We were very lucky to have Pedro as our guide today! He took us to all the hotspots on the island. There was a lot more to the island than we thought including the volcanic landscape, caves, wildlife and sand dunes. Our tour was made extra special due to the guides enthusiasm and his amazing knowledge of the island’s cultural heritage and the environment. He was also a hilarious man! Thanks again Pedro!

A other stunning stop and panorama view in the mountains (669 meter high), but also the 2 statues of the gauchens appeal to the imagination!
Enjoy the scenic hairpin mountain roads and spectacular panoramic viewpoints in natural park Betancuria
Neither the Seychelles nor the Caribbean: the best beach in the world according to National Geographic is in the Canary Islands. One of the best beaches in the world is in Corralejo, and we'll definitely be seeing it on this tour! • If we have enough time, we will also stop by the dunes.
Caves walk !! Yea, A Walk to the spectacular Ajuy caves, which are the oldest formations in the Canary Islands. They belong to the basal complex of Fuerteventura, created by the submarine flow of lava and sediment that rose to the surface and began to form the island 100 million years ago in the Cretaceous period. The rocks emerged from a depth of 3,000 metres and started to form the base that these days supports this island and that of Lanzarote. The caves are extremely important from a geological and paleontological perspective and are among the 150 sites of primary geological interest in the world. Visiting them means travelling back in time to the very origins of Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands themselves. Did you knew? • It was the place where Jean de Béthencourt, the conqueror of the Canary Islands, landed in the 15th century. If the weather conditions permit, we will also visit the caves on the west sea coast.
Time to relax over lunch or enjoy a lovely sangria on the terrace, where we can admire the beautiful volcanic scenery and beach
We drive past the young capital(1862), actually through the center and along the most important port in Fuerteventura. If we have time enough; We have a photo stop on the port and the lovely beach playa chica … On high tide we see the natural swimming pool of the El Charco neighborhood in Puerto del Rosario!! The guide will of course also tell you the very interesting stories here.
Biggest golf resort in Fuerteventura. Your guide will tell you all about the holiday/Golf resort.
"La Casa Alta" (The High House) in Tindaya was closely associated with the witches of Tindaya. La Casa Alta in Tindaya is an example of the civil architecture that flourished in the 18th century. Its walls enshrine memories and legends. Legend has it that Mount Tindaya has been a place of witches since ancient times, ever since the Majos performed their rituals on its summit. There, magic, intertwined with the divine, gave birth to countless stories that resonated through the village. From there came good and evil, mystery and precision, the rain that brought life and death—always death. From the mountain, the witches descended and took advantage of the darkness of the night to discuss earthly matters, for they were the ones who determined the entire course of events in the village of Tindaya. And according to legend, at sunrise all those who still wandered through the village sought refuge in the High House.
The ravine of las Penitas. An exceptional enclave! AN other great Panoramic View on this daytrip. From the Las Peñitas viewpoint, in Betancuria, you will see an evocative view: a green oasis in the middle of the desert. The underground river that flows under the Las Peñitas ravine is created by human hands (in 1937) and forms a small lake dotted with native plants. The open esplanade of the viewpoint is the perfect place for taking quality photos. Home of the local inhabitants, the chipmunks.
Driving south, we have scenic vieuws on the Sicasumbre mountains, located about 300 meters above sea level. This is, by the way, one of the best places on our island to observe the sky. The beauty of the area is perfectly combined with the facilities the viewpoint offers, from information and signage to the mountains, so those who wish can comfortably use their cameras.
Known for the film Excodus “Gods & Kings” and the Church of Virgin de La Pena. The patrona of Fuerteventura. Your guide will tell you all about it. On request we can stop here 5 minutes.

Excellent tour , Pedro was very informative and entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour.
Overall this trip was fantastic, our tour guide Pedro was a real credit to the tour. We can say his positive attitude and knowledge was above and beyond our expectations of the trip. He had a laid back, no stress tour with good vibes and good times. We both enjoyed learning about the wonderful Canary Island Fuerteventura and seeing the natural beauty of the island. Thank you a real pleasure to see the real Fuerteventura and not just the hotel. Highly recommended 5 Stars Plus.
