Jaime is the best guide we could have had in Tenerife. As always, perfect service and always that passion for the island also for the wine :-).

Itinerary
Atop the island, the landscape turns into volcanic cones, craters and lava, dikes and elevated rock formations. At these heights it boasts a large variety of endemic flora and fauna. Teide National Park is one of the great wonders of the world, and it is for this reason that it was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here the majestic Teide stratovolcano awaits you, which, at 3,718 metres above sea level, is the highest peak in Spain.
You will descend directly down the valley of La Orotava on the way to a prestigious winery located in El Sauzal. The winery is surrounded by vast vineyards, growing at 600 metres above sea level on steep terrain that makes mechanical cultivation unfeasible, and so the vines are tended to by hand.
A guided visit (in english or spanish) will take you through the vineyards and into the winery where you will be able view the wine production process. Then, you will enjoy a delightful lunch on the terrace of the winery’s restaurant with spectacular views. The restaurant is inspired by the Canary Island cuisine, and your meal is accompanied by a selection of three wines made from unique varieties of grapes such as: Listán Negro, Listán Blanco, Negramoll, etc.

Jaime provided the most fantastic experience we have ever had on a tour. Not only was it privatized, but it was also intensely intimate, creating an experience just for us. His depth of knowledge, love for his craft, and expertise about the islands were immense and very apparent. I could not recommend his services enough; it was truly a fantastic experience with an even more amazing human being! Jaime is great!
Feel Tenerife and Jamie IS THE BEST!! I came in for my birthday and he curated an incredible custom guided tour to multiple wineries on the island and an incredible lunch, and even gave me an "all reds" tour as I requested. Everything was VIP and a first class experience, and had private tastings with the vintners. If they're available for your island wine tasting experience, book with Feel Tenerife immediately!!!
We toured the north of Tenerifè which was a stark contrast to where our hotel was on the beaches in the south of Tenerife. The landscape that we visited in the north was out of this world. Driving through the volcanic landscape, walking through the volcanic national park, and then through the thick fog of the pine mountains, to the mountainous town of Tacoronte-Acentejo (region), to the beautiful vineyards of Monje. All of it what incredible, the temperature changes, the views, all were incredible, very very happy Jamie (our guide) told us to pack warm clothes to layer. We travel quite a bit, we’ve been to several wine tours world wide, and have even studied wine ourselves, but my goodness, this meal paired with the wine at Monje was delicious!!! Now, all that said, this trip was made excellent by our guide, Jamie. When we travel we always do a wine tour if we are in a wine region or a food tour with Viator. But this one exceeded expectations. We departed our hotel at 8:30am and returned back at 5:00pm. There were many places we stopped to walk, enjoy scenery, take photos, have a coffee, use the restroom … all the while Jamie answered all of our questions in the most knowledgeable way. Being that he studied tourism and has a degree in all things Tenerife made this trip and his share of knowledge extra special. Now, going back to Monje. A small Vinyard over looking the sea with wines that were reminiscent of Greek earthy characteristics but its own subtle charm, the Rosè stood out to us the most. But holy moly, the pork. I’m not a fan of meat usually, but that pork was out of this world. We learned a lot, we ate more than enough, and we walked around quite a bit, but the time I returned home, we were at a little over 10k steps. But we did enjoy wandering into the deserted volcanic terrain and Jamie gave us space and time to do this. We had an exceptional day and we thank Jamie for this. We highly recommend doing this tour with Jamie at Feel Tenerife!! Bravo! Gracias! Thank you, Jamie!! D and E 🫶🏽
Jaime was wonderful. He was able to adapt the tour to our wants and likes. He gave us so much information about the island. We really enjoyed our time with him.
Wow! This trip was awesome thanks to Jamie, our infectiously enthusiastic and knowledgable tour guide. We had a fabulous wine and gastronomic tasting and lunch, not to mention our tailor-made tour of the island. We are definitely hooked on traditional Tenerife and we’ll be back for more, for sure. Thank you so much!
Jaime was a fantastic guide. Communication was easy and clear. The tour was very informative and he answered all of our questions. We really enjoyed being able to see so much of Teide National Park and he did a great job of making sure we understood what we were viewing. The winery was lovely and the food, wine, and service were all wonderful. We would definitely take another tour if we had the chance.
