Puerto De Mogán: Coastal Cruise With Optional Snorkeling & Lunch

I just really want to echo so many of the other reviews. These days genuine, friendly and good value service is getting (sadly) harder to find. But not with Yellow Boat. Honestly from the seeing we got on board it was just so pleasant, relaxed, interesting and yet also comfortable and superb value. You get a real feeling of a family business working hard to succeed and they definitely do. The owners’ genuine enthusiasm is infectious and adds to the experience. Really really cannot recommend highly enough, if you’re looking for an interesting, relaxed, good value and totally enjoyable boat trip this is the one!

Fantastic little boat trip. Marta and Ruben are so lovely and super knowledgeable. Boat is clean and tidy. Tapas served was delicious which they would refill. Great to have photos and drone footage included. Would not hesitate to recommend this trip

Best Boat trip we’ve been on in any country. Family of four with two young boys! Relaxed, informative, great food, Great Boat and most importantly great hosts. 10/10 couldn’t fault it at all. Worth every penny!!!

By far our favourite day on our whole holiday! I would highly recommend to anyone! We are a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2children (7&9years) We all had a wonderful time! Everything from the minute we stepped on boat was perfect. Ruben and his wife were so lovely and very attentive It’s not like any boat trip I’ve been on, very small group of us and very personal I was very worried as me and my son often suffer with motion sickness, but we didn’t this time! The cruise out to the beach was short and once we stopped we spent most of the time in the sea! I would defiantly do this trip again when we come back! Thank you both for making it so memorable. Xx

Another amazing family trip with Marta and Ruben — they’re the perfect hosts. The boat is pristine, the snorkelling gear is top‑quality, and the snorkelling spots are breathtaking, with great guidance if you want it. My boys were obsessed with the paddle boards, and my daughter hired a GoPro to capture all the fish, with the footage sent over that same afternoon. An absolutely brilliant experience. Would recommend to everyone.

We had an excellent family trip on the yellow boat. Thoroughly enjoyed snorkelling and cruise plus a lovely lunch and drinks. Super helpful hosts.. All very relaxed and friendly. Appreciated having a designated area for our family so was not cramped at all. Highly recommended

Myself and my 16 year old daughter went on the yellow boat trip yesterday and it was brilliant. We sailed up the coast line where we saw flying fish, the cliffs were very picturesque you could see the layers of formation, very interesting. We anchored in a lovely quiet cove where we went snorkeling and paddle boarding we added on the jetski which was only £35 which my daughter loved. We had unlimited drinks and a lovely lunch. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again next time.

We had a wonderful cruise along the South Gran Canaria coast side, joined a hidden bay and enjoyed wonderful snorkeling, stand-up paddeling and Jetski. Rubén and Marta offer a familiar atmosphere on board and explained interesting facts about the beautiful fish scenery alongwith facts about the volcanic surrounding. 100% recommendation, we had a wonderful time with you. Simply perfect! A wonderful 3-hour journey out on the sea. It was a great experience for swimming, snorkeling, and boating. Marta and Ruben are a very nice, friendly couple. They even provided free photos, drinks, and snacks! We truly enjoyed everything, and the 3 hours passed by very quickly. For €55, it is more than satisfactory. Highly recommended!

It was a really nice day out on the water. The husband and wife team are the best hosts you could wish for. Enjoyed the snorkelling and the added extra of jet whilst on the water.

5 of 5 stars- easy cruise to easy snorkeling. Saw fish, sea stars, crabs, and a sea slug. Well run and good lunch & snacks on board. Multiple masks and float assistance if you need help swimming. Watch out that Fridays are very busy with the local Mogan Market - allow extra time to get to the boat or pick another day.

What a highlight! This trip was everything we wanted and more. Fantastic guides - friendly and knowledgeable. Great experience to snorkel in the bay and then warm up on deck with homemade sangria and tapas. Could rave about this trip all day!! We shall be back!!

I went on this trip with my friend and it was my first time snorkelling. Rubèn and Marta are so lovely and everything was explained in detail. We were given some food during our snorkelling stop, they offer flippers, two types of snorkels, noodles (for swimming) and a paddle board. This is definitely something I would do while in Gran Canaria as it’s so fun and the staff are so friendly.

What a gem of a trip, everything from ease of booking to knowledge and friendliness of Marta and Rueben. The whole experience was a perfect end to our holiday. If we had had more time we would book another trip with them.