This is a fantastic trip with great value for money. Pedro, our tour guide, was exceptional. We were a group of 8, all haling from different countries with different languages. I must give credit where credit is due, Pedro seamlessly changed languages to communicate with all trip-goers to make sure we all knew what was going on. Such a lovely chap, very chatty and very knowledgeable. If you get him as your tour guide, count yourself in great hands indeed! Now, on to the actual trip. It was around a 7hr day trip, which sounds tiring, but for the most part, you are sat in the aircon of the van watching the world go past whilst heading to each stop. Pedro took us on many “photo-stops” where we could look around and take some photos, and a couple of places where you had more time to explore the area. We visited the statues of the two kings, where Pedro insightfully explained the history of the island. We visited the old capital of the canaries, which is a beautiful little town with great coffee! And the popcorn beaches to name a few. All in all, this is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to get a feel for the island in its entirety. I would recommend doing this trip first before anything else, as you may see some things you want to come back for later on during your stay.
Had fun packed day with Pedro ( Don ) on Wednesday 9th September 2026. Brand new air conditioned vehicle. Excellent knowledge of all the unspoilt scenery & history of Fuerteventura. Tour guide can speak 5 different languages & new all the best cafe & restaurants which added to an excellent experience never to be forgotten. Gracias ☺️
Absolutely fab day with Pedro a very happy easy going guide , very knowledgeable about the whole Island and more
So let me start by saying as a flight attendant and frequent traveller I do a lot of tours. Over 20 years I can count on one hand the ones that weren't great and sadly this was one of them. I booked through get your guide and usually the day before they will reach out to confirm time etc but they didn't. No big deal but then the morning of the tour, an hour before Pierre called me and said 8.40am and not 8.45am. When I said 5 minutes was neither here nor there he made it clear he would not wait. His manner was a bit off and this should have been the first sign it was his way or nothing. We were on time and when he arrived he took the rucksack off us and put it in the boot with the dog ( Kenzo was the highlight by far) We could have kept the bag at our feet but again he had his rules. I had just bought a coffee to go and he told me I could not take it in the car even though it had a lid. It is called takeaway coffee for a reason. He took it off me and threw a whole coffee in the bin. As someone who knows good hospitality and how to ensure your guests are happy this was not a good start. I take coffee on all my tours and its never an issue. I understand his car his rules but please put this on the "not allowed" section of get your guide then I would have known and not booked the tour save an issue all round. We spent most of the tour in the car so it would be nice to have been in a more relaxed environment. We drove for 2 hours before we had a toilet and coffee stop by which point i couldn't wait to get out of the car. Don't get me wrong however i can say he is very knowledgable and passionate about the island. He also never asked our names until the end which i found odd especially as there were just 7 of us. We have lovely photos of our tour guides over the years and some have become friends so this tour despite being an amazing way to see the island was dissappointing. We spent around £200 for 6.5 hours and 3 adults and I just felt my money could have been better spent elsewhere. At one point he even drove off as we arrived at the pick up point on time might I add, leaving us feeling we had been left behind ( for some reason I felt this would be a possibility with him). He turned the car around and came back but I felt this was a bit sly. The lunch stop ( not included in the price) is a group booking at a restaurant of his choosing which again not ideal so we bowed out of that which he was ok with. We bought a few drinks from there but the staff just seemed run off their feet and not the best service so glad we just used the time to wander Ajuy instead. He is not horrible by any means, he speaks with such enthusiasm about the island and his driving was good and he kept us safe but thats about it. He never offered to take any photos of us as a family and despite it being advertised with a/c he it wasn't on and he had his front window open instead. When we got back in the car and started to mess with the vents and turn it on higher for some cool air he made a snide comment. The dog Kenzo was a delight and the highlight! and we did get to see most of the island which was good. But it won't be a tour guide we look back on with fond memories sadly. Maybe it was an off day or a clash of personalities and I am sure given the response to another negative review left this won't be taken with humility but as I say I know having done hundreds of tours that what I felt was valid. Not a tour I would wish to repeat as when I am on holiday I want the good vibes only.
