We chose Lola’s tours based on the great reviews and she didn’t disappoint. We did the wine tour and the Volcano tour. Lola is brilliant and a lot of fun. She has lived here most of her life and seems to know everyone and has a brilliant knowledge and passion for the island which really shines through. She explains the history of the volcanic eruptions and you drive through the lava fields which are incredible to see. She constantly makes little detours to show out of the way things like her favourite cheese shop or a local farm, stops to show amazing views and is always pointing out things to look at on the drive around. The ‘brunch’ is actually a tapas meal in a pretty little village and comprises a delicious variety of local dishes including fish, pork, Spanish omelette and beef. We were not sure we would eat much after our big hotel breakfast but we easily managed to devour the tasty food! The wineries were interesting to visit and we enjoyed some very nice wines. Our favourite was Stratus which was very pretty and in our opinion, had the best wines. The way they grow the wines in the ash is something like we’ve never seen and incredible to see. It was a great day and Lola made it a lot of fun! Her passion for the island is contagious she is a great ambassador a great guide and a great lady. You won’t regret booking one of her tours and we wouldn’t book with anyone else if we were to come back to Lanzarote. Also if you book one of her tours, you are guaranteed to get Lola as she runs all of the tours herself. Thanks you, Lola, it was so great to meet you and spend two fantastic days with you.

We will enter a unique landscape in the world, La Geria, which represents the ingenuity and determination of its local inhabitants, who, far from abandoning lands covered in volcanic ash, decided to take action in order to continue and not give up their beloved vines. And that is how they transformed the landscape, creating an absolutely majestic and magical setting.
This family-owned winery, special for its close and personal service, offers a variety of wines from the volcanic land, such as Listán Negro, Moscatel, and of course, Malvasía Volcánica, which is the queen of all local crops, but in each family it has its own unique and characteristic flavor.
Winery with large production capacity, one of the largest in the area, spectacular direct views of the volcanoes, and restaurant and shop services.
Typical Canarian restaurant, tapas and volcanic wines since 1890, one of the most authentic places for food and tradition. Brunch with a variety of tapas
This charming family-owned winery, preserved with details from the past, will allow us to travel back in time to the homes of the locals around the 1800s.
Stratvus is our favorite winery, and it will be the cherry on top to finish this tour. The house was rebuilt in 2008 by this family of farmers and winemakers who are creating not only very special wines but also a wide variety of dairy products such as yogurts, curds, and cheeses of all kinds. In 2024, they won the first prize in all of Spain with their cheese made from Jersey cow milk raised in Lanzarote, called Don Nicolás. Don’t miss the experience and come taste all of this with us.

Lola arrived exactly on time to collect us for the wine tasting tour. Very friendly and welcoming and it transpired it was just us 2 on the day for the tour. Lolas very enthusiastic about the island and very knowledgeable having lived there nearly all her life. Vineyards were great, very interesting and Tapas was amazing. Thanks Lola!
Lola was an awesome tour guide. She is native who loves her island and wants to share it. Her energy, silliness, and knowledge were very impressive. We really enjoyed our day with her.
Amzing day visiting 4 wineries and enjoying the different wines learning about the local agricultural area and the volcanic ways of farming. A lovely warm informative hostess . Brunch was amazing the tapas was the best.Went to places u wouldn't find on your own as a tourist thoroughly recommended 👌
Amazing day spent tasting wine and tapas. Lola makes the day an experience to remember.
An informative and fun visit. Saw and learned so much about this beautiful island from our passionate, humorous and gorgeous Lola. Tasted some excellent wines and amazing tapas in a lovely restaurant.
Lola is welcoming, energetic, friendly and accommodating! We had a wonderful time with her and totally enjoyed the beautiful view from the ride. She is so much fun to be around and the size of her tour is small so it’s more personal and more relaxing to enjoy the beauty of the wineries. Highly recommended for who wants to have a taste of local wines and beautiful food/company.
