A very unique and immersive experience about the culture of the Canary islands. You're not exactly watching a play, but instead subliminal storytelling through the visuals, vocals and achoreography all of which were a specrable to behold, don't be surprised if you go people will whack their phones out like they're at a rave. Humor is very slapstick oriented, not exactly my favourite but most of the audience loved it and will at least make you crack a smile. As a 26 year old solo traveller, it's a delightful break from all the parties and sports activities here in Gran Canaria. I would highly recommend at least giving this a watch. 5/5, the food slaps. PS: shoutouts to Veramuza and Vincento, they were very accommodating and made the service extra special :).

The show was absolutely excellent the dancers and costumes are amazing . The food was good but they managed to forget to serve my husband one of the 3 courses . They also tried to charge me for a drinks package I didn’t have but once I pointed it out they did change my bill. The food was nice it was just a shame about the service and bill .
Wow.... wow. What an amazing show. Worth every penny.
Wow. We loved this night. The food was good. The music was good. The singing and dancing brilliant. And it even had me in tears with the comedy sections. The admission fee was well worth it, we paid for one of extra drinks options which paid for itself. The food was in amongst the acts which accounts for the length of the show. The staff serving were excellent, they had everything down to a tea, couldn't fault them.
I was very disappointed with my experience at Nomads. Having attended their previous show in La Scala, San Augustin, I arrived with very high expectations. That performance had completely overwhelmed me — I was genuinely in awe of the spectacle. It had wonderful continuity, superb interpretive dance, fabulous costumes and great interaction with the audience. Most importantly, it captured and transmitted something of the colour, energy and special atmosphere of Gran Canaria. Unfortunately, Nomads felt very much second-rate and second-best by comparison. There were some excellent dancers, particularly at the front, and the costumes were impressive. However, at times some of the performers appeared distracted by people they obviously knew in the audience, occasionally seeming to lose concentration or forget their place. This took away from the professionalism and polish I had expected. The seating also made a huge difference to the experience. If you are seated at the side of the auditorium, it is extremely difficult to appreciate the “extravaganza” being presented at the front. I certainly would not recommend Table 55 if you want to enjoy the full visual impact of the show. Accessibility was another disappointment. I arrived with two members of my family, one of whom uses a walking stick, and I specifically pointed this out on arrival. Despite this, we were required to walk virtually the entire length of the auditorium and negotiate a number of different areas and steps before reaching our table. Greater consideration should surely be given to guests with mobility difficulties when allocating seating. On a positive note, the service was good and I have no complaints in that regard. The costumes were also excellent, and there were clearly some very talented performers. Sadly, though, Nomads simply lacked the razzmatazz, spectacle and special feeling I had experienced at the previous show. That production left me wanting to tell everyone about it; this one left me feeling that something was missing.
Excellent show…… Fantastic service…. Didn’t have the food but it looked amazing. Staff can’t do enough for you. Excellent- thank you ☺️ Second time to the show and loved it as much as the first.
The start time was 8 p.m. but the show didn't start until 8.30 p.m. so a lot of waiting whilst meals were served. The show itself was brilliant.
We were two couples and we absolutely loved our evening at the “Nomad” show at Sala Scala! Everything was exceptional: the staging, the dancers, the singers, the acrobats… it really felt like being in Las Vegas, and yet the price remains very affordable. We chose the all-inclusive package (meal + standard drinks) and it was perfect. The menu was delicious, the service was ultra-friendly, and the fact that the show paused between each course allowed us to fully enjoy every act. The venue is brilliantly designed: each row is elevated, there really are no bad seats, and we were right at the edge of the stage with an unbeatable view. An amazing experience that we highly recommend without hesitation… and we’re already looking forward to going back!
Myself, wife and daughter went to the Nomad show on 25/07. Absolutely brilliant night, the performance, vocals, food and service were amazing If you’re thinking of booking, but maybe hesitant about cost don’t be… it really is worth it.. I’m sure some of this talented cast will be on London west end before long!!
Excellent , very professional show and amazing set , food was really tasty and staff very attentive, would recommend this show
Loved every min of the show and food was amazing 10/10
Wonderful (and family appropriate) show. A bit of history with a modern twist. The music and performances were spectacular! Delicious food and great service made it a night to remember.
