Absolutely incredible experience. It was phenomenal from start to finish, we really enjoyed it. Thrilling and exciting, a definite must visit!
A fun evening, something a bit different for the family. Picked up from hotel which was nice and easy. Castle set up is good. The main reason for only 3 stars was the waiting around to get into the arena was quite long and the food was disappointing. If you are looking for something different to do for the evening though it’s worth a visit.
A fantastic evening, my husband and I travelled with our 17 year old son. Pick up and drop off was less than a 10 minutes walk from our hotel and was seamless. We arrived in plenty of time so there was a good hour before the show started, during this time you had photos with the King and Queen which you could purchase. There was a bar and souvenir shop, toilets and a large area for waiting, plenty of chairs and tables to sit at. The show itself was brilliant lots of shouting, chanting etc. The food was ok, the vegetable soup was tasty, so was the chicken leg, the sliced potatoes were just ok, and the vienetta style dessert was really nice. Would we go again in the future, yes we would it was a fun entertaining evening out.
Very well managed, bring your shouting voice for your teams, excellent evening. Sound could do with being a little louder when King is speaking.
Fabulous night all round! Really got into the competition element between the 2 sides of the arena and the actors/ performers did not disappoint. Really well put together event with lots of quality entertainment that tells a great story. Food is basic but still very tasty….. even the chicken nuggets for the kids went down well. I would highly recommend this as a night out for anyone with kids….. our grandkids loved it!
Great show, the actors really work hard to make the show very enjoyable. Beautiful horses and extremely skilled horsemanship. The highlight of our holiday
Family will love it x food basic but hot great experience however I would probably get a taxi there as coach over an hour with hotel pickups x
I have been before but family had not. They were very impressed. Meal was lovely, only gripe was that you couldn’t see well to eat at times. Show brilliant as always. Horses were stunning.
Absolutely amazing show! Wonderful location with kind and respectful staff. Stunning performance ! If we have a chance will come back? Congratulations all!!!
Absolutely brilliant atmosphere. The show was fab, a really great experience. Teens and adults loved it! The food was in keeping with theme and tasty for what it was. Recommended!
A friend recommended this show before we left the UK & I was sceptical thinking it would be a tourist gimmick. Wrong! It was a fantastic experience for all the family which I would recommend to others. We have a 5 year old who was mesmerised by horses, knights & fire dancing! The food was amazing too, bottle of wine & soft drinks included made you feel the price was reasonable. Very realistic knights fights (our 5 year old was slightly scared by just how real they made it) Great fun being part of a team, cheering & shouting. A great evening of entertainment.
Show was very good, ie brilliant the way it went, Dinner poor, free wine and water was poor, DINNER,LEG of Chicken + vew veg ,opp, wine 1 bottle of red +1 of white between 5 persons ,nobody offered a refill, I asked the person serving dinner for more he produced 1 bottle of red from inside his cart, that was it for the night as he Dissappeared for the rest of the show, , Show over went to getthe bus Outside NO BUS WAS THERE, WE WAITED 1 Hour and Quarter in the middle of nowhere and very cold before the bus came to take to Civilisation. JOHN DORMAN.and Elizabeth Dorman,
Fantastic really enjoyed it. Lovely food and drinks show exceptional great audience participation!!!
Waited a good 5 years wirth of visits to tenerife to see the medieval show due to the kids ages but finally made it. And we'll worth it it was in my opinion, Picked up around 530pm taken by coach to the castle approx 20 mins. Upon arrival we was met by too gaurds on horse back at the bottom of the draw bridge, once inside we had a quick photo in front of the royal box with the king n queen. Then walked into another area with a bar and gift shop also nice. After a short while we was called in by team colours black or yellow and seated down each side of the show arena. We was then served soup and bread Show started after soup adults got a large chicken on the bone with scollops and tomatoes lovely kids had chicken nuggets n chips delicious Followed by ice cream. Drinks on the table were endless bottles of water fanta white and red wine beware you could easly get cooked on the wine lol. Show was taking place during this period. Advice shout your team on the loudest you can Great overall experience and value for the euros
We had a great night out with good food and an excellent show. Transportation was very good organized.
