Itinerary
Sioux City Park emulates a western city with its typical buildings, peoples and routine, offering tons of fun for its visitors. This city was built back in 1972 as a set for western movies. We are sure you have seen some of the buildings before. This city is not a museum, everything is real and fully functional like for example the sheriff’s or the saloon. Visit the saloon and try some of the drinks they have for you. Moreover there are spectacular shows: bank robbery, firefights between the bandits and the sheriff. There is also a zoo with cachena cows, Jersey giant chickens, emus, suricata and for those of you, reptile-fans: dwarf crocodiles.

Amazing hidden gem! I heard about the park off YouTube MrTravelOn it looked interesting and something my kids could see as educational and fun. The tickets were really quite cheap and easily accessible on your phone. The sun was blazing, staff in fancy dress greeted us and were so playful with the kids. The live performances were fantastic but had to sit 2 out as my son dislikes loud noises, so we sat in the saloon with a drink. The saloon staff made our visit, they were chasing my boy round keeping him entertained while the show was on, I cant praise them enough. We got to bottle feed baby pigs, goats and lambs such an experience!! Food and drinks were very reasonably priced and the pizza was delicious 😋
The free shuttle bus from Puerto Rico was very handy, though it gets extremely hot and stuffy with no air con for the 60+ minute journey. The shows were good and the animals were great — really enjoyed them. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat there. The gift shop was lovely and sold food for just €1 to feed the goats — such a nice touch — but there was no hand sanitizer available afterwards to clean your hands, which was disappointing. What really ruined the day was the return bus timing. The last show started at 14:45, so we made our way to the entrance for 15:30 — only to be told the bus had already left at 15:15. Absolutely disgusting we hadn’t even been told by the free shuttle bus driver that it leaves before the end of the shows. So you pay €24.50 entry and you’re forced to choose: either miss the end of the show to catch the bus, or pay €45 for a taxi back to Puerto Rico, or walk 20–30 minutes to the main road to the public transport bus. This is completely unacceptable — especially when you have mobility issues and an 80-year-old mother-in-law with limited mobility too. There was also no consideration in the bar area — nowhere to sit, and nobody would move along on the benches to make space. The animals and shows are wonderful — it could be brilliant — but the bus times must match when the last show finishes, and basic seating/hygiene needs sorting. We won’t be returning
What a fantastic day! We got there at 10am, and had a little wander around looking at the animals. The sun was blazing and it really felt like we were in the wild west!! It was nice and relaxed not too many people there. Food and drinks in the saloon were fantastic and not over priced and the bar staff were so friendly running around with my little boy pretending to shoot him 🤣 . The kids got to bottle feed baby pigs!! The shows were very entertaining and all the actors and staff were so friendly. Would 100% recommend 👌
Myself and my partner visited for the day and really enjoyed it, great for kids and the animals are all rescues which is a nice touch also BBQ is excellent value for money and was really nice all in all fab day woukd recommend.
Good experience to see , the staff was very professional and funny. Food was good, but a little expensive for the coke soft drink.
An amazing day out for all the family, gets very chaotic at lunchtime as not enough staff to deal with the quantity of visitors!
Amazing day out! Real building and great actors/ shows you must go and see this. The site is massive for what it offers. Lots of little details in making you feel your in the Wild West.
Fantastic day, BUT I have mobility aid and found it difficult to use on the sand covered streets,WE decided to leave it parked up and managed to walk around the area, with a little help from my husband. We also noticed people struggling with buggies.
What a fabulous place. So much to see. Full of excitement for the children. Very interesting place. Kids loved it all including the horse riding. Gift shop great. We had the best day there. The performances were educational. Fun and exciting. Definitely not one trip to be missed
Really enjoyed it but the short ones amongst us struggled to see above everyone. There could be an outer balcony on the buildings. The servers in the saloon could have been in costume too instead of staff uniform. The shows were better if you were Spanish because of translation. But overall I would recommend it for value for money and the barbecue was worth it at 15 euros because you could go back for more.
Had the best time today. Lots to do and lots of entertainment. The actors and people who work there were amazing. Very friendly and done an amazing job keeping everyone laughing.
Great day for All Ages. The shows are great, funny & entertaining. BbQ was good value and just a great day out
Professional actors and you feel like in wild wild west
There is a bus that takes you straight to the experience from your nearest bus station. But we got a taxi as it was only 9 minute drive from our hotel (€6) We arrived before it opened so there was no queues. From start to finish all characters we brilliant, you have chance to walk around the village and have photo opportunities. The village is well set out with every building imaginable, they offer horse rides and you get to see the animals at your own pace. You get given a timetable for each show, we loved the fact that you never miss a show because everything is set times and never overlap. Great audience participation and the staff are fabulous in their rolls. Lots of humour and detailed narrative. Food is lovely and they have gift shop. They children get to fed the baby animals in the Main Street. Just a fun day out away from the pool. There is a free bus that picks everyone up at the end of the day but again we chose a taxi.
