Fuerteventura: Aphrodite Exclusive Gulet With Food And Drinks

This was our 10th trip on Aphrodite and Alex and the crew made this the one of the most memorable yet, the energy and sense of fun on board was amazing, and even the most reserved guest was made to feel like part of the group. The food was fantastic as usual, and the service was second to none. My only regret is that we won't be on the island for my 62nd Birthday next Wednesday to sail again, but we will most definitely be back on board next year.

Our first family excursion on Aphrodite with Ocean Explorer was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived at the harbour, the Magic & Sailing Team welcomed us with such warmth that we instantly felt safe and confident we had chosen the best company on the island. The crew were attentive throughout the entire trip. Albert was exceptional — he took time to explain ocean life to my grandson in a way that was both fascinating and easy to understand. Although English was the main language spoken on board, Albert made a point of speaking to guests in their own language whenever needed. This personal touch made everyone feel included and cared for. The children were not only entertained with activities, but they even had the chance to become “Captain” of the ship for a moment, which was a real highlight for them. At the end of the excursion, the TUI representative presented each child with a diploma — a thoughtful gesture that made the experience even more memorable. The food on board was also excellent. The hamburger, in particular, stood out — it wasn’t a cheap or basic one at all, but genuinely delicious and far better than we expected on an excursion. It was clear that care had gone into the quality of the meal, which made the whole experience feel even more premium. We were lucky enough to see dolphins, adding a magical moment to an already wonderful day. As a family, we felt safe, relaxed, and incredibly well looked after. We will definitely be back.

We booked this trip for our family holiday (10 of us) as a next best thing to the pirate boat that is no longer sailing. Best decision ever! Boarded the ship, super comfortable padded lie down seats/loungers, nice amount of people (not packed) and amazing crew (shout out to Alejandro (Alex) who was unbelievable). 2 hours sailing and saw soooo mant dolphins, they were racing the boat!). Stopped for a swim - kids loved jumping off the boat and Alejandro jumped first! Then a lunch of steak and potatoes (mushroom stroganoff for me as Im veggie) which was lovely. Honey rum came round for a toast. Beer, wine, soft drinks on tap and the crew constantly come round to serve you -you dont go dry thats for sure! Hour sail back where we saw a turtle and loads of flying fish. Alejandro led a load of dances (Spanish and macerena) and was such a lovely vibe for grown ups and kids. We will absolutely book again and do the same tour. The boat was so comfortable and the crew really made it unforgettable. Was the highlight of our trip for sure

Awesome trip, the crew is very friendly, food is good, drinks are good, dj is really focused on music 😃 We didn't see the dolphins or whales but it was fun anyway, to enjoy the view and just drink on the sea We really advise you to take it instead of 60 people catamaran, sice it's more fun, really 😉 Cheers

My wife and I could not be happier with our Aphrodite trip. The boat was gorgeous with plenty of room to relax and the food was excellent and served with plenty of Honey Rum! Our favourite part has to be the crew, every member made sure we felt welcomed and made sure that the energy did not go down. I must say that Alex (Alejandro) was the life of the party but Luiss, Marion, Franco and Judni gave it their all to ensure we went home happy and tipsy. All I can say is “OH MY GOD”!

We had a wonderful day with Aphrodite and crew, Luiss, Luca and Judni. The wooden boat is romantic and we were served good food and drinks for four hours. The crew took perfect care of us and were positive all the time and we all had a great time. We were lucky to see lots of dolphins too!

This trip was worth every Euro! We had such a fantastic time. We were welcomed on board Aphrodite with a glass of Prosecco which then never seemed to empty. Plenty of other options from the open bar too. The staff...Luca, Luiss and Juani kept us entertained throughout the trip. We were able to enjoy a quick swim in the ocean before our lovely meal was served. As sunset approached Aphrodite turned into the sun for the captain's surprise. We were fortunate to be on-board with lovely people, and there was an amazingly beautiful sunset. The trip ended with a great party atmosphere. Simply the best! Just do it!!!

Another fantastic trip out with Luca Luis and Manuel , we’ve been going on these trips for over 5 years and they never let us down we’ve always seen dolphins and the guys are fantastic , 100% recommended this trip and the sunset trip also .

Fantastic 4 hours spent at sea. The crew especially Luca were very attentive, drinks flowed and a delicious 3 course lunch. The Captain managed to find some dolphins for us to admire and then dropped anchor so we could have a swim. What a great way to spend a day.

