Absolutely brilliant. At one point, the lead Eva Rodriguez walked across the stage then seemed to be channeling and letting the choreography happen naturally, leading into an intense, incredible solo performance and overall the whole show was outstanding. Great footwork from the 3 dancers, very intense emotional connection. Halfway through, the two guys at the side (one playing a cajon and singing, the other on Spanish guitar), who were also excellent did a skit where it sounded like Led Zeppelin's Moby Dick before switching back to flamenco guitar. Great value for money and if you're in Puerto de la Cruz, it's well worth a good show...we would watch it again

• You will enjoy a wonderful Flamenco Show and Spanish classical dance • The Torre de Oro Group offers you a different show. The Timanfaya Teather is located in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz, from where it offers, both to international and resident public, a great variety of cultural proposals. In these magnificent facilities you can enjoy something typical Spanish: A Flamenco show with a duration of approximately 90 minutes. The Torre de Oro Group presents a different Show! Just sit back and let yourself go through the history of Spanish dance, where the only language that exists is the body, movement and passion expressed through classic “zapateando” and castanets. Known rhythms, from zarzuela to flamenco, such as “alegrías” and “sevillanas” among others, will accompany you in this emotional show.

It was an interesting performance. The dancers were good as was the music. The explanations felt unnecessary.
Nice show, bad location with kitchen seat. No option to select you place.
We enjoyed our visit to this little theatre. Very professional presentation with excellent dancing. Our seats had good view. The opening information shown on the screen was very interesting and clearly explained. It was good value. The only 2 downsides for us were the images projected onto the back screen whilst the dancers were performing - rather than enhancing these were very distracting and totally unnecessary. Also the first half of show was very modern and stylised. We would have preferred the whole show to be more traditional dancing or a least the modern ballet style to be in the middle of show rather than at the very beginning. But in all it was definitely worth going!
good show,very enjoyable ,many costumes
Very loud!! Take your ear defenders! Personally I didn’t like the music very traditional Spanish as you would expect. Female dancers talented. Males not so much. Lots of lovely colourful costumes. Lots of enthusiasm shown. Didn’t think much of the guitar player or man drumming a wooden box. Not in time with each other. Found the whole show discordant and loud. Put me off for life
We thought it was disappointing. It did not tell a story with dance and we were left wondering what it was all about. Have seen better Flamenco dances
An amazing way to experience a real flamenco night with some talented dancers and musicians. Great fun, highly recommend 👌
Performance was great in a small Theatre. But we paid about £84 for 2 people, which I think was a bit excessive! We bought the VIP tickets, which were more expensive then standard tickets. When we arrived we were told oh you can sit anywhere you like, so didn't have to buy the more expensive tickets. We also travelled a fair distance from Playa Paraiso by car to watch the show! Where we have an apartment. So have to say Performance was great, but not worth that price Peter & Yvonne
The show was excellent. The artists were amazing and we liked the variety of flamenco styles. We enjoyed the tremendously.
Wow! What a show. We enjoyed every second we learned a bit of Spanish history on the side too..would definitely recommend. Cheap and cheerful. Live Spanish guitar player and singer too which made it so worthwhile. Olay!
Informal and enjoyable relatively short (approx 75 minutes with no interval) but more than adequate performance of Spanish dance, with some film background and traditional live guitar and singing. It included what I took to be a modern interpretation of Flamenco as well as more classical dancing. Interesting.
Great experience! Exceeded expectations! Loved the show, and there was a great mix of choreography and music. I wasn't expecting some of the music to be live, which was a bonus.
Entertaining show, worth a visit. Interesting background to flamenco as well as energetic dancing and guitar. Nice atmosphere
Very enjoyable and authentic Spanish show in a cozy small local theater. Surprising what a great show was put together with only 4 dancers and 2 musicians. A definite recommend, if you are in town. Beats all the mainstream musicals that you can see anywhere else :-)
It was different but very amateurish, the dancers were out of time and the singing was flat, got the impression they weren't sure of what they were doing.
Enjoyed the show - interesting history of Flamenco 💃 as well as the dancing. Great guitar 🎸 & vocalist. Extremely loud for small theatre 🎭.
