Scuba Diving In Lanzarote (For Certified Divers Only)

I had a fantastic experince. They were super communicative, professional, and safety-focused...but also fun. Highly recommend. I wish I could do more dives with them.

The experience was absolutely perfect, the explanations were clear, it's an excellent dive shop, and the instructors were very friendly.

As I went for a double dive with my grandson who just became a PADI diver last autumn, we were accompanied by Chantal for a special dive experience. Our first in the Atlantic! She was ready for us with perfect equipment, having us go a bit before the crowd (other diving companies) arrived. She guided us very friendly and highly professional. It was very enjoyable and I felt in good hands the whole time. Thanks again Chantal!

I had a great time diving with Igor and Chantal in Lanzarote. I spent 5 days diving in different dive spots, either from shore or from the boat. I'm an advanced diver and I could see : the underwater museum, different wrecks, some octopus, stingrays, seahorses, angelote sharks, groupers, nudibranches, and other types of fish :). We were always diving in very small groups so either just me and the dive instructor or else just with another diver more so it felt very private. Thank you guys :) I had a good time discovering Lanzarote underwater.

We had an incredible experience with Scuba Legends. Booking was a breeze; we were able to coordinate directly with the manager via WhatsApp to arrange a 4-day, 8-dive package. This included the stunning underwater museum in Playa Blanca, as well as several boat and shore dives around Playa Chica. ​The owner, Chantel, was brilliant and highly responsive. Our dive guides were equally fantastic—patient, helpful, and focused on our comfort throughout every dive, and keeping the groups small and personal. They had a real knack for spotting marine life, including Angel sharks, octopuses, eels, pipefish, and even a pregnant seahorse. Most importantly, they practiced respectful diving, ensuring we never disturbed or crowded the animals. ​Since we brought our own gear, the team went above and beyond by offering to wash and store it at the shop each night. Having it delivered back dry the next day was a huge help, especially since we had limited space on our hotel balcony. I can’t recommend Scuba Legends enough and will definitely be back! FYI water temperature is around 18°C most of the year so if bringing own kit I would recommend a 7mm full wetsuit or even a drysuit if you feel the cold and are going beyond 20m.

Fantastic people, they can't do enough for you, wouldn't even let me carry my own gear. Very helpful and patient, all in all a great dive centre to dive with. Thanks guys, see you in December.

An amazing scuba diving experience! Very professional personnel! Also the shores where we were diving was quite interesting to me: we saw lots of different species, in addition small flounders (I'm not sure exactly what they are called). We had two dives in about 10 to 20 meters. I can warmly recommend!

We researched, and contacted, multiple dive companies in Lanzarote before choosing Scuba Legends. We chose them because of the good reviews, they had availability on the day we wanted to dive, and they offered the dive locations we were interested in. Their communication was good from the time I first contacted them. They provided all of the information we needed, including equipment, times and meeting location. On the day of the dive, they were easy to find and the staff was well prepared. Our guide, Igor, was friendly and went over everything we needed to know for the day. We did two dives, both were a short boat ride from the marina. I would recommend Scuba Legends to anyone looking to dive in Lanzarote.

I completed my AOWD course with Scuba Legends in Lanzarote, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. My instructor Igor was absolutely outstanding: extremely knowledgeable, patient, attentive, and genuinely friendly. He explained everything clearly and made me feel safe and confident throughout all the exercises. The course was very well structured, hands-on, and truly helped me improve my diving skills. I especially appreciated how individually Igor worked with me and how much importance he placed on safety and thorough briefings. After the course, I did two additional fun dives, and both were fantastic. Great organization, beautiful dive sites, and a relaxed yet highly professional atmosphere. You can feel the team’s true passion for diving in every moment. Bottom line: Highly recommended! I will definitely come back and am already looking forward to my next dives with this amazing team.

I had a 3 day scuba adventure on lanzarote, and had a great time, Igor guided the group and made sure we had everything we need. When I go back to Lanzarote, Scuba Legends is my place to go to for the underwateradventures . Good communicaton .. and while I only left bubbles, i've recieved some pictures for the memory .