This was an excellent cruise with an amazing crew on board (Leon, JP and Juan). As soon as we got on board, a bottle of prosecco was popped open and drinks were served to everyone on board. Drinks continued to be served regularly throughout the trip, we were made very comfortable! Music was played and at a good volume - not too loud, the crew were sensitive about adjusting the volume to suit everyone's preferences - just ask. There was a seat in the sun for everyone - and half of the seats were beach beds on the front deck. We were then briefed on our journey by the friendly and extremely good hunoured crew and asked about dietary requirements - very happy to say that vegan options are available as we didn't know this before boarding. An hour into our journey, we managed to see some long nosed dolphins in the distance and then suddenly came across a couple of dozen common dolphins who came up and swam by the boat, jumping out of the water, playing with us - it was such a fantastic experience for everyone! They like Aphrodite because she is a big boat! We were then driven to the cliffs near the port where we could go for a swim for half an hour before eating some lunch. The water was turquoise and very warm with a few schools of fish around (but not too many). Lunch was either tuna then beef and potatoes or for us vegans couscous with tzatziki then chickpea fritters with saffron rice. It was absolutely delicious!! After lunch we sailed south along the coast - no dolphins spotted this time unfortunately but we couldn't complain and everyone seemed very content simply resting on the decks or looking out at the beautiful views. It is entirely under motor power and there is no sailing involved even though it is a sailboat - however this didn't cause any problem or distract from the whole experience of being on the water. There was one cheesy bit of the trip where they encourage everyone to do a Titanic photo shot at the helm, but if you are lucky like us you can sneak away easily and avoid that experience if it doesn't quite appeal :) This was a really worthwhile trip, cannot recommend it enough. I originally wanted to do the midday cruise, but that was full but the Jet2 rep Carl said they do a sunset cruise as well (not listed in the tour brochure) so after a bit of thought I booked that instead. All very efficient with pickup not far from my hotel in Costa Calma - just about the furthest place they do pickup - and coach transport to the port. Then on board with a welcome drink and off we went. The cruise was just a mile or so out from the harbour, first going west then back east to near the lighthouse and looping round for a bit, then took a bouy near the cliffs to serve food. The info said 'snacks and beverages' included but this was actually a light meal (see photo) with slightly spiced chicken pieces on flatbread plus some sushi followed by a small dessert. Wine and beer was freely available throughout with the crew all happy to serve us. Fairly loud disco-type music playing at the stern of the boat all the way, but quieter forward so that's where I spent most of my time. There was no actual sailing, it was all done under motor - in fact there was no jib in place, probably taken off for winter maintenance - but it was good to be out on a real sailboat rather than one of the plastic catamarans that do similar trips. Good views of the coast and I saw quite a few flying fish but no dolphins (wasn't expecting to so no disappointment there). As sunset approaced the crew gathered everyone around the bow pulpit for everyone to capture that 'Titanic' moment (cheesy, they even played the film music while taking photos!) with the crew taking pictures for all the couples on board. As a solo I wasn't that bothered but did it anyway with one of the crew posing with me. Then back to port and the coach transfer back. All good fun and I enjoyed the trip. Al the crew were enthusiatic and welcoming, so thanks to Leon, Chris, JP and Itziar for a fun evening.

We went on the Sunset Tour on the Aphrodite and loved it. Leon, Juani, Karol and Antía were a lovely crew, looking after everybody with drinks, food and a very friendly way making everybody feel welcome. I especially loved the Titanic moment, which was perfectly timed. A great way to see Fuerteventura's beauty.

Absolutely delightful experience. My partner and I (both ages 26) attended the sunset boat trip. One of the best boat trips I’ve been on. Boat was busy but not so packed that you couldn’t move or find a nice sunbed to lounge on or a seat to sit at the back. Drinks flowed nicely, dinner was actually DELICIOUS (a sort of chicken tikka curry on pitta bread, which was so so good, and a little sushi) Very friendly and welcoming crew, relaxed and then later fun atmosphere. We were definitely out for more than 3 hours, everyone was having such a good time! We stopped for swimming, there’s a ladder that leads down into the sea, or you can just jump in! We stopped to watch the sunset and to take some photos and the crew played Titanic and as a huge Titanic fan, it was actually so lovely and funny that I almost cried! They made sure everyone had lovely photos and no one was missed out. After the sun set, the atmosphere changed and we started to have a bit more of a party. This was contained to the back of the boat however, and those wanting to continue relaxing could stay at the front. A party boat would be the last thing I would EVER book, but this little party seemed spontaneous and natural, it really was just the right atmosphere. There was a great DJ, everyone was drinking and dancing, shots were handed out, it really was just perfect. Definitely book this one!! <3

Sunset Cruise was our 3rd time aboard the Aphrodite, and won't be our last. This trip was ta gift from my wife to celebrate my 60th. Leon, J.P, and Lucas helped make it a day we will remember for many Years to come. The atmosphereand food , aboard Aphrodite are always fantastic, and the crew ensure your glass is always full. Highly recommended if you're visiting the Island.

