It was great seeing the national park, unfortunately due to weather the cable car was not operating but that can't be helped. The guide was very knowledgeable.

Itinerary
We start the route to Teide National Park with a stop in Vilaflor, the highest municipality in Spain. You will discover a town with a special charm, surrounded by centuries-old pine forests and with a fresh mountain air very different from the coast. Take these minutes to have a coffee, stretch your legs, and take the first photos before venturing into the volcanic landscape that awaits you.
We arrived at the Roques de García, in the heart of the Teide Plateaus, a site declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here you will walk among lava flows and rock formations that look like they are from another planet, inside a gigantic volcanic caldera about 17 km in diameter on which the Teide Peak rises, with a summit of 3,718 meters, the highest in Spain and the third highest volcano in the world. The contrast of colors and landscapes will leave you speechless, with plenty of time to stroll and take unforgettable photographs. This stop, along with the cable car, has a duration of between 90 and 120 minutes.
We then head to the Teide Cable Car station, the highest in Spain, which allows you to optionally ascend almost to the summit of the most emblematic volcano in the Canary Islands. Teide is the most famous natural monument of the archipelago and one of the most spectacular experiences that can be had in Tenerife, with views on clear days reaching other islands. The cable car ride is optional and not included in the tour price, so if you want to experience this extra, we recommend booking it in advance.
Enjoy privileged views of the Teide Volcano from the Telesforo Bravo Visitor Center, a magnificent viewpoint to contemplate the grandeur of this volcano up close, a symbol of the Canary Islands and a UNESCO World Heritage site. A perfect moment to take the best photographs of the day.
Starting point of the ascent on the Teide Cable Car, the highest cable car in Spain, which in a few minutes takes you to almost the summit of the country's highest volcano and the third highest volcano in the world, with incomparable views of the entire archipelago. This ascent is optional and is not included in the tour price, so if you want to experience it, we recommend booking it in advance.
To end the excursion, we descend the west slope of the island crossing the town of Chío, between the municipality of Santiago del Teide and the coast. A quiet tour with new volcanic landscapes before returning to your accommodation with the best memories of an unforgettable day in Teide.

Make sure to pre book tickets to use the cable car up to Mount Teide. We didn’t and were unable to use the facility.
We are currently on the bus for the Teide excursion and would like to express our great disappointment regarding the way this service was sold to us. When we purchased the excursion, your salesperson presented it to us as a simple round trip to Teide with the cable car, telling us that it would only take the morning. At no point were we informed that it was actually a full tour of Teide, an excursion we had already done before by buggy. We were also never informed that a meal was included, nor were we told about the possibility of the cable car being closed or cancelled due to weather conditions. We paid €160 for two people, which we already considered quite expensive for what we believed was simply a return bus journey with a cable car ride. We are now discovering that the service we were sold is completely different from what was presented to us. The most problematic part is that we had already booked and paid for a boat excursion this afternoon, which we will now be unable to attend because the Teide excursion actually lasts the entire day.
A fantastic day, you travel by coach with several stops as you uncover the wonder of the Teide National Park, the views are amazing.. The Onboard guid Laura was very knowledgable and conversed in multiple languages.. The Optional Cable Car ascent up to the top is a must do as the views are even better.. 10 out of 10.
Coach trip up to Teide National park and volcano. Tour guide Enrique with driver Miguel were amazing. Enrique was funny charming and knowledgeable and gave a nearly non stop guided tour for the whole trip, continually mixing from Spanish to Italian to English and sometimes even German. I think the best tour guide I have come across in a very long time. National park and volcano were quite literally like another planet, no wonder they tested the Mars rover there. The cable car up was good and at the top there was snow but it wasn’t that cold with the hot sunshine. Only needed a thin jumper. Stars of the day were Enrique with excellent driving from Miguel. Would highly recommend.
Went on a tour of Tiede and Masca with my mother who is a little disabled (difficult to walk for her). We went with Laura (guide) and Jose (driver). The tour was fantastic. I really enjoyed every minute of the day. The value for money was fabulous. This tour made my holiday and my mum as well. Jose was an amazing driver and Laura a very well rounded tour guide with lost of interesting data about the island. They were very helpful for my mum as soon as they realized she couldn't easily manage all the walking at the stop offs. I found Laura to be kind and friendly and very helpful and Jose was funny and a skilled driver considering the winding mountain roads with only space for one vehicle and lots of oncoming traffic. I'm certainly glad I wasn't driving!