Jaime offered an unexpectedly personalised trip for myself and my partner. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of the history, biology, geology, culture, and volcanology of Tenerife and gave a real insight into the beauty and diversity of the island. After breathtaking views of the island and Mt Teide, there followed a really fascinating tour of the vineyard, and a genuinely memorable gastronomic experience, with accompanying wine. He had planned to have us at his favourite table in the dining room as well, and had really gone to some effort to ensure we had the best possible experience of the meal, and of the day as a whole, even down to the tiniest details of using his well established relationship with the local coffee shop owner to make sure his customers had a properly made Barraquito! What struck me was how well Jaime communicated and instilled his passion for the island in myself and my partner, to the extent that what had initially been a short notice holiday escape for us, has now given us a strong desire to return to Tenerife and explore the island and culture again. Jaime himself was punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable and the whole day was planned and timed impeccably, with an incredibly convenient pick up and drop off that allowed us to enjoy the day to the full.
What a fantastic tour! Really got to see Mount Tiede national park from all angles, experiencing the drive up through the cloud layer into brilliant light and stunning scenaery, before the main crowds arrived :-) Then a drive down into the Orotava valley, winery tour and delicious lunch at Bodegas Monje. Jaime told us so much about the island, the national park, the way of life on Tenerife - this trip defnitely justifies its 5 star rating!
Absolutely brilliant trip! I had read the reviews and knew it would be good but it surpassed all expectations! Really brilliant and informative trip of the volcano terrain. The wine tour was very good and the food was delicious. Too much of it, but that’s a good complaint! Really would recommend. Jaime is covid conscious too so we were surprised it was essentially a private tour! As well as that Jaime gave us restaurant recommendations which have been great. 10/10
We had a wonderful time with Jaime going through Teide National Park and exploring different sightseeing stops on the way as well as stopping at the winery. Jaime has exceptional knowledge of the Island and encouraged us to ask him as much as possible. Could recommend any tour with Feel Tenerife if Jaime is on it!
This is a wonderful way to see the island. Jaime was a terrific guide and very easy to work with. The scenery on Teide was amazing and the wine tour was good with a delicious lunch afterwards. I would highly recommend this outing!!
Jamie's knowledge of nature in the rain forest and national park make him the perfect guide for a very personal tour. His love and passion for the island show thru. The winery tour lunch was excellent. Who doesn't like slow roasted whole pig!
I cannot speak highly enough of Jaime and Feel Tenerife tours! My wife and I booked a small-group tour with Feel Tenerife for our cruise port-stop at Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Jaime responded to all of my pre-cruise emails promptly and warmly. With the excellent information Jaime had provided, including annotated port-area maps, we were able to meet him at his waiting, super-comfortable van and be off on our tour within 10 minutes of our ship’s arrival. Jaime is a certified guide, with many years of university training in the fascinating culture and nature of Tenerife. He freely and engagingly shared his immense knowledge with us on our nearly seven hour tour. Throughout, we explored and learned about the many different environments of Tenerife, from the beach areas, through the Crown Forest, to the unexpectedly rich and varied landscapes of the Teide national park. Now, my wife (a geologist by training) and I have toured volcanic areas in a number of places — Hawaii, Chile, Italy/Sicily, California and more — but we have never, ever, have experienced in one place the variety and scope of volcanic action and features present around El Teide. Jaime’s intriguing, in-depth explanations brought all of these to life, often exposing fascinating details right in front of us that we’d have missed without his direction. But wait! That was just the morning. After we had thoroughly explored Teide, and as squadrons of huge tour buses were just rolling in, we headed down the mountain for an extended visit to the agricultural (especially wine) area of the island. Our tour was billed as a food-and-wine event, and it excelled in that area. We had a superb, extended lunch at a premier local vineyard-winery featuring many Canarian dishes made exclusively of locally-sourced meats, fish, cheese and produce. Every course was accompanied by an excellent wine from the large portfolio produced at this winery. (We later purchased several of these wines to drink on the ship.) Following lunch, we were treated to a guided vineyard and winery tour which revealed the specialized viticultural and winemaking techniques required by Tenerife’s unique environment. There was more too: A visit to a historical winemaking museum; honey made from stunning, 8’ scarlet-colored flower stalks that grow only in a narrow elevation band high on Teide’s slopes; and a gift of the island’s signature drink the Barraquito, a luscious coffee concoction enjoyed daily on Tenerife as a convivial morning and afternoon reset. Jaime offers more itineraries than this. And after our enthralling day with him, my wife and I are certain that we’ll return to the island for many more experiences with Feel Tenerife. HIGHLY recommended!
