The most incredible experience. Lola is extremely friendly, hospitable and excited to share her beautiful island with visitors. She gave us really interesting histories of the island but also lots of banter and good fun. The stops we made were beautiful, the food she recommended was excellent. We spent a small fortune on gorgeous artisan goods as she's a huge supporter of local businesses. Genuinely cannot recommend Lola enough. The best way to spend a day. Thank you so much Lola. Wow! What an amazing trip. Highly recommend. We visited Haria, Arrieta, Los Charcones, Mirador del Rio, punta mujeres, the red house, wine and cheese/sayce/jam tasting. A really personalised tour with lunch included. Lola is such an amazing host and knows so much about the island where she was born. The trip was a bit more expensive than other options but was a small group. So much better than a coach tour.

Wanted to see the northern part of the island and off the beaten path, so Lola listened for my wishes and then planned an absolutely perfect day for me and my husband touring the north with her.❤️ First we went to Teguise for morning coffee and pastry (Matula's), so good!👌🏽 Then we drove to las nieves, but the clouds were so low that visibility was close to zero, but it was a fun experince walking in a cloud though.😆 Next was Haría and the artesan house, a little walk around the town center and a couple of shops, followed by yummy lunch just outside of Haría, in Casa Arcadia (really beautifull views and soooo good local food).😘🤌🏽 We also visited a wine and jam shop in Ye and bought some Yaiza to take home. The gem of trip for me was when we stopped road side to admire views that were even better than Mirador del Rio.🤩 Last, but not least we saw tubo volcan, playa del caleton and punta mujeres, which all were amazing and beautifull.❤️❤️ Can't recommend Lola enough, this was our second tour with her, and she is just the funniest, friendliest guide, who knows and loves her island with hearfellt enthusiasm.🥰 If and when we come back to Lanzarote, we will definitely book her again!💯

I’ve been coming to Lanzarote for over 25 years and this is without doubt the best excursion I’ve ever done! Lola is so friendly and puts you totally at ease straight away. Her knowledge of Lanzarote is second to none and she managed to take me to places I hadn’t been despite thinking I knew the island well. Lunch was delicious in a restaurant chosen by Lola overlooking the beach and the visit to the bodega led me to need to buy extra baggage for going home… I can’t recommend Lola enough: everyone should go on a trip with her and experience the real Lanzarote. I am already looking to do another at new year when I’m back.

We had the best day with Lola! Lola is a free spirit whose passion and knowledge about Lanzarote is infectious. My daughter particularly loved talking to Lola and learned so much from her including having the freedom to strip down to her swimwear and run into the sea whilst we were waiting for our delicious brunch. Lola had to think on her feet to adapt our tour to the extreme heat we had but she still gave us a day we will remember always especially how she she helped us celebrate our daughter’s birthday and arranged a cake for her! Lola is the most kindness person ever! We had the best tour with her in July, it was the highlight of the holiday. We had some wine and tapas during the tour which was fantastic! I can’t thank Lola enough for the tour, our daughter loved it also! Hoping to do another next year when we come back! It was pure class, thank you Lola!

My family had an amazing day with Lola visiting Teguise, Arrieta, Haria and lots of other fantastic places. We visited the artisan market, tasted wines, jams, enjoyed our first tapas lunch and saw local crafts people. We have visited Lanzarote a few times before but wanted to explore the north of the island but not the usual tourist attractions. This was our first ever tour with a local guide so we were a little apprehensive spending the day with a stranger but we need not have worried. Lola is warm, friendly, informative and good fun; even when spending a long time with two grumpy’ teenagers. She finished the day off with a lovely surprise and sent us videos and photos she had taken during the day. If you are thinking of booking a tour with Lola, don’t hesitate. Wow what an amazing day spent with one of the craziest, kindest and funniest people I've had the pleasure to meet, Lola. If you want to see the amazing scenery the North of Lanzarote has to offer then I highly recommend going with Lola. The passion and knowledge she has for the island is 2nd to non. We are back in a few months and we will definitely be booking another excursion with Lola.