Excellent excursion from start to finish! We visited beautiful places with breathtaking views. Everything was very well explained and perfectly organized. A big thank you to Pierre for his kindness, professionalism, and for taking the time to explain everything in French, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Special mention to his dog Kenzo, who is absolutely adorable and made the day even more memorable! I highly recommend this tour.🐶🌴☀️
We travelled from Lanzarote to Fuerteventura by ferry for this trip, which was fun. The maximum number of people that can be catered for on this trip is 8, and we were a group of 8, so we figured it would be more intimate and personal as it was just us. We enjoyed the sights, and the island has some lovely sights, but our guide was more worried about his vehicle than us. We weren't allowed to open our doors when getting in and out of the 8-passenger van because of the wind. Our bags had to stay in the back. We got scolded for touching the air conditioner in the back because he thought we were turning it up. He only wanted 1 window in the front open at any one time, as it gave him a sore eye! And the 3 people at the back of the van couldn't hear a word he said the whole journey!! We had asked a couple of basic questions, but his response left us that we were afraid to ask anything after that!! It said when booking to bring a swimsuit as there was a beach where we could swim. That never happened, as he told us it was too dangerous to swim at the beach we stopped at. The island is definitely worth a visit, but not with this group!!!
My partner and I did this tour on Wednesday. Pedro was an amazing guide with a great sense of humour and his dog kenzo stole our hearts! We saw the hotspots of fuerteventura and Pedro was so knowledgeable on all areas. He even took us to the popcorn beach which wasn’t in the itinerary! The restaurant we went to as a group was also amazing! Overall an amazing experience and worth every penny to see beautiful locations across the whole island :) Thank you Pedro and Kenzo!!!
Great guide, enthusiastic & knowledgeable
A wonderful day with Pierre. Fun, informative and a great way to see the island.
A superb day out with Pierre and his dog, Kenzo. Pierre has amazing linguistic skills, jumping between several different languages without hesitation. Very very knowledgeable about Fuertaventura including its agriculture, history, volcanoes and so much more. While, at the same time, making it such fun and enjoyable. Also with musical accompaniment. He took us to some amazing locations but also travelling through stunning landscapes and mountains. The natural parks and truly breathtaking views of cliffs, beaches and bays were an absolute delight. Would I go with him again? Well this is our 6th time and am already looking forward to our trip with him next year - boat ride and exploring Lobos Island. Now you’ve read this - just go ahead and book!!
Fuerteventura Grand VIP island tour review. Thank you Pedro for a wonderful day. Your knowledge of the island was amazing. Put a lot effort into the day. Got to see as much as possible. He has a great sense of humour. Which made our time fun as well as interesting. Thanks again Pedro Douglas and Lorna Baird
I cannot recommend Fuertecharter highly enough! I did the panoramic tour today as a solo traveler and felt completely at ease from start to finish. There were six of us in total, and the group dynamic was fantastic. Our guide, Pierre, was wonderful, not only is he incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, but he is also impressively trilingual! A special highlight was meeting his dog, Kenzo, who joined us for the day and was absolutely adorable. We visited so many hidden gems I never would have found on my own. We had a lovely lunch at a restaurant in Ajuy right on the beach with stunning views. If you want a seamless, fascinating, and friendly way to see the island, book this tour!
What a brilliant tour of the island. Pepe was fantastic. There was lots of information about the island, its geology and history. Saw some lovely places including El Cotillo, La Oliva, Ajuy caves, churches, villages, spectacular scenery, and more.
We spent a lovely day with Pierre and his adorable dog, Kenzö. Pierre was an amazing host and guide. His warmth, humour and knowledge made this a great tour. We were picked up and dropped off near our cruise ship. The pace was unhurried, allowing several scenic places to be highlighted. A highly recommended introduction to Fuerteventura. Hidden gems and photos don't do justice to --- you need to see them all in person! We were sad when the tour was over. Thank you Pierre and Kenzö. We wish you all the very best :)
We had an incredible 6-hour tour with Pierre and his lovely dog, Kenzo. As a group of 4 German and 4 English speakers, we were so impressed by how flawlessly Pierre switched between languages. Traveling in a comfortable minivan, we reached remote spots in Fuerteventura’s interior and stunning coastal areas that larger buses just can't access. Highlights: Expert Guiding: Pierre made the day engaging, informative, and fun. Scenic & Remote Locations: We visited historic Betancuria, traversed thrilling mountainous hairpin bends, and explored beaches on the west coast. Unbeatable Views: The 360-degree stops at Mirador de Guise y Ayose and Sicasumbre were breathtaking. Cozy Atmosphere: The small group (max 8) made it feel exclusive, with great music and well-timed coffee/lunch stops. It is truly the best way to see the island's volcanic landscapes. Do not hesitate to book this tour!