We'd been through Tenerife several times but never ventured more than walking distance from the cruise port. There is so much more to see and do! Jaime was the best guide and we left having made a new friend! We stopped for a most delicious coffee drink (Barraquito) and the meal at the winery was so special. The volcano was visible while we ate on the patio of the winery so it was truly a spectacular day.
We enjoyed several hours with Jaime, he’s a very knowledgeable guide, and extremely personable. Took us to a small restaurant off the beaten path and had a fantastic lunch and wine experience. Highly recommend this tour!!
Jaime is an excellent guide and took us on one of the best tours I’ve been on. He made sure we saw so much of the island and his knowledge of its nature and history was amazing. Jaime picked us up from our accommodation and even dropped us off at the Three Kings parade in Santa Cruz at the end of the day. The minibus is very comfortable and his driving was perfect. I felt safe and well looked after all day. Jaime provided a car seat for our baby daughter and went out of his way to make sure she was comfortable. Highly recommend including the tasting menu that Jaime took us to at a restaurant in the Orotava Valley. So many local flavours to try and very good wines. Also don’t miss the barraquito coffees on stop on the way up to El Teide. Thank you Jaime.
My boyfriend and I went on the guided tour with Jaime while on holidays in Tenerife. It was a fantastic experience. Jaime was friendly, enthusiastic and an absolute fountain of knowledge for everything about the island's history and culture. We really felt like we got to know so much about the place, in a really interesting way. We also sampled some delicious wines, and traditional Tenerife cuisine from a local restaurant. Definitely recommend. 5 stars.
From the start, Jaime was great! He was waiting for us as we got off the cruise ship and promptly started the tour. He was extremely knowledgable and told us about the history of Tenerife and its people. He explained the food, culture, economy and how the island is changing, both for the better and worse. On our way to Mt. Teide, we stopped for Barraquito coffee which is authentic, local Tenerife coffee, and just delicious! Once we were back on our way, Jaime impressed us all with his knowledge of geology and the volcanic formations. He took us to great photo spots, sans tour buses. Lunch was at a winery with local wines and traditional Canarian dishes. We would highly recommend Feel Tenerife (with Jaime) to anyone who is looking to take a tour while in Tenerife.
We recently did the Teide & North(an island of contrasts & wines) tour as a shore excursion while in Tenerife. We had a fabulous day with Jaime as our guide! He was very knowledgable & we loved the passion that he had for his country. First was a drive to Mt Teide with a stop at Papillon Restaurante for a Barraquito coffee...what a treat! On the way back down to the winery, we drove through windy residential roads which gave us a real feel for the land & life in Tenerife. The winery tour & the lunch/wine provided at the winery were wonderful. We were back in plenty of time to get back on the ship. Thank-you Jaime for a fabulous day to remember! We highly recommend this tour.
I hired Jaime to take my friends and me on a tour while in Tenerife. Two years ago, he provided a wonderful tour to La Laguna, the Anaga mountains, followed by a fabulous lunch in Taganana. This time he took us west of Puerto de la Cruz. We visited Garachico, Icod de los Vinos, and San Juan de la Rambla. All of these small towns were beautiful with quaint and picturesque streets. He also made a couple of stops for photos ops, always away from the tour buses. He knows his island. The drive to Garachico was quite scary, as he took a smaller windy zig-zag road down to the town, rather than the main road. Loved the views!! After walking around town, we had a coffee break in Garachico at La Patissier. In Icod, we saw the famous dragon tree, which hundreds of years old. More walking in San Juan de la Rambla, also pretty. For lunch (in La Orotava) Jaime took us to Bodegon Matias, a place with lots of locals. We had an assortment of food: Chickpeas with pork, broiled cheese topped with red and green mojo, fish stew, roasted rabbit, chunks of fish topped with sauce, potatoes with two sauces, a light mousse for dessert; wine and water. Everything was delicious. Jaime brought us back to the ship on time, which we appreciated, as it was the last port before crossing the Atlantic. All of us enjoyed our day in Tenerife and with Jaime. He always makes us feel very special and he loves to show off his island. He is a wealth of information and is passionate with what he does. Thank you Jaime!! Until next time.
