Lanzarote Water Taxi: Puerto Del Carmen - Puerto Calero

We were welcomed on board by the friendly crew. The boat left on time both from Puerto del Carmen and Puerto Calero and the experience added to a very enjoyable day.

Great journey on boat . Calero gave us a shock ... Nothing there to mention no shops only a 4/5 but used to be loads more Dissapoinred to be honest....

Your Captain is very amusing and should really be on a comedy stage! It's a very nice way to access the area with a couple of weekly craft markets.

It was great. The captain was funny and had a good sense of humour. Stopped to let us see through the glass bottom boat! Worth every penny.

Friendly staff and easy to book! We booked last minute and really did finish off our Lanzarote experience just right! It was amazing to see Lanzarote from the sea and all the sea life too!

Great way to get from Peurto Calero to Peurto del Carmen. The boat has a glass bottom and they stopped so everyone could have a quick look. We got a one way ticket as was going to return in a taxi (car) but decided to buy a ticket through Viator and was so easy.

Fabulous journey today! Missed seeing the female captain who brings so much humour to the trip! Didn't stop off for the sea bed viewing today, but only half a dozen adults on the early boat. This trip is a must and I do it regularly as it’s good value for money. Also it’s interesting seeing all the beautiful boats and fish in the harbour. The restaurants are great too . Keep up the good work!

Very easy to book and find the boarding spot, tickets were a fair price, the journey was lovely and the staff on board were very friendly. Would definitely do this again.

The taxi never leaves on time. We enjoyed the experience of the water taxi from puerto Calero to puerto del Carmen but the taxi left extremely early. Thankfully we arrived to the taxi 15mins early at puerto Calero because it left straight away. We ended up missing the taxi back from puerto del carmen because it left 30mins earlier than it was supposed to. For the price we paid to have the experience we will not be doing it again.

This is a lovely experience. It is expensive for what it is but I imagine the costs of running a boat are high. The cost really is my only concern and of course this is down to what an individual considers value. The scenery on the route is lovely. I would recommend the water taxi in one direction and the coastal walk in the other (if this was possible for people) helpful staff and the boat itself was spotless.

This is a great experience. We were staying in Calero so got the taxi return to del Carmen. On the way there they even stopped so we could go down into the glass bottom part and we saw a sting ray. Would highly recommend for the experience and we didn’t think the price was too bad either

Was a good ride. Unfortunately the glass bottom was very dirty and couldn't see anything but comfortable seats on lower floor.

Lovely ferry trip from Puerto del Carmen old town to Puerto Calero. Very happy and friendly staff. The trip takes roughly 15 minutes and Puerto Calero is a lovely little harbour with bars, shops & restaurants. Well worth a visit.

Experience was very pleasant crew were great and overall nice experience. Easy to locate and service was very reliable and on time.

Was a good trip to do. The water bottomed parts of the boat provide a decent feature but not the main reason to go on this boat. It does do a short mid point stop (Carmen to Calero direction) and we did see some fish. Main point is being a taxi and does this well, particularly if you want a boat trip but not the more common 4 or 8 hour options which we thought were a bit too long to go on. Puerto del Calero is a beautiful place for a visit, lovely food and drink stops and quality marina area.

It’s a long walk along the quay, at the other end from where the market is, but very friendly crew and easy to get on and off. A nice trip back and a change from getting a taxi. Feels like a day out when you get a ferry!

Don't rely on this ferry for time we went for the 3 o clock,, not there . We got the 3.45 this left at 4.05 . Saying that ,, our ticket was for the 4.30 and no one said a word to us so all good but just don't rely on it time wise Sure you're on holiday 😁😁😁

Very helpful, and friendly, staff. Quick journey from PDC to Puerto Calero. Would highly recommend using the water bus for a visit to the beautiful Puerto Calero

Was advised depart & arrival at Puerto del Carmen but had to pay for a taxi €35 each way to get the boat at Olaya Blanca. Very disappointing.

A beautiful scenic route much better than other transport. Staff onboard very helpful and love the glass bottom where the boat stops for you to view under the water.

The Ferry was very clean and we had a pleasant 20 minute trip to Puerto Calero with a very nice crew 😊

We always do the cliff walk from Puerto Calero to Puerta Del Carmen - or vise versa and get the water taxi back . It’s a lovely day out and what’s not to love about a boat ride!

A great way to get to Puerto Calero from Puerto del Carman if you don't want to take the coastal path. Friendly staff see you safely onboard for the 20 minute trip along the coast, with the option of a return trip with the boat departing at circa hourly intervals.

Fantastic short trip to Peurto Calero Staff were very friendly & great fun Glass bottom boat was a nice feature also on this ferry, highly recommend

Great trip to Puerto Calero to the market on the trip back to puerto del carmen the staff stopped to boat and fed the fish with bread which was a great experience, all staff was really friendly. I would recommend this boat trip

Not a good experience the youngest of the 2 crew was rude and snatched our ticket from my wife’s hand when we boarded, you will see more bad reviews on this excursion by other people, the only time they smile is when they are rattling their tips box. If they worked for me they wouldn’t last the day out. Find a job that doesn’t mean socialising with the public.

Comfortable and enough to see. You get the water taxi at the gate 1 at the old town harbour. Staff very helpful.

We tried this after a friend recommended it. We had a lovely trip up the coast to Puerto Calero, the kids enjoyed seeing the fish through the glass bottom and we all enjoyed the views from the top deck. We had an hour in Puerto Calero, having had a Quick Look around and a coffee. This was a fun and leisurely way to spend a morning.

We hopped aboard the water taxi for return trips Puerto Calero to Puerto del Carmen. It was a relatively calm day, and the trip was fun. Return trip, they paused to feed the fish, and the boat being glass-bottomed, we were able to get good views of the marine life. Crew were good fun too!

Nice little trip to the next town along. Nice half day out. Highlight was. Boat stopping do we could go down to glass floor level to see below the water and the fish

It was a beautiful trip along the coastline to Calero. Not much choice of timings for the return journey though, and not too many in the morning either..

Lovely views, entertaining staff,glass bottom boat. We used the taxi on the way back from the market on the Tuesday. Get tickets online as they are priced better.

Great boat trip. Glass bottom boat & saw plenty of fish leaving the harbour, plenty of space on board & very friendly crew. Definitely recommend as a way to get to Puerto Calero from Puerto del Carmen & back

Nice ride, super view. Lasted about 20 mins, got to see the port at both ends. Staff all very friendly and polite, plenty of chairs. Got a cab back to PDC.