I highly recommend Scuba Legends for your diving activities in Lanzarote. After my previous experience with them in 2022 I had no doubt in booking my dives again with Scuba Legends. They work with small groups and ensure everyone enjoys the dives. I have had the pleasure of diving with Raul and Igor. First day shore diving was with Raul and were truly enjoyable dives. Lots of sea life and very relaxing dives. The snorkelling tour with my wife afterwards was also a very fun activity. Next day boat dives with Igor were also very enjoyable and a good experience. I highly appreciated the flexibility to adjust the dives slightly to meet my preferences. Many thanks again for the good experiences and hopefully see you soon again.

Raul is an expert octopus spotter! I had mentioned I have never seen an octopus in the wild before and he made a special effort to point them out to me. We saw 5 octopi today!! One of them was crawling along rocks while another nearby made an ink squirt! We also saw 5 seahorses! This man’s ability to notice animals is incredible. Thank you Raul, I had a blast!

We had the pleasure of diving with Chantal, and I can only say: absolutely recommendable! Not only was she extremely competent, but she was also incredibly patient and empathetic. From the very beginning, I felt safe and in good hands. The equipment was well maintained and ready for use at any time. This was my first experience of diving in Lanzarote and I definitely would love to return. Communication when booking was excellent and informative. What a great week we had with Scuba Legends in Lanzarote. Great service from the start, clear and friendly communication and uncomplicated organization. When we arrived in Puerto del Carmen, we met Raul, an extremely friendly, humorous and patient instructor, with whom we were able to do our 10 dives. We particularly appreciated the small diving groups, especially for us as beginners, which allowed us to slowly develop our diving skills without any pressure. Each of our dives was a unique experience, from angel sharks to stingrays, everything was shown to us by Raul. We are already looking forward to our next experience with Scuba Legends!

I had such an amazing time scuba diving on this trip. I’m still quite new to my certification and so got a little nervous before hand but was very quickly put at ease. Raul was a brilliant instructor, clearly and patiently explained everything we’d be doing, made sure we were all super happy before starting and then went on to lead a super chilled, exciting dive. I think we saw 5 octopuses as well as so much more. Everything was really well organised, clear instructions, early dive (it was a lot quieter), well maintained equipment and just really lovely people. Highly recommend

I had the pleasure to dive with Elva one on one from scuba legends, we had the privilege to dive a early bird and Elva was fantastic and as much excited if not more then me, 3 dives that day and Elva had more then enough energy and enthusiasm for the both of us. so professional and knowledgeable, My last day we headed to the underwater museum with Raul and again such a great guild, he too impressed me with his knowledge and dedication to give me the best possible experience, all in all a fantastic experience and company, thank you !!!

The weather was shocking the week we went, but Elda said Friday might be ok. So we booked and Friday was good. We wanted to see the underwater statues. They seemed professional and everything was done efficiently. The second dive was great as we saw loads of fish

Dived with Raul both days and had two amazing boat dives in Playa Blanca, then the following day, some shore dives to Blue Hole and La Cathedral. The first time I've seen Barracuda in Lanzarote! All dives are buddy pairs in a small group of three or four usually, and there are so many Octopus and other species that you wouldn't expect in somewhere so accessible from the UK! :) I've dived with Chantal previously, and had a few days of holiday to use before Christmas so asked what I could do with the time I had in Lanzarote with some suggestions of where I would like to dive. Chantal organised everything perfectly with transport from the dive shop and provided all the kit I couldn't bring with me. The quality of kit for hire is really good, and perfectly maintained. It's the same as I would have brought with me if I had more baggage allowance! Overall, I couldn't recommend more. These are people that are passionate about diving and can't wait to come back again!! :)

My wife and I, both PADI Advanced Open Water certified, chose Lanzarote for our PADI Deep Water certification, drawn to its beautiful diving spots and convenient deep-water access. We contacted Scuba Legends, recommended by others, and appreciated Chantal's efforts in accommodating our specific needs. Our instructor, Raúl, was excellent. Through four dives, he provided valuable insights and helped us develop our skills. We were fortunate to encounter various marine life, including barracudas and many schools of fishes.

