This was exactly what we were looking for. An overview of special places on Gran Canaria that are not over run with other visitors. Also insights from a local about customs, holidays, special food and drink. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day with a new friend.

Our family of 4 loved this tour! It was our favorite day during our week in Gran Canaria. Our tour guide, Naty, is a Gran Canaria local who is well versed on the islands' history. Naty is inquisitive and adaptable, we changed the trajectory of our day based on feedback from our family and catered to our preferences. The day was full of beautiful views, yummy snacks, and plenty of picture-worthy sites. For us, we felt more like travelers, or locals, rather than tourists. This day was far superior to anything we could have researched on our own. If you are someone who is wanting to see multiple sites of the island including the calderas, mountains, rainforests, etc, we would highly recommend. In addition to the tour itself, Naty was kind enough to help us plan the remainder of our trip. He recommended a 5-hour itinerary that was perfect for our remaining day. Overall, he went above and beyond what was expected.

There are surprisingly few private tour options in Grand Canaria - so getting one in itself is a victory. You can go places and see things that even the smaller group busses cannot. But far more than that, Naty is a (well traveled) local boy who understandably loves his beautiful island. He speaks to every stop with insight and heartfelt care, working diligently to customize the tour to the subtle cues of his guests. I’ve taken my family on numerous private tours, but this had to be our favorite. You will be amazed as the different micro-climates change in just a short drive. However, you will be even more impressed with your guide. I could not recommend this company more!

We had such a great tourguide( Nate ) Nathaniel . He was knowledgeable and paced the private tour well We saw a lot of views and vistas as well as indulging in a little of the cultural drinks and coffees We had a wonderful time and squeezed in a lot of sights despite being on a tight schedule because this was a cruise stop Nate made sure we saw a lot but were on time for our departure

This private car tour was phenomenal, well worth the money. Naty was knowledgeable about the island and took us to some places the bus tours can't get to because of the narrow roads. We would definitely do this again with Naty as he will tailor the tour for what you want to see!

Booked last minute as a treat to myself - so glad I did as got to see parts of the island that you don't get to see with the commercial bus tours. It was also so nice to not be made to feel like you had to buy anything either from "artisans". Naty was professional, his ride was comfortable and we packed so much into the day. The beauty of having a private tour is it can be completely tailored to you. very informative and thorough tour guide, Local (not many are in Gran Canaria), friendly, passionate about history and community, accomodating... with this tour guide, he offers great tour unlike the many mass-commercial ones. If you want Quality, this is it! Loved his tour: cave tours, mountain peaks, volcanoes, little organic village, bit of architecture, sand dunes - absolutely call him again, when we are back. (with any tour from the island, choose clear/dry, or sunny tours)

Naty is so nice and friendly! He has an outstanding knowledge of the history of Canaries as well as a natural gift of describing and showing the hidden beauty and gems of Gran Canaria. We traveled off-road, away from other tourists, to fully indulge in the amazing nature of the island. We had time to taste local cuisine and do some shopping of local products. Despite some clouds Naty was able to adjust our trip to show us the most stunning views and picturesque towns. I recommend the trip with Naty with all my heart!

Definitely do this! The guide is awesome and is a local who knows all the secrets of the island. We thoroughly enjoyed it both the locations, education, and company.

We really enjoyed our tour with @Grancaexperience, Naty was very friendly and knowledgeable about his island. He picked us up on the day from our hotel and because the weather in the north of the island wasn't great, we went to south to the Maspalomas dunes, on to the Fataga and then to the highest point on the island Pico de Las Nieves to see the fantastic views. We went on to Teror for a wander through the town, followed by a trip to the Pico De Bandama. It was a wonderful day, so much so that we booked Naty to take us to the Valle de Agaete and the north of the island including a walk around the old town of Las Palmos on the another day. We would thoroughly recommend him, we saw so much during the tours (too much to list) and learnt a lot about the island. He takes many photographs with his own camera, which he makes available for us to download. Thank you Naty.

We immediately felt at ease with our knowledgeable and friendly guide Natty. He planned a wonderful day for us which included visiting a winery and coffee plantation, the beautiful town of Arucas and its botanic gardens. We just returned from an absolutely amazing tour with GrancaExperience. Naty, our guide, was simply outstanding, taking care of us with so much heart and dedication. We were two adults and two small children (2 and 4 years old). Besides being the driver, tour guide, and photographer, he was also like a babysitter, lovingly taking care of our children so that we could relax and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and experiences. The entire day was perfectly organized, and we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Naty so much that we booked him for another tour two days later to see the rest of the island. Not only is he super friendly and kindhearted, but he is so knowledgable about the island. We felt we were in great hands with him as our guide, giving us the detailed history and information about the many sites we saw. He took us to so many special places and gems that we wouldn't have been able to discover on our own. We loved the pictures he also took and sent to us. At the end of the tours, we felt like we made a friend. It's a must-recommend!