We chose to book with Jaime based on his excellent TripAdvisor feedback and we were not disappointed. He was waiting at the quayside to meet us off our cruise ship and very quickly our small group of 4 was sitting in his comfortable vehicle heading out of Santa Cruz. In view of the timing of our stop we began our tour with a visit to the winery at Bodegas Monje, where we enjoyed a fascinating tour of this small, traditional but innovative family owned estate which enjoys beautiful views of both the coast and Mount Teide. This was followed by a delicious three course lunch - authentic Canarian cuisine of course accompanied by some of the wine from the estate. We then headed on up to the Mount Teide National Park. Jaime knows this area intimately and so was able to find us some great photostops and to give us some great insights to the history, geology and culture of the area. We had plenty of time to explore and look at the remarkable landscape and to understand how it was formed and the impact of different types of volcanic activity over time. Finally we stopped for a super barraquito before winding our way back to Santa Cruz. Jaime was a great ambassador for the island - he clearly loves his job and his passion and interest comes across very clearly. He was able to answer every question asked of him and he gave us a great introduction to Tenerife. His attention to detail is excellent and we felt like we were being guided by a friend rather than being part of a big corporate machine. Thanks again Jaime and we hope to see you again soon. Peter and Julie
We booked Jaime for a custom experience during our first full day in Tenerife. Since we were staying in Costa Adeje, we chose to tour the North side of the island and finish at a winery. Jaime was an incredible guide - he is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and truly cares about the customer experience. We were continually impressed with each stop and especially loved the private wine tasting he gave us at Museo de Malvasia. I would highly recommend Jaime for your excursion!
Jaime (pronounced "Hi-may") was absolutely terrific. I wrote to him in hopes of crafting a personalized itinerary of places we wanted to see on the island during a 9-hour stop via cruise ship. He helped put together a route with which everyone in our group was comfortable, allowing plenty of time to get back to the boat. He met the 7 of us literally a few feet from where we disembarked, right on the pier. We toured most of the quaint villages on the northern coast of the island: Garachico, La Orotava, and though we had plans to see Punta de Teno, it was closed due to recent rains so Jaime took us to a different vantage point with equally great views. The island is absolutely beautiful. We didn't want to waste time with a full lunch, so Jaime spontaneously called ahead and arranged for a wine and cheese tasting in Icod de Vino with a local winery - incredible! We also stopped for "Barraquito," a delicious coffee and brandy drink at a bakery in San Cristobal de la Laguna. We had plenty of time at each stop to wander the streets and get a feel for each village, while Jaime gave us some interesting history and info about the area (without overwhelming us with boring details) and giving us space to explore on our own. We loved how personalized he made our experience, tailoring it exactly to our interests and stamina levels. We were a motley, moody crew, and he handled everything so professionally and smoothly that there were no problems whatsoever and everyone felt at ease and had a great time. Per our request, on the way back to the ship we stopped to take pictures of Calatrava's Opera House in Santa Cruz (which is closed for tours on Sunday). If you have a day in Tenerife and want to have a unique, small group experience, this is the company to book with! A day with Feel Tenerife was so much more special and memorable than any cruise-ship-excursion we've done. We would recommend them without any reservations, and will look forward to a future tour with Jaime when we visit the island again.
We booked a private tour with Jaime for the Tede Mountain area and had the most amazing time. Jaime met us at our hotel at 8am as scheduled with his very clear vehicle and a welcoming smile. He explained to us what to expect on the tour and the routing that he planned for the day taking into consideration the traffic patterns and flow of the tourists to maximize our viewing pleasure. We started with a beautiful drive to Mt. Tede and was in awe as we drove through the countryside and viewed the spectacular caderas and peaks of the volcanoes. The landscape changed about every 1000 feet and finally we arrived at the bottom of the cable car that took us up to almost the summit of Mt. Tede where we were actually above the clouds and could see two of the other Canary Islands. The views were amazing and some that I will never forget. After leaving the mountain range we drove to Garachico and walked around the old streets and saw how the volcanoes had changed the landscape over the past 300 years. Then it was off to a small wine tasting ceremony where we sampled locally made wines and actually bought a couple of bottles. we had lunch at a local restaurant which was filled with non-tourists and served delicious locally made and sourced food which was delicious. Finally we ended in the Masca Valley where the views were just spectacular and was the end of the perfect day. Jaime was the nicest and most professional guide we have ever experiences. His knowledge is impressive and he makes sure that everyone is comfortable and happy at all times. This is the only tour guide you need to make your visit the most memorable in Tenerife!
