Secret Volcano Tuk Tuk Tour: Tenerife & Adeje

Not really worth the money. An hour in a Tuktuk driving around the streets of Las Americas and Adeje with a trip above the banana plantation. Guide was good but I guess you can’t polish a turd

Informative and fun hour with Marcos today. Saw the island from a different viewpoint- would recommend!

Tuk tuk was comfortable and we got to see the tourist district from a unique vantage point The best part was the view from the top of the dormant volcano. Would have given a higher rating but our guide was too focused on political commentary and made a lot of assumptions based on the fact we are American. Wanted to understand Tenerife history and culture.

Great trip out with our driver Emiliano. Collected from the meeting point on time.He was so knowledgable about the area and we learnt a lot of things about Costa Adeje. Great way to spend an hour out and about.

It was a lovely experience as I have knee osteoritis and it was easier for us to see the town as all other trips were mobility aware guide was really nice and friendly and it was only a hour long so didnt miss much swimming time at pool.either would definitely recommend and price was reasonable too

Called the company on the morning, the person who answered was professional and very organised. Managed to tell us there was one slot available in the afternoon that day sent us a link to make a payment and the address for meeting pick up nice and easy. We took a taxi to the meeting point and the tuk tuk and driver was waiting there. The price I would say for a family of 5 was really reasonable compared to many other tours in the area and so worth it if you are new to the island and not looking to pay crazy amount and just want a general tour with kids. The tour wasn't too long and so short and sweet especially with kids who are just desperate for swimming lol and the driver was very friendly and humorous but also really informative. Learnt a lot about the island and saw bits we wouldn't have known about was interesting and lovely. Just perfect for a family with kids as its not too long but also gives a general understanding of the island and information for kids its also fun on the tuk tuk with a lovely breeze in the heat and comfortable. At the same time the tour driver takes his time doesn't rush for pics etc and due to him we went back to the beach he showed us as was perfect for kids. Highly recommend this tour company.

Highly recommend you book this trip, good value for money. Tour takes 1 hour. We did the Costa Adeje tour 2 years ago with same company and was absolutely fantastic the guide was brilliant so we decided to book again this time and do the other route the secret volcano tour and again it was just brilliant, Joy was so helpful and friendly when booking and gave us all the information we needed and our guide Ricky was so knowledable and friendly. Thanks so much guys for yet another great tour and for the memories.

Our guide was lovely and made our trip special. Took photos of us and gave my son a banana! Great little sightseeing trip.

I had previously booked a tour and had an excellent experience so booked again this year on Christmas Day. We had a great tour with four other lovely people who we met from USA and Southern Ireland. We had a great experience: great company and the driver provided lots of information and made our trip fun. Book it!

Very good nice scenic route round Adeje and las Americas and puerto colon great spot for taking pictures near crater. Only downside was wish we could stop in and have a look inside banana plantation but really good overall

An excellent way to see parts of Costa Adeje and the surrounding area in more detail. Marcos our driver was good fun and had loads of knowledge to share during the trip. The views from the volcanic area he took us to see were fantastic. The banana plantation up there is huge. It's a fun way to spend an hour and we really enjoyed it. Everyone at the office from booking to arranging our trip was helpful and friendly.

Tour guide was Adam a very affable guy and knowledgeable Took us on the 1 hour secret volcano tour and pointed out the most interesting areas Wouldn't hesitate in using them again in the future if we were back in Tenerife

Brilliant tour! A must do! This is the second tuk tuk tour we have done with this company, the first was so good we booked the second for the next day. The guide was brilliant very friendly and informative, answered all our questions and knew lots about the area. We really enjoyed the banana plantation and would definitely do anymore they had to offer! It’s a must do!

We went last year with myself my wife and daughter with Costa Adeje tuktuk and enjoyed experience and thought we would try secret Vulcano and it was a nice hour out but no different from Adeje tour last year. Last year we stopped at the banana plantation as part of the tour and this secret Vulcano was exactly the same no difference. My wife kept saying to me we did this last year and that was €86. Lastly the tour guide was lovely but was trying to tell us history along the same way but she was talking looking straight forward into windscreen and we couldn’t here absolutely nothing but we just kept replying g as if we could here her. They really need a microphone and speaker and the passengers can hear what they are saying. They also need to scrap the secret Vulcano as it is miss selling the same excursion and the main one. Sorry for the review but for the money we were left disappointed.

