Lovely guides, really engaging and cheerful. Excellent equipment and instruction. A paddle for 1/2 hour along cliffs past some caves to a rather scruffy beach populated by naturists and filled with camping and cooking equipment. Snorkel for an hour (nothing much to see) then back to pickup spot. Overall a bit “meh” but a cheerful group and a fun distraction if your bored of lying in the sun.

We will start the excursion in Playa de Taurito. From this quiet beach we will start the kayak tour (the ocean kayaks are very safe and no experience is necessary, the guide will explain you how to handle it by yourself although you will always be with him). We will move along the impressive white cliffs and learn about the geology of the island. We will go inside the volcanic caves with the kayak. For adventure lovers, we can also jump from the cliffs into the ocean. We will disembark on another unspoilt beach, take a rest, and practice some beachcombing, paddle boarding, snorkelling, etc. We will give you the snorkelling equipment. - Be in a healthy physical condition - Know how to swim -Be able to carry the kayak 50 metre

A really fun and well organised kayak tour. We kayaked about 30-40 mins to a nearby beach, stopped there for an hour and had a swim and snorkel in the sea, then kayaked back via some caves. Unfortunately the waves and swells were too big and dangerous during our trip to go into multiple caves, but we went into one and it was great. Instructors were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. You get a dry bag you can put stuff in to take with you which was helpful. Would recommend!
Excellent little tour, not massive distances but great stop for snorkelling on secluded beach and some little forays into some caves, good friendly and informative guides, would definitely recommend for older kids and adults.
We thoroughly enjoyed this excursion well worth the experience
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING and, in my experience, nothing like the activity I thought I had booked. I specifically booked this because it is advertised as “Kayak & Snorkeling Tour in Caves in Gran Canaria.” The booking itself also described it as “Kayak in caves and beaches.” Caves—not cave. I travelled all the way from Las Palmas, spent roughly €30 on transport and around €70 on accommodation specifically so I could do this excursion. The caves were the entire reason I chose it. What did we actually get? We went a very short distance into ONE cave, stayed there for what felt like about two minutes, and came straight back out. There was no meaningful cave exploration whatsoever. As for the advertised snorkelling, the guide advised us that we could snorkel if we wanted to, but that the conditions were so bad we wouldn’t actually be able to see anything. Unsurprisingly, we chose not to get into the water to “snorkel” when the guide had effectively told us there was nothing to see. Instead, an enormous proportion of the excursion was simply paddling. By the end our arms were so exhausted that it affected what we were able to do afterwards on our holiday. Had this been advertised to me as a strenuous kayaking excursion with a very brief visit to the entrance of one cave and a beach stop, I would never have booked it. The guides themselves were friendly, and I want to make that absolutely clear. My complaint is not about them personally. My problem is with how the experience was sold and how the company handled the situation afterwards. When I complained, the company actually confirmed to me in writing that under normal conditions they usually visit THREE caves, but that conditions that day meant the guides considered the other caves unsafe to access. That is precisely my problem. If two of the three caves cannot safely be visited, and conditions are also poor enough that the advertised snorkelling is effectively not worthwhile, customers should be told before setting off and given the opportunity to reschedule or cancel. Instead, we weren’t given that choice. The company decided that because it was still safe to kayak, enough of the activity remained to proceed. But I didn’t travel across Gran Canaria and pay for accommodation because I desperately wanted several hours of paddling. I booked a “Kayak & Snorkeling Tour in Caves.” Their response regarding the snorkelling was particularly frustrating. They told me that nobody actually prevented us from snorkelling: the conditions simply “were not ideal” and therefore not doing it was our choice. Technically, perhaps. But when your own guides indicate that conditions are so poor that attempting the advertised activity is essentially pointless, presenting the customer’s decision not to do it as simply their “choice” completely misses the point. I initially asked for only a 50% refund, which I thought was a very reasonable compromise considering that major advertised elements of the excursion weren’t delivered as expected. Their response was to offer me 25% as a goodwill refund. For our £74.60 booking, that amounted to roughly £19. After travelling from Las Palmas, paying for buses and accommodation specifically for this excursion, and discovering on the water that two of the three caves the company itself says it normally visits couldn’t safely be entered, that offer honestly felt insulting rather than conciliatory. What makes this particularly difficult to accept is that this wasn’t a situation where the entire excursion suddenly became impossible. The company says the guides knew the conditions were unsuitable for accessing two caves but suitable