It was a great experience from start to finish! The crew is extremely warm and professional, my mother and I felt that we were in good hands (although the sea was very wild) The food was delicious, enough to drink and the atmosphere was very good - also because the group size and music selection was very well chosen. Amazing experience, first time on a boat and would recommend to anyone, Leon, Miguel and Fran were amazing with Leon making the best steaks in Spain. Fran being the best captain and Miguel had insane knowledge of the Island of Futeventura.

We booked for Sunday morning and were welcomed on board by Rebecca and I can’t remember the guys name. Had a bit of beard. They were so welcoming and made us feel comfortable straight away. Rebecca was great, always keeping the drinks flowing and being the perfect host. I wasn’t overly keen on the food but my partner ate what I didn’t so all was good. If I’m back in Fuerteventura again, I would definitely book this again. They also played Madonna at our request which was a lovely touch! A lovely time was had! Thanks Rebecca and the team! 😊

Such a fun trip! The crew Leon, Juani and Itziar were great fun and attentive. We saw lots of dolphins close up and swam in the sea. Our trip was on Valentines Day so the fab DJ played love songs while we sailed along the impressive coastline at the end of Fuerteventura. A glass of fizz ...or 2 or 3....were available as you step aboard and you helped yourself after that. We had great fun reenacting the Titanic scene, with Jack and Kate, at the bow of the ship too...a lovely Valentines thing to do.

What a fabulous boat trip this is! Aphrodite is a lovely old wooden gulet. The crew were fantastic, so friendly and did a great job of making everyone feel welcome. The highlight was when we came across a large pod of dolphins and they swam alongside us for ages. The drinks on board were plentiful and the food (couscous salad, followed by steak and sauté potatoes) was very good and I thought it was excellent value for a special day on the water.

The tour was great 👍 The captain was in a really good mood, as was the rest of the crew. We had a lot of fun and drinks were always refilled. To top it off, we also saw dolphins. Recommended 👍🤩

What a brilliant fun filled sunset boat trip. From the moment you stepped on board to the time you depart the boat crew of Lean, Pablo, Juani and Laura the made you feel at home. Sailing along the beautiful coast you get to enjoy the warmth of a setting sun while enjoy the very tasty meal with plenty of drinks. The swimming spot in crystal clear waters was a high light along with the sunset surprise. The trip ended with stop just off the coast of Morro Jable allowing us to view the lights of the town from the sea.

The reason this gets 5 stars is because you won't meet more genuinely friendly people. The crew of Leon, Pablo and Jusni were outstanding. They continued looking after all us guests with the same friendliness and service whilst we waited for our return coach to arrive. The food was also excellent

Thank you to all the crew on board the Aphroodite. Leon, Pablo,Lauri & Claire whose energy alone was addictive. The atmosphere on board the boat was phenomenal. We took lots of memorable photos of the amazing views. The captains surprises (which we will not put on here as not to spoil them) was a night to remember. The food was superb and the drinks were free flowing. While onboard, some friends we met got engaged right in the middle of the last surprise by the captain. As the sun went down, we got pictures of an unforgetrable sunset. The party atmosphere never stopped all night with some unreal music played by the onboard DJ, without the music drowning out the atmosphere like it does in a nightclub/bar. It really was a night that we will never forget. The sea was calm and you couldn't tell you were moving on the ocean. If you could only manage to afford one trip on your holiday, on this beautiful island, I would recommend this one over everything else. The experience from this fantastic crew and ship will stay with me and my Husband for the rest of our lives. Thank you so very much.

What an amazing boat trip. Eva, Leon and Luis were great hosts. lovely food and plenty of drinks provided to us whilst we enjoyed the views - seeing dolphins was an extra treat. Eva made sure we remembered it by taking photos for us. Swam in the ocean. We enjoyed every minute!

We had an amazing time on this boat trip. We started off sailing out for a couple of hours and we spotted some dolphins and two whales We then stopped for a dive. Our 3 year old came with us and unfortunately was sea sick but they were great and let us sit inside and our her to sleep. We had a nice lunch of cous cous starter and beef and potatoes for my husband and a beautiful vegetarian rice dish for myself. The drinks were topped up the entire time with beer, cabs and honey rum. Plenty of soft drink options for those who drink. Huge thank you to Leon, J.C and Juani for the amazing hospitality. Would definitely recommend.

