Itinerary
Once the pick-ups are finished, you will leave the hotel zone behind, heading for Villa de Candelaria. There you can visit its basilica, inside which is the Virgen de Candelaria (or Virgen Morenita), who is the patron saint of the Canary Islands. You will also be surprised by the imposing bronze statues that commemorate the ancient menceyes (Guanche kings) of Tenerife, and which constitute a national monument.
The excursion continues to the north of the island, where you will take a walking route through the Historic-Artistic Site of Villa de La Orotava. Its streets full of history and beauty will take you to La Casa de Los Balcones, one of the most representative buildings in La Orotava and a center for embroidery and fretwork of typical Canarian costumes.
We will continue with the visit to Garachico, included in 2021 in the list of "MOST BEAUTIFUL VILLAGES IN SPAIN" a town that after being partially destroyed by a volcanic eruption in 1706 was later rebuilt. It currently has a rich architectural heritage from the 16th and 17th centuries that is very well preserved, which is why its historic center was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in 1994. You will have free time to have lunch on your own or enjoy the local cuisine in one of the restaurants that we recommend.
On the way back to the south of the island we will enter the Teno Rural Park to visit the picturesque Masca farmhouse, one of the most beautiful landscapes in Tenerife where nature and one of the best examples of traditional architecture are mixed. from the Canary Islands

This was a very enjoyable experience - touring around most of the island visiting some very interesting historical places such as Candelaria and Oratava and seeing some stunning scenery. Our guide gsve us alot of interesting information about the places and Tenerife.
Laura the tour guide and Rico (sp?) the driver were excellent. Laura spoke in English and French and was so fun and knowledgeable and spent pyres between stop offs around the island explaining about the history and geography of the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We recommend opting to have a meal at the restaurant they recommend in garachico. We had the best paella I’ve tasted with a view of the ocean. Our favourite Tenerife experience so far.
The trip was cancelled 3 minutes before the coach arrived. Complete waste of our time
Tour is misrepresented no time to see peoples living residence village or their homes No time to see embroidery art craft it in 9ctabio walk up hill to look at museum facade worthless Tour guide talked all about bananas and their growth nothing about people or culture no Canary island history Guide spoke so fast like on fast forward garbled all the time
This tour is worth every penny. You are taken all over the island and have the opportunity to explore the nothern historic part of Tenerife. Peter (our guide) was humourous and knowledgable. This tour involves lots of walking and some steep inclines so wear comfortable shoes. The views along the way are just spectacular and the winding roads demand a very experienced and patient coach driver like ours. The one drawback was the lunch. We were offered to lunch at a Catalonian restaurant for 15 euros which is very reasonable but I would avoid the chicken! Apart from that, it was an excellent tour and a terrific way to tour Tenerife.
There were only two highlights on this trip. The first was the visit to Mount Tiede. Unfortunately we were only allowed a 30 minute stop, which for those who watched the video in the museum left very little time to explore the area around the Roques de Garcia, which gave wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. The second highlight was the trip from the village of Masca back to the main highway. The views were spectacular and the driver’s skills around the hairpin bends is to be commended. However, the bit in the middle was boring to say the least and the trip was overly long (11 1/2 hours from pick up to return). The commentary was repeated in three different languages which was overly loud and annoyed a lot of people as the speakers were directly over your head. Although the tour guide Ivan did his best, it would have been better for him to have announced where the next destination was, and hand out the history of the destination on a sheet of paper for guests to read at their leisure, and then ask question if necessary.
Alonzo & Julian for the best Tenerife Island and Teide National Park tour. Very nice trip full of informations and interesting fact Thank you 🤗
Very nice to see all sides of the island. The stops where very short and i would have liked more time to look around, but what we did see whas very divers. The hairpin bends on the way to and from Masca where a very good exciting end of this trip.
Awful, awful, awful. It felt like we were on the episode of the apprentice with the bad service, lack of knowledge and mis matched tour. We were last on so shoved to the back of the bus, I get very car sick and when I asked if I could sit at the front (or even near the front) I was told it’s too late now and I should have told them before. Not sure what opportunity I would have before, but was dismissed and told to sit in the back. We then found out that one of the windows was blown so you couldn’t see out of it. Bare in mind this is a driving tour, we had a full day not being able to see what we were supposed to be being shown. Not only that, but it felt like we were on the apprentice with the way we were herded like cattle to every coffee shop and souvenir shop in sight. Pushed and pushed to buy things (and clearly hit their sales quota) then we were herded back on the bus with no time to actually see the sights, explore or take in the surroundings. The tour guide also seemed to just be reading from a script and answered a few questions of ours wrong (we went to the tourist info and got correct info so we know she was wrong). Then to top it off we were told we were being ‘unfair’ for voicing our dissatisfaction to the staff as they ‘just work for the company and it’s nothing to do with them’ All in all, a waste of a days holiday and hopefully this review will save you from wasting a day of yours.
