The lesson was very good. We were described techniques and how to deal with waves. I just would not call the waves we tried as “beginner”, it was too scary for me. But our instructor helped all of us a lot, thank you for that! Overall I liked the experience, I was able to stand and catch the wave 🤙🏻

Best surf school in Tenerife without any doubt! From the moment you walk in, they warmly make you feel like home; the instructors are super knowledgeable and make the alumni always give their best, no matter which level they start from. I attended a group class which had a small number of participants (very appreciated detail) so every single one of us felt very looked after throughout the whole lesson. 100% recommended!

We had an amazing experience. From check-in to equipment to early instruction, it was absolutely perfect. Our instructor Jaime was very encouraging, quick with helpful corrections, and ultimately helped us catch a bunch of waves. I couldn’t recommend this experience more.

We had a wonderful morning with Jaime learning how to surf, his guidance and patience was phenomenal, explaining each step very clearly. Great surf school! It was my first time on a board and I felt very well instructed. The fact that the group consisted of only five students was also very positive, as the instructor had a good overview and was able to help everyone. Definitely recommended. I would book again anytime. :)

Jaime and David were WONDERFUL! We were a family of four and within an hour we were all up on our boards. Jaime was very knowledgeable, attentive, and worked extra hard to motivate us and get us UP ... I've caught the surfing bug now! I highly recommend this business and instructor.

I had the best time with Ocean Life Tenerife from start to finish! I booked online, and when the conditions weren’t great on the original date, they got in touch and rearranged for a better time—super professional. The others in the group didn’t turn up, but Jerzy still took me out solo. Man, he worked me hard! Such a positive, kind guy who really made sure I had the best experience. All the equipment is included, the changing facilities are clean, and you can securely leave your gear in the shop. Showers are available after too. Would definitely recommend!

This was such an amazing experience! Our instructor, who went by the nickname of Thor, was truly phenomenal. Before our lesson, he contacted us and coordinated the best time and location for our needs based on Tenerife’s ever-changing weather and our changing itinerary. Once at the surf lesson, he gave us wet suits, shirts, towels, a shower, a changing facility, and a locker to use. He showed us how to carry the surfboards and taught us safety tips as we walked to the beach. At the beach, we practiced in the sand before getting in the water. He prioritized our safety, and gave us specific feedback each time we tried so we could work on our skills and weak areas. Thor is a caring teacher who is truly passionate about his sport and his work. He was also respectful, kind, and encouraging! Plus, Thor shared fun stories and anecdotes along the lesson to keep us entertained and help us feel connected! I could not recommend this more. Hilight of our vacation.

My friend and I came here for a spontaneous last day of trip activity and it was 100% worth it! We surfed with Dimitri who was wonderful with us, very patient with complete beginners and clear explanations. We had a wonderful time, couldn't stop smiling. Even though I was not very good (my own fault totally) they were super supportive and lovely with helping me and I felt no shame when I had to sit aside from getting tired. It's cool to see how much they love surfing and how much they want others to join.

My wife and I took a two-hour lesson with Martin, instruction was fantastic. The group was very varied and Martin's instruction allowed for a lot of us to experience the first time fully up on a board. it was so good I came back two days later and hired a surfboard and caught waves myself again! Jamie the shop owner was so friendly and helpful. would whole heartily recommend surfing as an activity to do when in Tenerife and this would be the best place to do it.

I had a 2-hour private lesson at the surf school, which I really enjoyed. My instructor Juan was very nice and helpful, especially as I was nervous due to a prior experience, and I would definitely recommend him! I caught a good amount of waves considering it was quite a flat day (but good for a beginner!). The reasons for not rating 5-star are as below: - their location is 10 mins walk back from the beach, so there are many places closer/right on the beachside where you’d spend less lesson time walking back and forth - their shower was out of order which is annoying after being in the sea and changing out of the wetsuits - I was advised to arrive 10 minutes early to get into a wetsuit etc but instructor was ready at the start time so the extra few minutes I was just waiting

I have been attending Ocean Life Tenerife for a year and I could not be more satisfied! ​The instructors are simply fantastic: super prepared, patient, and always ready to give you the right advice in the water. The lessons are explained very well and followed in the smallest details, ideal for learning all the basics well, starting from the pop-up (how to get up on the board) and the right postures. Furthermore, the facility/shop is really well-kept, clean, and welcoming, with excellent quality equipment. ​If you want to learn how to surf in Tenerife while having fun in total safety, this is absolutely the right place. ​5 well-deserved stars!

Crazy experience, super recommended to anyone who wants to try surfing for the first time. The instructors are super, they make you feel immediately at ease and guide you step by step to be able to ride the wave. Fun guaranteed!!

We would like to thank Jurek / Thor for the excellent surf course. We booked the course as a family and it was so perfect! Great lessons. Starting with important theory which is incredibly valuable for practice, then good warm up on the beach and finally off to the board and have fun. Jurek is a fantastic, extremely motivating and helpful teacher who immediately gives tips on how to improve the technique to have success and thus fun. It was a wonderful day on and in the water and we will definitely come back! Even with fully booked classes we were offered a session for the early evening and we say thanks for the perfect service, for the perfect experience and for the great interpersonal conversations.