I went with my daughter and a friend both 20 , we all had a fab time , I myself found the water to cold but was able to float on their paddle board they provide and snorkel that way , so was quite content , with that , we saw a variety of different species of fish , it was a fab day

A lovely relaxed boat trip with the welcoming hosts, Ruben and Marta, who made everyone feel so at ease and are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their coastline. The boat was comfortable and spotless, with plenty of space for everyone and the snorkelling spot had crystal clear water and plenty of fish to spot. Tasty snacks and plentiful drinks. A bonus was receiving lots of great pictures and videos of the day afterwards. Thank you!

What made the Yellow Boat stand out was that nothing was forced upon us—there was no pressure to buy pictures or pay extra for the drone. Rubén and Marta are an amazing husband-and-wife team. They were so welcoming and their smiles made the atmosphere beautiful. The snorkeling was amazing (we saw plenty of fish!), and the food yummy! Everything—from the sangria to the soft drinks, water, and fresh fruit—was unlimited and prepared perfectly by the owners. Getting the free drone photos and videos as a souvenir was such a generous touch. This trip is definitely worth the price and was the highlight of my visit. Yellow boat We had 3 wonderful hours on the Yelly Boat - even though there was a lot of wind and Waves and we got a little seasick. Marta and Ruben made us feel so welcome and safe on board and told us about what to find in the water. The food was excellent and the snorkeling was funny. I recommend guests to choose the offered full face masks - much better than the original snorkeling masks I have tried in other snorkeling experiences. If I should snorkel another time with the same water temperatur ( it was said it was 19 degrees) and for more than 15 minutes I would prefer doing it with a wetsuit because of the body temperature feels cooling to much down. The option to lie in the sun upstairs on the ship was excellent. Thanks a lot to M>arta and Ruben - we can highly recommend the boat trip. Per and Jytte from Denmark

A wonderful trip, Marta and Ruben were great hosts. Despite the slightly choppy conditions, the snorkelling spot was great, plenty of fish and good visibility. Useful information about the sea creatures and the terrain. Nice snacks! All the equipment is provided, or you can bring your own. You don't have to take any photos, as Ruben takes photos and videos and emails them to you a few days after the trip. We've done lots of snorkelling trips all over the world, and this one is highly recommended.

You won’t meet a nicer couple than Marta and Rueben, couldn’t do enough for their guests. Lovely experience, very enjoyable for all the family, highly recommend.

Fabulous outing - Marta and Ruben are wonderful hosts and take great care of their clients. A fun outing with snorkeling,lovely snacks and great explanations of the area. Our weather was a little choppy that curtailed the snorkeling somewhat but overall a great time!

Absolutely amazing. The couple who run and own it were so friendly and full of so much information. Had the best time they even gave free food and drinks I wouldn't have any as I felt cheeky my kids though loved the food and pop and heard the sangria is amazing and home made

Communication was instant with Marta, who contacted me immediately on WhatsApp. I was booking for a group of 23 pax and Marta and Ruben made our trip unforgettable experience. Both adults and children all had such a brilliant time. We’ve also now received pictures and video that they took of us. I cannot recommend the yellow boat highly enough, thank you so much and we will be using you again when we visit again.

Would absolutely recommend. Lovely little boat, friendly welcome and information en route to undeveloped bay. Snorkelling the highlight, great fun. There is a choice of masks and there were a couple of paddle boards too. Veggie snacks provided plus drinks. Photos and some video also made available by hosts. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

It was brilliant the people were so nice great for kids and adults, drinks and food was great took loads of pictures for us so we could enjoy tg day with loads of memories! Would defo recommend and such lovely views and the snorkelling is so great with lovely views would defo recommend

If you are thinking of booking a boat trip whilst in Puerto de Mogan, book this one! We are a family of 3, 2 adults and a 13 year old, we arrived at the harbour and the boat was easy to find, just look for the yellow boat obviously! We had a very warm greeting and were seated, a short, yet informative talk was given, then we were on our way. The scenery is simply stunning and very natural, we arrived at a small cove where everything need to snorkel/ swim was provided, even full face snorkels with a prescription lens, which my daughter used as she wheres glasses. I was the only passenger who did not swim in the sea as I have a hidden disability, but no questions were asked and I was not made to feel in any way awkward at all, so thank you! Food and drinks were provided on the boat at no extra cost, we had fruit juice and cans of coke and Fanta, the food was warm Canarian potatoes, fresh bread and Spanish omelette, they also had crisp and fruit available, this was all delicious and the perfect snack, we were even offered more when we had eaten ours. The boat itself was far better than we expected, it was immaculately clean and the toilet was spotless, with a pleasant aroma and even ladies sanitary products provided in a small basket, which is an excellent and thoughtful idea! The music played on board the boat was at a pleasant volume and was a nice touch. If you are looking for a calm, relaxing boat trip, then this is the one for you! I would 100% recommend this trip to anyone, especially families and I would book again without hesitation!

