About Activity
This activity has been designed by a local ‘expert’, who has created a fun experience that takes you to some of the town’s highlights and the lesser-known places, away from all the tourists. The puzzles are designed to help you experience the place from a different perspective – using landmarks, murals, statues etc - and you’ll even learn some ‘fun facts’ along the way.
The self guided aspect of Adventure Hunt means that you can rush through as fast as you like or stop for a drink or something to eat as you like. The app remembers your progress and even allows you to complete your Adventure Hunt the another day.
Adventure Hunt aim to strike a fun balance between challenging puzzles, a fun outing with friends and family and a pleasant walk around outside.

Adventure Hunt is similar to escape rooms and scavenger hunts. Each puzzle uses items in plain sight. They might be murals, statues, buildings or landmarks. The questions are designed to make you think and pay attention, making for a fun group activity.
Our App helps you navigate between puzzles without simply asking you to follow a dot on a map. Hints can be used if you need assistance solving any of the puzzles. The App is available on both Android and iPhone.
In Puerto de la Cruz you can choose between two completely different routes. The standard route uses a variety of objects and locations for its puzzles and explores a larger area of the town. The street art Adventure Hunt is 100% focused on the street art and stays within the old town.
The main route takes in the old town filled with restaurants, murals and narrow streets, the main church plaza, the waterfront boardwalk and other pedestrian areas. Challenge yourself and have a great time with friends and family.
The activity location depends on the route option that is purchased. Please pay attention to the ticket redemption instructions which will define the start point for your activity.

Overall a good way to explore Puerto de la Cruz for someone who has never been there. I would allow at least 3-4 hours to allow enough time to stop for drinks along the way. Guide on app could have given a bit more historical detail of interest points and maybe clues to some of the puzzles. Audio option would have been good so we could hear instructions rather than read small writing on screen. A great format for generally exploring new towns and cities.
Great way to spend a morning. Took us around the old part of town, away from the main tourist areas. This is not a tour as it doesn’t tell you about the area but does encourage you to take different routes. My husband & I enjoyed it

Saw places we would otherwise have missed.
Had great fun finding and solving the clues and spotted some interesting looking places to go back and visit later.

Me and my 7 year old daughter have just completed this adventure hunt around Puerto de la Cruz and had such a lovely time! It was so much fun and such a brilliant way to explore this beautiful place.
The hunt took us a good few hours, with plenty of stops along the way for food and drinks, which made for a really enjoyable evening out. Everything was well thought out and kept us engaged throughout.
I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. A huge thank you to the creators 💜

I’d done one in Portugal so was really pleased to find one here, too. Spent a happy couple of hours wandering with a friend and solving clues; some were relatively easy, others required hints (thanks for those). Encouraged me to see areas I might have missed and spot places I’d like to revisit later all whilst getting much needed exercise!

We really enjoyed the Adventure Hunt. It was not too long, and with the option to interrupt it at any time, we could also take advantage of the many opportunities for a drink or tapas at the next bar. Even for us, who have been to Puerto several times, there was still something new to discover on this tour, especially small details that one usually does not notice. The puzzles were varied and had a pleasant level of difficulty, neither too easy nor frustratingly hard.
For each puzzle, there is the option to report changes or issues. Just a few hours after such a report, we received a response. Such a response time is rare.
All in all, it was an entertaining little tour through Puerto that is worth the money.

We really enjoyed this activity. We are a family of 4, my husband, my two young children and I, and we enjoyed today very much. It was super interesting and well done. In addition, we have learned cultural things that we did not know, and we have discovered wonderful places to eat. The only point we give is that it would be better if the arrows that indicate the path in some images make them with better design arrows, but the rest has been wonderful. We have to do the next one that is street art. Thank you.

For the price we got to know the city from another side that we probably wouldn't have seen otherwise. It was fun. Some puzzles were a bit monotonous, but easily solved. We highly recommend the tour. Thank you so much!
