the gent working the shop/office is such a great guy to chat too he really knows his stuff about his job I really recommend this group for your lanzarote excursions. This excursion is good for friends family’s couples and solo travelers

I went with daughter and 12 year old son, had an amazing experience, getting to see all the fish in their natural environment and the ship wreck , and head phones given for information, photo taken on the submarine, optional if u want to pay for it 8 euro , we did as don't think we will get an experience like that in the UK

If you are clostraphobic you will be ok as there is plenty of space to move around. The captains are very pleasant and there’s no fear there at all