for kayaking. In other words, they knew during the excursion that a substantial part of what attracted us to the tour wasn’t going to happen. Safety absolutely comes first. I would NEVER expect a guide to enter a cave they considered unsafe. But safety isn’t an excuse for poor communication. If conditions mean the advertised experience has to be substantially changed, tell customers and give them a choice. Don’t simply replace the missing parts with considerably more kayaking and afterwards argue that technically the excursion still went ahead. The company eventually told me they considered the matter closed and would no longer communicate about it. So here is my experience for prospective customers instead: If you’re booking this specifically because you want to explore caves and snorkel, be aware that you may end up doing neither in any meaningful sense, while the excursion still proceeds because conditions remain suitable for kayaking. Had somebody explained that possibility clearly to me beforehand—or simply said that morning, “Unfortunately we can only safely access one of the three caves today and snorkelling conditions are poor; would you like to continue, reschedule or cancel?”—I would have had absolutely no complaint. Instead, I spent a substantial amount of money getting there for an experience whose main attractions, from my perspective, largely didn’t happen, and was then offered approximately £19 back. The guides were nice. The beach was nice. But the experience I received was absolutely not worth the journey, accommodation, money or physical effort, and the company’s handling of a perfectly reasonable complaint made the whole thing significantly worse. I wish I had spent the day—and my money—elsewhere.
Very nice tour and very nice guides. Good kayaks, good group size and it was nice to go in the caves. We saw a several fish during snorkeling. Snack was a fitness bar, could have been something else.
Myself and my daughter attended the guided kayaking tour on 1st August. If you are wanting to do something slightly different whilst in Gran Canaria, I can’t recommend this enough. Thanks Guides!!
The old snorkeling masks spoiled the impression a bit; it was difficult to see the fish through them.
Very well led trip to caves and beach for snorkelling. The instructions and information on fish we saw were well done in English and Spanish.
A fantastic and varied experience! Absolutely worth the money
Danny and Saul were great. Very patient and organised. We had a great time.
A wonderful day out in the sea with great guides and a nice company of people. Overall, perfectly organised and a very special experience that we would have never dared to do on our own. Thank you!
Great activity definitely worth the money. Well organised, guides where helpful and encouraging , very patient 👍 Physical strength 💪🏻 required.
The activity was great ! From the stunning views of the cliffs, the snorkeling to see bench of fishes and the swimming inside the caves ! The guides are very kind and explains a lot about the visited sites. I really recommend them, you won't regret !
We had a great trip; the guides were friendly, kind, helpful and worked really hard to ensure everyone had fun. We were all adults and had all been kayaking before so the kayaking was fun. The sea was quite choppy so that added to the fun but meant the snorkeling was disappointing due to the poor visibility but playing in the surf was great. Most of us tried the jumping and enjoyed it but there was no pressure if jumping is not for you. For me the accessible part of the cave was a bit shorter than I expected but the roaring water further in made it exciting. Overall a great experience, great value compared to other excursions and all 5 of us would highly recommend.
great time spent, although physically demanding but definitely worth it. "D" and Arianna were the best as guardians and guides. No need to think, just book and enjoy.
My daughter and I had the best time. What a laugh but it was hard going. I’m nearly 60 and haven’t been in a kayak since my early twenties so if I can do it anyone can. Definitely booking next time we are in Gran Canaria.
My partner and I had the best time. Mani and Ari are fantastic guides who were prepared for all activities, very professional and just wonderful people to spend the day with. They are very knowledgeable about the area and all activities, we felt extremely comfortable navigating the waters and caves with their guidance. We were able to try some activities for the first time, and had so much more fun than we thought possible. Thanks to Mani and Ari for the memories! :)
A very nice activity. Very professional staff. Nothing was lacking. Magnificent landscapes, clear and warm water. While snorkeling I saw a lot of fish, for which I also received a lot of information so I could identify them. An activity that I recommend. The sure "negative" point: the time passed much too quickly
I joined this trip as a solo traveller, all instructors were friendly and welcoming. Meeting point was easy to find. Great value for money, 4 hour trip starting with exploring the caves in a kayak, to cliff diving then going to a secluded beach area to snorkel with the fish. Games were provided to play on the beach as well as a drink and snack. The instructor D talked about some of the history as we explored and always ensuring everyone's safety. Overall, it was an incredible experience and one I will not forget. I would highly recommend this trip to people on their own as well as couples, families and groups of friends.