I had great experience with Scuba Legends. I was 10 days in Lanzarote and booked 5 days diving with Scuba Legends 2 days AOWC and 3 days fun dives, 11 dives in total. Every dive with the dive instructor Adrian was a great new comfortable and pleasant experience and there is a lot of life and beautiful underwater scenery to see in the waters around Lanzarote. When I return to Lanzarote I will definitely dive with Scuba Legends again!

I completed my PADI Deep Diver course during my time in Lanzarote at Playa Chica. Chantal is an amazing instructor with so much knowledge and passion for diving, and is not afraid to give constructive criticism where due so you know what areas you need to improve in. I was buddied up with Grace, who was also doing her Deep Diver course as part of her PADI Divemaster certification, and is also a very competent and passionate diver. After completing the course, Grace led a couple of recreational dives at El Muellito, and The Blue Hole while I buddied up with Alicia and saw some amazing things with the great visibility that you have in Lanzarote. Such a great and fun bunch to dive with, can't recommend enough :) Will definitely be back again next time I can get some holiday!

I cannot recommend Scuba Legends highly enough. The team is awesome, both in person and online. They are very communicative via email, and when our second dive got cancelled due to weather, Chantal was very quick to respond on WhatsApp. When our boat dive was canceled, they were able to take us to another part of the island for another fantastic diving experience. Adrián was our lead instructor alongside Grace, and they were both wonderful. So kind, so attentive, and so joyful. My partner and I really valued the small group experience (4 people, 2 guides). This was my first dive after getting certified last summer, so I was a bit nervous--but Adrián and Grace made me feel very safe. When I had some issues underwater with my mask, Adrián was quick to recognize the situation and helped me regain control. He was a very attentive guide underwater and I really appreciated him consistently checking up on me. The dives themselves were SO beautiful. We went to Playa Chica and a spot on the east side. I would definitely dive again in Lanzarote!

After some internet search, I decided to book 10 dives with Scuba Legend Dive Centre. The communication was excellent, detailed iteniery about dive sites and timings were punctual. On day one the dive guide Adri introduced himself and the other memebrs of the dive team, Sami and Maria, we completed the pre dive paperwork etc. I had a combination of shore and boat dives. Shore dives were from Playa Chica with amazing and diverse marine life. A lot to see and ample time to do photographic documentation. The boat dives from Playa Blanca to the Mueso Atlantico ( a must see dive destination) and Puerto de Calero. Adri, dive intstructor and guide and Sam, divemaster were amazing professional, friendly and proactive ensuring all divers are happy and satisfied with the dive. Divers to guide ratio was perfect 3:1

Dived with my son with Scuba Legends on my holiday last week. I had two fantastic dives in Playa Chica. Maria, our instructor was brilliant and very knowledgeable about the dive sites and looked after us very well. She has a brilliant sense of humour also which made the whole experience fantastic. The diving was wonderful - crystal waters, and so many fish. There are lots of dive centres to choose from in Lanzarote but we were really happy with our choice : Maria, our instructor, spoke both Spanish and English, and she was professional and lots of fun at the same time. Safety was always paramount, and she was quick to assess our level and our interests. We saw so many fish, and a highlight was going down into a giant cave called the Cathedral. October 2022 i wrote a review stating i would be back Well, i was back and already looking forward for September or October 2024 It felt a little like coming home, being part of a family Chantal organizes everything so well, the gear is top quality and the staff is highly skilled. I had a really enjoyable two dives on Thursday. The location was amazing. Also the staff are so friendly and welcoming which always helps to make the experience more enjoyable. Dived with Maria who was so nice and you can tell she has a real passion for diving and the underwater environment. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a enjoyable dive.