This show and dinner was an amazing experience to have seen. The story line behind the show and the actors within it were amazing and very engaging with the crowd. The food was lovely and was a three course meal.
One of the best nights ever, amazing. But no Drifters show as advertised. The event is well worth the money and is a very enjoyable evening out
Transfers and show went well. Food was okay. Drink was limited. Was disappointed no show or dancing after medieval event. Not worth the money unfortunately
Great night but the ending went on to long the black knight slayed about 3 times but came back to life food drink ok overall a good night
Driving in Tenerife is very stressful so we enjoyed being picked and taken back to our Hotel. The Medieval Adventure was great. Story lines were fun, audience engagement was great. Kids would love this!
I booked this experience for the thursday on our trip, we were then told by the tour operator that transfers could only be offered from our area on the saturday so we changed the booking. The friday arrived, we then got our booking refunded because transfers were not available on the saturday. I then found out from a local tour operator that the transfer is only available from puerto de la cruz on a thursday, thursday!! the day we had originally booked for. So we miss out on this trip, which we had booked months in advance & were really looking forward to. 😭
We had a wonderful night. There were 6 people in our party (4 children and 2 adults). Everything was fabulous. We got picked up from outside our hotel and were swiftly ushered into the castle on arrival. The dancer in the hall greeted us and we went to have our picture taken with the king and queen. The souvenirs and drinks in the castle were reasonably priced and we were all sat on a table with lots of space around us. The food was of a good standard and the drinks were already there for us to enjoy. The children came away feeling like they had been in battle. We would definitely recommend the medieval night to others coming to the area.
We visited as a family of 5 with ages from 5 to 60. We expected a nice show and meal but the whole experience was absolutely fantastic. The show goes on for a couple of hours and your meal is served authentically in metal bowls and cups. There are two teams competing for the King and Queen’s favour and everyone gets into the spirit of cheering (or booing!) their favourite knights. With fire eating and falconry thrown in too, it is not be missed. The most fun we’ve had as a family in a very long time and a night to remember. Don’t miss this!
This was fabulous family friendly evening fun . Would totally recommend it . Our children absolutely went home filled with knights and castle dreams which carried on until the next day …. Little dreams suited to future knights and kings dreams . Complete with wooden swords and talks of dragons !
Excellent well organised great communication very enjoyable nice air conditioned bus and on time in the correct pick up placeExcellent well organised great communication very enjoyable nice air conditioned bus and on time in the correct pick up place
The show was very good and experienced. But the staff was very bad. We asked about the push chair how we can go upstairs but one of the staff just ignored. It is better if you have more English staff.