We had a wonderful day yesterday visiting Teide National Park and coastal towns. Our guide Hector Rodriguez was amazing, knowledgeable, interesting and caring of tourists. Driver Miguel was very safe and careful driving dangerous mountain road’s. It was a great trip for us! Steven and Irina
We had a wonderful experience on the Teide Park tour, thanks to our amazing guide, Laura. She explained everything clearly, shared so much interesting information, and was incredibly helpful throughout the day. Her pleasant and friendly nature made the entire tour even more enjoyable. The tour itself was fantastic. We started with a comfortable pickup by bus and made our way up to Teide National Park, with a brief stop in Vilaflor before exploring the stunning landscapes of the park. From there, we continued to the town of Icod, where we saw the impressive Drago Milenario — a true symbol of the Canary Islands. Our journey along the north coast took us to the charming town of Garachico, and later to the village of Masca, where the deep ravines and unique scenery were absolutely breathtaking. Finally, we made our way back to our hotel, feeling enriched by everything we had seen and learned. Laura’s guiding truly elevated the experience, and we are grateful for her knowledge, kindness, and professionalism. We highly recommend her to anyone considering this tour!
The whole tour was smooth and fun. Our tour guide Enrique is witty and knowledgable. Showed us great photo spots too! Not to forget our bus driver, Miguel, who is also amazing. Great tour, highly recommend
I gave 5 stars to the guide Laura, who told us all the way about both the Teide National Park and Tenerife in general. A special mention also to the driver, Adrian, who made us feel safe.
Laura the tour guide was very knowledgeable about the whole of Tenerife and in particular Mount Teide National Park. Laura was also very friendly, as was the driver. I’d highly recommend!
Great trip. The guide, Laura, was very knowledgeable and interesting. Great driver. Really stunning views, definitely recommend
Have just had an amazing 8 hour trip around the island. (Dec 26th 2024.) Our guide Barbara was so knowledgeable . Everything was so interesting. Can highly recommend this trip. The coach driver was amazing. The roads are very narrow and winding. He did an excellent job. Coffee stops were great. The only downside was the restaurant at lunchtime. The owner/ manager was so rude and arrogant to a table in our group. The staff were also very abrupt. It was a 3 course meal for 17 euros but it wasn't anything special and you were very rushed as only had an hour to eat. May I please suggest you change the restaurant for people to eat. None of our tables left a tip due to the rudeness of the owner. If your going on this trip have lunch in another restaurant. There are plenty to choose from and look much nicer. I'm sure you will be much better looked after.
The trip had problems but generally it was a good day out. They picked us up from a hotel close to where we were staying, the tour guide lady and the driver, Miguel, were great (highlights of the tour really). Straight away we were asked if we had booked to go up in the cable cars, there was NO option for this when I booked the tour so I assumed this was something we paid for on the day if we wanted to go up in the cable cars, turns out it was an error on the site or something so we couldn’t go up in the cable cars. This was super disappointing because I did really want to do that. Felt a shame to get so close to the top but not be able to go all the way up! The main thing I had an issue with was how little time they gave us at each stop! I chose this tour bc it said we get 1.5 hours at each stop, you DONT! because we couldn’t do the cable cars the Roques de García was the kind of main stop for us, and we had 40 mins there, which felt super rushed, my friend and I managed to take a few photos of each other and that was about it, we had to rush back to the bus. We had lunch while the others did the cable car, which was really nice, great views, but again felt like we had to eat and pay and pee quickly to get back to the bus lol. all in all, very long day out, fun, I dont regret going, but a little disappointing. Also not the fault of the tour, but a lot of passengers were coughing and spluttering the whole journey, which was hard to be sat amongst for so long :’)
Fantastic tour of the spectacular Teide National Park including cable car ride. Our tour started with a very prompt pickup directly from our hotel by our Tenerife-born guide Enrique and bus driver Adrian. As the trip progressed we picked up more passengers and Enrique's excellent English commentary was now added to with Italian as well as his native Spanish. His commentary included history, geography and geology of this fascinating region delivered with great humour in every language. There were well-spaced comfort stops and full information about time we had to be back at the bus. The cable car ride to the Teide summit was spectacular but the trails at the top were more rugged than we expected - hiking boots would have been a wiser footwear choice. We were blessed with perfect weather and the views were spectacular at every turn. Highly recommended tour with a super guide and very safe driver. Five stars .... Six if we could!
Very nice tour and experimented guide, had a great time and learned a lot about volacanoes, local fauna and flora
Luara was very warm and welcoming to the whole tour group. Luara is bilingual which accommodated to the non speaking english on the tour. Very informative about the history and landscape of Teide. Overall would thoroughly recommend to anyone to use this group and Luara.