I visited Sioux City Park with my partner for my birthday on Saturday, and it turned out to be a brilliant day out. We arrived just after 10am which, in hindsight, was a little early since the first show doesn’t start until 11:15am. That said, the extra time gave us a chance to wander around, take photos, and soak in the Wild West atmosphere. One of the highlights was the horse riding, which was only €10 and absolutely worth it. The second show of the day was spectacular, energetic, funny, and surprisingly immersive. Food wise, they offer a BBQ buffet for €15, which is great value, and drinks in the saloon are priced at €3.50 for a can of pop. It’s also reassuring to know that the animals in the park are rescues, which made the experience feel even more positive. Overall, Sioux City Park is well worth a visit, fun shows, friendly staff, great photo spots, and a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else on the island.
It was a great experience form start to finish the shows they put on were really good well.done to the staff at this place, but if you have small children be aware that a gun sounds that can be very loud and upsetting for children.
A really brilliant day out.Arrived at 10.30 left at 3.30,the shows are fantastic. Everything about the day is amazing,so professional actors. The horses are lovely. Good food in the saloon, reasonable prices.Second time visiting this show and will go again when visiting Gran Canaria.
Really good fun trip. Thoroughly recommend it! All the horses there are rescues, which makes it even more appealing.
Fantastic day out, worth every penny. Shows were great and well done. we took a taxi but there is a free bus when you book online.
Good trainers sunglasses & your wallet great entertainment and food it is a full experience of ranch life animals are lovely and the cast of the shows are great
We had the best day here! They catered for everyone all ages. The shows were great and the atmosphere was incredible. The whole set was amazing and we had the best time as a group of 4 friends. I will definitely return with my family. Thank you for the best time x
Amazing Wild West Town with interactive ishows ncluding bank robbery, gun fights cattle drive. Actors as cowboys, mexicans & red indians. Great for all the family.
Really fun trip out. I got to ride a horse which was great! This does cost an extra 10 euros. The Saloon bar atmosphere was electric. Defo recommend. It's probably not a full day out & can be very hot.
What an absolute pleasure !! From start to finish !! Free bus pick up in taurito , walked in through ticket office and collected ticket(we booked online which i would advise) easy as pie !! From the moment you enter its unbelievable!! You get greeted with a photo shoot dress up included ! Cost 10 euros to buy after fantastic ! Staff then greet us in character and remained in character all day ! Food was lovely good price too drinks were cheap . Great shows and animals well looked after !! Overall fantastic day out for all ! .
We read the reviews before we went and were impressed by them however when we arrived we became slightly skeptical …. As we drove up the car park looked abandoned but we spotted a man on a horse (which we initially thought was a statue) waving us into the car parking space and the laughter began! The park was wonderful with lots of places to wander in and out of … then the entertainment began and the performers and animals were pretty brilliant. We were amazed to learn that the horses were all rescue animals & looked really healthy and happy. We laughed so hard for most of the day and kept saying to each other “all of this for 20E” !! Food and drink was reasonably priced and of good quality. And the staff worked very hard indeed to make sure everyone had a good day. Amazing and totally mad day …. Really recommended.
We weren't sure what to expect but this was brilliant! Shows throughout the day and a bbq not to be missed...15 euros buys you a decent plate of food and a drink. The staff really care and we found it to be great fun, reasonably priced all round (2 bottles of cider 7e) and we loved it!
Get to the shows early to have the best viewing experience. Be prepared to interact with the performers
Genuinely the best experience! I am a huge fan of Red Redemption 2 and it genuinely felt like we were walking into Valentine. There was a perfect mix of Spanish and English so we could understand everything going on but even when they only spoke Spanish we found it enjoyable The food was amazing and the price was even better & the portion sizes were big! The serve was really sweet & funny! All the staff made us feel welcome and seen! They close at 3pm/4pm to keep the animals out of the extreme heat and you can tell they are all very well looked after! The people genuinely care for the welfare of these animals This was our last full day in Gran Canaria and it was a day well spent!
DO NOT GO!!!!!!!! I have worked in the horse racing industry for years so I know my stuff, the horses are treated so so badly. One mare had very bad sweet itch and an open wound on her chin that was not looked after. I couldn’t bring myself to take a photo. The donkey in the show was lame and had boots on that were too big, after looking at some reviews I saw a photo the reason why the donkey is lame ! Another horse was in a lunge ring on its own with no water and none of the horses had shelter from the blistering heat. Some of the cattle’s feet were also very bad and in need of trimming. Please don’t give these people your money, as it is clearly not invested on the animals!!