Amazing dancing and put on a great show! Costumes and dancing was very entertaining. We paid for the VIP seats but in my opinion no real difference to the normal seats so would say fine to book the normal seats. Very pleasant evening and throughly enjoyed!
This was not a real flamenco; the first half hour was kind of spanish flamenco balet - and I think it was not ballet nor flamenco. There were a waste screen, where there was different kind of images on the background, music was loud, and normal band music, no flamenco instruments, and was recorded. After half an hour it turned more like flamenco, but yet there were strange images on the screen, strings on the background etc. There was a gitarplayer, but music was at least partly recorded....If you wish to experience real flamenco, go somewhere else.
It was the 1st flamenco show I attended, and I liked it very much. A lot of effort was put in. It started with a general presentation of flamenco's origins, had no idea it was of gipsy origin.
Easy to find from the hotel and it was a great show. Gave the history of Flamenco and then showed us what it is. It was an exciting and informative. Well worth the money
Went with family of 4 with two teenagers. All loved it. The dancing was superb and the setting is great. Really welcoming staff and you have a good 30 minutes before the show to enjoy the house and have a drink. The restaurant and bar are also great and perfect for a meal beforehand and a drink after. An excellent night out. Would definitely recommend.
A beautiful, energetic, glamorous display of traditional music and flamenco dancing in an intimate environment.Special appreciation to Eva, the lead dancer who took the time after her stunning performance to allow every single audience member to have their photo taken with her, the mark of a real star. Sadly, as others have said, the anticipated, complementary glass of sangria didn’t happen.
Met my expectations, fabulous show, highly recommended! Pay a little more for VIP seats. Included the history of Flamenco.
It was an amazing show! Much more than traditional flamenco — it was at times orchestrated like a blend of classical ballet and flamenco, and at times a high-powered dance, guitar and percussion jam.
Absolutely world class, outstanding show. From the dancers to the musicians, I absolutely loved the show and didn't want it to end!! A show I had always wanted to see and I was not disappointed.
Entertaining show a bit over 1 hour long. The first part was a bit boring, but the second half was better. It was a little bit overly catered to tourism, perhaps there is a bit more authentic Flamenco elsewhere.
Dancers were passionate and to us appeared authentic kept us interested from start to finish. Musicians were also enjoyable, great night with my 25 year old daughter we both felt money well spent. When it finished the crowd did not want to leave the usher had to come in and say “show is finished time to leave”.
What an amazing show. The energy, the music and the costumes all top rate. Small theatre added to a special night. If you only see one show in Puerto del Cruz you must see this flamenco performance 👏
Very good mix of modern and traditional. Dancers and musicians excellent. Good comfortable theatre in central Puerto dal a Cruz Would recommend.
Spectacular show, presented in a very intimate setting. I was front row (of 2 rows) as I selected VIP seating. I highly recommend this, otherwise you are seated left and right of the stage with a number of rows. In hindsight I would have arrived earlier and had dinner before the show. The dancers were incredible, yhe musician and singer were fantastic! So authentic and traditional! Wonderful night and excellent value for money!! The host was also excellent and attentive! She asked the audience during the half time interval if anyone needed a taxi and ordered them to be there at the end of the show; walking each person(s) to their taxi with an umbrella. 10/10 Will be going again when I return to Tenerife!
Great show , highly recommended ! The dancing and singing was very good ! The costumes superb and changing in a féerie of colours ! Highly recommended !
Fantastic performance, extremely talented dancers and musicians. Great to see culture presented. Negatives from TripAdvisor promises in booking - you don't get to jump the queue and there was no sangria
This show is fantastic! Much better than I was expecting. Top quality performers, both the dancers and musicians. 100% recommended.