Our guide Peter by far. He is singing untune but with all his heart. A great entertainer ! And his comments were relevant and accurate.
Very nice seeing the real island in stead of just the beach. Very good instructor. Funny man! Tuutuutututututuuuuuu
It Washington be à pressure to yake this Day trip Thr équipe are professionnel and super gentil ,i recommanded for all thé People to visit trnerife usally with your compagny because il enjoy envery well moments
Great tour and wonderful guide who spoke many languages so everyone could understand. The group was small and manageable.
I have done many islands tours of Tenerife. This was a first for my husband. The driver was amazing and Juan our tour guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and passionate. Super friendly and professional. All the stops were great. My favourite being Masca. I wouldn’t hesitate to do this tour again. A lovely day.
Really recommend this activity. A full day of exploring many places on the island. The guide was really knowledgeable and informative and had time to answer any questions asked.
Javier was an excellent tour guide with an expansive knowledge of Tenerife’s history and each of the sites we visited. The driver was very proficient too, and skilled at navigating the hair pin bends that’s an added thrill on the journey home! This is the second time I’ve taken this tour, but the quality of the experience was much higher with this operator.
5 star day out Loved every min Easy pick up Great guide Safe driver Cool comfortable coach Weather perfect ☺️
An amazing experience, with a friendly tour guide and bus driver. Fluent in all languages. Everything was well explained
We were wanting to do Tiedi and Masca so this tour felt appropriate for us. Its a full on day and alot of time spent on the coach. We particularly loved masca and the breath taking views as you wind your way up and down. We had a very knowledgeable guide fluent in many languages and an excellent driver navigating the narrow winding roads. My only feedback would be... It was over an hour collecting and waiting for people before we actually left the resort area. Our guide talked too much. Non stop the entire trip. It was information overload and a few of us just wanted to relax and admire the scenery We had only 20 mins at Masca. Whilst not much there 45 mins would be more relaxing to take in the views and walk down into the village. Otherwise reccomend and certainly worth the money.
We had a super day with Isabel and Driver Fredrico. What a great team taking us around this beautiful island. Well paced, informative, varied sights and plenty of time. Masca was a real treat with hair pin turns and nail biting moments but Fredrico mastered the driving with ease. Isabel was like a walking guide book of the island and very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to spend the day with them. Candeleiro was a quaint little place and LA Laguna was impressive. Garachico also was highlighted. We had a wheelchair but no problem at all and we enjoyed our guided your immensely. Thank you for a wonderful day exploring and getting acquainted with Tenerife and its many secrets.
Excellent your, incredible scenery, very knowledgeable guide and brilliant driver. Highly recommended
Alexis guided us through the day perfectly. It was a great day trip, my expectations were 100% met. Thank you
I loved the return to the island, as a local I learned much more about tenerife on this excursion and it was the first time I went to masca which is beautiful, thanks especially to the guide Peter, the driver and the Atlantic organization, that it is not easy to manage so many stops in such a short time. Amazing!
Despite a super friendly and hilarious polyglot guide, I regret the little time spent at each stage. Even when preparing, setting out alone and at a run, it is not possible to see more than the local clichés, and completely impossible to immerse yourself in the places. Good to get a first idea and know where to return while taking your time.
We had a day trip through Northwest Tenerife with the Dutch guide Peter. A very nice and enthusiastic guide. We have seen beautiful places and it is definitely worth booking this excursion.
Masca, spectacular. Garachico, La Orotava, La Laguna, do not miss them. Friendly people everywhere. Peter, the guide: entertaining, fun, competent, punctual and knowing how to awaken interest and respect for the island, its history and traditions. The program can be a bit loaded to travel with young children, because many places are visited and it is inevitable to spend quite a bit of time on the bus.
This excursion allowed us to know the island with beautiful landscapes on the Marcus side The most were the explanations in French
Nice tour. You get a good impression of the island of Tenerife. More than enough explanation of the guide. Only downside is lunch. Unfriendly service. Only be able to order something outside their standard menu via the guide. If you can just have a little bite to eat nearby. I can recommend the trip for those who want to see the different sides of the island. Highly recommended (y)
Very attentive guide (Samuel), who has not stopped telling us things during the journey. Tour of the island very complete (with driver Solomon).
