Great variety of sites and a good overall orientation of the area. Market stop was fun, and loved the short walk in the forest. Relaxed and comfortable pace, so never felt rushed. Lots of free time to do your own thing. Well organized. These guys know their stuff! Thanks for sharing your island !

Itinerary
Our first stop will be Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of the island and the main point of the maritime connections of the Canary Islands. There you can see buildings that will captivate you, such as the Tenerife Auditorium or avant-garde constructions such as the Plaza de España or Plaza Weyler.
We will visit the Anaga Rural Park in the Teno massif, declared a Biosphere Reserve. The protected area has a network of paths that runs through much of the massif and allows access to different landscape units and traditional population centers. This type of vegetation is only preserved in very few places in the world, such as the Canaries.
Anaga
We will continue the route to La Laguna, the first city founded in Tenerife after its conquest. This historic jewel was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. Here we will walk through its picturesque streets brimming with history and culture.

Great tour We will recommend, la Laguna a Beautifull town, the forest with a lot of plants and trees species
This is the second tour I've done with this company. I really enjoyed Santa Cruz and La Laguna. I had expected them to be more of a big city with normal tall buildings like any other big city in the world, but was really impressed by the hidden gems at every corner... a small church, a bridge over a "barranco" and the architecture of official buildings. La Laguna was nice too, but I liked the atmosphere of Santa Cruz better. Anaga forest is a whole different story. It's like entering a whole different world, such lush green vegetation, roads so covered by tall trees that they become dark in full daylight, and the views are breathtaking. The little treck in the Forest of the Senses as they call it was something you need to experience... can't be described in words. A shoutout to the guide for his knowledge, and specially the fun way in which he told us everything, and the music accompanying in the bus! I would certainly book with this company again.
we were told that we'd be picked up at our resort, at 08.50h coach arrived at 09.10h then informed that a text had been sent previously, advising of amended pick up. said text arrived later, when on the coach. as for the trip - the guide seemed to spend more time explaining matters in Spanish than English. we were surprised by the amount of walking in Santa Cruz, having anticipated more of the city tour, by bus. one of us has mobility issues. disappointed by the visit to la Laguna. there are nicer, prettier areas, equally historic on the island.
We booked by Viator, the bus had no signs from this firm! Difficult to get the right bus! It took very long time with all the pickups! The stop in the capital was ok. The bus Trip in the northern island had a much too large bus ( too many people) for the bad and curving roads. La Laguna was great, they could have tould us more about what to see , for instance the university. The English from the guide was bad, the German even worse! But normally I understand both languages ( German best), but here it was quite difficult. Please make a tour with better guides, less people and let us rather pay more for it
Not enough time in Santa Cruz. Suggest passengers are informed where the toilets are in the market and to purchase food as the next opportunity is at 3:30 pm. Passengers need to be clear on when the bus is leaving as we waited nearly 30 mins in Santa Cruz for 2 no shows and 30 mins in Anaga for a couple. There was only time there to use the facilities and not see the hiking trail. We enjoyed La Laguna but only had 75 minutes there. All told I would not recommend this trip.
Excellent tour! Just enough time in all the right places. Really interesting guide and super driver. Really glad we did this and saw what the rest of the island can offer. Was initially put off reading some poor reviews but these were not true. The bus was prompt and the driving to and from was not long. There were lots of toilet stops and the aircon was fine. La Laguna was the highlight. The only suggestion would be to bring a snack / sandwich as lunch was about 2.30.
Loved the trip and the cities. So many things to know about it. The guide was funny and experienced.Thank you 😊
AVOID they are the worse, barely talks English, pick up location might change and you have to pay so much money to get there, they might drop you in a wrong location and lie to you , we had to walk 40 minutes to our hotel after a long day , they told us other side of the road is our hotel meantime it was 49 minutes walk
Our tour was an incredible experience from start to finish. Everything was smooth, well-organized, and thoughtfully planned.