Disappointing experience. Booked directly. Arrived for 7:30 as understood show to start at 8, there was a lot of waiting until it got started around 8:30. Slow service to order a drink. Got a bread basket for 5 people with 3 pieces of bread and when requested more was told they would have to make it and so it never arrived. Starters were fine. Main course of meat/vegetable skewer with couscous was pretty tasteless. The show itself started well. There was a comedy element which didn't really fit in with the flow. Quite a sexualised dance show which did not seem very appropriate for our children. Left before dessert.
We went last week to this show evening and were absolutely blow away by how good it was. It is definitely a memorable show to attend and had a cast of 30 providing one of the best evenings we have ever been to!, an absolute must to visit when in the Gran Canaries. The 3 hour show and VIP meal was 6 Stars and great value for money. it was full on entertainment, visually great with huge video screens covering the whole stage and clear as crystal sound to accompany. It had nods to a Cirque de Soleil and told the history across 3 continents. The 30 strong cast were simply amazing and costumes beautiful. A full on singing and dancing entertainment experience which is a must to visit whilst in Gran Canaries. It was dubbed as the best shows in Europe which can't disagree with.
Amazing service from mariaha and Jonathan and all the staff awsome amazing wow
Amazing atmosphere the show is not to be missed and Dinner was awesome
This is a SENSATIONAL show. Taking you through the historical ages of the indigenous peoples of the Canarian Islands. The stage is innovatively arranged/enabled to provide some super special effects, supported by clever lighting and dramatic music. Dozens of fit, attractive, and scantily clad young people will sing, dance and cavort (yes, cavort) through two hours of stimulating entertainment. We bought the whole package including the (four course) meal - the main course listed as veal; this making me a little uncomfortable. Well, I don't think it was (a square block of some kind of minced meat is a better description) and may have been misunderstood in translation??. The courses are quite small, but tasty and perfectly edible; aimed to compliment each of the corresponding Acts. We did not think the meal was really worth the extra cost but you may feel that it is desirable to tick all the boxes, given that you will probably only ever visit once! Whatever - this is a unique and engaging show; a cracking way to spend one of your holiday evenings.
Overall it was a really enjoyable experience that I would recommend if you’re visiting Gran Canaria. The show starts at 6:30pm, but doors open at 5:30pm, which gives you plenty of time to get settled, use the facilities, and order drinks before everything begins. The evening runs until around 9:30pm and is well-paced throughout. There were a few minor issues with customer service at the start. Despite confirming my booking and dietary requirements via email a month in advance, the staff on site didn’t seem to have that information. However, they handled the situation very well; I was kindly upgraded to the VIP section and allowed to adjust the set menu. I ended up having pizza bread rolls as a starter, which were delicious. From that point on, the table service was excellent, with staff regularly checking in to make sure everything was okay with food and drinks. The structure of the evening is nicely organised into four acts, with breaks in between for each course. It goes: Act 1, starter, Act 2, main course, Act 3, dessert, and finally Act 4. The breaks are well-timed and give you a chance to relax, enjoy your meal, and take a quick break if needed. The performances themselves were very entertaining. The singers and dancers put on a great show, and the MC added a lot of personality to the evening. He was particularly engaging with the audience and even threw in some impressive beatboxing (think a Will Smith “Men in Black 2” vibe), which was a fun. One thing to note: the Origen show is advertised as family-friendly, but I would personally suggest it’s more suitable for older children (12+). During Act 2, there are some slightly “spicier” moments with suggestive dancing and a Rihanna “S&M” cover; nothing extreme, but worth being aware of depending on your preferences. Overall, this was a great night out with strong performances, good food, and a lively atmosphere. Despite the small hiccup at the beginning, the staff handled things well, and it didn’t take away from the experience. I’d definitely recommend making time for it if you’re in Gran Canaria.
Was absolutely amazing show coming again soon
One of the best shows I have ever seen! The waiters were amazing too, especially David.
It was very nice show, we liked!
Incredibly enjoyable eve in beautiful surroundings with a very professional cast . Costumes and stage were surperb. On top of that, food was above avg for a cabaret style show. Maybe a bith overpriced but well worth it
This is a professional well organised show and not to be missed. A great venue and helpful staff to make the experience so you feel special. The ambiance is fantastic. Food and complimentary drink was excellent. Then a fabulous non stop show that got better and better. A well recommended night.