Our 2 companions, hi Galaxy riosh and Laura, did a fantastic job of taking us to the tj could not score them higher than 100 out of 100.
I went on the guided tour to Teide/Masca, in one of the open top mini buses they use. The whole day was amazing- the sights, views, and the awesome landscape in the Teide national park. The driver was very courteous and professional ( especially with other frustrating drivers on the windy mountain roads!) and Sandra, our guide was a lovely lady who kept us well informed throughout the trip and in 3 different languages as well! Wonderful day! Many thanks Matt
We loved the tour. Best scenery we have ever witnessed. Some other reviews note that it can get a bit tedious on the coach to the national park. It’s about 60 mins there and 60 back but there are stops along the way. Jessica was our tour guide and she was brilliant!
Half of the tour is hotel pickup and drop off. They filled every single seat of a big bus. Also not sure why it stopped at the coffee shop next to a busy road rather than showing the village of Vilaflor. Unless you like to see hotels in Tenerife, I will not recommend this.
An incredible experience that the tour guide "Enrique de Lorenzo" provided us, a star!! 👌🏼
After the wonderful experience in La Gomera the previous day, my mom and I decided to also participate in the excursion to Teide National Park. Even though we were very tired from the previous day, when we found out that we could also do this excursion with Henrique, we had no doubts. And we did the right thing😊 Henrique confirmed himself once again as an exceptional guide: prepared, attentive, helpful, and extremely engaging. Throughout the entire route, he accompanied us with very interesting explanations about Teide, the National Park, and the places we were passing through, always answering the group's questions with competence and helpfulness. But what makes Henrique special is not just his preparation. It is his energy, his way of communicating, and his ability to immediately create a wonderful atmosphere within the group. He is funny, spontaneous, warm, and manages to keep attention alive without ever making the explanations heavy. With him, you learn, you discover, and at the same time, you laugh a lot😂 We visited Teide National Park, made several stops to admire the landscape and learn more about the area, had lunch together, and then continued our journey through the park before returning. The whole day was pleasant, interesting, and well-organized. This second excursion only confirmed the impression we had the previous day: Henrique loves what he does and truly manages to transmit this passion to the people he accompanies. We were very happy to be able to spend this second day with him too, and despite the tiredness, it was absolutely worth it!!! Personally, I can say that Henrique is the best guide I have ever had.❤️ Not only for his preparation, but because he represents the combination of everything one would want to find in a guide: professionalism and lightness, culture and friendliness, depth and spontaneity, energy and attention toward people. He knows how to transmit knowledge without being heavy, he knows how to make people laugh without ever losing professionalism, and above all, he knows how to truly engage people. It is precisely this balance, so difficult to find, that in my opinion makes the difference!!!! Thank you Henrique for these two beautiful days, for the explanations, the energy, the laughs, and the availability toward the whole group. A guide who does not just limit himself to showing you a place, but contributes to making the memory you will take home special. Absolutely recommended! 👌
Excellent. They picked us up at 8:45 and dropped us back off at the hotel at 15:15. We toured the main iconic spots of the National Park, leaving time for stops to take the typical photos. Laura, the guide who accompanied us, gets an A+ from us, explaining everything very clearly and leaving no room for any doubt. Thank you very much for showing us Teide National Park
Very beautiful excursion. I should clarify that this is not the first time I have visited Teide National Park, but this year I opted to go up by cable car. Pickup point near our residence and punctual pickup. Already at the time of pickup, our guide Enrico knew how to put everyone at ease. The route to get to the park was full of interesting information. The driver Miguel is super experienced. After a stop at the Roque de García, we were accompanied to the base of the cable car. An ascent of about 8 minutes and you arrive almost at the summit of his majesty El Teide. What can I say, exciting. My daughter and I took a short route and admired a panorama unique in the world. If there had been more time available, it would be perfect to be able to walk on the trail longer. It certainly won't be the last time I go up. A heartfelt thank you to Enrico, a wonderful guide; he knows how to put many people of various nationalities at ease. A very knowledgeable and experienced guide (in many years of excursions in Tenerife I have never found a guide like him), and a round of applause for Miguel, a friendly and capable driver. Greetings from Manuela from Verona. Recommended excursion.
Discrimination, EUR 10.5 for residents and EUR 42 pp for tourists for using the cable car. Disgraceful. This is just corrupt.
We were disappointed with this trip by false sales talks. We were supposed to pay the remaining travel balance in the bus unfortunately no card payment was possible because of this there was a delay for all passengers, sad. In the sales discussion at the port we were promised a German tour. This was then multilingual. After about 20 minutes I asked if there could be any information in German. Yes there was, we could get out if it doesn't suit us!!! Our conclusion great island with super bus driver and little information. MfG Karl.