We had the most fantastic day on our wine tasting experience in Lanzarote for my birthday! Lola was absolutely lovely — super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make the day feel really special. She took us to a beautiful local tapas bar where the food was absolutely delicious. She also took lots of photos throughout the day, capturing some wonderful memories for us to look back on. It was clear how much care and effort she put into making sure we had a brilliant time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lanzarote. Thank you for making it so special!
Great day out and lots of vino, really liked the real authentic tapas, don't know who advised lola to give my wife maltersers but she was very happy. If you want a few hours to chill try local wine and real local tapas ,you will see the real lanzarote and lola is knowledgeable but really sound. Had a great day out and would have no hesitation recommending Chris
Lola was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, easy going and friendly. Seemed to know everyone, everywhere. I will definitely use her again.
Great, fun tour, but I confess I expected to taste way more wines, have a blast, and arrive home being carried (hahaha); the experience felt like something I could have done myself, so it wasn't worth the price. I expected more freedom and to visit more unknown wineries and places. But it was still fun; we returned to the wineries on the next days and did the experience the way we wanted. :)
What a fun day. Great sights, wine, and food. Lola made it fun, entertaining, and very informative of the island and the wine making. Had a group of 5, picked up right at our hotel. Looking for a great experience? You should book this trip.
Lola was passionate, informative and fun about her Island, its wines and her people We had a fantastic day
Couldn't recommend this tour highly enough - Lola is a fantastic guide and made the day really special and unique. Collecting us and fellow guests from another hotel, she created a bespoke experience taking us to all the finest Wineries in La Geria. We had plenty of time in each location and got to taste a variety of wines in each Bodega. Lola's knowledge, warmth and enthusiasm and love of the island makes the day such an enjoyable experience and was our favourite part of our visit to the island. We have recommended this tour to friends and family and would encourage anyone visiting Lanzarote to book this great experience. Thanks again to Lola ❤️
The atmosphere was fantastic right from the moment we were picked up. It was a trip shared with just one other couple, making it an intimate and personal experience. Lola is an enthusiastic guide who shares a lot of information about the area. There is plenty of time at each winery, and Lola takes everyone's preferences into account. The lunch in Yaiza was exquisite. In short, we highly recommend this tour. It is a wonderful way to learn about the La Geria wine region, taste delicious wine, and enjoy authentic Spanish food. Lola makes the day unforgettable with her humor and warm personality. We will definitely return for another excursion; her company offers so much more than tours from other providers.
Brilliant tour, Lola is very knowledgeable and a superb guide. Nothing was too much trouble and she took us off the beaten track
Highly recommend booking this wine tour, amazing experience. Lola was an amazing host, driver etc. she made the day memorable and took great pictures which she share with the group. I wasn't a white wine fan before going, but the wine wine we tasted on the day changed my opinion.
Couldn't recommend highly enough, had a great day wine tasting with Lola and our fellow travellers. Lola will make your day fun filled and hugely enjoyable, you'll get off the beaten track as Lola will help you see some less visited sites. Worth every penny and we'll definitely use her again on return to Lanzarote. Thanks for an amazing day!!
One of the best trips we have been on, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We got to see parts of beautiful Lanzarote that we might not have if we hadn't been on this trip. Lola, our tour guide, was a complete hoot and such good fun. She was also very knowledgeable about the island and the bodegas and tapas bar we visited. There wasn't a single thing we didn't enjoy. Thank you Lola ❤️
Lola is a great guide, giving all the information you need and has excellent knowledge of not just the wineries but Lanzarote as a whole. Her vivacious personality kept us engaged and entertained throughout the day. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit to the tapas bar and the excellent food
Lola was absolutely wonderful, her knowledge on all of Lanzarote; history, local villages, out of the way non tourist places was brilliant.