A brilliant show with amazing performances well worth every euro I was left exhilarated by the incredible performances combined with awesome music lighting and costumes
I was prepared to be disappointed as the flamenco aimed at tourists is all about building on stereotypes. It does the job perfectly in that sense, the first half of the "show" is horrifying for someone who knows what real flamenco is. Plenty of colours, (recorded) music pumping loudly - so you can't hear the dancers' feet and somebody had the great idea to have videos running behind the performers to divide your attention. After the first half hour or so (when I was seriously considering leaving) the real musicians arrived - the cajón player who also sang (obviously not a singer, but did a decent enough job); and the guitarist whose guitar was plugged in. Now, if you don't know flamenco it might not bother you, but a plugged in guitar (as in not amplified with a microphone) completely castrates the tone that you're supposed to hear, and for a guitarist like myself it turns the whole experience into one of horror. He was technically a very good player too - but typically the kind who overplays everything and wants to show off his skills. So these two musicians accompanied the same four dancers who basically re-dressed between each and every piece. We heard the usual things: alegrías, sevillanas, tangos, bulerías, even a soleá por bulería - and in the very end after the fiesta, the encore was.....Volare by the Gipsy Kings :D Wow, that was a real letdown. To sum it up, if you actually know what flamenco is supposed to look like, avoid this show like fire (and probably all the others aimed at tourists on this island). Otherwise if you're not too bothered, the show does exactly the job it's intended to do, show off the "passion" and "fire" and "hot latin blood" and whatever the hell they use to advertise flamenco. The dancers are decent enough (and I know for a fact it takes a good and dedicated dancer to even make it to these levels of performing, competition is so fierce), the main male dancer was actually really good and the supporting male dancer looked very skilled as well. If you want to see real flamenco, go to tablaos in Andalucia, or look up who the main performers are who perform regularly elsewhere in the country and the continent.
Very fun show, entertaining performers and a lovely way to spend the evening. But disappointed that there was no sangria as advertised, so I took a star off
We absolutely loved this show! Highly recommend. The dancers were incredible, we were blown away. The venue staff were so so lovely too!
A-ma-zing Really good show Showed flamenco dance in different styles using different percussions. The guitarist and singer was really good as well.
I booked this through TripAdvisor for hubby and myself back in the UK ready for our trip to Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. We both thoroughly enjoyed the Flamenco show which I found really interesting The dancer's were awesome as was the singer and guitar player
The show was absolutely amazing. The pure un filtered traditional flamenco. Highly recommend to everyone. The dancers did an amazing show ,representing the evolution of flamenco. We bein welcomed with sangria and proseco.
Excellent performance by supremely talented dancers and musicians. Includes an introduction on the history of Flamenco, which is good for giving the audience some context. A glass of bubbly or sangria was also provided to audience members at the end of the show that we went to.
Very good show. It starts off a bit slow, but; at the end the entire audience was really into it. It is definitely worth the price. We paid fir priority seating, and we’re in the front row of the theatre. I would go again.
Amazing Flamenco show with talented dancers and musicians! A great insight into the history of the dance style and a quintessential part of Spanish culture. Only criticism is the conduct of the lady at the door. We had paid for VIP tickets but she insisted that they weren't (without checking) until her colleague confirmed it. She also did not give us any information on what to do after; where to go/sit/etc, and was rather hostile. Beside that, very good experience. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent performance from all the dancers and musicians (apart from the celebration of bull fighting which ought to be a national embarrassment). Lovely theatre too.
Fabulous show, Flamenco and ballet, six artistes in total, and comfortable seats in Teatro Timanfya. There was a problem with the Viator booking however. - Our ticket promised "guaranteed skip the line", but we had to queue outside the theatre, and when we exchanged our digital ticket for a paper one, we had a further queue while waiting to be seated.
Show started underwhelmingly with 4 dancers going through balletic movements However when guitarist & percussionist -cum-singer joined in the show became first class & was very enjoyable and impressive Tickets said glass of sangria was included which we did not get which is very bad to advertise falsely
The show was great! We really enjoyed the dancing, the singing, and most of all the amazing guitarist. These crew is very talented, I would definitely recommend the show.
Great dancers and musicians, very well organized and a diverse program with many costumes, types of dances and songs. A definite ''must see'' if you are in Puerto de la Cruz, you won't regret it.
Excellent show , beautiful flamenco through the ages The guitarist & singer were superb All four dancers were so artistic Booked VIP which included a glass of sangria..... Pity we never got this !!!! Could have saved me money and booked normal