The setting was perfect, children loved it . Food very basic. Show fantastic.. Was good for the three generations of our group
Our experience was brilliant, we loved the whole event. I was a little worried about pick-up having read some of the other reviews, however our pickup was only 15 minutes behind schedule which was quite acceptable considering all the places it had been before ourselves and we got to the castle with plenty of time to spare before anything got started. On arrival you are given a large tabard (either yellow or black) and this determines which side of the arena you will sit on and which team you will support. Some attendees were given tabards with golden edges and symbols on them rather than plain and we gathered this meant they were "VIP" and had paid for some extras on their experience. The castle is built for purpose, rather than a "real" castle (just to set expectations), however it is really nicely decorated and alot of fun to take a wander through when entering and exiting. You have a photo taken with the king and queen with a sword prop when you first come in, this is then offered to you for 10 euros when you are seated, we bought ours as a keepsake. You do however then have the chance to take your own free photos with the king and queen after the show as well as other members of the cast, though it can be quite hectic at this exiting stage so I couldn't say it would be a guarantee if it gets crowded and you are in a rush. The show itself is brilliant, the horsemanship on display is excellent especially in full costume. There was also a beautiful bird of prey flown from side to side of the arena as well as some delicate dressage horse displays which were lovely to watch. There is a loose story being told throughout the show but keeping up with it doesn't matter too much as long as you know who you are supporting, and the actors are fantastic at getting the crowd cheering and booing as required. We were laughing, shouting, cheering and clapping all the way through, it really took you somewhere else for a couple of hours. The food is basic, but this was perfect for us. Soup & bread to start with chicken and potatoes for the main course followed by ice-cream for dessert. Others have turned their nose up at this but it tasted absolutely fine. I have a nut allergy and was 100% prepared to not eat anything provided for the duration of the trip but instead the staff gladly checked whether I could eat the starter and main course (I could) and then they completely surprised me by bringing me a fruit salad instead of ice-cream for dessert so I could partake. For this alone, you get 5*s as this meant so much to me. Thank you! Good points: The music, the actors, the horsemanship, the staff, the skills on show, the crowd engagement, the aesthetics of the castle and arena. Places for improvement: Communication after arrival - we didn't really know what was happening for the 30 minutes or so between arrival and entering the arena, so weren't sure if we had time for a drink or if/when we had to go anywhere etc as nobody told us. Just a bit of information here would have helped us feel more settled. Turns out, you literally just wait in that area/sit outside until the doors to the arena open and you go in (after the VIPs have gone in first) - for anyone reading this! Tips: The arena was hot! They do have big fans going but I would recommend dressing lightly and bringing your own fan if you have one as it gets very warm in there. Do not expect gourmet food, expect a basic meal themed to a medieval night. It is simple but tasty and stops your tummy from rumbling. Try and go to the toilet before the show as once you are in your seat, it can be a bit tricky to get out again. You don't get that long to eat each course and it is easy to get distracted by what is going on, so eat whilst you can! Overall, we had a great time and left with big smiles on our faces, and a little husky in the throat from cheering so much.
Me and my boyfriend was going but unfortunately he was being sick so had to cancel was refused a partial refund just put me off ordering off line for days out
Everything went great from pick up to event to getting bk to hotel. My wife and daughter really got into the night with cheering their knight
This is a great alternative to a normal night out in Tenerife. We made our own way there by taxi, which was €25 from Las Americas. The setup as you walk in is nice. You get a photo taken and then gather in a hall where you can buy a drink and souvenirs while you wait. The show is very good and the actors are great and interact with the audience very well. The horses are unbelievable. Wine is included, which was very nice, the food is average but I wasn't there for the food I was there for the show and that was great. The only downside I would mention is that the smell of fumes when the fire shows are on is very strong. Pity this couldn't be changed to some other way of having a fire show. Other than this, I still highly recommend it. It was a great night out, and all the family enjoyed it.
This was an entertaining and fun night. Considering how many were attending, you would think the food might be a bit overcooked or so in taste, but it wasn't. It was warm and very good. Wine and soft drinks were supplied and for the beer drinkers the price for a bucket of beer was very reasonable. The knights/artists are extremely good at what they do and try hard to get and keep the audience involved , even when doing the good/bad guy bit If you have kids this will be right up there street. Highly recommended
An enjoyable evening. Be prepared to get involved with cheering and shouting for your knights, makes it more enjoyable. The food is good and served hot, and was all gluten free apart from the bread roll. Only thing is it gets in the way of watching the event. We were one of the last pickups around 18:40 on a full coach as we were at Golf del Sur and arrived around 19:00ish. Spoke to some people who said they were picked up at 17:20 and there was around 12 people on the coach already so depending where you’re getting on be prepared for a long travel time. We were also the first back so goodness knows how long some folk were getting back so might be worth checking before you book.
The experience is great fun. An excellent show by some very skilled horsemen. The food and wine isn’t very good, but the lack of good cuisine is made up for by the spectacle. All of the children on the arena were clearly having a great time
The show was fab. Time waiting for it to start was a bit long but the cast were great, they I tracked with the crowd well
The meal was good and the show was spectacular. The staff are very helpful and the service is good. The actors are brilliant and very charismatic. This is a unique experience that is definitely worth doing if you are visiting the south of Tenerife.
