Lola is absolutely AMAZING! There was a confusion with my booking - I somehow booked when she wasn’t even doing the tour that day; Lola went out of her way to come out and do a tour for me and my boyfriend alone! It was such a fun day, she is so knowledgeable about the island, and she is honestly the sweetest woman either of us have ever met! It felt like we were just out with a family member. We also did some things not mentioned in the tour just for fun, like going and seeing the rare flamingos on the salt flats, and stopping at a local market that we passed. The entire day was magical, the wines were lovely, the tapas was AMAZING even though I am a picky eater, finding olivina at the black beach was so much fun, and Los Charcones was the most magical of all, where Lola made sure to help us walk down safely and took so many nice pictures and videos of us. She was genuinely so much fun, and it didn’t feel like a tour at all - She is so friendly to everybody, and everyone knows her and makes sure to greet you warmly!! I would 1000% recommend, it is worth the money and much more. Will 100% be coming back just to see Lola and her dogs!! <33

Itinerary
As an island, Lanzarote is surrounded by wild, practically virgin beaches with little waves. In some of them the water is so calm that there are even natural pools. The breakwaters and the solidified lava on part of its coast have also caused the formation of pools and puddles on the seashore where one can soak and forget about time.
We will observe from the Mirador de Las Salinas de Janubio. Then we will go down to see the salt lagoons up close and we will go through the store where you can buy natural Janubio salts. These salt flats are the largest in the Canary Islands and constitute a high architectural and cultural value. Today they continue to produce the white gold they called it, salt, which was essential to the island's economy until not many decades ago. They are in a lagoon created by volcanic eruptions that created a lava barrier in front of the sea where the black beach of Salinas was also created by nature, with sand and tiny black rocks that contrast with the white foam with which the sea caress its shore.
We will go to the black beach of Janubio, where we will be surprised to observe the large lava rocks full of precious green stones called Olivina, the crystallization of the lava in contrast to the sea created this wonder of Lanzarote green, and sometimes fiery red. A walk along this beach finding treasures will be very relaxing and a great experience.
The Stop de Yaiza Tapas Bar is one of the places that should not be missed, the tapas are recipes from 1890 and the Malvasia Volcanica wines are from the house, we will make a stop to eat some tapas and recharge our batteries.
The incredible wine area called La Geria is the most ingenious sight to behold on the island, farmers devised a way to dig up their plants covered in volcano ash which at the same time has created a unique view of their fields. We will visit the wineries, the tasting is free and not included in the price.

Lola is the best!! She is as unique as her island. Touring with her gave us all a love for the island and a true feeling of what it has to offer. From the gorgeous hidden pools, to black sand beaches and amazing food. We loved our tour.
Lola's excursion was absolutely amazing. She took us to the most incredible places and we could clearly see how much she loves Lanzarote. The tour exceeded our expectations.
We had a great day with Lola on the south route. She's so patient, never rushed us, and everything went as planed. I would strongly recomend and for sure use her services again♥️
Lovely tour guide Lola 10/10 great knowledge of the island and experience very friendly and kind lady 😊 took me and my friends pictures all day and even made her own personalised video for her birthday. Amazing day out and memories made!! Highly recommend Lolas excursions!! 🌍
Lola was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about the island and where she took us and was a lot of fun. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with her.

A day's adventure to an array of sights with a charismatic guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate about each one.
Great tour! Lola is so knowledgeable about the island, and gave us a true local experience. Will definitely come back to Lanzarote!
What a brilliant day starting at El Golfo and seeing the rugged South of the Island. We had a great trip to two wineries to taste some of the fabulous local wine and cheeses. We had a beautiful traditional lunch in Bar Stop Yaiza and also visited the salt mines, natural pools and green lagoon. If was such a fun day and everyone including our teens enjoyed it immensely. Highly recommend a trip with Lola.
Fantastic day with Lola. Showing us parts of this beautiful island we simply wouldnt see on any bus tour, etc. Her energy, knowledge and personality make the full day very interesting and enjoyable.
I had an amazing day with Lola and a wonderful couple from Florida, Lynn and Bill. Lola is so much fun, educates you about her beautiful Island, brought us to the salt flats, pools, winery and an authentic restaurant for lunch, food was delicious and the nicest wine. I would highly recommend Lola if you are thinking of taking a tour of the island. Thank you for a wonderful day Lola.

We really enjoyed our day with Lola. She’s the absolute best! Funny, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. Will definitely schedule with her again!!!
The minute you meet Lola, you fall in love with her. Her enthusiastic personality is energizing. She is very knowledgeable and you can see she is in total love with her island. We had an amazing time visiting very special places. Totally recommend.
Lola was great and very personable. She took us all around the southern portion of the island and to the Volcano National Park. We had stops for food, and wineries.