We did the north tour with Lola as a group of 7. The mini van was super comfortable with lots of space. We loved the scenary and views. We tasted beautiful wines, cheeses and jams and had an amazing fish based lunch. Punta Mujeres and Arrieta were so pretty and we finished with a swim in Caleton Blanco which was stunning. Lola made this so enjoyable and entertaining. Only us plus a single girl in the car. Felt as if we were having a day out with friends. Strongly recommend, so much more personal than a coach tour.

Lola is amazing! She showed us the real Lanzarote (away from tourist traps and coach tours) with the craters, bodegas, cafes, markets, lava pools, beaches as well as her own little gems supporting genuine local businesses in each case. The passion she shows for her home island is endless. We had two tours with her and Lola went above and beyond to taylor each tour to our own taste. Simply fantastic - thank you.

lola was so friendly and caring and wanted to show us as much as she could in the time we had. Her knowledge of Lanzarote was vast and everyone we met knew and loved Lola. With disabled Mum in our family group needing help she managed to get close to centre of villages and found high kerbs to make it easier for us to get Mum on and off and in and out of wheelchair. The rural winery we visited had steps into shop / tasting area so she positioned minibus across entrance so Mum could share the experience. Our family will always remember our day with Lola and will book her again when we come back to lovely Lanzarote. Thank you. The only way to see Lanzarote! I came to the island last minute on my own with no plan, no car and not a word of Spanish. I was worried that I will have to join the large tour buses that go to oversubscribed sites but I was so lucky to have found Lola!! After one day with Lola I feel like a local. She introduced me to everything this wonderful island has to offer with a personal charm and warmth that you won’t get anywhere else. The North holds true natural wonders such as Famara surfing beaches, the views to La Grasciosa and natural lava pools in Punta Majeres that remain completely untouched by mass tourism. Our quick cafe stop at Teguise was lovely and she really took the time to get to know me and what I’d like to do/see. The whole trip was personalised and never felt rushed! We had brunch at a popular local restaurant right on the beach in Arrieta. It was delicious with plenty of traditional Canarian dishes. Lola is a fantastic story-teller and has a great sense of humour - even the little street corners, houses, animals, locals we came across had interesting stories behind them. She made the whole tour so much more fun and enjoyable. She’s also very knowledgeable about the cultures and history of the Canaries, knowing exactly the cafes and restaurants that are preferred by the local community. It is evident that she is very much loved by everybody across town as everyone stopped to say hello - it felt like I was at the regulars table at the restaurants! Thank you for showing me this beautiful island through your eyes 🫶 I cannot recommend her tour enough.

My partner and I went on the grand tour with Lola yesterday, and both really enjoyed ourselves. Service from Lola was brilliant from the start, she was responsive to our questions on WhatsApp and extremely friendly. Lola picked us up from our cruise terminal and was a pleasure to chat to, and very funny. We went to some stunning spots around Lanzarate and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch - she did not disappoint. We went on the tour to see the volcano and then Famara beach. Lola is an amazing tour guide. She has so much knowledge of the history of Lanzarote. She is such a fun person to spend your day with. After the volcano we visited the village of Tenezar and then brunched at Famara. After brunch we visited Famara beach. Lola’s kind and caring personality made our tour amazing. We strongly recommend a tour with Lola who very quickly becomes your good friend

Lola was an instant hit with my family - such a fun & bubbly lady! We all loved the fact she took us off the standard tour & allowed us to explore other areas of this beautiful island. My daughter was thrilled to see & hear of the Island’s baby flamingos, feed the donkeys at the eco village & enjoy some play there. I loved the Bodega stop - sampling local goat cheese with jams & wines. A tour like this is really the best way to see the island & appreciate everything it has to offer from a resident guide. After our tour Lola took the time to compile a short video of our day -such a lovely memory to keep ❤️

This is a must do trip. From start to finish lola was a breath of fresh air, so enthusiastic.. She was born to do this job. We did the north tour which had the most spectacular views.. We stopped for an amazing authentic Spanish lunch followed by a swim.. Thanks lola for a fabulous day.