It was an interesting day with a knowledgeable guide who was very nice and it was nice to see Santa Cruz and La Laguna. We were hoping that we would spend more time in the forest and perhaps have been able to do a short guided walk. We were also hoping to get more photo ops of the lushness of the forest and ravines, rather than with Mount Tiede in the background. We understand that it would be difficult for a bus to pull to the side of the road, but it would have been something that we would have liked.
Very well organised coach trip. The National park was cold and foggy, but I cannot hold the organiser for that. Other stops were sunnier and very interesting.
Totally enjoyed this tour of Northern Tenerife. Peter our guide was very informative, funny and engaging. Gustavo our driver was excellent as well. The tour of the different cities was enlightening, the views on the way to Anaga were breathtaking. The pace of the tour was pretty comfortable with ample opportunities for questions, photos and bathroom breaks. Overall a very worthwhile tour. Highly recommended.
This was an OK tour to see other parts of Tenerife that we didn't visit on the other full day tour we took to Mount Tiede, etc. Santa Cruz is nice to see, but La Laguna was nicer, and the trip to Anaga was not as interesting as the trip to Mount Tiede. Tour guide was good and provided lots of information.
Wonderful views and supreme knowledge of our tour guide. All questions answered and the guide was very considerate to all guests both to their language and accessibility needs. La Laguna was an amazing place to visit.
There was not enough time in santa cruz, only one hour, we were told it would be 2 - 3. La lauguna, nothing there to see, just a way to get you into their friends restaurant to have dinner, spent over an hour there, complete waste of time. Promised wine tasting. this did not happen.
I went on a day trip to Santa Cruz and northern part of the island!! Cannot recommend it enough!! Laura, the guide and Patricia, the driver were brilliant. It was great atmosphere and lots of fun. We would make an unplanned stops in beautiful spots for the photo. We were told a lot of interesting things about the island 🏝️ and made feel really comfortable. The island is beautiful and people are very friendly, they even stopped by my hotel to drop me off saving me walking. Go and enjoy if you have a chance!!! A.
The guide was very knowledgeable, we got lots of interesting information. The views on the way to Taganana were just spectacular and La Laguna is a beautiful little town with tons of character and charm. The only thing I would say if there was perhaps extra 30 mins in each location so we could enjoy the views and atmosphere it would make the trip less rushed.
The tour was fantastic, need more time in the capital city at leat 2 h , rest of places we had enough time
No one picked up us at my pick up point (Iberostar Selection Sabila) as per information from yours. I was waiting from 8am to 8:20am, I whatapps your customer service and called Atlantic Dolphin Travel S.L. The staff of Atlantic told me the pick up point was not at my hotel, it should be somewhere else, therefore I missed the tour on that day. I was very disappointed for the following reasons: 1) if the pick up point was not at my hotel, I am sure I will not join it. 2) if the pick up point was changed, either you or the Lead Traveler should let me know in advance. 3) The Lead Traveler should contact me if they have not seen me show up on time. I have told the whole story to your CS Florence and she will help to request a refund for me in this issue. Please process it as soon as possible and it was really a very bad experience for me because that was the last day of my beach holiday in Tenerife and it became a non happy ending for my trip. :(
Drive thru the Rain Forest, very competent driver 😍 Would have liked longer in Santa Cruz, 90mins was too short. La Laguna absolutely beautiful, will revisit. Need to be aware it is a guided walk around tho, so if walking is not a issue lots of interesting places & info from our guide who was excellent. Only problem was our pickup, was not the place or time on booking confirmation and had a very stressful start to the day 😳
Pick up was nice. The tour itself was incredibly beautiful. Tenerife isn't only for charter holidays, you simply have to watch it's beautiful nature. The only downside was that our guide spoke poorly English, and was quite hard to understand. However, our busdriver, Jesús, was an amazing driver on their dangerous roads. Overall, very nice trip.
Fantastic views from the winding mountain roads. Very interesting information given by the guide, delivered in multiple languages.