Our trip was absolutely fabulous. The crew went above and beyond to make our trip perfect. They were so kind and attentive. We saw whales and dolphins. Leon, Eud and Juani were exceptional hosts. My 80 year old grandmother came with us and she said the boat trip was the highlight of her holiday.

Had an amazing boat trip and were very well looked after by Fron, Leor and Dailos. The food was great and drinks were as free flowing as you wanted them to be. Such a relaxed chilled day and we weren’t overcrowded like some of the other boats I saw taking off around the same time. The crew took us looking for dolphins and warned we might not see any but we weren’t disappointed - we had 10+ swimming and playing around the boat. Caught some amazing videos and this felt like a magical experience. Swimming was great too. It was incredibly windy but you didn’t feel it on the boat at all - except for when you went down to the toilets. I would recommend this over any of the other boat experiences. Thank you to the Crew for such a great day 😊

Amazing experience with amazing team. We did have a child (16 months) with us, who was teething and didnt have a good night before the boat ride. He only wanted to stay with my husband. Our captain Leon tried to pick our baby up and distract him with drawings, so my husband could eat. That didnt work, but the thought behind it was heart warming. Our guide Katarina did speak in so many languages: english, spanish, german , french. Maybe the list even goes on. She was always there asking if we need anything. I told her that im terrified of open and deep waters and when i managed to get in for a swim ignoring my panic attack, she started to shout that she was proud of me and then everyone started clapping. It was truly magical and unforgettable experience We all got sunburns. So maybe wear suncream even if weather app shows that it will be cloudy

Amazing tour on the Aphrodite - highly recommended! The crew was absolutely friendly, helpful and funny. We saw a lot of dolphins, food&drinks were tasty, there were not too many people on board, the music is good - the tour could've gone on for three more hours and I wouldn't have stopped enjoying! Highly recommended 5/5!

Amazing experience!!! The guys of 'Magic and Sailing' gave us everything we needed to make our Holiday perfect. There was beer🙈, there was wine, there was a live DJ with perfect music for this boat trip experience. It feels like you can finaly truly relax and set sail for an amzing sunset (just like in the movies). On top of that there was great food, sushi, chicken, veggies 💜. During the trip we set for anker and we were aloud to jump of the boat 😱😎, I was always dreaming of doing that.... 'Magic and Sailing' you made it happen. The crew was incredible! The captain made everything possible for us to see dolphins and they were great at explaining every fact about them and the island, so a big thank you Manu, Nino, Ginny and especially Ruben for this amazing experience. We also had some time to relax and swim in the beautiful turquoise water at Morro Jable. Everything was flawless, including the food and the drinks that were constantly offered by the crew. I would 100% recommend this experience and will definitely repeat it myself. Well done!

The trip and the pickup were great. The time on board was awesome. However, the bus drivers should also be told that they should drop you off where they picked you up. Stranded in the middle of nowhere and 40 euros later for a taxi, I was finally at the hotel... great evening with a very bitter aftertaste. Anyone who does not have cash with them should stay away from this. Greetings to the taxi driver. He was very nice and helpful.

Very beautiful boat, very attentive crew, we had a good time. The navigation is 100% motorized, we were not lucky enough to see dolphins, overtourism will get the better of the fish, it is a shame. But the crew makes the trip joyful, very nice, we had a good time.

It was purely a drinking tour, which seemed to disguise the fact that we were more or less just going in circles. It started off with my voucher not loading; I thought it was not a big deal since I had the email with the confirmation. Wrongly thought, the "nice" gentleman who picked us up for the bus made a huge fuss, saying he couldn't take me like that, blah blah, then I had to call his boss, who told me the same thing again, and the mood was in the dumps. Then suddenly it worked, no one knows why, but whatever. On board, we were welcomed with champagne, and everyone, meaning the crew, suddenly had a very good mood and were nice again. It started, and no joke, we didn't get far from the harbor, as I said, we drove in circles, supposedly to see dolphins and such. The oriental dinner was more than disappointing, but alcohol flowed endlessly 🤣 for 89 euros, all-you-can-drink, really great. Fortunately, I have already experienced some really nice boat trips. Oh, and for the smokers, it wasn't allowed because they are afraid the ship will catch fire. But getting everyone drunk without life jackets and with low railings is fine.

We enjoyed this evening cruise on Tuesday, June 16, and we loved the experience. The welcome was warm and the atmosphere never faded: the glasses never stayed empty for long! It was also Alex's birthday, the host, who has absolutely overflowing and contagious energy. We ate very well and especially drank very well (the honey rum is excellent!). The boat hosted many couples, which created a wonderful atmosphere on board, exactly what we were looking for. A huge thank you to the entire team for this trip.