Came away with my 13 year old daughter who dives (and I don’t) and she was desperate to go. The communication was brilliant - even helping me get taxis from Costa Teguise! Adri was a great guide and put my mind totally at rest. My daughter had a great time, saw lots of fish - even sea horses! She also said it was the best equipment she’d used so far (10 dives previously in 5 different countries). Would 100% recommend

Dived with Scuba Legends and was very impressed with their organization and how diving activities were run. We were given a very comprehensive briefing and our guide Adri showed us lots of cool stuff - he clearly enjoys his job. The diving was really great, lots of Barracudas, Tunas and Amber jacks in the blue and in the shallows there were octopus, cuttlefish, nudibranchs and 5 different seahorses. I definitely reccomend Lanzarote as a diving-destination and Scuba Legends as a Dive Center - 5 stars from me!

We are so pleased that we booked to scuba dive with these guys. From the start Chantel who manages the bookings was clear, helpful and efficient; very quick responses. Our 6 dives were great, Adrian and Mo took into account our skills and qualifications. They were calm, organised and friendly. They did not rush any part of the process and took into account our desired experiences and depths. One of our members hired kit - this was of good quality. Adrian and Mo started with a clear briefing and kit check ahead of the sessions. The cost of diving was very reasonable and in my opinion very good value. Recommend the museum dive…. Great fun - We are planning our next visit !

My wife and I did two dives from Playa Chica with Scuba Legends. These were my wife's first two dives after her basic open-water certification, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We dove with Adrian. He was an excellent and competent instructor/guide. He took us out to see eel gardens, sea horses, barracudas, a grouper and many other creatures. All of the equipment we used was top notch and the upfront admin and coordination with Chantal was quick, organized and professional. If you find yourself in Lanzarote, I recommend taking a look at Scuba Legends.

The whole team at Scuba Legends are marvellous. The organisation is first rate from the booking to sizing - Chantal is an amazing lead. The diving team are dedicated consummate professionals who put safety first and make the whole experience fun too. The flexibility of dive options from Playa Chica is amazing , no two dives are the same. I planned for 8 days of diving and took 10 in total, just couldn’t get enough with the combination of the diving and the dive team of Adri, Mo and Jan. Coming back for more in November - it’s an experience not to be missed if only for a day, you will want more

I've dived with Scuba Legends for 3 months in March-April-May 2023 and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to dive in Lanzarote, first timers but also experienced divers. I enjoyed it a lot, the groups are small (max 4, but more often less), the dive instructors (I dove with Gery, Adrián and Jan) are skilled and take time explaining, and the communication with the school through Chantal was smooth and easy. They really helped me to level up in diving, while also having a lot of fun! Give it a go when you are on Lanzarote!

I did 4 dives during my holiday. Chantal organised everything perfectly, communication was excellent prior to arriving in Lanzarote. As arranged Gery picked us up from the hotel each morning. Gery is a fantastic diving instructor, very knowledgeable & experienced. He definitely made us both feel safe & at ease. He is also lots of fun and a great conversationalist, his passion for diving is very apparent. Being in a small group was very nice & we felt well looked after. All the diving equipment was in great condition. The diving in Lanzarote was superb, Museo Atlantico was breathtaking, and the other dives were also excellent, crystal clear water, lots of aquatic life to see. I would 100% recommend Scuba Legends to anyone interested in diving.

We (my son and I) dived 6 times with Scuba Legends during Dec-22. Four from the shore and two from the boat. All dives were guided by a very knowledgeable and obviously capable instructor (thanks Adrian). Everything was well organised, safe and fun. Each dive site was different but amazing (so much colour and life) and the team were incredibly friendly. Loved it, highly recommend it and will definitely dive with them again.

Fantastic morning diving with Gerry & Moritz, we completed a scuba dive refresher course followed by a pleasant dive to the blue hole! Gerry was very knowledgeable and both were a really good laugh. 10/10 would recommend this excellent dive school!