We came to the Canary Islands a few days in advance of our cruise. With Naty's help, we fell in love Gran Canaria! It was a pleasure to spend time with an island native who is passionate about his home and loves to show it off. We toured with Naty on two separate days. His tours were imaginative, flexible, and highly personalized to our tastes. From dunes to mountaintops, vineyards to cliffside cave restaurants, he took us to places which only a local would know. What a great day! We booked Naty, as we didn't get the rental car as we wanted, and we didn't regret it. He picked us up at the hotel, and after that the experiences came in a row. We were three generations on tour, from 12 to 85 years old, and everyone had a nice trip. We saw a lot we hadn't otherwise seen, and the twelve-year-old even made it to Primark, Zara and Sephora in Las Palmas. She was delighted, and so were we. I would highly recommend Naty and we will book him again at the next opportunity. He was so knowledgeable, courteous and service minded. We'll be back!

Our driver and guide, Naty, was really outstanding. He is an excellent driver and his vehicle held the 4 of us and our luggage quite well. Our tour had to be cut short due to our flight departure time. We would have greatly enjoyed a full day tour.

This was an excellent day out, I’d highly recommend it. Our guide, Naty, was friendly and knowledgeable - there was a lot about Gran Canaria that we learnt that otherwise we wouldn’t have known. The day trip was a highlight for our holiday, to see the views and visit some of the locations we wouldn’t have been able to find ourselves. We really appreciated the family photos that Naty sent on after the trip, too.

Naty was so knowledgeable about the island and its people. He was completely flexible in following a route that allowed us to see almost all parts of the Gran Canaria. Well timed stops for snacks and lunch were great. Pick up and delivery were flawless and Naty was vary accommodating after we left something in the car and he had to come back to deliver it. A 5 star performance!!

Relaxing and very local in terms of new places seen and food eaten. The towns were gorgeous and the local culture was definitely felt throughout. Naty was very knowledgeable and kind and easy to engage with throughout the trip. Highly recommend if you want to get out of the tourist areas and see more real Gran Canaria life.

Naty was very knowledgeable and helpful. Our tour was restricted due to cloud in the mountains, which was a pity but not Naty's fault. Worth agreeing with him in advance what you are going to see. I found it a little frustrating trying to get him to tell us where we were going and he didn't consult us. Good tour however overall.

Do it, you won’t regret it! My husband and I were in Las Palmas for a few days for a meeting, and only had one day to tour the area. Naty was such a wonderful guide. He showed us a completely different side of the island according to our tastes and preferences. He was prompt and communicated very well via WhatsApp. He stopped at two different locations to pick us up as well as a colleague, and we were on our way. We saw beautiful landscapes, stopped at a winery/coffee plantation, and had some bites along the way. He told us a great deal of history and culture, and stopped at some beautiful towns and villages. Naty was so kind as to take multiple photos of us, which he sent us a few days later. His service was impeccable. He is just a very kind and genuine person. It felt as though a friend was showing us the sights. Such a wonderful experience. Thank you so much Naty!

Naty took us on a fabulous tour of Gran Canaria while we were on the island. He was very flexible with our tour and was happy to spend more time on the things that interested us the most. The part of the island with the caves in the canyon was particularly interesting and he was great about relating his personal experiences of growing up in Gran Canaria! Naty our guide took us to all the best locations. From the volcano to the beaches to a wonderful winery located up in the mountains it was impossible to pick a favorite. The scenery was incredible and it just kept getting better! This is one trip and tour not to be missed! It was the highlight of our trip and we will always have amazing memories!

Our tour started on time; Naty picked us up in our hotel and off we went in a nice, clean, air conditioned van. Immediately, we felt at ease since he is quite friendly and courteous, very professional and has a wealth of information. Initially we went to an old volcano near La Palma with incredible views, followed by a visit to Arucas, a small quaint, typical Canarían town with a famous church. We walked the streets and visited a small park and had coffee and pastry. We later went to Agaete Valley where we visited a vineyard/orchard with beautiful views and had a small private cheese and wine tasting. Finally we went to visit a beach with natural pools created by volcanic lava flows from the past. We finished back in our hotel, completely satisfied and well informed. We are glad we took the day and spent spent it with Naty. You can't go wrong. Gracias Naty !!!

Naty provided us with the perfect introduction to the Gran Canaria island, although a massive island, Naty was able to take us to several of the places of interest to see some of the amazing landscapes, villages, and wineries that the island has to offer. Conducted in a private vehicle, Naty was very personal and showed flexibility in the tour agenda to incorporate aspects that suited us as required. I would highly recommend this tour and would definitely go on another tour with Naty if the opportunity arose.

We only had two full days in Gran Canaria so we scheduled a tour with Naty to see as much of the island as possible and wow did he deliver! He was able to pack a lot in to 7 hours + but never made us feel like we were rushed. We enjoyed ourselves so much we regretted that we didn’t have more days to tour with him. Being a native resident of the area and having lived in other places, he gave us a perspective we don’t often experience. We are looking forward to returning to Gran Canaria and touring with Naty again in the not too distant future.