Lola is a wonderful host and guide; full of fun and knowledge of Lanzarote. Very personal and full of interesting places; add beach combing for olivene, excellent tapas, two wine bars and spectacular views to the main visit areas outlined in the brochure. Plus a video of events. Warm welcomes everywhere. Very highly recommended and a great way to spend 6 hours seeing something different. The best day of a 10 day holiday.
For our small group visit to Lanzarote we booked with Lola's excursions and we weren't disappointed. Lola kindly helped us the day before in booking a taxi which was so kind. Our tour started with a 9.30am pick up and due to choppy seas we went to look at the rock pools, not able to swim in them. Lola's local history knowledge added to the tour. Lola's infectious fun personality lasted throughout the day. Because we couldn't swim in the rock pools Lola took us to El Golfo(a must if you're in Lanzarote), a truly hidden gem of a village with tiny fisherman's cottages which are available to rent and seafront restaurants. We were taken to Los Hervideros and Janubio salt flats. Then onto lunch at a traditional Tapas Bar called 'Tapas Y Uinos' founded in 1890, food delicious, everyone knows Lola🙌🥰. Then came the fascinating visits to La Geira and Stratus vineyards. Lola's local knowledge is second to none. If we're ever back in Lanzarote we will definitely book her for another Excursion and use her Airport Shuttle services. We had the best day and highly recommend Lola.
We had the most amazing day with Lola. She’s the most knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide who will go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and having a great time. Lola’s tours are a must when in Lanzarote and I can’t wait to come back for another one!!
Excellent trip with Lola very friendly and great knowledge of her beautiful island. Visited green lagoon el golfo lageria salt flats black beach the water pools and to timsnfaya to see the camels. Lola chatted all day about the island the history and traditions really passionate about the island. Wonderful guide beautiful tour
Lola brings lots of enthusiasm and experience to her work. There were just four of us which made it a more personal trip. We enjoyed exploring the natural pools (so still some of the time, but raging at other points!). We had a walk on a sparkly black beach where many of the little rocks have olivina or some other kind of gem on them. Las Salinas is a lovely spot. We enjoyed an informative wine tasting at La Geria and loved visiting a large house surrounded by enormous eucalyptus trees in Yaiza. The lunch was in a very characterful bar/restaurant.
There is no one as enthusiastic about the island as Lola! She is friendly, excited and knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to give you a wonderful experience. She was happy to work with what we found interesting and listened to what we liked and wanted from our day. She was happy to answer questions and give as much information as possible. She lives and breathes celebrating the island which you can see as she points out local changes or adapts routes to include things that have recently changed (so we got to see the Flamingos that had recently taken up residence!) She adapted the trip around a recent knee injury and was patient and helpful with the limitations that caused. Honestly, by the end of the day it felt like we had just been on a fun road trip with a good friend. It was the highlight of our holiday and I would enthusiastically recommend to everyone!
I was so great!!!!!! And the Tapas&Wine.... Just perfect. And Lola is Just so kind and also funny. We recomment a tour with Lola. Just enjoy and relax!
Great day out. Lola is exceptional She made the day do enjoyable for us and how she is so enthusiastic about her home. It was an interesting day and thank you to Lola for making it fun. Our lunch was amazing as well and it was a good length of time for the trip Not too long so ideal
Our tour guide Lola picked us up at out hotel , that day we were the only people on the tour which made it feel very personalised as Lola was able to take her time to explain the history of this beautiful island . We visited several points of historical interest including the salt mine where we were able to buy a variety of salt products, we also visited the rock pools , unfortunately I wasn't able to get to them as the walk down is very rocky and I have problems with my angles however my husband went with Lola and they took some amazing pictures, we visited the aloevera shop where we picked up a few natural products. The tapas lunch was amazing , the bar that we ate in was yet another historical building and the tapas were like nothing we had eaten , so delicious, we visited the vineyard where Lola told us how they were reformed following the volcanic eruption in 1730 , this tour was definitely the highlight of our holiday and we highly recommend this it , thank you Lola , we shall be back for the North tour very soon.
We went to the 17th floor in the Grand Hotel in Arrecife for the amazing view. We also visited The beautiful Islote de Fermina. Lola was so informative about the history of Arrecife We had a beautiful lunch and then headed to the wine region La Geria. A fantastic day spent with our new friend Lola. We laughed all day and learnt so much about Lanzarote. We highly recommend a tour with Lola, she is beautiful, genuine and funny. We made memories with Lola that will last forever. Everyone needs a day with Lola when in Lanzarote ❤️
Lola was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the area. Places seen not shown by other companies on the tour. Just a great tour guide and would highly recommend to anyone !
We had a wonderful day with Lola. From the moment we met Lola we knew we were going to have a great day. Lola was warm, fun and engaging and showed us all the beautiful spots in south Lanzarote. Thanks so much Lola for a brilliant tour!