Marta and Ruben were very friendly, also very knowledgeable about the coastline everyone felt comfortable with the snorkeling and what types of fish they would see and no one was disappointed they also provided tapas food and free soft and alcohol drinks. They also had a drone taking pic to send to people to enjoy there day over and over again. I would highly recommend there trip for families and friends.

Booked our trip for the 9.15am session and from the minute we arrived both Marta and Reuben were attentive. While Marta captaines the boat Reuben was full of information about the whole Puerto Mogan area. Was happy to chat about everything and anything. Would highly, highly recommend booking this trip with Marta and Reuben and I hope we get to come back and try the wind trip in the winter.

We had a brilliant afternoon on this well organised trip. You are allocated comfortable seating, and there is also room on the top deck for sunbathing if you want to do that. Marta and Ruben are very friendly with lots of good advice for using the snorkellig equipment. There were also pool noodles and paddleboards to use, which was great. We had lots of time in the water and then afterwards enjoyed delicious tapas. They were generous with the drinks, which included lovely homemade sangria. Ruben took photos and drone footage, which he said he will email to everyone this week. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and definitely recommend it, thank you!

We had such a wonderful time on the yellow boat. A husband and wife team both very knowledgeable and friendly. Ruben took the time to chat to everyone on the boat and take some lovely photos which were emailed to us a few days later. Some delicious food and drinks were included in the price. All the equipment for snorkelling etc was available. I truly cannot fault it. Would recommend to many. Thankyou for such a fantastic trip!

Overall this boat trip was enjoyable. The couple running it are lovely and honestly couldn't have been more helpful/friendly! The made a good team and clearly love what they do and the trips are a well oiled machine. The only thing that let the trip down a bit was that the snorkeling wasnt great the day we went. Not really thier fault but did impact on the enjoyment. The sea was a bit rough and it had disturbed a lot of sand/ seaweed so the sea wasnt as crystal clear tranquil blue you see in the brochures. Also the spot they go to is very busy with other boats which is a shame. I would still recommend it though and would absolutely choose it over any of the other tours. You get some tapas, free drinks and pictures sent afterwards to your email, there was a maximum of about 25 people on the boat with you so feels more intimate/quiet.

Marta and Ruben made our twin boys birthday today with a well organised, friendly and informative trip with some great snorkelling, paddle boarding and endless refreshments. I would highly recommend this boat trip and looking forward to re visiting next year.

The boat trip was a great addition to our holiday in Gran Canaria! Ruben and Marta go out of their way to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time. Ruben was informative about the island and the kinds of fish we could expect to see during the snorkeling. We were also sent photographs and drone videos of our experience free of charge, which is something I haven't seen offered by other boat trips. The bottomless drinks and Spanish tapas on board also added to the experience, and we would definitely recommend that others try this excursion if you are planning on visiting Puerto de Mogán!

What a fantastic morning we had on The Yellow Boat snorkeling experience! It was without a doubt the best morning of our holiday. Marta and Ruben were wonderful, knowledgeable hosts and Marta's skills as captain when reversing the boat into the dock were particularly impressive. They supported even the most nervous to snorkel by providing pool noodles and sound advice. They even had mask inserts for glasses wearers. The food served was delicious and plentiful. We could not fault this experience at all, it was just amazing. Thank you Yellow Boat!

Our Yellow Boat snorkeling experience was lovely. The boat wasn’t crowded, which made it feel relaxed and personal. The owners were absolutely lovely, friendly, approachable, and clearly passionate about what they do. There were plenty of drinks and little snacks on board, and the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. We had a great time and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mogan.

This snorkeling experience in Puerto de Mogán is amazing! The owners, Ruben and Marta, are very helpful and truly want you to have a great time. Instead of snorkeling in a harbor, you go to a small beach that can only be reached by boat, which is absolutely beautiful! Definitely recommended! The atmosphere on the boat was super relaxed.

Small group boat tour leaves early to avoid other boats at the snorkelling bay. We saw a wide variety of fish. You will be extremely lucky to see an octopus. Hosts were great. Good and drinks all free. One of the best boat trips I have been on.

Genuinely excellent trip with a friendly company that went above and beyond to provide a great experience. You are allocated comfortable seats with the top deck being available for sunbathing. The views from the boat are spectacular. The Snorkelling is good with very good equipment provided. The weather was a bit choppy on the day that we went but this didn't hamper our enjoyment at all. We had a range of ages and everyone really enjoyed it. Thanks again Yellow Boat!

Recommended experience, swiming was very fun and the boat trip and eveything is cool. They should have some underwater cameras or something extra, since the drone footage is quiete lackluster
