Its more than worth the reasonable cpst, would not advise using a hire car the road is non existant. With the tour we had an exceptional and knowledgeable guide who added to tje experience.

I visited Cofete Beach and Villa Winter as part of this guided tour during my holiday in Fuerteventura, and it was one of the highlights of my trip. Cofete Beach is absolutely breathtaking. The scenery is spectacular, with dramatic mountains meeting a vast, wild coastline. The beach feels untouched and incredibly peaceful. I even had the chance to put my feet in the water, although the waves were very strong, which made it clear why swimming there is not recommended. We also visited Villa Winter, where our guide explained its fascinating history and the different theories surrounding the building. It was a very interesting visit and added another dimension to the excursion. Our guide made the experience even better. He was friendly, funny and knowledgeable, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day. He was happy to answer questions, took photos for anyone who wanted them, and was an excellent driver on the winding mountain roads to Cofete, making everyone feel safe throughout the journey. Overall, this was a very well-organised excursion and one that I would highly recommend. If you want to experience Fuerteventura's wild natural beauty while learning about one of its most intriguing historical sites, this tour is definitely worth doing.

We would give 6 stars if we could. What an amazing guide with so much knowledge and enthusiasm. Pierre is an inspiration. We had a fantastic afternoon. Lots of history. Lots of local information. Facts and conspiracy. He keeps the mystery alive without going overboard and we loved his humour and energy. We would definitely do this tour again.

Good way to see Cofete and the winter house. Good guide/driver. You can drive there yourself, but the road is quite bad. A lot better to relax, see the sights and let someone else deal with the driving.

We really enjoyed the tour with Pierre and saw some amazing views. He drove really well and we appreciated the music along the way. Seeing Cofete beach was one of the highlights of our holiday. Moreover, we were intrigued by the Villa Winter history. However, we do have one suggestion for the team. The group was German and he explained and told stories mostly in German. He translated for us, which was really kind, but we still had the feeling we missed some of the information. Perhaps it would be better to offer an English tour separately next time.

Unbelievable views you won't get anywhere else on FV! Yes, it is a distance and on a reasonable dirt road, worth every tight corner! Villa Winter stories were fascinating! Reyk was a great guide, story teller and importantly driver! Thank you Reyk!

We loved the tour. The guide Dierk knew alot about the island Fuerteventura, the history of the island and of Villa Winter itself.

I cannot fault this trip. The air-conditioned small minibus was ideal for the road. Pre-trip instructions were clear, and they arrived at my accommodation right on time. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and easy to get along with. Although I was the only English person on the trip (the rest were German), that was not a problem. It wasn't due to my German language skills, but rather because the guide kept checking in to ensure I understood everything. I never felt left out in any way. He was very good at what he did, and I would commend this experience to anyone. If you have never been to this wild side of Fuerteventura, I would fully recommend it. Cofete is like the land that time forgot, and it feels a million miles away from the tourist resorts. Winter Villa is absolutely fascinating. I urge anyone who visits to read up a little bit on the history beforehand to help grasp the big picture. It's enigmatic, remote, and did not disappoint. Run by Pedro himself, the place could easily have fallen into disrepair; however, he has done a fantastic job of preserving a truly fascinating piece of recent history. There are not many places like this around – it is living history, and I thoroughly recommend it.

Great way to see Cofete Beach and Villa Winter without having to do the drive yourself or rely on the bus. 8-person van, photo stops, tour of the villa, beach stop. We were the only English on the trip but our guide, Kristof, made sure to give information in German and English. Fun trip, highly recommend!

Fantastic trip!!! Great impressions!! We went on the trip with 2 children: 6 and 9 years old- Guide Krzyszof Stachura is the Best ! He has Great approach to young travelers and of course for the older ones ;) really recommend!!

Interesting but not what I expected. My fault I should have researched this Villa. i can only speak English and rest of group were German. So not everything got translated into English so I didn't feel so included especially when they were all laughing at things the guide was telling them. When at Cofete Beach i would have preferred contributing to the local economy and having a coffee in shade but this is not an option. 30 minutes on the beach at noon , with no shade, is not ideal

Brilliant, the guide was great and so easy to understand. I didn't know the places before hand. This was great.

Make sure to check the language the tour is in, I forgot to check it was in German. Luckily the tour guide spoke good English and compensated for this. Cofete Beach has great views, the Villa is interesting, took just over 4 hours.

We took this trip because we really wanted to see Villa Winter having heard lots of stories about why it was there. We also didn't want to take our own car down the rough and twisty track to Cofete. Great choice! Krzysztof was good fun, the road is crazy and he played us some great music. This is a German speaking trip - which we knew before booking. But he was happy to share his knowledge in English too! The Villa did not disappoint and the beach is breathtaking. Photos do not do it justice. It was brilliant fun for a Birthday trip for my husband. He even had "Happy Birthday" sung to him in German, English and Polish - Polish was the best! Would highly recommend this trip. Krzystof had a huge amount of knowledge about the area and the Villa in particular.