Lola is special. She makes you fall in love with Lanzarote. Since the very instant you get picked up, the entire trip is special. She has many stories to tell. I wished we had more time to do more tours with her. I will definitely book Lola again if we return to Lanzarote.
On a girls trip, three of us in total. What an amazing time we had with Lola. So accommodating and welcome, made us feel at ease from the get go. Picked us up from our hotel and the adventure began. Amazing knowledge of the local area and offered great facts throughout the tour. Took us to lots of amazing spots, especially when we stopped in a small town for some exceptional tapas. Lola is clearly someone who loves what she does and gives everything to the tour. Highlight of our holiday and could not recommend her more to show you lots of amazing parts of the island. Feel like she managed to pack so much into our today, couldn't have asked for more. Took lots of photos of our day and sent them over after.
A few hours with Lola, seeing the island through her eyes, you’ll find yourself in love with Lanzorote, if not already! Go out of your comfort zone to find hidden wonders on the shores, you start to notice all the beauty in the landscape, learn new things, notice all the different life on the island and most off all have so much fun while Lola captures the day for you so you can play it back over and over! Best day! Thank you so much!
lola is a superlative guide who did an exceptional job showing us the island. saw the coast, 2 wineries, a nice local lunch, and Timanfaya as well. she is so charming & pleasant & obviously loves her job. we had a great time!
What a fabulous day. Lola is so friendly and knowledgeable. She has great contacts and makes sure the experience is personal. Definitely recommend a day out with her.
We had a very enjoyable introduction to Lanzarote which included a very enjoyable light lunch, a trip to a wine producer and some wonderful views of the landscape. Lola was a good driver and very informative.
Lola is an excellent guide! Very friendly and knowledgeable. It felt like spending a day with an d friend. The tour of the island was beautiful. The landscape is unique and breathtaking. I particularly enjoyed visiting different vineyards in the area. Can’t wait to go back again!
I have really thought about posting this review, as it's clear Lola is much-loved and probably a nice person, but we had a terrible experience. I'm writing this so she understands why we got angry, but also so you double-check what you're actually buying. The booking red flags should have warned me: I was contacted immediately to say it was overbooked and would I do another tour, but I wanted this specific one so we changed the date. It then took quite a bit of chasing to get the pick up time and what I needed to bring. One day before, I got a text saying the route was changing anyway as the weather made the original route 'dangerous' - why was never clear, although it has rained for 2 hours on the Saturday, the tour was on Monday which was due to be sunny). I should have just cancelled then. On the day, Lola turned up in a 'Mummy car' the sort people do school runs in, not a proper minibus or similar. There was a passenger in the front and an older lady in the middle of the back seat. When we went to sit with her, she made no attempt to move her self/things and looked horrified. I think sensing the awkwardness, Lola suggested the very back - which after scrambling over the seats (no door) & committing to the action (not easy at 55 & 60), turned out to be child-sized jump seats in the boot. Again, I should have cancelled then, but husband and I said to each other that we would sort the situation at the first stop. We drove towards Timanfaya park for about 30 minutes, husband's knees near his chest. Lola was describing things to the front passenger but we couldn't hear a thing in the boot, and there was no aircon on so we started to feel car sick. When we got to the park we queued for 20 minutes (in the car) to get a ticket - and again a red flag should have made me say something as Lola kept taking about the queue lengths and hating queueing. To our horror we then drove to the back of another line that snaked all the way up the mountain. At this point I asked how long we would be and she said 20 minutes, but then she kept saying how bad the queues 'usually' are. I heard her tell the front passenger that once in we would queue on foot (for a long time) and then get on a bus for a 40 minute tour - and that was the entire experience! By now, I was really not happy. The passenger asked about the tour timings and was told that 'with all this' we would only have time to do this one bit. So at this point I asked Lola to ring a taxi or a colleague to pick us up - she had nobody and so we insisted she turned round and dropped us at the nearest town. My husband did get angry when he told her the car wasn't suitable and she said that he had chosen to sit in the boot seats (thus implying it was our own fault) and so we refused to continue. 2 hours after we got in, we got out of the car and took a £25 taxi back to the hotel. I know you can't control queues, but the way Lola kept talking about them told me that she knew it was going to be horrendous but chose that option anyway. That's what made us mad the most. We felt duped, the car was unsuitable, the 'tour' was a mess from start to finish and - to no great surprise - the refund we were promised still hasn't happened. So, better luck to you, if you choose to go ahead.