Fantastic day. The whole place oozed reality and precision of what the wild west would be. The shows were awesome. The staff were excellent. Well definitely come again.
AMAZING from the staff to the brilliant animals ! The animals were rescued and seemed happy which is amazing. Really great day out and I’m so glad we did it !
Realistic cowboy setting . What we saw was good but seems to of had better times . Also most of the shows are spoken in Spanish without any translation. Would I visit again. No.
Really enjoyed it. A good day out. Felt bad about leaving early but it was too hot. First show is at 11.am. Last show at around 3pm. Little breaks in between. So a lot of time standing in the July sun!!! Love how the animals used are all rescues ❤️
We were welcomed and given clear guidance in English to all our queries. Staff were friendly, charming and helpful. Excellent food in the Saloon Bar - good service. Fun day out and beautiful surroundings to set up a great authentic Western experience.
Great immersive family fun. We were a family of 9 and we had so much fun here. Even our under 8's enjoyed the experience. Would definitely recommend a visit
Great family day out, the staff are friendly and interacted well with everyone, the mainstreet shows are very good, the town has a real western feel to it, the food tastes great, there is a well stocked bar. You can feed the goats, pet the cattle and horses.
Good for all ages outdid all expectations my 6 year old granddaughter has not stopped talking about it loved bottle feeding young Goats & riding horses amazing set & well Acted out scenes ,just go!
In general we enjoyed the day at sioux city and found all of the staff to be friendly and helpful. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was the poor quality of the BBQ food. My daughter's chicken nuggets were inedible and the ketchup was horrible. For the adult meal the plastic wrapped bread rolls were definitely stale and broke into hundreds of pieces when I took it out of the packet. I went back and got 2 more an they were the same. If the food was improved it would be a must do!
We had a great day. The team are so friendly and chatty and clearly work hard to make sure the visitors had a good time. The cowboys and cowgirl were fab at the shows, and always around to chat to and ask questions. I had my teenage daughters with me who also had great fun. We didn’t stay until closing at 3pm but watched 3 shows (which were so funny and got the audience involved). It was a bit far out for us to get to but very glad we went.
Great for Spanish-speaking visitors but not that great for English people who don't know the language. As being English speaking and not knowing much of the Spanish language we couldn't understand what was being said in any of the shows as it was all in Spanish, if they had an interpreter or even spoke the English language as well as their native language it would have been better. The Wild West sites were good just a pity we couldn't go into more of the buildings for a look around as well.
We visited here end of May 2025. We didn’t know what to expect as booked on a whim, paid around £80 for family of 4 including transport. Weather was insanely hot and the place is in the middle of a canyon so take hats, suitable footwear as it’s very sandy. We loved the shows and immersiveness of the park. Between shows you can wonder around the park and into nearly all the sets. Staff were really lovely and accommodating, shows are silly, funny and cheesy. Think bank robbers, Wild West, shootouts, cows, horse etc. Our fav part was when the baby goats ran up to be fed, it was so brill!! Food was good and reasonably priced. Real saloon where you can get real drinks. Adequate toilets. Staff state animals are rescues that now live at the park, a previous review stated the park is accredited welfare standards however I didn’t see this particular info this myself. Animals appeared well cared for. Overall would definitely recommend if you want a different day out.
We had an amazing day. The shows were great fun and entertaining. We had a lovely meal in the saloon and it thankfully catered for vegetarians. Every member of staff were friendly and helpful we couldn't have asked for more. They were brilliant with children and made their day so special and I couldn't recommend it more.
Although the Kids enjoyed themselves. What let it down for me was the BBQ. I was talked into it by the man with the beard and bald head. One of the actors. I was assured as a none meat eater if I paid and went to see him he would sort me out with something from the Kitchen separately. I was offered a can of Pepsi max. 3 potatoes and salad for 15 euro. The offer to sort me out never appeared. Although I went and asked. So I feel let down and ripped off.
I would recommend this mainly for family’s For adults it’s not as interesting beautiful horses and animals
Absolute brilliant day out!! We went with a family of seven. Both the adults, and the kids in the group had a fantastic day. Lots to see and do. The shows were brilliant. Staff were so helpful and the food was lovely. Highly recommended
Iif you go on the number 30 bus it is a little walk to Sioux City. Found out after there is a free bus which we came back on A good day out the shows were good and continuous for most of the day. Staff work hard to make it a fun day for everyone
Authentic representation of the wild West. Great actors, friendly, keen to engage audience, an immersive experience.
We enjoyed the day and felt it good value for money. The animals were great and appeared to be well looked after. I was a bit apprehensive of being picked on by the performers but, thankfully was nor. Overall an enjoyable experience
It’s was amazing , I can’t recommend enough, was fun , exiting, never with entertainment, would go over and over again loved it