The tour guide lolita was excellent She was such a warm and friendly person Which made the day Her knowledge of the vineyards was also excellent Lunch was perfect as the Tapas restaurant was so quaint and the food was excellent Would definitely recommend this Tour
We have been to Lanzarote most years since 2006, this was our 1st opportunity to do a wine tour. We found Lolas tours and liked what we read. On the day of the tour it was just ourselves and Lola which added to the experience. She's lived here for most of her life so knows the place personally. As we witnessed in every Bodega, she is well loved and respected. We tasted some beautiful wines, had some amazing Tapas, had such a great experience, we really can't wait to go back, if you like good wine, good company, good food and something a little different, you need to book this tour.
Our day with Lola began with a prompt pick up from our hotel, straight away we could tell this day was going to be fun. As well as the vineyard visits and tastings we were treated to a lot of local history, the traditional tapas, when we stopped for lunch was fabulous. If you want to have a laugh in relaxed company Lola's trip is what you need to try and to top it off we have made a new friend.
This tour is such a great experience! Lola is so heartwarming and just the perfect guide if you want to feel like visiting a friend, spend some time on this beautiful island, gather some knowledge and enjoy some good wine at the same time. We’d always do this tour again when we’re on Lanzarote and looking forward to our next tour with Lola.
Wow what can I say, my husband and I had a fantastic full day out with the charming Lola for wine tasting and tapas. Lola was friendly, passionate about Lanzarote and the wine area of La Geria. We went to 5 different wineries all different styles, tasting their wines and enjoying a personal unrushed tour of each. We had Tapas at Bar Stop in Yaiza with a large selection to taste between us all which was fabulous. Wine and drinks provided alongside the meal. Lola also supplied water bottles whilst out to keep hydrated. Can't rate this trip high enough and would definitely recommend over the large tour buses. Many thanks for a great day out.
The most unique and beautiful experience we could have asked for! Such friendly and fun company. Worth every penny in my opinion. The time at each winery is perfectly spaced out so we never felt rushed and dinner was spectacular. Such a lovely atmosphere from all the staff at the wineries and feel as if we’ve made good friends on the island in just one day. We were lucky enough to have been the only people on the tour the day that we went, which made for the most perfect private tour for our anniversary! Incredible day and one we will never forget!
Had an amazing trip with Lola around the local Bodegas on Lanzarote. Great wines to try and great company the whole trip. It was clear that Lola loved what she does and this was reflected in the greetings she received at all the places we visited, she knew everyone and they all knew her. We stopped for lunch in a fantastice, small tapas bar where the food was great...more wine too! If you are looking for a trip like this we would highly recommend booking with Lola.
Lola is amazing!! Seriously this is one of the best tours we’ve had the pleasure of taking part in! It had to do with the amazing producers we went to, but a big reason was Lola’s passion and energy! She’s knowledgeable about the area, people and customs. In addition to visiting four distinct wineries the tapas lunch was one of the best meals we had. This is must tour in Lanzarote!
The wine tasting tour was absolutely wonderful — we really, really enjoyed it. We visited more than four wineries, and each place felt special in its own way. Lola told us so many interesting things about Lanzarote, the island and local winemaking, so the tour felt not only tasty, but also very meaningful. The pace was perfect for our small group of four people. Everything felt relaxed, comfortable and not rushed. The tapas bar was also a lovely surprise - the food was very, very delicious. Also, Lola can always help you find the best angle for photos among the beautiful vineyards and give you a few great tips. =)
Absolutely wonderful day out. Lola's knowledge and love of the areas local vineyards is outstanding. We have told everyone who will listen about what a brilliant experience we had.
Super day out. Lola was an expert, warm and friendly host. She's a Lanzarote local, and as such knows many of the wineries and local places very well. As such we visited a few places off the beaten track which was great. If we ever return to the island I'd get in touch directly and say "where to next?!"
Lola made the whole experience enjoyable. She was fun, happy and knowledgeable. We learned so much more about Lanzarote than just wine tasting. Lunch was excellent and we were introduced to so many local people.