Great guide providing lots of information and a great way to familiarise yourself with the locality. Highway recommend this.

My Mum and I found this trip informative and fun. In a short space of time, we learnt some interesting facts about the history or the island and its agriculture and economy. This would be a good trip to take at the start of your holiday, as you get to see some of the local areas, and get a feel for where things are. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun.

We planned this on our last day of our trip as we had plenty of time before our flight. But I recommend it to be on early start of the trip. We had a lovely guide who provided a decent insight on the History, Volcano mountain, Banana plantantions and Interesting things to do at Fanabe. There were initial hiccups with the vehicle in the start of the journey but glad that we managed to complete the entire trip. Plantation farm is miles away from your view and not that how I pictured to see,. The only thing I fet as a feedback is that I would recommend having a blue tooth speaker or internal speaker as we miss most of the verbal talk through due to traffic

My son loved it, great for kids. Amazing very friendly driver. Good way to look around the city if you don’t have much time. Previous older reviews were mentioned they went into banana plantation, unfortunately now only you can see them from far, but still interesting and the guy said interesting facts about it. Recommended, especially if you are with kids.

Our tuk tuk experience was amazing and well worth booking if your in Tenerife. Wish we had booked the double tour however will certainly be booking back up when we return to Tenerife at Christmas. Our driver Nando was fantastic, very knowledgeable and shared some interesting information about Tenerife. We were able to get some fantastic views and take pictures of the experience. Nando made our experience so enjoyable for everyone. My son was delighted with the tour and loved Nando's sense of humour.

Benjamin was an excellent host right from the minute we arrived. He was informative, attentive and helpful. Great snippets of information that you won’t find in a guide book. The route is comprehensive and you get a real feel for the area with great views. Thank you.

Guide was Elia. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We went to places we’d not been and learned more about Adeje. All was fine. Good value for money.

Lovely afternoon, we chose the 2 hour tour & had an English speaking driver (Mar - who was lovely) she gave us various info as we were driving around, it really was a fun relaxing time!

We wanted something to do outside our hotel one day but hadn’t pre booked anything and this came up as an option. It sounded inexpensive and fun. The most difficult thing was finding parking for our hire car near the collection point, but the trip itself was great. The driver was from Belgium I think, and really interesting to talk to, telling us about the areas we were driving through. We had a drink at a bar and the kids bought a couple of souvenirs from the adjoining shop, then it was onwards and up a hill over the town for some great views of the area. We had an interesting and informative talk about the nearby banana plantation, took some photos then went back down to our collection point. The tour doesn’t take long but we all thoroughly enjoyed it as something different to do and would recommend to others.

Good experience sightseeing and Interesting facts about the island, but it wasn't worth the money. Over priced for what you got. The driver was lovely and couldn't be more helpful.

Unique tour of the views in the hills. The hour tour was brilliant. Guide informative and friendly. Paid for private tour which was spot on.

Learning about banana plants and their life cycle, also the banana smoothie that we were given. Our driver, Julia, I think, was a good guide but sometimes it was difficult to hear what she was saying. A microphone would have made it a better experience.

A great tour. Ilias was a knowledgeable guide and encouraged the kids to have fun. Fab smoothie and interesting information on the banana plantation itself. Feeding the horses was a highlight for the kids!

Our family of 4 took the banana plantation and farm tour by Tuk Tuk. It was a great experience and our driver was great. I think this tour is more interesting than the other and it gets you away from the touristy area and up a little in to the countryside. A very interesting location to visit and some great scenery and views. Be aware that the pickup is not exactly at the entrance to the quoted hotel but across the road.

The guide was fantastic! We enjoyed his explanations and my children also liked him a lot! The experience of viewing the beautiful scenery on the tuk tuk was fabulous!

The name is deceiving. Though I enjoyed the views up to the farm, and bought a few veggies from the "sales" part of the tour, I wouldn't call shopping at the open air a "farm" tour. As for the banana plantation, I think we spent maybe 5 minutes inside the door of the plot and stood in one spot. Our guide was sweet and she did let me peek a little further to find a banana flower. She said a few things about them. Again, I was happy to see what they look like, but that's because I made an extra effort to look. That is not what I consider a " Banana plantation" tour. I think you need to rename your tour.
