Great boat trip, lovely crew ! Thoroughly enjoyed it! And we say whales and dolphins ♥️

Definitely worth the money. The guide was attentive and knowledgeable. The service was top class, and it was nice to see how much the staff respected the animals and the area. Would definitely recommend but book in advance as it is quickly sold out.

We had a wonderful trip to see multiple pods of pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins! The captain and guide were extremely knowledgeable. We stopped for a quick and cold swim by the cliffs. I can’t recommend this experience enough!

We did the tour yesterday with Jakob and it was amazing. We are currently looking into sustainable and animal-friendly whale tours in Tenerife for work so I was very happy to participate in this one. I can really recommend it! It is super nice to be on a sail boat with the views of los gigantes and you also get a lunch and education on the area as well as the animals. It is definitely worth choosing this tour and to do it responsibly. And also the crew are amazing people!

Lovely boat trip. Saw several pilot whales (mostly females with their calves); the captain turned of the engine and the whales seemed to surround us and just hang out. Amazing. And the lunch was good too!

The meeting spot that they provided was not where the boat was and they left without us, but came back to the dock once we texted them. The boat trip was ok the boat captain was great but the boat guide was condescending and not very nice.

Perfect service, got to see the wales very close to the boat. Crew told a lot of facts about them. Had a swim in the ocean and snacks later, everything was as promised.

The Guides were super friendly and the small group was perfect for a relaxed trip! We saw a lot of whales and the little swim and the lunch at the end made it perfect. Definitely recommend

Had a great sail out of Los Gigantes departing 4pm. Sailed out towards La Gomera and saw 3 different pods of dolphins ,one of which was playing with youngsters jumping out of the water as they played. Stopped near the Masca cliffs for a swim, snorkel and tapas. On the sail back from the cliffs to Los Gigantes we were very privileged to see a big turtle (was 4 to 5 feet in size). From a distance it looked like a bundle of seaweed but as we approached we saw it swimming and it dived under water as the boat approached. Just goes to show it pays to keep your eyes peeled, especially on your way back

My daughter and I went on this tour and we absolutely loved it. The guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. The snacks were delicious. We saw many dolphins so close to the boat. Everything was great. Highly recommend.

A fabulous afternoon. Felix and son took us out. Husband and I joined 6 others on the Bavaria 42 yacht. We motor sailed and found a group of pilot whales. Plenty of of opportunity to take photos. Felix clearly knew a lot about the whales. We then returned via the cliff faces of Los Gigantes. Too windy to swim but had a delicious snack style lunch and drinks. A really enjoyable trip.

We made the trip south from a cloudy Buenavista del Norte, and it was worth every hairpin bend in the road! Los Gigantes is a charming resort with incredible views of the cliffs and a lovely marina. We noticed the temperature difference form the north coast of the island straight away, lathered on the factor 50 and boarded the boat after a warm welcome from Sara and the Captain - didn’t get his name - sorry. Sara is a vivacious and most informative guide, her knowledge of the marine life is huge, so far as to educate us to the facts that only 6 mammals on earth experience menopause including the pilot whales we got close up views of. We also saw dolphins and turtles and got spectacular views of Los Gigantes, Teide and La Gomera, went snorkeling under Los Gigantes incredible cliffs and ate beautiful homemade tapas. We also were informed that doing these boat trips helps preserve the biodiversity of the ecosystem and visiting the whales and dolphins in the wild contributes to the islands economy and ecology. Thanks so much Sara & captain for such a beautiful, memorable and informative experience. Oh and bring plenty of factor 50! We got nicely baked by the Tenerife sun along the way and are relieved for having used the highest sun protection we could.

We booked the experience online, so had little idea what to expect…. They completely outdid themselves, specially Sara from Madrid! What a gem!!! Not only is she so passionate about her job but she has all the hospitality skills to make everyone on board comfortable, happy and feel very safe! The food was incredibly tasty and fresh, the information shared on tour was so interesting and we felt very comfortable with their approach to the animals in the sea! Thankyou for making our morning so enjoyable, we want to do it all over again for a full day! Thanks to Captain Fede too!!

Had the most amazing time. Not one who naturally enjoys boats this was great and we saw Whales & Dolphins….Sarah and James were excellent hosts, knowledgeable about the area but also the conservation aspects. Lunch was tapas style and very much appreciated. Would highly this to anyone who is unsure of their sea legs.