Where do I start?!! Jaime Munoz, the owner and guide, has a fantastic and, more importantly, enthusiastic knowledge of the island. Four of us went on the tour of Teide national park and visit to north of the island. A trip of truly great contrasts. We also paid for the gastronomic experience in which we visited a local restaurant for a tasting menu. A fantastic day out, stopping where other tour companies don't. Will be organising a hiking trip on our return. Muchas gracias Jaime.
I hired Jaime for a day trip on the NE side of the island of Tenerife (November 2015). My husband and friends were on a cruise and only had a day to tour around. This was my 5th time to Tenerife on a cruise and wanted to see something new. Jaime organized a day to La Laguna, the Anaga mountains, and lunch in Taganana. In La Laguna, we walked around town for about an hour while Jaime told us the history of the town and of Tenerife. Then we drove along the Anaga mountains, stopping every so often to take pictures. The scenery was breathtaking!! We stopped at the Anaga nature reserve and walked among the flora and fauna. We drove to Taganana on curvy roads, every corner another beautiful postcard view. There were lots of cliffs and terraced fields dotted with homes here and there. Down at the beach we had the chance to walk around a bit. There were surfers in the water. The views were just gorgeous with the high mountain range on one side and ocean on the other. It very much reminded me of Hawaii where I grew up. Lunch was fabulous! We dined al fresco at Asador El Puente. Jaime arranged for a nice sit-down lunch with local foods and wine. We enjoyed bread with rojo mojo (we ordered more mojo), octopus in a red sauce with pumpkin, two types of potatoes (fresh picked from the garden that morning), boneless pork chops with two types of sauces (the mango sauce was the best!), mixed seafood platter (fish, shrimp, razor clams, mussels, baby clams); grilled goat cheese with onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes; along with water, wine, and grappa! Stuffed and happy. Before heading back to the ship, Jaime drove us to the look out point near Puente de los Organos where we had views of Playa de Las Teresitas. The beach sand came from the Sahara desert. All in all, an amazing day! I highly recommend this tour company to anyone that wants a high quality tour of Tenerife.
We recently spent a day with Jaime on a tailor made tour of the beautiful island of Tenerife. We have visited the island many times however it was a first visit for my sister and brother in law from Australia. Jaime took has to Vilaflor, Mount Teide , Orotava Valley, at very tasty 3 course lunch and wine at an old bodega in Tacaronte area continuing past Puerto de la Cruz to Garachico then returning to the south via Valley of Masca and Los Gigantes. Jaime is extremely knowledgeable and holds impressive tourism credentials with a genuine passion for Tenerife and the world of tourism. He is genuinely concerned about the environment and also to raise awareness to his customers of how important is to him to support the variety of local suppliers in Tenerife to make tourism more sustainable. We were very luck to see Mt. Teide in fairly good covering of snow and whilst in this terrain he told us about many indigenous flora, birds, animals. He is very courteous, good sense of humour and speaks several languages fluently. Jaime has all the necessary tour operating certificates, is creative with his marketing and I highly recommend contacting Feel Tenerife. We had limited time, however for anyone in the north spend some time going to towns and villages - my next trip will be to La Lagauna region. I love Tenerife and hope more visitors take the time to explore and see the Real Tenerife!