Had a wonderful tour with Pierre and Kenzo who were very knowledgeable of the island, they showed us the best spots and ensured we all were comfortable and having fun throughout. Would definitely recommend, had such a good day - thank you. All the best
This is a great way to see more of the island than just the resort you’re staying it. Pierre was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide.
We were picked up and dropped off at our cruise ship. We spent a very happy day being driven round the island in a very comfortable minibus. The guide was both fun and informative....and we were delighted he had his gorgeous little dog with him! We stopped at so many beautiful places during the day. The only negative is the provider's text and TripAdvisor's email gave different start times, which was very confusing.
Great views, covered all areas. Loved the cute dog Kenzo Travelled the length and width of the island
Amazing Island. Drived deep into the island and seen lots of amazing scenes. Very kind and energetic guide. Enjoy it so much the whole day.
We were amazed at the difference between the coasts, the west is dramatic and beautiful, the east is calmer. We went up mountains, learned some history and spent some time in the old capital which is so calm and green. A great day out
We took this tour by Pierre (Pedro) and his delightful companion, Kenzo the dog, on the recommendation of David from the Tourist i Centre in Corralejo. We were not disappointed. I am not quite sure which of the several Fuertetickets Island Tours we did as Pierre navigated to avoid heavy rain showers in the aftermath of Storm Emilia. The route ensured plenty stops in small towns and villages with, churches, buildings and community art. There were also amazing viewpoints to experience the unique Fuerteventura scenery. Pierre did not just have great knowledge of Fuerteventura, he displayed a deep love for the island and its culture. We also saw how Fuerteventura was before tourism arrived. Towards the end of the trip Pierre drove through shrinking agricultural villages and towns before taking us through the heart of Puerto del Rosario explaining how the young people preferred to work in tourism than in the fields and wanted to live in a town. Throughout the tour Pierre entertained us with so many stories about the history of Fuerteventura but also commented, in a very balanced way, about the present day politics of the island's economy and government. This trip was the complete antithesis of a tour in a 50 seater coach!!! It was a unique, personal and very special way to end our first holiday in Fuerteventura. Thank you Pierre and Kenzo!
The tour was really good, seen a lots of things in one day and really enjoyed. Thank you so much, highlight of our holiday :))
The tour was absolutely amazing. We saw all the highlights listed in the itinerary and many more on Dec 6. Pick up and drop off at our hotel went smoothly. Our guide Pierre - a real polyglot - ensured that we were comfortable at all times. Since not all people spoke English, he gave all the explanations in both English and German - surely an extra effort for him which is greatly appreciated! I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone interested in getting to know more about Fuerteventura!
Pierre was an excellent Guide & driver. Very informative and helpful. On the downside we could have done with one more toilet stop and the restaurant that he took us to for lunch was rather expensive and the food was average. That said everything else on the tour was very good.
Very enjoyable trip. Pierre, the driver and guide was informative and helpful. Not ideal for people with medical conditions that require frequent visits to the toilet. The only other issue was that the restaurant that Pierre recommended for lunch was expensive and not particularly good. Average at best.
Pierre was a great guide and he took us to all the hidden mountain villages and farms. The scenery he showed us was awe-inspiring and we spent a good deal of time at the top of the island. It was a nice chilled out vibe and we fell in love with Pierre's sweet little dog Kenzo. Thanks for a fascinating day Pierre!
Great day out, went to all the main places great info. Would recommend .Driver had excellent knowledge and his dog is beautiful 😍
We had a great day on the tour. Pierre was knowledgeable and good company along with his gorgeous dog Kenzo. It was great to see the island this way and we enjoyed the experience.