Lola collected us from outside where we were staying. She jumped out of the car and greeted us with a big hug and an even bigger smile. We then were introduced to the other guests and set off. Lola was fantastic, she talked throughout the journey, explaining the days events and gave us information about the islands history. We visited 6 wineries over the day and also stopped at a traditional tapas for lunch which was amazing. Lola showed us an around the winery’s and shared the history of each with us. We tasted lots of Lanzarote wines and also had the chance to buy our favourites. Some of the wineries were commercial and others very small, but all were amazing for different reasons. We also had a few unexpected stops along the way, which included meeting the local camels and seeing pigs, sheep, goats and cows at a local farm. This was one of the best experiences we have done and Lola was an exceptional guide, she was funny, entertaining and a pleasure to spend time with. She was also an excellent driver. I would thoroughly recommend joining one of her tours.
Great tour thank you so much!!
Our guide was amazing, she knew her wineries, we had so much fun and local "Bar Stop" for Tapas and Wine was all to enjoyable. Definitely felt the culture and glad to be in a small group. Amazing way to grow grape vines/grapes and the wine was awesome. Highly recommend
Small group (6 people) allowed for a private touring experience. Great customer service working around our cruise docking delay. Lola had a great attitude and lots of local knowledge. We visited 4 wineries and a small local restaurant for tapas. Excellent excursion and so much better than the large cruise ship experience.
This was a really great experience and a great way to see the unique landscape of Lanzarote, as well as (of course) the wines. We visited a range of wineries including larger and smaller ones and tasted so much beautiful wine! Lola was amazing, really friendly and relaxed, and nothing was too much. The lunch was absolutely delicious, at a tiny little place we'd probably never have found otherwise, and we also visited a local market between wineries. I can't recommend this tour and Lola enough!
I want to start by saying that our tour guide was kind, accommodating, pleasant, and clearly very knowledgeable about the island. Her familiarity with the landscape and history made for an engaging experience, and I did come away feeling like I learned a lot about the area. However, there was a very serious issue that cannot be overlooked. Despite the fact that two black guests (myself included) were present, the guide quoted how others had referred to people of African descent by using a racial slur (twice) while sharing anecdotes about her time living in another country. This was deeply uncomfortable and unacceptable. Regardless of intent and that the slur was not directed at us, language like this has no place in a professional setting, especially one that involves interacting with diverse groups of people. Cultural sensitivity and awareness are essential in hospitality, and I strongly believe the guide would benefit from formal training in this area. In terms of the tour itself, it’s worth noting that this is not a deep-dive wine education experience. If you’re expecting a structured wine tasting where you learn about grape varieties, tasting techniques, and the nuances of flavor, this may not meet those expectations. Instead, it’s more of a semi-private island tour where you learn about the island's history, agriculture and have the opportunity to have wine tastings and tapas at several wineries along the way. Except for the concerns about cultural sensitivity, this tour is an excellent experience as the guide is very passionate and proud about her island home.
Lola is a super fun and genuinely knowledgeable guide. We would not have been to some of the places we visited without her. Thoroughly recommend the tour.
This was an experience not to be missed! Totally fantastic and then there is Lola! What a tour leader! Having worked for a tour operator for 30 years I have to say that Lola is an absolute star! The tour was very good as well!
Lola, our guide, was very passionate and knowledgeable about the island and the wineries. Overall, this was a great tour and a lovely way to spend the day getting to know the island and enjoying lots of lovely wine and tapas food.