We travelled as a couple and two friends and decided to go on the Feel Tenerife tour of Contrasts and coupled it with a visit to a Bodegas Monje wineyard. Starting early in the morning we were able to visit some spectacular view points without the tourist crowds everywhere. We got to visit also some traditional churches and saw the differences in vegetation while we climbed closer to mount Teide. Driving through the national park was comfortable in the new minivan, and of course we stopped to some major sights. The national park tour continued to the north part of the island, where we eventually stopped to the wineyard. There we got a tour of the wineyard with the owner (wow, we did not expect this) ending with a lovely local lunch and accompanied by great wines. It is always nice to get a tour from someone who really enjoys his work. You could sense that Jaime really knows what he is talking about and wants to share his love for the island with you. Pros: -An experienced guide with fluent English, German and Spanish. -You really get an individual experience, just your travelling group in the van. -Umbrellas are included. -Our lunch was spectacular. -Provides extra technical stops if needed. These are not really cons, but I had hard time figuring out something negative to say and I found something: -The weather in Teide was like in Finland in autumn, cold and moist. Even though he is a great person I doubt he has any chance to affect the weather, and of course we were warned. -He told us a wrong starting time for the carneval in Santa Cruz. Well, who cares, we got great view by being almost the first ones to choose a place along the street. ;)
Fantastic day out visiting the ports and villages of the North. Jamie was lovely, looked after us really well and had an excellent knowledge of flora, fauna ,history and traditions of the canarian way of life. The gastronomic experience exceeded our expectations, both food and wine were delicious. We thoroughly recommend Jamie and his experience, he is an excellent guide and will give you a day to remember. Will remember it when we return home and enjoy the mojo sauce, with smiles on our faces. Enjoy!
Jamie is an excellent tour guide and really does provide an authentic experience of Tenerife. The Northern city tour was not only beautiful as he takes to some of the most breath taking views but then you will travel into the small villages where he explains the history which is so rich you just want to know more. If you like (and should) he will take you to the local shops to buy local wines, gifts, cheese and he loves to explain and talk about what Tenerife produces. If the the local farmers market is open you NEED to go, the fresh fruits, veggies, and bread is superb. Jamie is also happy to translate as the locals are just as excited to see you as you are them but if you are like us and are silly Americans that don't speak Spanish, then Jamie is a perfect guide. Also you Must, Must, book the gastronomic experience (something you ask for in advance by email)! It was probably one of the Best meals I've ever had. I am a very picky eater in that I demand the best and freshest food and you can't get much better than this local restaurant run by two beautiful sisters. It may not look like much but it is worth every penny and more. I would also suggest that you let Jamie order for you as he is a true foodie and knows what he is doing. If you are squeamish about food ask him to translate what it is later after you've cleaned your plate. For example ask him about the sausage negro with the cinnamon, almonds, and anise seed..it's perfecto!!
Feel Tenerife – Review Short Version: Wow. Excellent in every possible way, highly recommended. When we return to Tenerife (and we want to, after Feel Tenerife), we will take more tours with Jaime. He is knowledgeable, interesting, kind, thinks of the customers all the time. Long Version: Jaime, the man behind Feel Tenerife, gave us a superb experience, in several different ways: 1. Explanations: Jaime seems to know a lot about everything related to Tenerife – history, flora (plants), geology, ethnography, culinary, climate (and it's reasons), politics, and a few other matters. His explanations are understandable even to people who don't know the field in question, but never simplistic. His delivery is wonderful – he is enthusiastic, charismatic, fluent and interesting. 2. Commitment to a wonderful expirience : Jaime was totally devoted to giving us the best possible experience, and it showed. First, we were traveling with my grandmother, an elderly lady. We informed Jaime that the tour can't contain much walking, and he indeed gave us an incredible time with very little walking… but he went further than that, and bought a stool so that my grandmother could climb into his high vehicle without trouble. This is the extra mile of forethought about your clients. He gave us free water, which never happened on a tour before (and was very welcomed). To top it all, we paid for a 4 hour trip, but Jaime noticed we had some spare time before we had to return to the cruise ship, and since we and he were having a nice time, simply added a stop in the ancient city of La Laguna (free of charge). 3. When it was time for lunch, Jaime took us to a small, family-owned restaurant which was so well hidden that even with directions we wouldn't have found it. It was most certainly NOT a touristic place – simply a local restaurant for the local people, and us. The food, by the way, was traditional and very good (as was the home made wine). 4. Oh, and just as a side note, when he saw we wanted to take a picture he suggested that he took the picture with his excellent camera, which he did, so we could have a picture of the whole family in the incredible beauty of Tenerife. So, we wholeheartedly recommend traveling with Feel Tenerife. Sanda
