Itinerary
This is for North pick ups only.
A short stop in one of the highest villages in Europe. South pick ups only.
Take a lovely walk around the famous rock formations with great views of Mount Teide Volcano and the National Park. Overlooking the basin where the land sunk below the cone of Teide during the eruption. On occasions we may stop at the zapato de la reina rock formation.
See the Chiñero volcano lava fields (the most recent of the eruptions here in Tenerife 1906)
Stop off in Icod de los Vinos to take a look at the old dragon tree 3000 years old. ( the old folks tale is if the tree is cut it will bleed.) The village of Icod is rustic with the typical church and plaza.
Spend some time here in possibly the most beautiful villages in Tenerife. I tiny hamlet hidden in the folds of western Tenerife. A community of people who wanted to be hidden from the rest of the island. Amazing views of a gorge leading down to Los Gigantes. MASCA HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST DUE TO FIRE RISKS.
Garachico being the original first port in Tenerife until destroyed in 1706 by the volcano erupting. Having time to take a stroll through the town center or take a seat in the plaza under the trees and enjoy the scenery.

Our tour guide was great, very informative, answered all questions and even had time to have some fun. The driver was excellent, made us feel very safe on the windy mountain roads. We took a 1 year old and it was potentially too much for him due to the altitude, but the tour itself is a must!
An absolutely amazing excursion. Guide and driver were terrific.
Fantastic experience from booking to the trip back to the hotel. The guide Ivan was very knowledgeable and gave time to explain and answer questions. Xavi was a very experienced driver navigating through some difficult roads. The national park is such an amazing place, you feel you are on a different planet.
Really great day which was packed with experiences and information. Meetup exactly as described and timings were very clear, everything ran very smoothly. We visited sites including the area near the volcano, town with the ancient tree, a historic town on the coast, Masca valley. All were fascinating and interesting in their own way. The tour guide did an incredible job of explaining everything in Spanish, English and German. The driver did an incredible flawless job of driving through the mountain roads. We had a very enjoyable day and would highly recommend. Many thanks!
The trip is a must do if you've never seen the island. We oooed and awed the whole way. Absolutely breathtaking. However we were highly disappointed when our tour guide made it out to be we had one choice for lunch. A drink, soup or salad, Entree and desert for 20 euros. DO NOT eat at Carmen's. We were forced into a corner when they said every other table was reserved. There were no options on drinks. House white, red or beer which was very low grade. We each got something different, every plate was over cooked and no flavor. We got charged extra because we shared plates. Our tour guides got to eat on balcony with plates of food that weren't on the menus we were given to choose from and when we paid the wait staff tried to walk away with our change stating he couldn't find us, when he walked right by us. Once we got on the bus, everyone had the same complaints. WALK PAST that restaurant, go to top of steps to see the Dragon Tree and try the little out door café. Every plate we saw looked amazing and at least you can choose what you want. It would have been a perfect excursion if we wouldn't have been led to believe we had one option for lunch.
Great journey, guide was funny, interactive..overall an amazing day. I wish we had more time at the place to really enjoy. Felt a bit rushed. But i suppose thats the issue fitting in multiple things in a day. We went out to see the dragon tree - took extra 2 hours, which could have been utilised to have lunch at a nicer place
Got to see one of the best places in Tenerife just in 1 day! From Teide to the beautiful Garachico and the jaw-dropping Masca. The guide Pedro (i hope that was the name) was great, heads up to him for speaking in 2 different languages! Very hard job. I have to say the driver Alex was excellent at his job, I felt very safe driving with him, especially in Masca. Thank you for the amazing experience.
It was an unforgettable trip for Mt.Teide and Masca.Thank you to the guide and the driver.
