Pleasant day. Leisurely pace. Never felt rushed. Saw a lot if the island that would have been difficult without hiring a car.

You have plenty of time at each stop. There is a boat trip from Puerto Rico to Puerto de Mogan, which was €7.50 per ticket, but we stayed on the bus, which drove there. Unfortunately, my husband had a broken seat on the bus, so he couldn't sit back on his seat and there were no other seats available. It was still a nice way to visit different places on the island.
The pickup was easy, the ride very comfortable, the guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. I want to say thank you to the guide and the driver for a great experience.
A great day out having a look around the Southern part of the Island, the bus driver the guide and the boat trip were all top class.
Fantastic tour taking in some spectacular places and sights with a very knowledgeable guide Francisco. Going into the guayadaque ravine was our first stop. We saw Incredible “cave houses” and found out about the history of these. We were even able to enter one of the houses to have a look. We had stopped at a restaurant which had taken 17/18 years to complete- in the rock— and were able to wander about inside. All was stunning and incredible to think they were made from existing caves. Next stop was Puerto Rico to catch a ferry across to puerto Mogán (small additional charge if you chose to go on this). Well worth the boat ride and the crew were amazing; happy, accommodating, funny and very helpful. We even had a shot of driving the boat ! Puerto Mogán is absolutely stunning and definitely a must for a visit. Quaint little narrow streets of white houses covered in beautiful hanging flowers and little fountains at each turn along with the canals which were crystal clear and full of fish. A multitude of restaurants to choose from for some lunch. I picked a place and ordered salt baked sea bass which was opened, filleted and served in front of me onto my plate along with canarian potatoes and salad. Next and last stop was Las Dunas de Maspalomas, miles and miles of huge sand dunes formed by the transportation of sand in the winds over the island originating from the Sahara. The day was absolutely wonderful, the one small negative I would mention was that the description of this tour and it’s itinerary was different from what I read and we were rushed each time to get back onto the bus to reach the next destination leaving much less free time than stated in the original itinerary. That said I still had a wonderful day.
Great tour, we visited beautiful areas with plenty of time to explore on our own as well as guided tour. Highly recommend it.
The tour guide was very nice and kept the vibe up, but the bus consistently broke down leaving us in ridiculous heat. The tour guide bought our drinks at the end of the trip but the times at each location were really reduced as the bus took ages to get there. Nobody’s fault just was disappointing!
What an excellent guide Celene ! And the driver too was amazing ! Celine Went out of the Way to explain everyting so clearly and in depth ! Really a high quality tour ! Well done to the team , Bruno !
Relaxed enjoyable and very informative with an excellent tour guide. Well worth the money. The optional boat trip was an added bonus even if it did cost a few euros!!!
A very well thought out day. I enjoyed the variety of the sites visited with a special mention for the lovely village of Mogàn. Fran was an excellent guide equally informative in English and Spanish. A great way to improve your comprehension! Highly recommended.
This tour was so quick! I feel like I blinked and we were leaving! You leave at 10 and get back at 5, so not really a half day tour. Our guide was awesome and taught us so many things! I sortttttt of wish we went to the center of the island a little BUT Masplomas and Mogan are beautifullll :) And the cave houses are so cool!
Very bad and unfriendly guide, he had his own program instead of to follow what stayed in a tour advertisement so we basically needed to beg him to take us at least somewhere that was listed in a program
It is a fairly complete experience; you see the most interesting points of the island and the guide was a delight, he explained everything great. The only bad thing is that they leave very little time between site and site to visit, they give 15-20 minutes and you go in a rush.
I would like to thank Francisco and Miguel who accompanied us during this day. It was very interesting and the time went by very quickly! They always took care to explain and properly introduce the island, plantation, history to us... They took care to say the same things for those who spoke English and those who spoke Spanish. We received good advice regarding good places to eat, swim, take photos... They were incredibly kind. I RECOMMEND
A very beautiful day. The explanations from the guide were interesting. It is good for getting an idea of the south of the island. We missed enjoying a bit more free time at each place.
Fantastic experience in a day of the most varied and complete. Our guide Bruno was great in offering us extensive information about the route with very interesting details about the history and traditions of the Canary Islands. Barranco de Guayadeque is for me the most beast my eyes have ever seen. It is like getting into the Sonoran Desert.Maspalomas Dunes and the beautiful port of Mogan put a perfect pin on an insurmountable day. Recommended 100%
Very beautiful course to discover. A magnificent view, valleys and mountains not to be missed, this island really has beautiful places to explore
Nice trip. Good guide. Bla, bla, bla bla, bla. Nice trip. Good guide. Bla, bla, bla bla, bla. Nice trip. Good guide. Bla, bla, bla bla, bla.
Excelente el guía, describiendo cada lugar que visitamos. Resultó una valiosa experiencia,.conociendo maravillosos paisajes.
We enjoyed the excursion. Barranco de Guayadeque with its cave-dwellings, Agüimes, the port of Mogán and Maspalomas with its magnificent lighthouse.
We made this scooter tour without a guide, simply the backpacker guide, and we were very admiring of this landscape. Simply grandiose, sometimes it felt like in the Grand Canyon. At every turn magnificent views of magnificent ravines.
We were in Gran Canaria in September and booked several trips from home. The tour was very informative. I never thought people would live in rock caves on the island. I would book the trip again.
