Igor is fantastically knowledgeable and passionate. This was my first time learning about and trying wines from grapes native to the Canary Islands such as negramoll and listán blanco. Igor curates a really well balanced selection of wines from producers he has met personally such as Victoria Torres and as such can provide a really comprehensive introduction to each wine which makes for a really special experience. My friends and I decided to try out some La Palma wines whilst on holidays, and came across this wine tasting. What a fun experience! We sampled amazing wines, from a local female wine producer Victoria Torres and learnt so much from the very knowledgeable sommelier Igor. We also had some tasty nibbles to compliment the wine. I really recommend checking out these wine tastings.

If you want to know more about wine and La Palma wine in general, you definitely want to do tasting with Igor. He will give you a great intro to wines produced in La Palma, how they are made and why they are different from each other. He will give you are peak into local snacks that goes well with wine. And it all takes place right on the Santa Cruz seaside with a great view of the sea and the neighbouring islands.

The tasting felt very personal, with detailed explanations and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The volcanic wines were truly unique, and the panoramic view made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone, even if you visit alone

I’ve attended one of Vingelist tastings recently and was very surprised by the “home-like atmosphere” there even if there were some people who I’ve met for the first time in my life. I guess those kinds of small tastings attract likeminded people who want not just a beverage but to learn and try something new. Good factual knowledge, interesting wines selection (not like any I’ve ever tasted before) and also ability to share the story with others. Really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend to others. I’ve attended one of Igor’s wine tastings recently. Reserved through his Instagram page while experience is also available at different resales. Great introduction to La Plama wines and also a professional introduction to wine tasting in general which allowed an ordinary consumer like myself to learn more about wine in the language that I could easily understand and follow. Very good wines selection and the use of Coravin was also a bonus. Some small snacks matched very well with the wines I’ve got to taste.

Igor is a professional sommelier who lives in Santa Cruz on La Palma Island. He met us near the liner, took us for a walk around the city, showed us the best places to swim and buy local produce and gave us a very interesting tasting of local wines with properly selected snacks from local produce. It was a great day.