We did not see the Los Roques de Garcie ar the Teide National park. We stopped at a layby on the way up to Teide National Park, which was a level area surrounded by hills with the area on the other side of the road stating no trespassers! It was just a boring 30 min stop. Lunch was very poor. It was the prescribed restaurant as part of the Altantic tour. It was a 3 course meal. They couldn't wait to get the starter plates back as they had another coach load coming. The chicken was pink and was not eaten because it looked undercooked. My wife's ice cream was presented still within the small carten of Nordika ice cream, same as gets handed out free at our hote. We complained to the manager and to the coach guide. They gave us a free coffee, but the overall experience was terrible. Lunch price not included in cost, so best to just pick your own restaurant. The remainder of the bus trip was good, but spoiled by the above. Would not go again.
The tour guide was very good. A lot of time on a coach.
Long day but worth it masca was beautiful and the drive along the super small cliff mountain roads scarily exciting, learning a bit about all the volcanos was done in a brief and interesting way.
Day trip to Masca, Teide, Garachico, Dragon tree and good food in the end..
Excellent guide, knowledgeable and nice , professional , very good driver , should choose another restaurant for lunch
Pablo was very informative and José the driver was absolutely brilliant when it came to driving up the mountains, he was very experienced and made us feel safe! The only thing I would change would be spending a little more time at the bottom of Mt Teide and having a swim stop at the natural pools- but I know technicalities would make that difficult, but other than that the tour was good! For the tour - take cash, the first stop is 1€ for toilets, I recommend going a toilet here because the mt Teide stop is so short, there is also a lovely cafe in the hills at Masca that is cash only, lovely place for a coffee with a view! I recommend to wait for the third stop (I believe it was) to buy souvenirs, it's a fairly large store with a lot to pick from! & The toilets are free, there's also a place to get a drink and some food. For the lunch stop it was 20€ for a three course lunch, including a drink. We brought a pack lunch so not sure how good the lunch was! There's a lovely little butterfly house there too that I recommend, we only spent about 30 minutes in there but it was a nice Overall, lovely tour and I recommend it!
This tour covers so much of the island and is a fantastic way to see places you might not otherwise get to during your holiday. It is a long day with a lot of travelling, but overall we felt it was worth it because of the locations visited. The itinerary isn't quite as advertised. If you're picked up in Tenerife South, you'll first travel by minibus before transferring to a larger coach with the rest of the group. The first stop is Vilaflor for a café break. The café promotes itself as the last toilet stop before Mount Teide, although there are facilities available later in the national park so save your 1 euro! We spent around 30 minutes here, which felt a little longer than necessary as there isn't much to see beyond the café itself. Next was Los Roques de García, which was the highlight of the trip for us. The scenery is stunning, and we were given a good amount of time to explore and take photos. This is also within Teide National Park, so it's worth noting that these are effectively the same stop rather than two separate ones. After that came around 90 minutes on winding mountain roads. Credit to our driver, Miguel, whose driving was excellent throughout the day. We then arrived at Parque del Drago, where we had an hour of free time. Instead of joining the organised café stop, we explored independently and really enjoyed the area. If you grab a quick lunch, you may even have time to visit the nearby butterfly house. The next stop was Piscinas Naturales El Caletón. Although the itinerary suggests this is the final stop, it isn't. This was a lovely location and, if anything, we would have liked more time here. It was a very hot day, and having longer to be able to enjoy the natural rock pools would have been ideal. The actual final stop was Masca Valley. The views are beautiful and it's perfect for those looking for that Instagram-worthy photo, although we felt the allocated time here was a little too long compared with some of the earlier stops. At the end of the day, we were dropped back off, with those staying in the south transferring back to a minibus for the final leg of the journey. Thankfully, this part wasn't too long. Overall, this is a well-organised tour that visits some incredible locations. We would have preferred slightly less time at some of the shorter stops and more time at places like El Caletón, but if you're looking to see a lot of Tenerife in one day, this trip offers excellent value. Guide, also called Miguel, was great, very knowledgeable and friendly.
