Panoramic Segway Tour

Alex was a fantastic guide he was patient, informative and there was no rush a very relaxing and enjoyable experience would highly recommend him !!

On 21.08.2026 we had our first Segway Tour ever - and we could not have gotten a better instructor than Alex (Alejandro). Alex is very professional, patient and lots of fun. He tells nice and informative stories about local highlights during the tour. Thanks so much for sending us the pictures and the video of the tour. This was our first Segway tour and we were not disappointed. Our instructor Alex picked us up directly from our apartment and went directly to the spot where the tour starts. He was very patient explaining how the Segway functions and demonstrating how to drive it. During the tour, he was taking care that everyone was progressing well. For true beginners like us who have never driven a Segway, that was greatly appreciated and acknowledged. And the view, which was panoramic, was so beautiful...passing the pier, beach, park, boutiques, and a few historical sites. I highly recommend this tour as an excellent alternative to explore Maspalomas surroundings AND while acquiring new skills with the Segway. It was a truly enjoyable experience which we won't hesitate to do again. Thank you Alex.

Alex was a brilliant host for a private family Segway tour of Maspalomas with 2 adults and 2 children (10 and 14). It wasn't just a 90 minute tour of the area, he told us lots of information about the sights of Maspalomas along the way so we learned far more about the area than we would have done without him. The route he took us on covered a lot of ground so we really got to see a lot of the area, including areas we wouldn't have thought to explore on our own with some surprising and interesting historical facts on the area. The GoPro video and photos were a nice extra touch so we can relive the memories from our holiday. We can't recommend this tour enough - it's a must for anyone staying in Maspalomas.

Really fun & easy way to see the area. We had a great time zipping around on the Segways and enjoying Alex’s interesting & knowledgeable stories. Alex was a fantastic guide and the added bonus of the video and photos made a fab keepsake afterwards. The Segways are easy to get used to, you won’t regret taking this tour - Muchas gracias Alex!

Alex looked after us very well! We did a two hour tour with a short break halfway. We went off road, through parks, along promenades, to the lighthouse, we had a wonderful time. At the end he prepared a music video compilation of segments of our tour and we went home singing the background song! Thank you Alex 😊 🙏

A superb experience with Alex who was informative, fun and generous with his time. We explored many different areas in the resort and felt like this was worth every penny. Especially as a few days later we received wonderful photos and a brilliantly edited video for us to remember this excellent adventure.

The Segway tour was fabulous! Alex our guide was great and also gave us some interesting info about the local area too. All three of us (including our 13 year old niece) had great fun. We went on roads, pathways, the beachfront promenade and we also did a little off-roading. It’s amazing how much ground you can cover on a Segway, so we saw a lot of the Maspalomas area during our trip which would take so much longer on foot. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone and doing this against the backdrop of Maspalomas on a beautiful sunny afternoon was marvellous. We took the trip at 5pm on a weekday. Perfect time of day.

Alex was wonderful and took three of us out, 2 adults and my niece, a 13 year old girl. We ALL absolutely LOVED it. It was such a fun trip and Alex gave us excellent guidance as well as lots of interesting info about the island. I will definitely book again and would not hesitate to recommend this trip to anyone! We went on roads, pavements, beach promenade and even a little bit of off-road as we have previously been on segways in the UK. To take this tour on a beautiful sunny afternoon was top class! What a fabulous tour. Alex our guide was very friendly, explained the Segway quickly and in a way that was easy to pick up and the. We went around the Maspalomas area. Alex even indulged us by speaking Spanish to allow us to learn. Well ‘Spanglish’ as he put it!! Really enjoyable and very well organised. A different way to see the area

This was the best tour! I would recommend! We phoned Alex and he picked us up from our hotel the next day! Alex is very patient and explained how to work the Segway, we got a wee practice run. He took us on a fantastic tour, beautiful views and was very knowledgeable - felt very safe and had the best time seeing maspalomas! Had a fantastic time on this Segway experience. Our guide Alex shared lots of information about the local area. We travelled alongside the beach, road, off road and even let us try out the local skatepark. The bonus is that you get a video and photo keepsake of this.

Excellent segway expierence which was led my Alex. We have done numerous segway rides in the past and always enjoy them, especially when abroad, as you can get out on public paths etc unlike at home in the UK. A fun way to see places and great to have a guide giving you information about the places you visted. Highly recommended.

Myself and the two kids gave this a try early evening for something different. It was one of the best things we did on holiday. Lots of fun and a good way to see around the resort and find out about the place. Alex, our guide, was great company and made the hour a lot of fun. Great value.

The tour guide Alex was excellent, showing us how to operate the Segway's and the tour was through some beautiful surroundings, Alex was patient and very informative of the local history. This was a great experience for all the family.

Great trip with Alex with our family of 3 teenagers 17,14,13. Very easy to use and def recommend going off road when offered. The whole trip was well worth the cost and the video and pictures included are amazing

We had a great time with Alex on the Segway! it was so much fun to explore the area via Segway and really easy going. Alex was filming and taking pictures in different places with nice views so we did not need to bother on that which was great! After the trip we received everything via email to download and we love it! We will come back for shure!

