Itinerary
El Golfo is famous for its bright green crater lake and black sand beaches, which are sprinkled with the beautiful green olivine stones. El Golfo is also one of the best places to eat seafood on Lanzarote.
We will take an easy walk inside the volcanic crater of ‘el cuervo’. During the walk you will be surrounded by impressive volcanic landscapes.
Los Hervideros; or translated the cooking pots is an impressive coastline where the waves crash against the black cliffs. Here we can take a stroll right along the coast
Jameos del Agua is a unique place, where nature and art perfectly come together. César Manrique transformed the debris of a volcanic tube into this masterpiece, connected by a small lake, inhabited by small blind crabs he made a restaurant, garden and auditorium.
Mirador Del Río is Lanzarote’s most spectacular viewing point, which offers panoramic views over the Risco de Famara, isla La Graciosa and the other isles of the chinijo archipelago national park.
Cueva de los Verdes is part of one of the longest volcanic tunnels on the planet, formed by volcano ‘la Corona’. On a guided walk you will visit 2 km of this tunnel, which is one of the most interesting volcanic structures on the island and holds a surprising secret
Lanzarote has a unique vine culture, with delicious wines. Drive through the region of La Geria, where you can see the vines growing on the side of the black volcanoes. We‘ll stop at one of the wineries, so you can see this from more up close. Make sure you try the Malvasia volcanica wine!
César Manrique‘s Cactus Garden is located in an old quarry and has the largest cactus plantation on the island. It features around 4,500 specimens of 450 different species, of 13 different families of cactus from the five continents.
For anyone fascinated with volcanoes the Timanfaya visitor centre is not to be missed. The centre has lots of information, facts and figures, not just about Lanzarote but general volcanology from around the world. The exhibition also includes a seismograph, meteosat and meteorological station and there are videos and interactive maps.
The Lagomar Museum, also known as the House of Omar Sharif, is a wonderful construction sheltered among the remains of an old quarry in the small town of Nazaret. The house, which was originally conceived by César Manrique and designed by artist Jesus Soto is a perfect combination of art and nature, with tunnels, caves and terraces. Each corner designed with beautiful detail.

Alejandro was a great guide and very helpful, he took us to the best spots and was flexible with pick up and drop off. Would recommend
The tour guide, was excellent, her knowledge of the island was wonderful, she made it for me. The bus driver was wonderful, he knew those roads very well, I felt very safe.
Lanzarote is a very dry, arid island. The tour was average; nothing extraordinary. Alejandro was courteous and professional. He would answer our questions but he will not provide a continuous narrative of the culture, geography, economy, etc.
Splendid day out! We really enjoyed the whole day! Collection and drop off were straightforward and on time. Guide was fun and helpful and provided insights at every stop. The caves were interesting and the views spectacular at each stop. Bus driver did a great job! Very pleased I wasn't driving especially on the part of the tour through the volcanic rock. Good value for money and would recommend to others. Saved time too, as didn't have to stand in line for any of the places we visited!
A really enjoyable and informative half day tour. Alejandro was an excellent guide, taking us to some fascinating parts of Lanzerote including a walk into El Cuervo volcano and the vineyards of La Geria. We appreciated his relaxed, friendly approach and he was great at answering all our questions. Would highly recommend.
Had the perfect day on this tour! Alejandro was so kind and patient with my family. We saw so much of the beautiful island without the stress of driving ourselves and we never felt rushed at all. Alejandro also took us to a dreamy restaurant by the beach for lunch - I could have happily sat there all day. Highly recommend this trip to everyone…I’ll be back!
Excellent tour! Would highly recommend. Very prompt pick up by Alejandro, comfortable vehicle and very personable guide with great taste in music! We were able to go to all the spots we wanted to and take our time exploring. Bonus points to Alejandro for taking us to amazing lunch spot and lesser known bodega with no crowds and delicious wine.
Great tour - such a pretty island and so much to see! Tour guide was really great - really knowledgeable and super helpful - great tour abd great guide
Great trip - really enjoyed the whole day - really comfortable trip and so much to see!lots of good information along the way and really leisurely we never felt rushed 👍 top tour guide!!
Great scenery; it was worth it having a private car. We never felt unsafe (due to possible COVID issues), and we were never rushed through any of the tour.
Our guide was Alejandro and he took us to all of the top spots of interest and explained everything, as we went along. This tour was excellent and we could not have asked for a better guide. Thank-you.
Alejandro was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and incredibly giving with his time. Timanfaya National Park was incredibly busy (and amazing to hear about), on the South Island tour we chose, we managed to see everything with expert commentary (and fab music for the journey!) Thanks Alejandro!!