I really liked the tour! It started not too early (7:50am), which was really nice as I could sleep a bit longer, and I was picked up right by my hotel, which was very convenient as well. No hassle at all, and everything worked exactly as expected. Then, on board the bus, the experience was super nice as well. Our tour guide Pedro was very friendly and, importantly, didn’t push anything on us like some other guides do (e.g. no seat assignment on the bus, lunch with the group was not mandatory, etc.). It was really pleasant to have a choice and feel that nothing was being pushed onto us during our holidays! Our driver Julio was super good as well and was able to maneuver even the tightest curves on the road. As for the tour itself, a lot of it was driving and we didn’t have to walk much (around 30 minutes per sightseeing stop on average), which, to be honest, was appreciated given the heat and the fact that we came here to relax. We also made some really nice pictures along the way. Highly recommended!
Great pick up and drop off service. Friendly staff. Great tour. Would recommend to anyone. Liked the continuous updates and the flexiblity to be able to switch dates without any hassle.
Would have been better if the guide new more about the places. Very very rushed tryed to fit to much in and no chance of taking many photos. Good to see the whole island but the whole thing was rushed to get through the itinerary.
Rosa is an excellent tour guide who is fluent in many languages. We learned many things about northern Tenerife in a fun way. Rosa created a good atmosphere in the group and we saw some strikingly beautiful places. A word of thanks is in order for our driver Oscar who must have the patienceof a saint. Just to note also that the lunch option was good value.
Wasn't able to attend my booked trip due to my flight being delayed. I alerted the tour provider ahead of time and they ghosted me. It's not their fault my schedule changed, but I was irked that they'd just ignored me when I contacted them.
This tour covered alot of what there is to see in Teneriffe and Hector and Michael ( not sure how to spell his name) were amazing and very informative including driving very safely with such winding roads a bit of a hair raiser but was so good to see and experience.
This was easily one of the highlights of our Tenerife holiday. The scenery throughout the whole trip was breathtaking, and seeing Mount Teide and Masca in person was something completely different from looking at photos. The whole day was really well organised and we got to see so much of Tenerife. The drive through the mountains was an experience in itself 😂, but the views were absolutely worth it! Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and made the journey interesting without it ever feeling like we were being overloaded with information. We travelled as a family with children of different ages and everyone enjoyed the day. It was a long trip, but there was plenty to see along the way and lots of opportunities for beautiful photos. A fantastic way to experience a completely different side of Tenerife. Definitely a 5-star experience and something we will remember for a very long time! 🌋❤️
Good guide and variety of places to visit. However, I wish we had been given more free time in every town, instead of just following the guide and then moving on
Great it’s was friendly and careful trip we spent very good time keep it up , definitely coming back next time
Not an enjoyable tour. Our tour guide was rude and did not do a good job. The guide would wander off and not wait for everyone and did not make things clear. The route was a waste of time and finally getting to Masca we only had 20 minutes and couldn’t do anything but take some photos and leave. Book another one that focuses on just Masca.
We ordered English tour, result was that tour guide talking 80% Spanish, 15% German and rest was A1 level English (e.g. “now we go north”, “we can see Mt. Teide” ….). We were not stopping for anything interesting or view point, mostly at cafe or shop. Lost day from our holiday
Masca Valley, one of the key parts of the tour, was closed throughout August, due to fire risk. But this was not mentioned on the website at time of booking (3rd August), nor in any emails to follow. We only found out when we joined the tour bus on the day (5th August). The itinerary has since been updated. Obviously the closure is out of the tour operators control but it would have been good to give us time to reconsider. Not enough time at Teidi to look in visitors centre. A lot of time on the bus.
Wonderful! We saw so many beautiful places in one day. The guide was knowledgeable and told us many interesting facts about the history, geography and culture of Tenerife. She talked in both English and Spanish, so it was a great opportunity to practise our Spanish listening skills. The only negative thing - not enough time to explore the Masca village. It was rushed. After quite a long and scary journey up the hill, we should be able to spend more time up there. Good value for money.
The guide should speak more in English
Hmm we did Tiede by night I was expecting more. To be fair though I live in Shetlsnd where we have Aurora Borielis regularly and some mind blowing sun sets can't say I'd recommend this trip its quite pricey for what you get
It was not the highlight of our journey. Most of our time was spent in the minibus between the planned places to visit.
