Double Tuk Tuk Tour In Costa Adeje

My wife and I booked the Tuk Tuk tour when on holiday in Tenerife! We had an amazing time & our guide, Marcus , was great! We had a great tour of the island and saw quite a few areas we didn't even know about , including the 5 star Duque area... was great value and totally recommended for couples or families! 😎😁

This was honestly one of the best trips EVER! Please do it! We saw all around Tenerife and as a result had some amazing meals and amazing walks because of the trip. The guide was amazing, so knowledgeable, gave us amazing information on history of the area and took some fab photos of us with some great back drops. I would say the trip was 10/10 but the guide made it 100/100. Loved everything about and well worth the money. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

The tuk tuk tour was great! Tony, our guide, was friendly and very knowledgeable of the areas we visited. We stopped twice, in nice spots and enjoyed the scenery. Highly recommended two hour excursion.

The whole experience was amazing there were 5 of us total on the tour and it was really good, the tuktuk is slightly cramped but there’s more than enough stops so you don’t cramp up or anything just not a ton of leg room but you do have the option for a private tour as well but the tour guide was very educated and knowledgeable and was also willing to take pictures and pose us haha. Overall an amazing experience for couples or the older crowd probably wouldn’t suggest it to the thrill seeking crowd or to children. Staff member was very friendly and because there were no children some of the rules on the tuktuk were a little bit more flexible. Price was amazing for everything you get from stunning ocean views to hotel recommendations to the islands history. I genuinely got lost with time so I can’t say exactly how long it was because it was genuinely a really Interesting tour but I would probably set aside 2-3 hrs especially because we were offered the option to stop for a drink / food but nobody in our group was interested. So overall really good and we will be back May 2027

I cannot comment on the quality of the tour itself because I never had the opportunity to take part. Before the tour, I sent a message asking whether hotel pick-up was available, but I never received a response. I therefore booked an Uber to the address listed on the company’s website, only to discover that it was not the actual departure point and was about a five-minute walk away. I immediately called the company to explain the situation. Rather than trying to help, I was told rather abruptly that they were “not a taxi service” and I should make my own way. I said I would walk to the meeting point, and I was assured they would wait 10 minutes. I arrived in less than 10 minutes, but the tour had already left. When I called again, the attitude had completely changed. I was told the situation was my fault, that no refund would be offered, and that I should take the matter up with Uber because I had been dropped at the wrong location—even though I had travelled to the address published by the company. What disappointed me most was the way I was spoken to. The communication was rude, confrontational and unprofessional. After I asked whether a refund would be considered, I received follow-up messages repeating the same accusations rather than any attempt to resolve the issue. I found the tone intimidating and completely lacking in customer care. If the correct meeting point differs from the address on the website, this should be made very clear to customers before the day of the tour. A simple response to my original message or waiting the promised 10 minutes could have avoided the entire situation. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company due to the poor communication and lack of customer service.

Excellent way to get to know Adeje. The guide gave us excellent recommendations.

Driver very good was polite and talked us through the route and had lots of general knowledge on the area we was kept upto date on everything definitely recommend

Excellent experience. Ricky was welcoming, friendly and knowledgable. Private two hour trip was great fun, including a couple of stops for taking photos / viewing the surroundings.

A fun and informative open air ride. Our driver gave a lot of information about the different towns and neighborhoods.

We were picked up outside GF fanabe hotel for our 1 hour tour.. we are a family of three and there was also another two people already on their own tour, this made it very cramped.. you got to see a lot of areas in Costa Adeje you wouldn't normally see, we had a stop in La Caleta, which is a lovely quiet area and very beautiful

Our driver-guide was Samuel. He was punctual and very knowledgeable of the city and of the whole island. He brought us to lookouts of the city and of banana plantations that we would not have gone on our own. He was very friendly and flexible and paid attention to the four of us. It was a two-hour excursion that was really worth it at the beginning of our vacation!

Ricky was a very good informative driver, unfortunately we were unlucky with the weather and got a bit wet!

Great trip to see parts of the south side of the island. Unfortunately the day we did our tour it was extremely hazy due to the Sarah dust, so visibility was extremely poor from the main scenic points.

Booked this as the weather was bad and other trips were cancelled. It turned out to be a great short trip. The tour guide was very informative and knew lots of interesting facts about the area. A nice way to get your bearings, but only 2 stops to actually walk and get photos

Great time Marcos are drive was great , I would do it again. you get to see all the sites get a little history and the driver is great. It was a wonderful tour.

Easy to book and meet at pick up. Good small tour (2 hrs) getting to see some of the different places which if time is limited you might not get to see. Tuk Tuk is small we were 4 which was ok, it would be tight with 6 adults though. Seats are small and floor high so need to review it you have any joint issues as access and seating could be difficult

The guide was pleasant but the tuk tuk coach was shockingly unsuitable in size and comfort. We had booked for 4 adults, there were already 2 Danish passengers inside as we attempted to board the vehicle, which was advertised as suitable for 6 people. Despite using a small step as an aid, I had difficulty in mounting and at the same time lowering my head to avoid the roof bars. My sister could not manage this manoeuvre at all and so had to forego the 2 -hour tour, her husband stayed behind too so that she would not be left alone on the pavement. The tuk tuk bench seat was very low to the base, the space between each bench was narrow, making leg room awkward, and the length of the bench could never have held 6 adults. We saw another tuk tuk at one of the stops and 2 men had to help a female passenger disembark then assist her in getting on board again. I felt constrained during the tour, was conscious of encroaching on the space of the Danish couple, and kept looking at my watch hoping the end would come soon. These vehicles are not for those with even mild mobility problems, only the very slender, light-weight and youthful adult should consider booking the tour.