We had a great day. Lanzarote is a beautiful island. Alejandro was excellent! Having grown up on Lanzarote, his knowledge was extensive. Timanfaya is stunning. My only disappointment being that they do not allow you out of the bus to take any photos during the National park tour. But Alejandro was very accommodating and took us to a part of the park where you can walk around and experience the landscape first hand. I would highly recommend this tour.
We had a very comfortabel and entertaining tour with Alejandros. The big advantage of a private tour is that you can create your own programme, as long as it is realistic. And on top of that, you have great flexibiliteit. When you are with a group up to 7 people it also might be cheaper than booking an organized tour for all the groupmembers. Alejandro knows a lot to tell about Lanzarote and he dos so on an enthousiastic manner. We had a great day! Thanks Alejandros!
My parents and I really loved this tour. Our guide was Alejandro, he made us discover Lanzarote and explained us the island history perfectly. He was really nice and had good vibes ! We’ve been able to organize the day at our convenience and to choose the spots we wanted to see. I really recommend this tour, especially if you have a little time to discover Lanzarote !
Alejandro was brilliant, we packed I'm loads during a half day tour of the south of the island. Would recommend him 100%
One of the best if not the best tours in my life! My tour was in the beginning of June 2021. I had only few days in Lanzarote and was searching tour to see most beautiful places in the island and also to make some photos. I was reading very nice comments about this tour and choose this tour on the first day of my trip. But I could not even expect more than what I got. My guide was Alexandro and he is great as a guide and as a person. He answer all of my questions about life in the Lanzarote, history, fauna and flora and much more. It is great to meet guide who loves place what he is showing. Driving was safe and we were on time. The communication with company is very good. Pickup is on time. E-mail communication very well organized. This tour is suitable for solo and family travelers. Cars are comfortable and big enough to take a tour with a whole family. 100% recommend this tour for everyone who will visit Lanzarote.
Amazing tour! Alejandro has been very explanatory and adjusted great my requested plan. There was also great flexibility as I asked to make some additions on a very short notice. Great way to see all important spots in a duly customized way, meeting entirely own preferred itinerary, in a relaxing and comfortable manner and at own ease. Strongly recommended!!!
Our multi generational family met Alejandro at our hotel exactly at the time confirmed. Very comfortable mini bus and an excellent driver. Alejandro was very well informed and was able to give us lots of interesting information. The volcano park amazed us all even the youngsters - as did the camel ride! We continued with a tour off the south of the island. Always with details provided by Alejandro. He tailored the trip for our family to perfection. Highly recommended.
Fantastic half-day tour with Alejandro visiting Lanzarote for the first time. We had a really comfortable ride visiting the main spots in the south of the island. Lanzarote is beautiful and having a local guide that put together the best route to make the most of our short time there was just perfect. Highly recommended!
Iris showed us the most beautiful places of Lanzarote. She was very friendly, well informed and passionate about the island. It was a coincidence, but it was nice to have a Dutch speaking guide as we are from the Netherlands. Thanks Iris for taking us to all these special places!
We had a great day with Alejandro! He helped us design an itinerary to see the best of the island, and was a really relaxed and easygoing driver. He gave us information about the places we’d visited, but also plenty of time and freedom to enjoy them as a couple, which was perfect for us! A fantastic option if you’d like to enjoy some of Lanzarote’s best spots without hiring a car!
Alejandro was our guide, he was very friendly and informative. Made us feel very welcome. We had a half day tour of the south and he explained any questions we had. It was a fantastic day. Highly recommended to anyone interested in seeing some fantastic sights.
CRAZY tour, Alexandro take the time to explain us everything, If you going to lanzarote from the north to the south and you need a car and a superb guide, You are in the best places Thank you again, It was amazing
We had a great time. Alejandro managed to adapt to our wishes while offering us a perfect organization for this day spent together. The seaside fisherman restaurant in Arietta was a very nice surprise, thank you again! Julie
In early May 2021 we hired a two-day private tour with Alejandro Leal on the island of Lanzarote. The first thing I have to say is that your willingness was magnificent from the beginning. We received the quote in a few hours (an excellent price, by the way) with a very complete and detailed planning. We toured all the sights and Alejandro gave us very interesting details of the island. The organization of the route each day was perfectly adjusted to make the most of the time and to enjoy the wonders that Lanzarote offers. Undoubtedly opting for a private tour was the best option and choosing Alejandro the best decision. I recommend that you contact him if you want your tour to be the most complete and interesting. Thanks Alejandro!!
Actually, we went from one surprise to another all day long! National parc Timanfaya tour was overwhelming! Everything around Cesar Manrique was beautiful. In short, don't hesitate and just do it! Also the guides Alejandro and Iris (Dutch) were super good! Friendly, friendly and lots of useful info. Recommended!