An amazing night, our waiter Vicente was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back 🥰
Tickets said 21:30 however it was 22:30 before we were seated and the waiting area before we went in was very open and cold a glad it wasn’t raining. The waiting area could be woth bejng covered and heaters jn there. The delay liked to be the show before running over time. The show itself was amazing. Very put together and very energetic. Table service was very good to so well done Nicole our server. Just one complaint is that even though there was some English spoken a lot of it was in Spanish so some of the jokes were lost on those that don’t speak Spanish… asa an island that attracts tourists English MC would help make it more appealing to tourists.
An excellent show. The entire event is superbly managed and the performance is first class. We sat at a premium table and had good views. The menu options available when booking are standard, vegetarian, vegan. We all had the vegan options, the dessert was especially good. There show is performed between meal courses. But, there are 5 performances, so at the end, ensure to stay right to the end, otherwise you’ll walk out too early. We did that the first time, but as we returned with other people a second time, we go to finally see the entire show. It’s spectacular! The table service is also top class.
OMG truly the most wonderful entertainment and food. We loved every minute of the 3 hour experience. Can't wait to go back again to see the new show. Moulin rouge Vegas. Thank you for an amazing evening. Nigel and Paul xx
Great show, performers were amazing, food was good, considering the number of people they were catering for. Compere was fun, would recommend
Amazing experience watching this show. Funny in the best ways and always impressive. Siluerio our waiter was amazing.
*Completely inappropriate and vulgar – absolutely not family-friendly* We attended this show on New Year’s Eve with friends, based on a promotion that advertised it as suitable for families. The reality was shockingly different and deeply disappointing. The show was extremely vulgar, featuring content that was absolutely not appropriate for children or a family audience. Several scenes were clearly of a sexual nature, including moments where dancers explicitly simulated orgies. One segment included a nearly nude transgender performer with their bare backside fully exposed. This is not only unsuitable for children, but honestly, we would not recommend it even for adults. Besides being highly vulgar, the performance lacked quality and artistry. The choreography was unimpressive, and the dancers themselves were nothing special—far from what you would expect at a professional level. Overall, a tasteless, low-level, and misleading production. Total disappointment.
Fantastic show, world class performers. Everything about the night was super. Adults and kids loved it, the food was very very good. Will highly recommend this show, one of the highlights of our holiday!
We attended the show today and it was absolutely wonderful in every sense. The performances were professional, energetic, and beautifully coordinated, combining music, dance, acrobatics, and visual effects into a truly immersive experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and engaging from start to finish, and you could feel the passion and effort of everyone involved in the production. The stage design, lighting, and sound were all of very high quality and added a lot to the overall impact of the show. It was not just entertaining, but also memorable — a perfect evening experience that exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the Canary Islands and looking for something special and unique
This was a great experience and comes highly recommended! We were a family of nine attending the Origins show with dinner. We had booked standard tickets, but were seated in good locations not far from the stage. What was excellent: The show itself. We have attended shows in both Las Vegas and London, and this production was extremely well executed and fully on par with what we have seen elsewhere. We had two teenagers with us who were absolutely amazed by the performance. The level of endurance, professionalism, coordination, strength, and acrobatics on display was truly impressive. Fantastic show! What could have been better: The main course (veal) had a texture similar to meatloaf, and we missed having more side dishes such as potatoes or vegetables. That said, the portions were generous. Service was also a bit slow when ordering drinks, though it was likely a busy evening for the waitstaff. We would also note a downside regarding ticket pricing: there is no automatic group discount when booking more than six tickets. We only discovered afterward that discounts are available under “Promotions” on their website and must be accessed via a specific link. For larger groups, it is worth checking this in advance to avoid paying full price unnecessarily. Overall, a memorable evening, mainly thanks to the outstanding show! Thank you!
Generally not a bad show but unfortunately mixed with non traditional sex oriented performances . Not to everyone’s liking
The quality of the performances is very good indeed. It is like a four act cabaret show with food served between the acts (we did not take the dinner option). There is a sort of compère prior to each act who we thought was terrible - very juvenile and seemed to think he was in a pantomime. The show is about three hours long and quite good value at €62 per person but it could usefully be a bit shorter.
The story is something that’s get me. The elements and the way how they performed. Great job! Definitely in to more of this! Thankyou for this experience!
Great show and food was amazing I went with my wife and 16 year old daughter They both loved it Food was excellent
Wow! What an experience — one I highly recommend. It was full of theatre, comedy, acrobatics, and gymnastics, keeping us engaged and entertained from start to finish. The story, tracing the formation of the islands to the present day, was beautifully done. A definite 10 out of 10! I only wish we could have stayed for the Vegas Rouge show.
