Padi Advanced Diving Course In Gran Canaria

Completed my Advanced Diving Cert with the team at Blue Water. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Good comms before arrival which allowed me to complete the e-learning before and just concentrate on diving / practicals when I got there. Good equipment, dive boat & a professional training approach with a good dose of fun mixed in. The best team - from the owners through to the interns - all made it a memorable experience. Special shout out to my instructor Mati and of course Lily !

We took PADI Open water and Advanced Open water courses back-to-back in 4 consecutive days – and the only way to describe the experience was – unbelievably great! The staff and our Instructor Eileen are extremely friendly and competent. The smiles never got away from our faces. The diving sites were great, the equipment provided was absolutely superb and individually adjusted. The training (intensive enough) was custom tailored to our skills and desire to go further, we practiced everything required by the rule book and then some (because we wanted to), to the point that we felt confident enough to really see the beauty of the underwater world. Eileen took our rudimentary skills and turned us into divers who feel comfortable and calm under water. We managed to relax and truly enjoyed the nature and the underwater wrecks of the diving sites. The only thing we didn’t like was that we couldn’t spend more time with those fantastic people (but that is hardly their fault 😉). We are definitely coming back next year – and this time we will reserve the whole week for diving with Blue Water Diving – it is well worth it!

I leave Gran Canaria tomorrow and wish to say how wonderful a holiday I have had, everyone at the dive centre have contributed to the awesome time I have had, you have made my time here second to none! Kate and Chris are so beautiful as are all their instructors. I am truly grateful and so so pleased that I chose Blue Eater Diving centre, the best ❤️ see you all next year, I’m already counting down the days xx

Just completed my dive master qualification along with Rescue and first aid with Blue Water diving, I have to say it was a real pleasure to complete with Kate and Chris and the rest of the team The quality of instruction is spot on, not missing anything yet still making it an enjoyable experience and also managing to teach in a way that suits the individual explaining everything in a way that is easily understood I would recommend anyone who wants to either start diving or progress further to look them up if travelling to the Canaries

What an amazing experience, Chris and Kate are awesome divers who know thier stuff. I learnt how to stay neutraly buoyant and it has changed my diving experience to be much more enjoyable and comfortable. My husband did his open water while I did my advanced, which we didn't know was possible but they were very accommodating and flexible. We saw loads of fish, angel shark, sting ray, cuttle fish, octipus and 2 wrecks. I highly recommend them and can't wait to come back!!!

I was coming to blue water diving for my AOWD. After doing the theory at home (well organized from Kate, thank you here) I arrived at the center and Chris already planned the first day and during the ride to the boat we made a plan for the next dives. We had a perfect navigation dive with a special guest in it (an angel shark) and at the Deep Dive I got explained all I need to know. We were always on the safe side, had enough air and I knew it will be a safe dive. Everyone was really interested in what I want to learn. So we planned to do a night dive. But as the weather got bad and I had to leave, we changed the plan again and did a wonderful search and recovery dive. On my AOWD dives I was always alone and that was pretty cool. Overall it was an amazing stay, I learned a lot but also had a lot of fun during the dives. Many thanks to Kate, Chris, Kevin and Adam for amazing days and dives.

My girlfriend and I made our AOWD with this super diving school. We were very happy with everything, the equipment, the instructors, the friendliness. The operation in the diving school makes at first a little bit the impression that everything is a bit disorderly, but this is only the impression from the outside. When you are equipped everything runs smoothly and well organized. We were lucky to have Danny as our instructor, a great guy! Very experienced, patient and very well skilled. During the briefings before diving we were very well instructed, could ask all questions and always felt very well prepared. The dive spots were close, partly reachable by car and partly by boat. The dive center has its own boat, which makes the process very easy. We saw a lot of fish especially at the dive spots that were accessible by boat. We were at two wrecks, which was very interesting. All in all we would definitely go diving with Blue Water Diving again! Thank you very much for your help, your patience and everything else that you never see as a customer, but which is incredibly important for the great experience we had!

I had an amazing and fun time doing my advanced padi with Kate and Dani, they made it so enjoyable, relaxing fun and safe! Good thing to know as well they have their own boat so that´s a pro for a Diving Center and their recommendations were super helpful at all time.

This is our third visit to Blue water Diving and every time we have been there Kate and Chris have looked after us extremely well They are very proffessional with each discipline and ensure that safety is paramount in all that they do. They make the experience so good and even Chris's jokes are not too bad. Looking forward to our next visit Thank you both and all the staff there for a great time If you like to dive or want to dive then these guys are the ones to meet.

Did my Advanced PADI with Blue Water Diving. A great experience with some very knowledgable and skilled instructors. Saw loads of wildlife and scenery whilst advancing my dive skills, even an unexpected detour when we sighted some dolphins!! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of diving in Gran Canaria!!!

