Itinerary
Every Thursday at 10:30 a.m., we invite you to a guided tour of your farm in Puerto Naos. We will meet you at the beach entrance of your finca, PlatanoLògico, and guide you inside. You'll learn about the natural smart design of ecosystems as viewed in your finca, the fascinating matriarchy of banana trees, the importance of good production for good nutrition, and how we coexist with volcanoes. The experience lasts between 90 and 120 minutes. There's not much walking, and there's shade and places to sit while we share our knowledge. At the end, we enjoy a cup of solar tea together.

A very interesting lesson about plants and especially bananas. A very dedicated, well informed and nice guide. Very close to the village of Puerto Naos and the beach.
It was absolutely amazing experience. I could have never imagined spending around 2,5 hours in a banana farm. All thanks to Fran and the interesting information which he provided. The finishing touch with some platano tasting and delicias tea with various herbs was great! Thank you so much and lots of luck and strength to all the negocio agrículo. I recommend to all this lovely experience!
It was an absolutely beautiful experience. Absolutely recommended!!! You don't just learn a lot here about plane trees and bananas, but also about life. We are all interconnected Just like nature. It makes you realize again that we must treat our planet, our nature, and our environment more consciously. We humans also need to go through life again with more mindfulness and appreciation for one another and for nature. The tour was absolutely top-notch. He puts his whole life, knowledge, and heart into the plantation, and it is very important to him that we go home again with knowledge and happiness. He does it in a very funny way, so that children also have fun. The goats that looked through the holes. Were also very entertaining and provided a few laughs. The tea made with solar energy was very, very delicious. Guys, check it out. You will take something away, each in your own way, but everyone leaves with a different worldview. It was very, very nice, and we will do it again next time when we are on La Palma. Many thanks, Tanja and Tom
A lovingly informative tour through the plantation. Small banana tasting with tea. Small groups. Anytime gladly again.
The visit was definitely worth it. It is both educational and entertaining, thanks to Fran's passionate, dedicated, and illustrative presentation style. One learns a great deal, starting from the role of cooperation in nature to the bananas/the cultivation including the economic aspect, this special farm amidst monoculture plantations, up to nutrition and more. The fruits tasted delicious during the tasting with homemade ginger tea - we were fortunate that both large and small bananas were ripe. Communication: Fran switches so seamlessly between Spanish and English that one hardly notices he is presenting bilingually, and one can easily follow him. Many thanks and all the best, Team Platanologico!
The visit was very entertaining and Fran is a very interesting character with many things to tell. It is not a visit to use, so I recommend it for people with sensitivities for ecology and healthy food, and for slightly older children who can follow the explanations. By the way, the tea he offered us at the end was delicious.
Interesting and educational tour by an inspired guide. Here, the importance of being very wise with our green world was emphasised once again.
Very nice plantation and good information, also in English.
Great experience. Full of information offered with sympathy and professionalism. Two hours flying in a heartbeat. I highly recommend attending one of these events.
Enthusiastic guide, beel info about banana bushes, ecosystem and biodiversity, fun with children. Much attention to organic food, conscious living. At the end of tasting of 2 types of bananas, papaya, energetic drink / tea of ginger, lemongrass. To recommend, very educational!
I would describe this as an esoteric post like another visitor and rarely do you get solid information in the nearly 3 hours. The banana grower also speaks very poor English. I also call 30 € for the tour completely overpriced. Too bad about nasty time ind the Gelf.
When you arrive there is a spacious parking space. You gathered at a clear sign in the shape of a banana. Fran , a friendly enthusiastic man takes you (up a lot of stairs, but even with the walker no problem, take it easy) to a nice shady spot. Lots of (useful) info, a nice (short) walk. Funny, time for questions, relaxed and delicious bananas and tea to finish
A wonderful experience! Fran brings and a sustainable, profound lifestyle closer - which we personally represent at home. In harmony with nature and never against it! He lives his banana plantation, you learn an incredible amount (including about the volcanic eruption), get bananas and tea. He's a wonderful guy and that's definitely part of a visit to La Palma!
This was a very special experience! Fran knows a lot about the food industry and about sustainable farming, especially bananas. No chemicals are used and 'enemies' of the banana are fought with natural enemies, instead of chemical. You will see the food industry very differently, it is definitely worth a visit. It is not expensive, the proceeds of the tours are directly reinvested in the company, the bananas are EU organic. At the end of the visit you get a cup of delicious 'solar tea' with of course a nice banana.
It was an amazing experience a different way of sightseeing. Fran the owner of the farm, gave us a masterclass in agroecology and sustainability and we learned a lot. Highly recommended to go with children, to learn about the importance of caring for the environment.