Pierre was a wonderful guide and host of our tour today. He is very knowledgeable and took us to some spectacular sites around the island. Kenzo is also very friendly 😉. A great way to see the island and learn about its history and geological features. Highly recommend.
I saw all the island alowing me to pick bits i want to return to on anouther day. I also gained a respect for the island and its people from our guide. It was very good value for money.
This trip is fantastic!! Pierre is an amazing guide - very very knowledgeable about the history of the Island and tell you all about it in a fun way. Because this trip has a maximum of 8 people it’s really comfortable and means the day is really flexible. Book with Pierre as this was so much better than a previous tour I did on a big bus with lots of nationalities where the guide has to repeat everything in all the languages, plus rigid times and locations. And if you are lucky you might get to meet Kenzo!
very good day out, saw a lot of stuff and Pierre is very good with his historical knowledge, would recommend, oh yeah make sure you meet Kenzo
We had a great day out with Pierre our guide who was friendly and very knowledgeable. The weather was perfect and so was the lunch location Pierre took us to.
We were picked up from our hotel and then collected another 6 people. Pierre was our driver and guide and he brought along his dog Kenzo. I know some people will think why is he bringing his dog but don’t let this put you off as Kenzo is so nice you’ll want to take him home. The trip set off from Corralejo and heads west through the mountains and volcanos down the west coast and returns up the east. Pierre is a brilliant guide with lots of history about the island. There are a few stops for photo opportunities and a stop for lunch. (Not included). Although it’s a long day you do get to see a lot of the island and it is well worth seeing. Tip take sunscreen, water and wear trainers as you can walk to see the caves.
Excellent trip. Lovely sights to see Guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the places we visited and telling us the names of the volcanoes on our journey.
Had a great day with Pedro, kept us entertained all day with interesting facts about the island and his excellent DJ skills 😁
Very well organized. All spots well described. Very knowledgeable. Great music. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He was a really kind guide who explained everything clearly and with a slight bit of humor as well. I am definitely planning to come again. I recommend this guide to everyone.
Our trip was amazing! Our guide Pierre was friendly and knowledgeable - we had a fun time making memories with some spectacular backdrops of Fuerteventura. Highly recommend 😎🤩😁
Had a great day with the dynamic duo Pierre and Kenzo! Our first time on Fuertventura and after landing on the island and comparing it with landing on the moon, this tour really changed our pov of the island. We were with a great group. Time flies when your having fun. Those 7 hours were well spent. Want to learn more of the island and have an entertaining day? Book this day trip! Big thank you for Pierre, Kenzo and the other daytrippers! Spoiler alert, Pierre loves t shirts with teddy bears on it. Hans & Natalie
What an amazing day my partner and I had seeing Fuerteventura up close and personal. From the warm welcome that Pierre gave picking us up we knew it was going to be a fun and relaxing day. Pierre crammed so much into the tour, not just the places we visited but his knowledge holds no boundaries. If there is one tour you take whilst visiting Corralejo make sure you take this one, I cannot recommend Pierre enough. I wish to thank Pierre and Kenzo 🐶 for hosting a wonderful experience and furnishing us with some long lasting memories ❤️
Great day with Pierre and his companion Kenzo. Pierre was very knowledgeable about the places we went and it was a very fun tour for us all. Highly recommend booking this tour as Pierre and Kenzo was superb and great value for money.
What a brilliant day, plenty of history , laughter and humour. Fantastic trip and such a cute companion Kenzo the dog. Pierre , Pedro, Peter 😂 was so entertaining. Mixed company with two Dutch families and one other English family, which brought more humour and interest to the trip. Thank you very much Mark & Sophie 😃🍺
Pieter (Pedro) was a fantastic tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable and good fun. I learnt alot about the island and would highly recommend this tour and guide.
Guide Pierre was fantastic so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his job he made it a pleasure and Kenzo was the icing on the cake. Great doggy companion. We enjoyed all the elements and got to see the island which was a plus for us. We would have loved some downtime at the beach to be factored in but understand it’s a tight schedule.
Great day out with Pierre…very informative and helpful and we saw the true beauty of the island…volcanoes, caves, dunes and beaches. Snack and lunch stops were to be recommended…and Kenzo…star dog, my children loved having him along for the ride…