What a fabulous time we had, felt like I had met my friend after years and she was showing us all her favourite places to be. What a beautiful place Lanzarote is, get out the usual holiday bubble and meet and see the authentic Canary Islands. Tapas was amazing !!! Lola is a great guide, enthusiastic about making sure you have a great experience to take home with you. It was a pleasure for us to be in her company and we were and are humbled by the strength of character and the hard work of the people who make Lanzarote so wonderful. You won’t be disappointed, but you will want more .thanks Lola, we loved it 😀
Lola is such a star& could not have done any more. She thinks about everything. If you want real Lanzarote go with Lola to see coastal pools protected from the crashing waves, Lanzarote’s innovative wine industry with tasting. Try local tapas like you have never tasted, see how sea salt is harvested and much more. Thank you Lola - we cannot recommend enough!
Fantastic. Our guide was wonderful. Lots of information and interesting facts. She was kind and patient with us. Saw some beautiful parts of the island that we would not have seen if it wasn't for the trip. Had a good swim in the pools. Loved the wine tasting and the lunch. Would definitely do again. Thank you 😊
Paramount to the quality is to be on a small group with a knowledgeable guide She takes you to places to enjoy Lanzarote and she is irresistible at sharing the beauty of her island. Delicious authentic canarian tapas for lunch. She took lots of pics and videos for us. I recommend this human experience
Greetings from the USA! I want to write an absolutely glowing review for the wonderful Ms. Lola and her tour. We purchased the “South Route Natural pools, Las Salinas and La Geria” tour for the four of us. Our kids are 13 and 19. It’s also worth noting that I am nursing a foot injury and needed some accommodations. She meets us at the resort with a warm greeting. We approach her vehicle: a trusty van which comfortably sat our group. The tour ended up being private as we had 4 of us. We headed off to our first stop: the natural pools. I couldn’t make the hike all the way down because of my foot but relaxed at the halfway point. She took my family the rest of the way and captured many memories for me as the family photographer. Next stop was Las Salinas. We stopped to capture a few pics of the salt “mines?” and then headed to the beautiful black beach. We stopped in a town (Yaiza) for a nice Canarian tapas lunch. She ordered for us and did not disappoint! Lastly, we headed to La Geria for a bodega (winery). We are not wine drinkers but found the area beautiful and the bodega fascinating. We headed back to the resort and said hey, why not, let’s book another day with her for tomorrow, our last day on Lanzarote. Why did we rebook? She is a true professional. She speaks excellent English which helped us as we speak little Spanish. She is very familiar with the entire island. It was not just a tour. It was an experience. I cannot stress that enough. There are plenty of big bus tours you can take…or you can have Lola as your guide for an intimate excursion on Lanzarote.
What a fabulous, personalized tour Lola gave us of the southside of Lanzarote. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable of the area, answering all of our questions, she was so personable and courteous. She was very amenable to any requests we had for the 5 hour tour. We learned so much about her beautiful island. We really lucked out finding her in the last minute. I would highly recommend Lola's Excursions for your stay in Lanzarote!
Lola was a great guide whose love for the island is obvious. She took us to great places and gave interesting and detailed explanations. I highly recommend her tour! Don’t miss out!
Fun times! The weather closed down the pools, but our tour guide, Lola, took us to a spectacular beach spot (Puerto de Carmen) with a pretty restaurant to enjoy sweeping ocean views and cocktails. We also toured Puerto Calero to visit the harbor and open market for shopping. My favorite was the authentic Canarian lunch at Bar Stop Yaiza (established 1890 for authentic tapas and house wine), and La Geria (pronounced La heria) to visit two beautiful wineries. So much fun and laughter with Lola! She customized our day perfectly. We highly recommend this tour.
I decided to go on a tour for my birthday and Lola made the half day tour such a wonderful experience. She was a wealth of information and funny anecdotes about the island and her life in Lanzarote. Lola also made sure the delicious Canarian brunch we had was suitable for my dietary requirements which I really appreciated. I ended the tour having learned not just about the island but feeling as though I'd made a great friend. If you're a solo traveller like me, Lola took so many photos along the trip which was so helpful (no selfie stick needed). I'm looking forward to visiting again to do more tours with Lola and would highly recommend the service others!
It was a sisters' trip. We really enjoyed the scenery, the food and the experiences.

Excellent experience, with Lola, very knowledgeable of the island and very loving of her land. It is a private tour, maximum 8 people, which also allows to meet other travelers from other countries. We strolled through amazing places we couldn't have gone without a guide. Lola is passionate and funny, very good driver. We promised to come back and we'll probably go on other excursions with her. Highly recommended!!
We did this tour and also the northern tour at Lola. There were only two of us on both tours. Also on this tour we were able to learn new things about the island. Lola is there with a lot of commitment and warmth and always looking to create a beautiful experience. The places visited were mostly away from the large crowds. Especially the natural pools are very worth seeing! The photos will give us the experience and accompany us for a long time to come:) Also this tour we can highly recommend!