I did five days of diving with Chris, Kate and the team and had a fantastic time! It was a mix of PADI specialty courses (Wreck, Underwater Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy) and a few fun dives. Everything was really well organized, with the schedule, pickups, equipment, etc. The dives were beautiful, I saw wrecks, angel sharks, quite a few stingrays and plenty of different species of fish. I did the courses with Chris – he is a very knowledgeable instructor that I felt very safe with. That was additionally enhanced by the 1-on-1 course approach and I really felt like my underwater learning time was maximized as with no other students I had all of the instructor’s attention. Also, during the fun dives there were always divemaster students and soon-to-be instructors, so plenty of people to help out if needed. And they are such lovely people, genuinely warm and welcoming. Everyone was so nice, not only Chris and Kate, but also all the others that I interacted with at the diving school. A very fun atmosphere too, Chris kept making me laugh the whole time. It’s good that you can’t talk underwater, otherwise I’d be cracking up all the time! I would recommend these guys 100%. I hope I come back one day for some more diving together :)

My partner and I did our Open Water upgrade and Advanced Open Water course at Blue Water and it was fantastic. It was just the two of us as students and our instructor Gonzo was very helpful and encouraging, generally a great guy and made us feel comfortable and confident in our diving. We did another couple of fun dives after qualifying with Kevin and Norbert who were both great fun! Everyone at the shop is very friendly and welcoming. 100% would recommend this centre - Kate and Chris are running a great operation on the island. Great bonus is that they picked us up and dropped us back every day!

Blue Water Diving offers a wide variety of diving experiences with lovely and extremely professional instructors. I'll never regret doing my Advanced Open Water Course with Kate and Chris. I completed my open water and advanced open water course with Blue Water Diving over the course of 5 days. It was a great and professional experience. I was instructed by Noah, a newly qualified but very good instructor, Jery who had years of experience and lots of passion, and Chris, who was also very experienced and also clearly loved diving. I felt safe and comfortable at all times. I did my deep, drift, wreck, peak performance buoyancy and navigation specialities for my advanced. Everyone was great including all of the interns who helped with kit and as extra eyes in the water. Will definitely be back!! Thank you, everyone

I did my 2 day advanced open water diver course with Blue Water and strongly recommend them. Jerry is a very passionated and enthusiastic dive instructor and that makes it a comfortable experience.

My sister and I were 2 dives off out open water certification but were unable to complete it. We contacted Blue Water to see if they could accommodate us and they answered very quickly, booking us in for our final 2 dives and then straight in to our open water advanced. Gery was super, going over the basic skills again (it had been 8 months), but wasn't patronising at all, just treated it as a refresher. Went on to do our choices for the open water advanced, wreck, night and ppb. Ppb is extra helpful, could control my buoyancy so much better having the chance to make sure I was properly waited and had the tank in the best position for me. Wreck dive was amazing and the night dive was unbelievable (appreciate you sacrificing the Barcelona match!). The deep dive was absolutely breathtaking and the navigation led to experiencing sand eels. Every dive showed us something different and something special. The lads doing their internship added something special, they are awesome people! The best thing about the crew is they were still so excited about diving, being genuinely thrilled at seeing a hermit crab and not taking anything for granted, not complacent about the dives, each was as amazing for them as they were for us. Thank you for everything, can't wait to experience more dives now we are qualified and we'll be back, buoyancy perfected, for dive 50!

Would like to say a massive thank you to the team at Blue Water diving . The experience we had with these guys was superb. From Booking our diving with Kate to the final good byes they were very professional and great fun for myself and for my better half . My boyfriend and I just finished 4 days of diving with Blue Water Diving - 8 day dives and 2 night dives. We had a phenomenal experience with the entire team - from the owners to the interns. My instructor for the Advanced Open Water course was knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly, helped me develop tremendously as a diver. Our communication with Kate and Chris prior to arriving was extremely prompt and professional, and they worked with us to help create a personalized diving trip that included everything that we asked for. There are many dive centers to choose from in Gran Canaria, and we are so happy that we went with Blue Water Diving.

We wanted to do the advanced diving course and were looking for places on the island. Kate answered us very quickly and offered us a very good price and the guarantee of being able to return to port/shore between dives (because of a medical problem I have to go to the bathroom just diving, it has always happened to me). Although most of the staff are English and speak little Spanish, Dani, who was our instructor, is Cordoba by birth and handles the Spanish-speaking part. The treatment was excellent, the dives were some as planned (others not, because of the strong current there was, but that is life) and the Mood was all the time great. I recommend whether you stay in the south of the island (they take you and bring you) or, like us, you leave by car from LPGC.

My partner and I have done the AOWD course at this center and it has been all perfect. Our instructor Dani very nice and professional. We have laughed a lot, learned and improved and always safely. We have been treated phenomenally, I recommend it definitely.