The route is interesting but journey is suffering. No toilet break, no snack break, no scenic spot stopping. We started the pickup route after 7 am and it took 3 hours both ways so 6 hours total just driving hotel to hotel. I stepped to the bus at 8am and we had first break and lunch at 2.30pm. DO NOT TAKE KIDS TO THIS TRIP. Even me as adult had tough time holding my bathroom needs and when asked answer was NEVER a toilet bus break. 1hour stop in Santa Cruz is not nearly enough. And the rest of it I can't even remember because I was exhausted. Oh, lunch was not optional, you get what you get and pay 18€ per person. There is no choice, no store, no tourist shop stops, nada. If you want to take pictures, just from the bus. If you want to walk around and see something. Do it another day. I say again, do not take kids, and have snacks with you, even tho eating or drinking on the bus is not allowed.
A terrific and varied day trip. First to lovely Santa Cruz to have a wander around for just over an hour. Then to historic La Laguna with its beautiful old mansions and old town. Followed by a trip through the mountains with stupendous scenery, finally arriving at tiny Taganama on the beach where we could have lunch if we wanted it. Then the drive back south via San Andres. Our guide, Peter, was terrific. Plenty of humour and with interesting insights into life on Tenerife and the history of the island. And our driver, Jesus, was an absolute marvel - negotiating narrow, winding roads with great skill. It was a fantastic day out - the best of 5 day trips I did in my 2 weeks on Tenerife and La Palma. Many thanks!
Very nice day tour in the North of Tenerife, going to places you'd probably won't find if you go by yourself renting a car. Pieter, the guide, told a lot about the island of Tenerife and the places we visited. The North of Tenerife is a must see die everyone! Totally different than the South and full of history.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable. A great way to spend one of my free days. Didn’t have lunch as I was feeling sick but my brother seemed to enjoy his lunch of fried fish, potato and salad
What a fantastic experience. Our guide, Peter, was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information throughout the trip. Seeing Santa Cruz was very interesting and the market was fascinating not at all what I expected. La Laguna felt like a different island altogether and I found the architecture very interesting. The anaga mountains and the views were incredible. We stopped several times to take photos. The drive down to Taganana was interesting and the coach driver earned a round of applause. The restaurant gave us a special menu (€16) which was lovely just a shame we didn't have any free time after eating. Las Teresitas was unremarkable so I'd have rather had the extra time in taganana but I enjoyed seeing San Andres and the tower that split. All in all a fantastic trip. Definitely one to book.
Awesome trip. Very interesting to see Santa Cruz, but La Laguna was fascinating as the old capital. Highlight was the trip down (up and) to Taganana, though I did feel for the lady who was scared of heights. Teresitas was the low point - just a brief look at a beach. Both Guide and driver were truly excellent. Highly recommended
The trip was well organised pick up was on time tour guide was very informative spent an hour in Santa Cruz visited beautiful la Laguna drove through anga national park and stopped for lunch in tanganaga beautiful area I wanted to have more time in Santa Cruz as 1 hour was not enough time to see all the amazing shops but what is good about this tour is you have the option to stay in Santa Cruz and the coach picks you up in the afternoon so I have rebooked this trip next week purely to see Santa Cruz do doing the whole trip gives you an insight to where you would like to go back to and spend more time and for me this was Santa Cruz and la Laguna
The guide Andrea made this excursion spectacular; it was truly beautiful to go from the intense heat of the south to the cooler and more humid climate of the north. Although there were no springs, the feeling was as if we were under a waterfall. Without a doubt, it will be one of the most beautiful and memorable excursions of my life. If I write like this, is it okay😅
The description of the activity does not correspond with the reality regarding the visit of Anaga, since the bus parked in the municipality of El Rosario and accessed an urban park where you can see the laurel forest, but you can not walk more than 5 minutes through the same since the routes are cut, the company was consulted before doing the activity and I was not indicated this situation
Wonderful landscapes, spectacular treatment, my family and I loved this excursion, it is perfect to know the island better and enjoy the nature of Tenerife. Very good choice.