Fantastic show!great ambiance! Pick up was on time(not from our hotel door though!).The Castle is wonderful.Knights in armour Beautiful horses.pre dinner drinks were reasonable. The show was fabulous!..dinner was so- so. Very edible...that's the only thing brings the rating down.. chicken leg sliced potatoes and cold tomato slices. The soup was howver delicious!. Great evenings entertainment. What skilled knights on horses! ,It was well priced and .I would highly recommend for any age group.
The show was good, the wine was limited, the pick ups were a nightmare. Bus was 15 minutes late collecting us, there were so many pick ups, some of whom were late, we were on the bus an hour & 10 mins, having only gone from Adeje to Christianos finally got to the venue 1 hour 40 mins later. Never again
A fun evening , good entertainment and with active audience participation.. food and wines were good , good value honest fun.
Great night - good vibes. The horses were great our son loved it. Good at making the audience involved.
Terrible. Food is appalling. 40 minutes in fire show started i left due to smoke stinging my eyes and the smell of burning kerosene turned my stomach.
A brilliant experience!! My wife and I went with our 7 year old and 6 month baby. We all absolutely loved it even the baby loved seeing the flames and horses and you don’t need to worry about the baby making noise or anything (Which we were a bit worried about before booking) food was served promptly and was tasty food and wine. Only thing is they ask you if you want another bottle of wine a bit early and only ask once and we hadn’t even poured ours yet. Definitely worth doing!!
Great family entertainment for all ages. My kids absolutely loved every minute of the show especially when the knights from the show interacted with them.
Great evening and lots of fun. Our transport arrived promptly and no issues here whatsoever. The castle itself is nicely presented with the option of a photo before the antics with the actors. The games and horse displays are the selling point here, and we really enjoyed these. They’re super energetic with plenty going on from start to finish. The actors interactions with the crowd were great and created an atmospheric evening. Hats off to them all they really gave it 110%! The food is basic but good, we were lucky to get seconds on the Chicken main so were left pretty full - but again this isn’t the main focus of the trip imo. However, a bucket of 4 beers for €7.50 is a steal! We’d recommend checking this out if you’re looking for something different and an evening out!
Fun knight out!..good fun for all the family apart from our bus door nearly flying off going down the motorway and the lack of communication from driver and the lady on the bus. Long ride back to your hotel..or close to your hotel as they do not pick you up as they say from your hotel . First bus needs to be scrapped
Fabulous show, great food and served promptly it was served hot. Drinks supplied. Unfortunately one person ruined it for quite a few by being flirtatious with the actors and inappropriate suggestions and behaviour. Apart from her, it was a great night.
Really fabulous night out for all of us. Really enjoyed it. The show was fantastic. The horses are incredible
WOW!! An amazingly entertaining evening for the family!! Booked this last minute and was truly impressed. One of the highlights of our holiday. The husband was not fussed about going as thought it would be boring(I booked as I really wanted to go) but he had the best night, along with the rest of the family 🥰. The talent of the riders and the acting if fantastic. I have not been so Involded with cheering and engrossed in a show ever. Worth every penny!! Well done to all involved in the show, exceptional night!!
Very disappointed, bus was over an hour late, which meant we missed all of the pre show entertainment, the explanation they gave us was a road accident, however we know this to be untrue as the bus was on time for the first passengers that aboarded the coach, and to they told us it was because they were waiting for guests at other hotels that were running late. The coach was hot, no drinks were offered during the delay and not even an apology. Events we had planned for later in the evening had to be cancelled because we arrived nearly 2 hours late which meant the show didn't end until late. We paid for the full experience and didn't feel like we had this. The show itself was brilliant, but events earlier in the night spoilt what should have been an even better experience.