Like many people I thought Tenerife was just about sunshine & relaxing. When I go aboard for big holidays I love exploring culture, history & dramatic scenery. So when our friends booked a day out exploring Tenerife with Feel Tenerife I was not sure there would be much to see or do. Immediately Jaime gave us a warm welcome & promised us a different view of Tenerife. The dramatic ride up into the volcanic hinterland was stunning with Jaime explaining how the islands population had forged a magic bond with the volcanoes to grow all they needed to thrive on the island well before tourism was ever possible. We stopped to take in views through the pine forests down to the coastline and amongst the ancient volcanic landscape at the very top of the island. Later we traversed winding roads down into a remote cultural backwater with stunning cliffs & galleys. Finally we stopped at another remote village where few of the populous had ever left the area to sample some strong red wine wine & gobsmackingly strong goats cheese - really unique. We found Jaime's vehicle & driving very comfortable during the day & we were accompanied by a soundtrack of Canarian music while in the car. All in all you could feel the passion & enthusiasm Jaime has for the island during the whole day. He's talking about doing a course so he can take people star gazing & if it becomes available I'd definitely do it as the air quality at the top of the island was fabulous. Sarah & I loved our day out exploring with Jaime. Paul Haywood
We had a wonderful trip with Jaime on 16.10.2024. Although we were not the first time in Tenerife, we already know some of this wonderful island, but this trip was very special. From our extremely nice guide Jaime we learned again a lot of new, interesting and educational things about this wonderful island.Whether nature, history, tradition or places....Jaime reported to us with a lot of passion and passion and has immense knowledge. After a beautiful drive through the Teide National Park we visited To top off the tour, visit the Monje winery in El Sauzal. A tour of the winery and a short "shed" during the winemaking were interesting.Last we were served excellent food and excellent wine to taste. All in all it was a very successful tour and a very special day (I had my 60th birthday). Thanks again dear Jaime and warm greetings from Walter and Kerstin.
It is certainly the best option to choose if you want to know and fully enjoy the Teide Natural Park and the island of Tenerife. Jaime is a very trained person, full of knowledge and love for Tenerife, very attentive to the details. We could enjoy a wonderful environment accompanied at all times by an explanation from the guide. I highlight the comfort of the vehicle that transported us during the visit, something important to consider in a mountain place such as Teide. We finish our day with stargazing and its corresponding explanation by Adrian, a fantastic astrophysicist who delighted adults and children. Thanks for everything!! We'll repeat!
We did a tour with Jaime in the Teide National Park with a later visit to a winery. It was amazing! He discovered magical corners of the island, conveyed his passion for it. He is a guide with a lot of knowledge and who also knows how to transfer him. Tenerife would not have been the same without this visit with Feel Tenerife! We were delighted.
We booked a day trip through the most magnificent nature park in Tenerife and then visited a winery in the green part of the island and were delighted with Jaime's competent and professional work. You can tell he loves his profession. With a lot of passion he explained his highlights of the island to us in the best German, which would probably have remained hidden from the normal visitor to the island. The culinary wine tasting at a winery was the crowning achievement of the unforgettable day. We will definitely book Jaime again the next time we visit the island. If you want to love the island even more, you should definitely let Jaime show it to you, we can recommend him best. Thank you for the warm and interesting tour!
We did a private tour with Feel Tenerife We decided to see as much as possible in a short time and we got it right when choosing Jaime. He's shown us a little bit of each place, without burden and without haste. He explained every detail of what we were seeing. He has extensive knowledge of the island and conveys his enthusiasm in every explanation. Pamper every detail to make you feel at ease. We visited The Hague winery, where we met Viqui, who overflows with sympathy and knowledge. And our astronomical experience was amazing. Hand in hand with Adrian we knew the stars a little and looked through the telescope. MIND-BLOWING. Thank you so much, Jaime. We have been very comfortable with you and we have the best memory of the island. If we go back to the island, we'll meet again.
The Teide and North Tour, in Tenerife, with the guide Jaime was unforgettable, the landscapes of the island, the chosen tour, the visit to the winery, the tasting food and, above all, the company and explanations of Jaime were very good.