The capital of Tenerife simply amazing, an alternative plan that fills peace and culture, many thanks to the guide and driver for the incredible treatment
we received a confirmation with a pick up time of 08.50 at hotel A. Later we received a reconfirmation saying 08.00 at hotel B. this was also on the attached ticket. So at 07.50 we were at location B. At 08.30 no bus. You can't reach them by phone. Eventually sent mail. We got an answer that we had to be at location A. To which we replied that we found this very annoying and confusing. But in the email we were told that it is our own fault because it makes sense that you keep the time / place of the first confirmation ?!? We don't think so if you get a reconfirmation and tickets with different details at a later date. Because we ourselves were so alert to contact, we could still get to the other location on time, partly because the bus arrived at 09.15 instead of 08.50. We deeply resent Viator for this state of affairs. Eventually we were on the road for 1 1/2 hours before we were finally picked up. While we stayed 10 minutes away from the final boarding point. But no apology has been offered. That's what we hate the most. In addition, we had booked an English tour. We were on a bus with mostly Spaniards and Italians. The guide told everything extensively in Spanish and Italian. Then followed a short version in English. About the excursion itself we can say that the visit to Santa Cruz is totally unnecessary. You've only been in this town for a very short time and only see a very small part. Much of the time is spent in an indoor market, which is not interesting. Better to make a longer stop in the beautiful nature park. Now there was a 20-minute stop. The bus ride through the park was beautiful. La Laguna we found a very nice town. Be sure to visit this, but you can also do that with a city bus. Our advice is, do not book through this organization but directly with one of the booking offices you will find everywhere in Los Cristianos. For us, never Viator again.
We were told another meeting place. After short correspondence with the organizer, we were offered the next day to make the trip. We accepted and then started the adventure. In Santa Cruz there was still carnival, so we wandered through the city looking for our bus. Many roads were closed. The tour guide and the bus driver did their best despite tickets. The drive through the Anagage Mountains is impressive but not for the faint of heart. La Laguna is then a small oasis with a lovely old town. The day was varied and will remain in our memory.
In Santa Cruz we would have liked to see the opera, which unfortunately was not possible in time.We had almost too much time for that in La Laguna
A short time for all that there is to see, if the excursion were to be prolonged for at least another hour it would be much better.
Hartstikke jammer!
Great experience! Paolo, our guide, was able to explain clearly and was very knowledgeable about history, geography, art, architecture and even botany! Comfortable bus travel. Recommended experience
Too precious for whatever it is. First of all, the Guide was very friendly and is aware of a lot. Unfortunately we were in a mixed group so the Guide had to constantly switch languages, which became very tiring and he almost didn't stay silent. Aloe vera farm is nice to see and get explanations but very short. About 20 minutes explanation to then quickly go to the shop to be able to sell. La Laguna itself, a flop for me personally. Nice buildings, yes. The weekly Point of Sale should be taken with a grain of salt, this is just a covered place full of stands and local food that is fresh. So not ideal for another full day with walking around. Too little time to discover Laguna yourself. The farm with dinner. Absolutely no farm, nice interior but mainly aimed to receive groups of tourists and provide them with a meal that is very limited. 2 pieces of cheese, bag of soup, 2 chicken legs with hard potatoes. Positive point is the 4 bottles of liquor on the table. The afternoon was far too long. More on the bus and listening to the exhausting explanations than doing other things. For us this was definitely not worth his money.
Unfortunately, we did not go because there was a computer problem so the bus never came to pick us up in front of the hotel as planned. We were refunded the next day because our vacation was over.
A very well-guided tour, we were in interesting places and our guide Peter was very humorous and knew the language German well! All in all it was a successful trip.
We were picked up at 9 in the morning and we spent half an hour picking up people from different places. We leave from Puerto de la Cruz for Santa Cruz. There we had to wait for another bus to arrive. When the people got off the other bus the guide gave us a few indications of where the market was and said he left us an hour free. We complained and he gave us a brief explanation of the square. When we arrived at La Laguna he gave us two brief explanations in a street and also let us off the hook. Then we went to Taganana, arrived a little late and were offered to eat menu (16€) in a "restaurant". The Lagoon is a very nice place and also highlight the landscapes up to Taganana. As a very negative aspect the guide who only gave us free time to rest and thus not explain. You see little interest. We would have liked the excursion to be a truly GUIDED TOUR.
