I'm hard of hearing so had my hearing aid in but even my Spanish partner struggled with her Spanish accent whilst speaking English. I think I caught 20-30% of what she was saying. I know it's not her fault but perhaps guides doing an English tour would be better suited if they had a more neutral accent.

Marie was a very good knowledgeable guide. She was friendly and professional. She made the tour interesting and made me want to return to Las Palmas to discover more.
The walking tour of the old town was excellent as it was very detailed, historic and interesting throughout. Our lovely tour guide Maria was absolutely brilliant and her English was impeccable and she was very friendly and her wealth of knowledge was vast about the old town. I would recommend this tour/experience for everybody coming to Gran Canaria and I’d just like to thank Maria again for such a fantastic day out and for being an amazing tour guide.
A very pleasant tour around Las Palmas old town. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave lots of information. The tour took in a church for around 10 minutes.
We visited the highlights, tour was very interactive, tour guide was knowledgeable
Make sure you really can walk or get around. It was an excellent time but don't fool yourself because it's not fair to others when we have to wait longer than usual.
That it is combined with hop in hop off bus tours and 30+ people will be on this tour so you can’t really see much of the old town or hear.
Guide was great, knowledgeable, friendly and fun. The tour was well organized and had some interesting facts. Difficult to confirm location meeting point as the operator didn’t reply to any of my texts. Had to call the operator. It was limited to only one small section of the town. Other than that I would recommend
Arrived early to ensure we had the right meeting place This was a very busy tour with many in the group of all different nationalities. There were no ear pieces or microphones provided, so although Maria did a good job with coordinating everyone a part of the tour was missed & it was a bit disjointed with her addressing the x 2 Spanish people in the group then us - we noticed that people did leave the tour mid point, not sure why. Don’t know the best way to get around this logistical nightmare?? We have been spoilt before with small groups & private tours in the past, so this was probably a factor too. Also timings out, when we booked it was advertised as 90 minutes when in fact it was only 60. Still good value for money though, just would’ve like it a bit more personal! Well done to Maria - it must be daunting to have such large numbers in a group!
Amazing it was really a good insight of las Palmas history and city.recommand highly. Take your time with the tour, she is amazing.
Too many people in this group and hard to hear guide. Head sets might improve the tour experience I guess
The guide was intelligent, well informed, polite and multilingual, but the meeting point was disorganized and chaotic. I wanted a monolingual tour (in Spanish) because it´s boring to hear everything twice, and it wastes time. However the majority of the tour were non Spanish speakers so she had to alternate between English and Spanish, which means everything goes very slowly. Not the guide´s fault … I blame the organizers.
The guide was good and friendly but our booking said it was a 90 min tour but it was only an hour. As it was translated into English then Spanish we didn't cover much area.
The tour lasted 1 h instead of 90 minutes. Being bilingual was very tiring. Switch language took too long. The guide was knowledgable but She was pretty stressed. We saw very little.
Disappointing. Whilst I appreciate the guide had both spanish and english speakers in the group, the tour was billed as English speaking. Time was wasted translating information twice(as in both languages. The tourlastedmax 1 hour not 1.5hours as advertised.
Great tour all over the different areas of the old town, with a few sneaky trips into shops to see some historical buildings, and a great guide!
Our guide, Maria, was very friendly, spoke English quite well and was very well informed. We were the only two on the tour so it felt like we had a private and personal experience. Considering the cost it is an hour extremely well spent.

I am writing to express my disappointment in the above tour and to advise you of how it was handled.

I originally booked for the 12.00 tour but received the attached email changing this to 13.00.

My wife and I arrived at the meeting point in plenty of time for the 13.00 tour. There were about six of us who met with the guide. She then told us that the tour started at 13.15 under the tree on the opposite side of the road. Whilst we made our way there the guide went to the HOHO bus stop and proceeded to collect over 30 other people. Apparently the HOHO bus ticket included a free walking tour at 13.15.

This then made a party of around 40 and it was impossible for the poor guide to speak audibly to us all. She was even having to do the tour in Spanish as well as the English which we had booked. It was obviously not her fault that she was required to take an unpredictable number of people from the HOHO bus. I am most disappointed that our booking at 12.00 in English which would have just been people booking and paying for the specific tour was changed to an open house and the resultant chaos.

Nice neighborhood with beautiful architecture. Unfortunately surrounded by hideous buildings. The rest of town is astonished.
Bruno is a great guide with humor and kindness. Clear and exciting explanations!! Thanks.
Very nice guide who did well. Too bad it was a bit unclear with regard to several types of bookings that mixed up, there were people with a walk of 1 hour for 7 euros and of 1.30 hours and 8 euros.