It's been a while since I took this trip, but I vividly remember it, and I definitely want to make a recommendation. Last April, my husband and I visited Tenerife and decided to go on a boat trip around the island. Our main goal was to enjoy some quality time, admire the island landscapes from the sea, have a refreshing swim, and if possible, catch a glimpse of some cetaceans. Fortunately, we had the chance to experience all of these. The day didn't start well as there was an issue with our booking, which was originally scheduled for the morning slot. However, the crew was very accommodating and managed to reschedule us for the afternoon slot. They even suggested that we take a walk in the Los Gigantes village and have a swim in the oceanic pool while waiting. Once the trip began, it was truly enjoyable. The crew provided us with fascinating insights into the fauna of Tenerife's waters. We were lucky enough to spot some dolphins and whales from a safe distance, and we got a closer look at nearby La Gomera. The view of the majestic Teide volcano from the sea was simply breathtaking. It's important to mention that we were a small group of 9, which was a significant difference from the crowded boats we passed by. The crew's hospitality was outstanding, and they prepared delicious snacks and drinks for us to enjoy after a quick swim near the Acantillados. Overall, I strongly recommend this boat trip to anyone who wants to have a wonderful time away from the crowds in Southern Tenerife.

Had the most amazing experience together with a group of friends and Picardy Sailing Club. A beautiful boat surfing the coastline from Los Gigantes.. spotting several groups of dolphins, pilot whales and even Hammerhead sharks. Very beautiful and magical experience with Picarus Sailing Club! The team is super friendly, perfect and respectful sailing, Max was not stingy with explanations and comments, which we strongly appreciated. 8 people maximum on the sailboat, in addition to the 2 skippers. We were lucky enough to see families of pilot whales and their babies. We had a wonderful time, I recommend it 200%!

Both Max (the guide) and Misha (the captain) were very pleasant and helpful. Besides telling us what we were seeing during the trip and making it more enjoyable, they were very attentive to our stay on the sailboat... The tips they send you are very useful.

You are well taken care of with information before and during the trip, as well as culinary delights! In a small group, there is enough space on the beautiful boat, and you can leisurely look out for sea creatures 🐳 in all directions. Really highly recommended!

Sailing trip at the top-notch! We were a group of 8 people with a French-speaking guide. Max was able to answer all our questions while telling us about life in Tenerife and sharing many anecdotes. We were lucky to see dolphins and even a turtle 🐬🐢 The crew was attentive from start to finish. You can go there with your eyes closed!

Morning excursion 10am-1pm by sailing boat. Group limited to 9 people: you can travel on board to observe marine animals easily. When you look at several groups of globicles, you have time to see them because they rest on the surface and move very slowly. Great experience! Stop at the foot of the cliffs Los Gigantes with a nice salty snack. A success!!! And explanations in French about marine animals.

It's all very well! It was a great experience! Everyone arrived on time and we went out into the ocean five minutes early. We've seen whales and dolphins! We had time to swim and see the fish, the water was cool, but once you can swim. And then we got a good meal! Thank you very much ❤️

Booking the whale excursion with the picarus sailing club was a very good decision. The organizer meets the highest standards of animal welfare. We had a great tour with a great crew. As a highlight, we were able to observe a group of pilot whales. But the tour alone would have been a great experience. Thanks to the captain and Sarah for all the information about the whales. Thank you also for the critical report on Loropark and keeping whales and other animals in captivity. The animals belong in their natural habitat and not in theme parks! The delicious food and the snorkel tour were a successful conclusion to a great tour! Highly recommended!

Superb outing to see the whales with Sarah and Jame who speak French and were adorable. The little picnic was delicious (the tortilla yum yum). To recommend without hesitation.

Sailing excursion to the cliffs of the giants 100% recommended! 5 friends went and we ended up delighted! We have seen several tropical pilot whales (for some tropical hotties...) we made a stop to take a bath and they gave us drinks and a delicious snack! To top it all off, Sara and Jaime were very nice, professional and at the same time we had a laugh, they are the ones who made the experience 10!!

We spent a wonderful 3 hours on the sea with Picarus. A total of eight guests, the charming Sarah as guide and the captain. The entire boat tour was very well organized, we were repeatedly asked how we were and the food was excellent. Oh, and vegetarian and gluten-free options were taken into account. During the tour we received a lot of information about the marine world in the Canary Islands. We also saw dolphins several times. For anyone interested in ecology, this is a highly recommended tour operator. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