Well what can I say! Just returned from this tour myself husband and my sister. Just the three of us and what a day we have had! All I can say is we have had the most fantastic day trip! Lola tailored this tour to fit our needs. My husband has mobility issues not good at walking long distance and Lola was excellent adjusted things to suit him perfectly! We went to places and saw things you would never see on a “normal” coach tour. I would never go on another coach tour I just love these personal tours. Lola is brilliant it is not the first tour we have done with her and hopefully won’t be the last! She took us to a fantastic place for tapas somewhere as a tourist you would never go to! The food was amazing and the people we met were lovely. We went to a bar called Smokehouse if you are ever in the area to visit it you have to! Looks nothing from the outside doesn’t even look like a bar! But when you go inside well amazing! Well worth a visit! We just kept visiting places you would never normally get to see as a tourist! We have been coming to Lanzarote for years and I have been to places today and seen things I have never seen before. It has been an amazing day. Well worth it. My advice book it you won’t be disappointed!

If I could give more stars than 5 I would. Lola as a tour guide is amazing, so much attention to detail and thoughtfulness in where she took us. We couldn't ask for more. We were lucky to have her to ourselves for the day. We feel we started with a tour guide and left with a friend. Amazing day we will never forget. THANK YOU LOLA

Wow, where do I begin. What and experience, if you are thinking of exploring Lanzarote then look no further than Lola’s excursions. From the very start of the day it was clear that Lola is a very charming and warm host that was going to do her upmost to ensure that we had a great day, and what a day!!! I am writing this review the day after our trip and if I am honest my mind is still blown by the spectacular beauty of the island. Lola’s knowledge, enthusiasm, passion and love for the island was outstanding, very informative and inspiring. The trip far exceeded our expectations as we had only asked to visit mirador del ray and Jameos de aqua but we also visited places that you simply will not see on a bus tour, artisan workshops full of very talented and warm local people. A highlight was visiting the home of Cesar Manrique, this man was a visionary and a genius - as you will discover as your tour unfolds. We also visited Teguise, Lava pools, The Dolls House, and a number of stunning small towns, As I noted above, if you are looking for a fantastic day of exploration that will take you to places that other tours simply will not go, then I urge you to contact Lola, because she provided us with an experience that we will remember forever. And…..on top of all the above Lola went the extra mile to take loads of great photos and videos of our trip and sent them to us later the same day. We cannot recommend this tour highly enough. What an amazing day out. Not only was the island very scenic and beautiful, but our amazing tour guide, Lola, made the day fun and interesting. Her knowledge is extensive, but she has the ability to share with such ease, that you feel you have known her for ever! Lola was an amazing host and the tour was fantastic in every way and worth every penny! I am so glad we picked her! She had us laughing loads with her wonderful sense of humour. From start to finish she listened to us, picked up on our likes and dislikes and adjusted the tour to our wants and needs. I would highly recommend her and will be using her again when I return! If you are looking for a trip looking to get you into the most wonderful natural spots in the north of the island then this is for you! Lola took loads of photos, put them together into a fab video, had sarongs to put round our shoulders, had cold water, took us to a wonderful coffee and pastry shop en route…she thought of it all. Lola took us to the known and lesser known spots in lanzo... she was very knowledgeable and funny. Booking was simple. Picked us up and apartment bang in time. Dropped us back too.Supplied water throughout and we enjoyed a great lunch of tapas with lots of laugh. Highly recommended.

We did this tour and also the southern tour at Lola. There were only two of us on both tours. We had a great, informative and entertaining day! Despite the fact that the weather was not so good, she made the most of it. We saw great places and learned a lot about the island. She showed us places that were not included in the standard tours of the larger tour groups. So beautiful photos and memories were created. We can only recommend this tour:)

Lola has been a guide to 10! He has shown us those corners of the island where no tourist company arrives. She has been super close with us and made us feel at home, like a friend showed you her island! We have been able to appreciate the life of the islanders themselves: the small shops there are, secret places only known by locals, and the day to day in these Canary Islands. It has been a real immersion in the rabbit culture and its people, which on other tours we had not been able to achieve. Get away from the typical tourist spots to show you the heart of the island and its true essence. It has certainly been one of Top-rated moments of the trip!