100% recommend this tour with Alex. We hadn’t been to this area before and seeing it on the Segway with Alex as a guide was great! There was only myself and my 14 year old daughter on the 6.30pm tour. We had used a Segway once before. After a short practice and full introduction we were off. We loved it and would highly recommend it. A lovely touch was receiving photos and a video of our tour the day after. We didn’t have to worry about taking photos along the way as Alex recorded all of it. A great souvenir. 👍🏼

Alex, after ensuring that we were no novices to Segway, fitted our safety helmets and off we went. The tour was excellent and we saw lovely parts of the coast, the dunes and the Maspalomas area. We had a variety of surfaces that we travelled on and even ventured off-road for a short while - which we loved. There was plenty of information during the tour and we stopped to get great photo opportunities. This is a wonderful way to get familiar with a part of Gran Canaria that we didn’t know very well. But, best of all, Alex shot a video of our tour and created a brilliant short film complete with music and transitions. I have no hesitation in recommending this trip 10/10!! It is excellent.

Alex gave us a great welcome and as soon as we passed our road worthy test (we have done Segway tours a number of times) we were off. This was an excellent Segway trip - seeing the coastline, the Dunes, some optional off-road venturing, hearing about the Canarian communities in the hills. What we really liked was that most of the tour was spent on cycle-lanes. It was safe and flat and there not too many tricky kerbs to negotiate. We travelled about 5 miles on our trip and thought it great value.

If you're considering it, I can 1000% recommend! The tour is the best memory of my trip and thanks to Alex I have some wonderful pictures to remember it by too The training is simple and easy to understand, you can get the hang of how to use the segway after just a few mins. On the tour, you learn a lot about Maspalomas and Gran Canaria in general. It was honestly such a thrilling experience!

It was our first time on a Segway we was nervous but really wanted to try it, we liked the confident instruction on how to safely use the segways and had a good practice around a safe zone before we set out, once we got going we soon settled into the experience and was amazed how fast we became confident surprised at how controllably they handled, the views where spectacular and the instructor took some good photos and video of our experience sent them to us so we keep the memories of an amazing day, we definitely be doing it again when we return to the island

Amazing trip with segway. Much fun to try this for the first time, Alex was very friendly and taught us how to use the segway in a safe way. He shared much useful information, as well as history of the local area. I can recommend this trip warmly!

Highly recommend this tour, its a great way of seeing the island and Alex is a great guide and the Segways are great fun. Photos and a video arrived in your inbox the next day so you can just sit back and enjoy the experience! We only wish we had done it earlier in our holiday rather than later because we saw areas of the island we wanted to revisit but only had a couple of days left.

What a fab & fun way to visit a new area, Alex picked us up from our hotel after a quick training session (we have done Segway’s before) we were off on our tour. Alex was very informative of the area, had some photo stops plus Alex makes a video too which he sends over. Alex also have us a tip of a mini golf course we hadn’t done yet & even showed us where it was so thank you & by the way I won :)

A great Segway tour. Alex and his nephew were really good guides, very knowledgeable and fun. We saw many areas of interest around Melonares and Masapolomas and we all really enjoyed it, I would recommend to all.

Alex was a great tour guide, he is friendly and knowledgeable. The route we took was beautiful and the photos he provides are excellent quality. All three of us really enjoyed it!

Hard to pick the one best bit! It was all great! Alex picked us up promptly at our hotel (and returned us afterwards), then after a detailed, but brief explanation, we were off! He is extremely knowledgeable about the area; geography, geology, history and gave us lots of information each time we stopped for a photo opportunity. We were out discovering the area of Maspalomas for at least an hour. I was slightly nervous, but needn't have been at all. We LOVED it!!

Fantastic tour We did the two hour tour. Alex was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw the best bits of Maspolomas. He even bought us a Starbucks at the end I highly recommend the tour. Great fun

This was a fantastic experience. Alex, our guide was attentive and informative from start to finish. As a mixed ability party of 8 people he made sure everyone could control the segways. His instructions were clear and he made this activity fun and informative. Most of the route was on paths and cycleways away from traffic, but we did have to go on roads a few times to get between traffic free routes. Segway is a brilliant way to see Meloneras and its surrounding area. Alex, our guide stopped at various intervals to take photos and give us information about the sites we were seeing. What a great experience!

Always wanted to try a Segway and it was a lot easier than I thought. Highly recommend this tour as you get an initial lesson in a safe environment by the shop before heading out. Alex leads you and points out highlights and films your trip so you can enjoy being on a Segway. Also to do it around Maspalomas in the sunshine was a real pleasure.

Awesome experience with a super guide! When we booked the tour, we did not expect much. But it turned out to be one of the best experiences in Gran Canaria. Alex showed us many beautiful places and at the same time we had lots of fun with riding segway. The entire tour we felt safe and cared for. My husband and I did this trip and could not recommend it enough. It was well organised, the chaps running it were very friendly and helpful and we had a great time. The chap who was leading us around filmed the trip and took photos for us and unlike other trips, all we had to do was provide our email addrress and everything was sent through at no additional cost. If you want to give segways a go, this is definitely the trip for you, best time ever and would love to do it again.
