Lanzarote : Papagayo With Navigation License (Quicksilver 580)

Absolutely fantastic experience the staff, boat and service were outstanding. The only thing that I would advise is to be very careful when heading back into the harbour. This was my own fault for not paying enough attention but when heading back past the harbour wall I was not at full speed and was passed by a larger vessel resulting in the wake of the other boat to cause water to come over the front of our boat and give us a fright and some soggy clothes 🥴 No harm or damage was caused but it did shake myself and family up. Overall I would highly recommend this trip and company 👍🏼

What a great experience, we called the number displayed on the boat via WhatsApp and the team member came over within a few minutes. He offered us a great price and he promised us with all the information we needed. The boat was easy to navigate and we had the best time ever! On return the team member was very friendly and helpful. Well recommended!!!

This was my first time driving a boat without an instructor and I was rather nervous about it but once you get going it’s awesome couldn’t have been any easier. The water was crystal clear almost every we went saw some amazing colourful fish even saw a massive string ray where we hired the boat from. Overall would definitely recommend doing it again fun easy and nice having a boat to yourself and to be in charge of where to go and when to go.🫡

Our boat trip with the Quicksilver 580 from Climar Boat Rentals was awesome! We saw dozens of dolphins, some flying fish, and were able to go snorkeling near Papagayo beach. Matt, who welcomed us, was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend them!

Amazing experience - Roberto & Abbie were super attentive and really nice. We had food provided and the group was mix of dietary and they catered plenty of Spanish food for everyone. Very easy booking process and pick up / drop off was provided. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful experience! The private boat tour felt so special and even though the weather made the ride a bit bumpy we now have a wonderful memory we got to share with our family! Also with a wonderful captain that also gave us the option to listen to music making the e experience incredible.

Despite the temperamental weather, we had an amazing afternoon on the water. Matt, an absolute joker and great guy, gave us excellent instructions and we set off from Puerto Calero following the coast to Playa Quemada. We anchored there and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon. The boat was well-maintained and had Bluetooth syncing for music. The bimini cover provided plenty of shade when it got too hot. I highly recommend bringing your own collapsible cooler or buying one at the marina’s grocery store. Filled with ice, drinks and food, we never went hungry or thirsty. Unfortunately, not having a boat licence meant we were only allowed the 15hp runabout. There is a 175hp boat for rent that would give you more room for lounging and a bit more oomph because of the winds, so take that into consideration but don’t let it deter you from experiencing Lanzarote from the sea.

this was an AMAZING EXPIERENCE!! i went with my boyfriend. we went on a two hour boat trip without lisence. a special shout out to the staff in particular matthew, he gave us clear instructions and was very lovely to speak to. WE DO RECOMMEND

Capt Roberto Gonzalez was amazing for our trip. We had a little bit of different ask for our day, and he was wildly helpful and accommodating to our every need. He was super responsive and an overall excellent boat captain. Highly recommend!

We have rented the Quicksilver 580 in Dezember and it was truelly amazing experience. I had to get used to the Suzuki engine especially starting it. So listening carefully to instructions on starting the engine ;) Matt from Climar Boat Rentals was really friendly and forthcoming. It was a pleasure to work with him. It was really great expericence for me and my girlfriend cruising on the coast of Lanzarote. So I can highly recommended them.

Roberto really has a very well maintained and technically flawless boat with a lot of power (175 HP !!!) We had a very nice time and lots of fun. The price was absolutely reasonable for the boat. Thanks for everything.

We rented the Quicksilver 580 open 2 times during our holiday in Lanzarote for 4 hours each. I have not seen Port of Puerto Calero a better maintained or better motorized boat in this class. Renting a car is easy and reliable online. Owner Roberto and his "crew" can always be reached via WhatsApp or by phone. Even with a small, self-inflicted starting problem with the engine we were helped within about 10min. 2 people came by jet ski and restarted the engine 👍. The boat itself is in almost mint condition and the engine delivers decent "steam" for plenty of fun on the waves😁. For mooring on the buoys is a boat hook on board which simplifies matters significantly. On request we were given a route into the Simrad (GPS). Is actually not necessary as navigation is very easy, but it helps to detect existing shallows (eg near Playa Papagayo). All in all a cool pleasure boat at a fair price🤗 I would charter with Roberto again at any time. Everything top👍👍

Fantastic experience renting this boat in Lanzarote with the family. The boat is very well equipped, comfortable and cared for. We had a spectacular day, enjoying the sea and having a great time together. Highly recommended, we would repeat without thinking.