Adam made us very well informed. Loads of lovley views without having to walk miles. It's a chilled no rush trip

We had a great time on our double tuk tuk tour last week. We have never done this before but it was really worth a try for a fun activity and something a bit different to do. Laura our guide was lovely and friendly and took us to lots of interesting places and we learnt quite a bit that we didn’t know already about an island we have visited a lot - so that was good! The tour was at least a good couple of ours and we got to stop a couple of times, alight the tuk tuk and take photos, have a quick walk or get more interesting facts. So I would say this tour is definitely worth what you pay. I particularly liked La Caleta - it’s lovely there! Would 100% recommend.

This is a super 2 hour trip to understand your way around Costa Adeje and the local towns. Love the views from La Caleta. Gave it a 4 rather than a 5, as it’s impossible to hear what the guide says when she is driving as there is no microphone. However, we did feed this back at the time and she then adjusted and saved the commentary to when we stopped.

We visited Tenerife due to my son’s wedding. I knew nothing about the location prior to the trip but highly recommend. It was fabulous!

We had Jamie for our tour and we had so much fun on the and he was really funny whilst still giving us information and he took a cracking photo for us loved it

Lovely experience. The tour was for 2 hours and Jaimie our guide was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. There were 6 of us and the tuc tuc was comfortable. Enjoyed the history and the sites.

We were unable to take this tour because my advisor had no idea of what she was talking about. I specifically told her the name of my ship and the docking date. She said it would be a 20 minute ride to the pickup point. Imagine our surprise when we were told it would be a 60 minute ride each way at a cost of $125 each way. Add this to our $229 initial cost put this trip over $500. This was way beyond the budget of 2 couples who were retired and handicapped. We were forced to forego the tour because of the prohibitive cost. We would like a refund since none of this was of our doing.

Absolutely fabulous Benjamin our guide was so informative and made our experience so enjoyable One person in our party was a wheelchair user and he was able to accommodate her to see all the tour and meet all her needs with dignity and support

Tour operator was very nice and extremely helpful, but could hardly understand her. Very heavy accent.

If you want to see the Adeje area find out the good bad & indifferent, get driven in style up and down the hills a two hour private tour is the answer! Benji our Austrian tour guide and driver was excellent at showing us around, we started 10 minutes late because his last tour was caught in traffic but we had this explained and we still got 2 hours plus. A private tour for the three of us was well worth the money and we had a very enjoyable time which I recommend to everyone!

Our tour guide was lovely and drove us around the area for an hour with one other couple then picked up another couple for the second hour. Six people was a squash and a squeeze and there was very little leg room. Unfortunately there really isn’t that much to see in the area - mostly just big hotels. We were taken to the top of a hill to see a banana plantation and the view from the top was spectacular but nothing else much that you couldn’t see by walking along the boardwalk from playa americas to la caletta. A great tour guide but probably not worth doing.

Great little tour around Adege. We were well informed when there was a small delay. Only 4 of us as passengers which was great ....if 6 would be a little 'cosy'. Unfortunately I suffered a fall in Caleta at end of tour, driver Benjamin was excellent and rushed off to get ice etc..Thank you!

Most amazing couple of hours was really good fun and visited some parts of the island that I didn’t even know existed the guy was really knowledgeable tested out my daughter Spanish as she’s fluent which was so lovely to hear

We were able to see the entire city in 2 hours. He stopped a few times for photo opportunities, and was very knowledgeable about the city. I would definitely recommend the TukTuk tour.

We had a lovely tour of the area and saw some amazing sights including the banana plantation and beaches. Our driver was so knowledgeable and wanted to make sure that we enjoyed the trip so modified to meet our interests eg stayed longer in one place and shorter in another. Sorry forgot his name but was from Latvia. The only recommendation for improvement is clearer instructions for pick up. The pick up point is not at Hotel Best Jacaranda but on the opposite side of the roundabout at the shops, opposite the hotel. It’s not obviously signposted until you get to the correct spot. This didn’t spoil our trip as we had arrived early but worth considering changing the instructions to clarify this. We had arrived early private tuk tuk and really enjoyed it. Our son, wife and son shared a tuk tuk and enjoyed the experience too.

It’s an easier way to see Costa Adeje. A excellent way to see the area. The driver was knowledgeable and considerate. 2 hours well spent.

Good trip around different areas with interesting facts and photo opportunities. We couldn’t go to one area due to a festival but had a drink in a bar instead.

Wonderful trip. Best tuk tuk tour we have been on. Definitely worth the price. Went slowly too, so completely safe. Took us to places we wouldn’t have thought of going. Loved it. Plus he has blankets as it got a bit colder high up. Fantastic trip.

This is a really good "taster" tour of the Costa Adeje area of Tenerife in a 100% electric vehicle! You will see the Caldera del Rey and the banana plantation inside, the Duque area, the black sand beach at Playa Enramada and the La Caleta fishing village. Great for getting an idea of this part of the island. The tour itself was good but what made it excellent was the guide Elizabeth (Eli). Such great knowledge and so many interesting facts, she made it a really fantastic experience- thank you Eli! Handy hint - it can get a bit windy as you're driving around, especially higher up. Recommend wearing trouser/pants/shorts, not a skirt or dress!

It was a truly wonderful experience! Our tour guide, Tony, was exceptional—he explained all the sites in great detail and made the tour both informative and enjoyable. His enthusiasm and knowledge added so much value to the experience. Highly recommend!