A 9 hour experience that didn't feel half that long. Huge praise for the guide, Isidro, and the driver, Ramon. Isidro was full of great information that didn't feel overwhelming and forgettable, and with a pinch of his humor, that added to the overall charm, helped us create some forever lasting memories. We had some free time in every place that we stopped at. Sometimes just about 20 minutes to take pictures or absorb the views, sometimes longer, so we can drink a coffee or eat something quick. All in all great trip!
Great tour with stops along the Tenerife coast and mountains in Masca and Teide. Well worth the cost.
This is a really good tour Fabulous scenery and a lot of history including Christopher Columbus and Simon Bolivar. Mount Tiede is stunning . The guide and driver were really great
A great trip Very varied with lots of history spectacular scenery and the incredible mount Tiede. Our guide was a fountain of information and the driver necessarily brilliant. ( 100 hairpins and lots of rental cars) Only negative the pa on the bus was distorted but readable
A long time on the bus but only short stops. Ideal if mobility is an issue but we would have liked more time in Teide than the time we spent driving through the forest. We would like to have seen the crater and the opportunity to go a little higher up the mountain.
I enjoy a lot and saw Tenerife from different point, as it was just my second day on the island. I am very happy that I choose to travel by organized group, as I could see more in one day and renting the car would be too crazy for me. So at the end it was good decision. Only, I wanted discover more of Teide, I prefer the time for lunch change for short picnic and spend more time in Teide. This was my disappointment when I realize we are already leaving the park. :-(
Despite arriving very early, tour guide Alexis completely ignored us when we wanted to board the bus. We asked other buses to check where our booking is. Apparently it was in the same bus with Alexis. Bus was packed like sardines in a can, with dysfunctional AC. Journey back had a drop off stop where Alexis was looking for taxis to dispatch passengers for over 15 minutes without any AC in bus. Whole experience was ruined by his attitude.
They were about 14 people in our tour in a large bus with very comfortable ride with their air conditioning. The guide spoke Spanish, English, and German. . He was very professional and well organized.
The excursion was an absolutely unforgettable experience! Our guide and driver were wonderful — professional, friendly, and full of fascinating stories about the island. I highly recommend this tour!
This was an enjoyable trip to see the incredible landscapes of Tenerife. There was lots of information provided on the tour about the places we went. The driver was also very good on some very hairy roads! However I did feel the tour felt a little frantic at times, running around after the tour guide. Teide was incredible but we had 25 minutes- there was a video suggested we could watch but that was 12 minutes so it was impossible to do both. I thought we would have more time at Masca and Teide which I would have preferred rather than rushing to the next stop.
Guide did not share plan of the day and did not share in advance when bathrooms would / would not be available. Bus drive was excellent.
A great tour to see the masca valley and the teide! Our guide was really good to explain and show us the beauty of the island. The return with the bus through the masca valley was definitely an experience! Highly recommended
This was such a lovely day trip - the organised transfer was really helpful and timely as out hotel was outside of the main area. Our guide was kind, helpful, and provided lots of insight and history. The volcano and nearby towns were honestly breathtaking!
Excellent trip. Rose our guide and Gustavo our driver were amazing and made this a memorable trip. Can highly recommend.
An excellent and informative trip. Great sights, all explained so well by our guide Alex. Driver Jose deserves a special mention, he helped everyone off the coach at each stop and was very friendly. Some of the stops were a little too short to make the best of, but we were very happy overall.
What a trip! The drive to Teide was just as exciting as arriving on Teide. The hairpin turns and courtesy of other drivers was amazing. Stops were wonderful and the guide was very informative. We stopped to eat a a restaurant that had a beautiful view and great food.
Absolute best thing I did the whole trip - our guide was fantastic and the tour was so comprehensive - also a wonderful driver - you see it all!
Fantastic tour! Hector, our guide, was polite, knowledgeable, fun, and extremely professional. Our driver, Jorge, was highly skilled at navigating the hilly terrain. It was a really great experience, visiting multiple attractions and enjoying the spectacular views along the way. Tenerife is a beautiful island, and this tour shows that it has much more to offer beyond its stunning beaches.