An amazing show with beautiful songs and voices, humor, impressive acrobatics, completed by a delicious dinner and super friendly service. Truly an memorable experience.
Diana Dundalk R/3/4 best officiant ever. The program about history of Grand Canaria was so exacting and manific ❤️❤️❤️❤️
a fantastic show experience with very good food, lots of dancing/acrobatics and singing, personal very friendly and professional, the evening went by quickly, definitely worth repeating
Superb show, genuinely took our breath away at times. We booked not knowing what to expect and we got an absolutely amazing experience m. The show team were amazing and so skilled even my grumpy 15 year old had a smile on his face all night. We had a small hiccup with drinks service but was soon rectified. If you visit Gran Canaria and don’t book this show you are really missing out
Had an amazing time. Well worth the money. Food was excellent and service was outstanding. Also had really good seats. Would highly recommend and go again.
We had an unforgettable evening yesterday at Sala Scala. The show was a stunning celebration of Canarian culture — inspired by the islands’ volcanic origins, rich heritage, and the fusion of traditions that shape their identity. From mythology and conquest to Carnival and drag culture, every act told a story rooted in 100% Canarian essence. The performances were breathtaking, blending music, dance, acrobatics, and cutting-edge visuals into one spectacular production. We were completely captivated from start to finish. The service was impeccable, and the food and cocktails were out of this world. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a full sensory experience. If you’re visiting Gran Canaria, Sala Scala is an absolute must. It’s more than entertainment — it’s a powerful tribute to the spirit of the islands. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — Pure magic!
Thank you for the marvellous experience. Honestly it was more than we expected. The show was breathtaking and very well performed. We loved the singers, dancers and everything. Thank you for the great food. Very tasteful and made very well. Thank you chef. And not in the last Luciano , Cristobal and David for the great service and the care you gave us. Totally worth it
From moment we were collected in the mini bus by Silverio, to the end of the evening, the whole experience was brilliant. We were well looked after throughout, the food was lovely and the show was fantastic. I really liked the way we ate a course and then watched an act, this went on throughout the evening. Great evening, we had our 13 year old son, and he also really enjoyed the eving. We would highly recommend
Booked seats in the premium tier and was allocated a brilliant table which was in the middle of the space, allowing awesome views of all the fantastic acts and gorgeous dancers. I also booked a drinks package which gave us 2 bottles of wine and 4 bottles of water, so we were set for the night. The food was tasty- 4 courses and paced between each segment of the show, so that was great. Incidentally, we went to Scala in a taxi from the Yumbo- it was €10 each way, so not expensive at all. They also have a lovely bar to wait ahead of the show, so if you arrive ahead of 7pm, you can relax and get a drink there. Thoroughly recommend a trip here if you go to Gran Canaria on holiday- it's a quality night out.
Great show honestly comparing to the moulin rouge the artists are simply outstanding .dinner spectacular and venue too . I recommend this as a great experience in Gran Canaria !
We had high hopes for Sala Scala after reading the glowing reviews, but sadly, our experience didn’t match the hype. Let me start with the positives: the acrobatics were truly impressive, and several performers clearly gave it their all. The first three segments of the show were quite entertaining. However, each part lasted only around 22 minutes, followed by a 30-minute break. This constant stop-and-start made it hard to stay engaged or feel connected to the performance. The final act was especially disappointing. It felt like an afterthought, as if they just needed to fill time. A staircase and moving panel appeared, but what followed lacked impact. Even the final number, “Sala Scala,” fell completely flat and had no uplifting or memorable quality. We were seated near the bar, and the loud conversations weren’t from the guests, but from the staff – which really disrupted the atmosphere. The sound was poorly balanced: the singers were often too quiet, while sound effects were far too loud. Some songs didn’t match the vocal range of the performers, making the music sound dull. At one point, a singer looked visibly disinterested. And that’s the heart of the issue: the show looks good on the surface, but it lacks soul. You can have beautiful people in glitter and lights, but without genuine feeling, it doesn’t land. On a positive note, the comedienne who opened each segment and the hostess – an incredible dancer – were true highlights of the evening. Overall, if you enjoy long breaks and visuals over substance, this might work for you. But for us, it just didn’t connect.
One of the best Shows I have been at ever it was fantastic and the food was amazing delighted I brought all the family well worth it what an experience