Fantastic views of the beach villa winter was a good visit our tour guide got us access to the cellar. Very interesting and challenged the stories about the place! Tour guide/driver was brilliant

Great trip, Cofete beach is absolutely breathtaking, a magical area made famous by films like star wars and exodus and its easy to see why! Scenery is amazing during the drive too. Stop at view point is great photo op, a real must see in Fuerteventura! Seeing lovely donkeys and goats on the way too. Expect bumpy off roading most of the way. Villa Winter was interesting, seeing Pedros unofficial museum and meeting him and his lovely animals. Our German guide Ricke (apologies for the spelling) tall, dark hair and used to work for TUI. He was fantastic, so knowledge and informative, thoughtful seat reserved in the van for my injured foot and he showed genuine interest in the area and history and care for his guests, safe driving throughout, very friendly and spoke great English too! The reason for 4* and not 5* is that we would have liked longer at the amazing beach to fully appreciate it. We were not contacted before the trip with any pick up info, we had to contact them. We booked and selected hotel pick up but only on asking were advised it's normally from a central meeting point at a bus stop so not as adverised from hotel but on explaining the need for this they did make an exception for us. Overall it was a bit pricey considering its a free to visit beach and the paid donation to villa winter should be included with the cost. Would have been nice to stop and interact with the lovely donkeys as we passed. Appreciated it was a small group tour, we only had 6 people total on ours which was a good size and comfortable van. A lovely way to spend 4-4.5 hours, spectacular scenery, not a lot of walking so mostly accessible on foot too. Amazing to see and learn about and we would reccomend. Thank you to our fantastic guide who made the day! 😀

A very interesting excursion with a highly motivated tour guide. The mysterious Villa Winter is shown and described in detail, without sugarcoating. Vehicle comfortable and well air-conditioned. There were a few photo stops and additional information about the island. Recommended gastronomy in the vacation resort was a really good tip. The brave (like the tour guide) can also swim in the meter-high waves of Cofete as a final stop.

We booked this tour relatively spontaneously and were not disappointed. From the pickup to the guided tour through Villa Winter and the sensational Cofete Beach, a thoroughly perfect excursion. Not least to be highlighted is the execution of the tour by our guide Tim, who provided us with interesting information about the island the whole time, even beyond the excursion. Experience report: Adventures at the South End of Fuerteventura Our trip took us to the south end of Fuerteventura, and even the way there was a real adventure. The unpaved road was narrow, full of debris and very bumpy. With a maximum speed of 30 km/h, we moved cautiously as the dust stirred up behind us. Visit to the lighthouse First we stopped at the lighthouse. The wind blew into our faces, and the stormy conditions did not make us linger long. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the impressive view of the rough coast and the raging sea. the lighthouse of Punta Jandía is the southernmost point of Fuerteventura. It was built in 1993 and is a popular photo subject. Culinary experience in Playa Morro de Potalu After our short visit to the lighthouse we drove back to Playa Morro de Potala At the Punta de Jardine restaurant we treated ourselves to the best fish in a long time. The restaurant has a special flair, because in good weather you can sit outside surrounded by nostalgic remains from the golden age of fishermen. Old boats, nets, buoys and ponds tell stories of the sea and the hard work of fishermen. Drive to Cofete Beach From there we made our way to Cofete Beach. If we thought the road to the lighthouse was adventurous, then the drive there was even more spectacular. The narrow pass road was not paved, and there was no way to turn around. Encounters with other vehicles required a lot of improvisation. Often we had to think far in advance who could stop where. Communication often happened through sign language, light horn and a bit of mind reading. It is still worth the drive. Simply great views and magnificent scenery. When we finally arrived at Cofete Beach, the conditions were challenging: It was very windy and foggy, which significantly limited visibility. The waves raged and the spray almost robbed us of the breathtaking scenery. Nevertheless, the beach with its golden dunes and dramatic mountains was simply stunning. Curiosities and the Villa Winter I found the small cemetery on the beach particularly curious, which spread a unique atmosphere. Villa Winter, a mysterious structure with a mysterious history, was unfortunately closed, but I imagine it would have been worth a visit. Originally built in the 1940s, many legends surround the villa, which used to be a retreat for a variety of personalities. The combination of rugged nature, history and cuisine made this trip an unforgettable experience. It was a day full of adventure, impressive landscapes and fascinating stories – a perfect reminder of the wonders of Fuerteventura!