Had a lot of fun on this unique experience! I went by myself and joined someone in the two person kayak. The guides were very knowledgeable and had ab fijn sense of humor
Nestor was very very informative, made sure everyone was safe, and didn't let anyone get left behind, we had an amazing experience for sure! Beautiful sites and beautiful sea! You get your photos taken during your time out at sea, get to play ball at the beach stop off, couldn't fault it!
Very nice activity and experience. They provided us with all the kayaking necessities. They took us to nice caves. Very friendly and well informative guides.
Friendly guides, nice tour. Enough time for a break with some provided drinks and snack. Waves were challenging to get from the beach on the kayak into the sea.
An amazing experience, a great way to explore the south coast of Gran Canaria and see all of it's scenery. Manuel was a fantastic guide, catering for all abilities/levels of experience. The kayaking, snorkeling, swimming and cliff jumping were all great fun. Well recommend if you're in Gran Canaria ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It was very nice, the guide Manuel was very nice. We got time to jump of the rocks, chill on the beach, play some games and visited caves
The views were amazing, and the experience going through the caves and jumping off the cliffside were super fun. I was slightly disappointed by the style of kayak as these aren't sea kayaks but more made for lakes,so made for a choppy and more streneous paddle! Nonetheless it was super fun and a great experience. Unfortunate that travel isn't included in the ticket as its a wee bit out of the way of maspalomas, will cost you a 30-40 euro in taxis roughly.
Not a serious handler, changed time and place without prior notice. Trip Advisor should not promote such unserious actors.
This kayak and snorkelling trip was fantastic. Our guides Manuel and Jerome were lovely & looked after us well. Loads of beach games & snorkel equipment to play with. The caves were great too & some diving into the sea for the brave ones!
Well worth it! Upon arrival at the Bay, it was really easy to spot the Yukan Guides. Per kayak, you get a pretty big Waterproof bag as well as a sealable tub in which you can place your phone or other electronics if you really want to take them with you. After attaching all these items, we started off warming up our muscles by carrying our kayaks a couple hundred meters to the water, where adventure was waiting for us! We booked the morning slot, because the waves pick up as it gets later in the day, and there are also more boats and water activities which disturb the water and could make the kayaking a bit more tiring. It was incredible, we had the entire coastline to ourselves, and amazing views of the cliffs. Along the way to a nice snorkeling beach, Playa de Tiritaña, we stopped near some rocky parts and had the choice to do a mini-cliff dive if you wanted to. For those who didn't want to make the higher jump, there was also a low jump available 😉 We had ample time to snorkel and swim around a bit until the tide got low enough for us to make a visit to some caves on the way back to Puerto de Mogán! I highly recommend this activity! After that, sticking around the streets of Mogán is a fun and beautiful way to continue the day!
This was such an amazing experience! Was able to get a reservation last minute and had a blast launching our kayaks out of Mogán and cliff diving, snorkeling with tons of colorful fish, exploring a secluded beach and of course navigating the magical caves!! Tour guides were fun and did a great job!
We enjoyed the trip, especially going through the cave. It was going to visit a quiet beach away from all the crowds. I liked the views as we kayaked.
Going through the cave in a kayak was a fun challenge. It was great to escape the crowds and be on the water. We enjoyed visiting a quieter, more natural beach.
Great combo of snorkeling and kayaking, just the right amount of both activities. Caves were not so sensational but nice addition to the kayaking. Friendly and nice guide 👌🏼
Great experience. Yukan was a kind and friendly guy. Cave and Kayak was a great idea in Grand Ganary. We didn't had this experience before.