Today on a guided tour passing through Teide, Garachico, Masca... Beautiful landscapes that we traveled with great security, thanks to driver Julio. A great professional who made us with his impeccable driving a very pleasant and easy journey. Despite the difficulty of the tour. Then we were continuously attended by the guide Henry. Great professional with magnificent knowledge of the places of the Island, mastering several languages and explanations very useful to bring various knowledge to the tour. Thanks Julio and Enrique. You gave us a very nice and fun day. All together in the travel package. The Galician.
Thanks to Adrian and Laura who have been very professional and have made us have a super nice day. I hope to coincide on some more excursion
Exceptionelt landskab, sød, sjov og dygtig guide, chaufføren safe og smooth driver på hårnålevejene.
HORRIBLE!!!! 48€ x 2 pax for 1 Transfer to Teide: we saw nothing of the national park because the program was not respected: flying! The aggressive and threatening driver was driving very fast. The Guide also very rude and aggressive, did not explain anything. He continually talked about bananas and snow in winter, as well as completely false information: we believe that this Guide is not certified or Certified (a complaint will be filed with various government bodies). The tour company does not take responsibility after several solicitations, they robbed us, abused us and lost 1 day of vacation. Run away!
Top excursion for the price with José the bus driver who drives like a boss especially on the tiny Masca roads. Laura the very smiling Guide speaks very good French.
Great excursion, very complete, enjoyable and fun. Masca and its amazing landscapes. Thanks to the guide Laura Ríos and her explanations of the island and its history. He is very friendly and always with a smile. Also thank the driver José, super friendly and a true professional.
This tour is a mistake because it is in fact a guided visit to almost all the hotels and apartments in the area, since having been the first to be picked up, around 11:25 hours, and incomprehensibly!!, still with a half-hour stop (so-called technical...) in Villa Flor, when the guide already knew that we were late, arrived at the cable car station the guide, after a long Waiting time, informed that there were only 10 tickets for the cable car (we were about 55 people) because we had arrived late (the limit would be 14 hours) ! General confusion, and after new waiting and general dissatisfaction there we climbed but with one condition: only half an hour at the top of El Teide when the hired was 1 hour. The weather was magnificent and it was indeed worth admiring the extraordinary view! The organization is terrible! Very bad.
Fue una excursión muy interesante porque la guía que se llama Jessica explicaba muy bien e hizo que fuera muy interesante le doy un diez, además estuvo muy pendiente de que disfrutaramos
I do not recommend it, I would not re-book this excursion. We were sold the half-day tour, which in theory was 3-4 hours, and it turned out to be 6 1/2 hours, of which we were on bus 5. And I don't exaggerate. The bus runs halfway around the island picking people up from hotels. We stayed about 1 hour and a half from hotel to hotel, until the bus fills up, a waste of time and a bore. Then express stop for 20 minutes for coffee, fast and running that if you do not stabilize the coffee you drink it with a boiling drink. And when we get to the Teide, the cable car is 38 euros more, and they only let you stay up for an hour. The cable car itself leaves every 10 minutes, takes 10 more to climb and at least in summer there is quite a queue. Total, we took 20 minutes to go up, 30 to go down = we were up 10 minutes for 38€. A scam, doesn't give you time to see any trails. Four pictures and now. But the worst part is that when we returned to the bus, at the agreed time, more than half the people were missing. We were waiting in the parking lot doing nothing almost 11⁄2 hours, because people get lost, they don’t care about the time, they don’t care about delaying others... And the organization doesn’t do anything about it, they just wait for the last one to feel like coming back. All told, what was supposed to be a half-day trip that would give us time to eat at the hotel, we ended up wasting 6 1/2 hours, on an empty stomach and having spent 66€ per person. A disaster, a lousy Service.
Of the worst excursions of my life. I was booked from the Coral Hotel for the Alders and a nefarious thing. We went to Teide half a day, half a day that was five minutes scarce. After what took us to get up, we weren’t allowed to be there, we didn’t stop at any viewpoint, we saw absolutely nothing, we went up and down and it’s not exactly cheap. If I took the guagua, which is half the price and at least I would have been there longer. And let's not talk about the guide, who told nothing relevant, very unpresentable everything. And the shame is that I doubt that I will have the opportunity to return, which for me thanks to this Enterprise has been a rubbish
Da wir im Norden wohnen, wurde eigens ein Bus in unsere Nähe geschickt, um uns von einem speziellen Meeting Point abzuholen. Die Komunikation mit dem Tour Office war schnell, einfach und sehr entgegenkommend.