Yesterday we joined Lola’s wine tasting tour and what a day it turned out to be. Lola is a local guide who keeps her tours small and personal, and we were lucky enough to have her all to ourselves, which made the whole experience feel even more special. A reassuring message first thing confirmed our pick-up, and true to form, she collected us right from where we were staying. From the moment we met her, Lola was warm, fun, and effortlessly engaging. She has a genuine love for what she does (and for her animals!), and that shines through in every part of the day. We visited three beautiful wineries in the morning before heading for an incredible tapas lunch, then rounded off the afternoon with two more stops. At one point, we even spotted camels returning from the volcano and, in a lovely spontaneous detour, Lola took us to a hidden spot to watch them pass by. One of those unexpected moments that sticks with you. Picked up around 10:15 and dropped back at 5pm, it was a full day, but never rushed. Just perfectly paced, relaxed, and full of little touches that made it memorable. By the end, it felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with a friend. A very special lady, and an experience we won’t forgetCo
WOW, what an amazing trip! Lolita was so experienced and enthusiastic about her country and had so much knowledge, more than we found out on a whole day tour of the whole island the day before. She took us to lovely wineries where they all knew her and we were treated very well with our tastings! Local tapas place with loads of great food. We couldn't have asked for more and were overwhelmed with the hospitality over the whole day. Well worth the money! A must for those who like wine and culture.
We had a fantastic day with Lola. She is a fun but very knowledgable guide. The tapas food was amazing but huge portions for us. We felt like we has made a friend for life.
We were very fortunate to take the Lanzarote wine tasting tour. Lola herself came to collect us at our hotel to begin a great day of learning about the people and the unique environment of the island and tasting a multitude of wines from local producers. We avoided the big bus tours and opted for something more intimate. It was the right choice as Lola makes this tour something extra special. When you first meet her, you will be in smiles because she has a very fun and engaging personality. You can tell she brings genuine passion about Lanzarote and its people. Because she is a local, going with her opened up a whole set of new experiences that you really cannot find elsewhere. She may nearly know almost everyone on the island! In terms of value for this tour, Lola does not disappoint. We ended up visiting an extra winery and we had a fantastic local lunch (included in the price) at a tiny local place that we never would have found on our own or with any other tour. Lola definitely has a big heart and by the end of the day, you will find she has given a little piece of it to you. We take back very fond memories of Lanzarote and it is down to great people like Lola. Mensaje personal para Lola. Fuimos nosotros quienes ayudamos a rescatar al perro y estamos muy contentos de saber que ha encontrado el camino a casa.
What a fantastic, and Lola's knowledge and obvious love for her home were incredible. She made it so personal by introducing us to locals everywhere we went. The wine was great, and the food was fantastic. Lola, you're absolutely brilliant and now our friend in Lanzarote.
Surpisingly we had a private Tour with Lola. It felt more like a girls trip. We laughed so much with each other and Lola is an absolutely VIP everywhere. It‘s not just about learning about the wine in Lanzarote. You can feel and hear how much love and passion Lola got for the nature, the animals and the citizen of Lanzarote. Dear Lola, we are happy that we met you and are thankful that you told us so much about you and your story. We hope that your dreams come true and we are sure, that we meet again. much love, your chicas Kristina & Kathrin
Lola was an outstanding guide for our day exploring Lanzarote from our Windstar Cruise, and truly one of the highlights of our entire trip. From the moment we met her, we felt like we were spending the day with a friend who was proud to share her island with us. She gave us a genuine look at Lanzarote from a local’s perspective, sharing stories of the history p that brought the incredible landscape to life. Driving through Timanfaya National Park was absolutely incredible — the dramatic volcanic scenery felt almost otherworldly, and Lola’s explanations made us appreciate the history behind it even more. Our visit to the vineyards in 5 different La Geria was exceptional. Learning about the unique wine-growing techniques — vines protected in volcanic ash and semicircular stone walls — gave us such admiration for the ingenuity and resilience of the people who produce these wines. For lunch, we stopped at a local tapas bar where Lola ordered a wonderful selection of house specialties for us. With the help of the owner, she selected a local white that perfectly complemented the meal. We never felt rushed. Lola allowed us to truly take in each moment and experience the island at a comfortable, pace. The breathtaking stop at the purple wildflower fields was the perfect finishing touch — a memory we will treasure for years to come. If you’re visiting Lanzarote and want more than just a tour — if you want a heartfelt, personal, and wonderful experience — we cannot recommend Lola highly enough.
A fantastic day sampling some great wines and food with an excellent host. Lola provided a great insight into the history and culture of Lanzarote that you wouldn't get anywhere else.