I had a terrible experience today. First of all they changed the venue of the activity from Mogán area to Taurito, which proved to be a bad idea. The sea was agitated and the caves were in a rocky area so we couldn’t go inside. Even though, it was clear that it was dangerous to go inside the caves the guide did not measure the risk and subsequently I had an accident with the kayak which turned upside down in the rocky area of the caves at the entrance . I got injured in the forehead and hence did not complete the activity . Such a disappointing experience!
Very good, The guide was very friendly and helpful. It was a beautiful tour and during the snorkeling I saw more fishes than expected!
Great instructors with a lot of local knowledge. Had a lot of fun and experienced a different side of the island than would have alone
Instructors were very nice and helpful, great way to see the coast. As a beginner I struggled at times to keep up but they always waited for us. Can be hard on your wrists though.
Everything went perfect. Altough we could not book the trip directly on tripAdviser due to the fact that we decided very short notice to take part in the activity. Youkon was very helpfull and assitet us trough the whole process. All the information for the trip was well delivered and confortable. The trip itsfe was a blast. Our guide was very friendly, expriencd and yet very relaxed, exactly what we expected. Due to bad wether ( high waves ) we could not enter the caves and land on the shore of the beach, but it is perfectly understandable and we did not want to take any risks. We got a partial refund due to the incompleteness of the tour. I do not see it as a necesity i have to admitt i think it is very fair game from the company. The whole experience was just plesant and well organizes. Would recomand it wo expperienced and beginner kaykers. Thank you for your service.
Lovely paddle up the coast to a hard-to-reach beach, popping into a sea cave on the way. It is hard work though - we had a fit 65+ chap in our group who found it too hard.
This was a disappointing trip, the guide was a nice guy and did his best but we just kayaked to a beach where we were supposed to snorkel but it was not really possible to snorkel and all we saw was a dead fish. We all stood about on the beach for 40 minutes with nothing to do and then kayaked back stopping at a cave briefly. We then arrived back at the beach half an hour early, having left half an hour late. The whole experience was less than 2 hours not 3 and the snack was a cheap cereal bar and a can of lemonade. Definitely not the experience advertised - the advert is misleading and it was expensive - we could have just hired a kayak on the beach and had a better experience.
Kayaking experience I would recommend this adventure. It's a great, fun experience. There was three of us, and we really enjoyed it. Things to consider. I would say you need to have a moderate to high fitness level. Kayaking isn't easy, especially on the sea. Do a bit of research around this activity. When we done this there was limited information on the activity itself, what to expect, where to go... ... and meet, where we would be travelling to on the sea. feedback Meeting point address. C. Rivera del Carmen, 3, 35139 Lomo Quiebre, Las Palmas, Spain. This was wrong. This isn't where you meet the group and set out. Other instructions were. Address Meet in the kayak area of Mogán beach. Look for a guide with a YUKAN company uniform. When we arrived we couldn't see them and nobody knew of them. It was badly arranged. A clear meeting point I.e Fund Grube shop would be better. They wasn't at the meeting point documented, leaving al 12 people confused and looking around for them. Written 25-09-2022
The Best trip ever! We recommend to everyone. Beautiful places and a lot of fun. Amazing and active time
Fantastic kayaking experience. Get to explore the caves by kayaking and swimming in them. Great snorkelling experience on a secluded beach. Great size group not too many. With a great tour guide who makes the experience extremely fun with a great bit of humor. Would definitely go again.
Nice experience, kind guide, lovely snorkeling spot and other adventures during the trip. Very recommendable. Thanks!
It was really fun but the swimming was a bit to much for me because I got really tired because of that but the caves were beautiful
We had a very comfortable and nice guide who took us to a beach and into two caves. Due to the huge waves we could not swim in the cages, but is was gorgeous nonetheless!
It was alot of fun. Manuel is very helpful and kind. Did not realize how 3 hours passed by. We did alot of activities, never got bored for a second. They also took our pictures from their camera so we don't have to stress about that hahaha. The guides were not too restrictive they let us do our thing. But guided us when we wanted help.
Great fun guides, made sure we all really enjoyed ourselves. We had a younger child with us who had never kayaked before, they were extra helpful and ensured that she had fun and enjoyed the experience
