Double Jet Ski In Playa Chica

Sadly our jet ski experience didn’t happen due to an error with the staff We asked for the jet ski safari - 45 mins. We were told this wasn’t available on the day we went. This wasn’t stated on their leaflet info, after getting a taxi there. We opted for the 20min jet ski duo. We went down some very dodgy slippery steps to the ocean, where people were snorkelling directly next to the boat where we were to board. We waited for about 15 mins for others to board. We then spent about another 10-15 mins going around the ocean to different points to various jet skis. Despite being the first to pay for tickets, we were the last ones on the boat and then they discovered there was no jet ski for us. We were told we were being dropped back to the start point (main office at shore) to sort out the mis-understanding) We were told by another staff member it was our fault that we’d boarded at the wrong time, despite being informed on payment that our time slot was 11:10am We opted to not wait for another slot after being messed about for so long but this company were unorganised and inefficient Disappointing experience Unsafe steps….no prior warning or safety notices to prepare you in advance Poor treatment by staff We were then told to return in sept when it was quieter! Unbelievable really!

I would not recommend the jet ski activity with Paracraft Lanzarote. Our family was very disappointed with our activity. First of all, it was not a jet ski tour like the usual activity nowadays. It was just circling cones in the ocean for 40 minutes. Very boring. However, the main issue was the actual jet ski. Each jet ski was fitted with a location device that automatically slowed the jet ski down if you came "near" another jet ski. I understand safety is very important. However, this was an absolute joke. Our activity basically consisted of us trying to get some speed up in the middle of an ocean, only to be slowed down at each try. The shocking thing was, no other jet ski was anywhere near us. Even when other jet skis were 20/30 metres away, our jet ski was slowed down. It ruined the fun completely! I have never experienced this before when doing a jet ski activity.

Staff were so nice and informative. Had no issues what so ever. My daughter and I went twice. Definitely recommend Paracraft and we will be back next year. So much fun. Thank you.

Incredible experience, the lady on reception was lovely, instructions were clear and staff were very friendly. If you book the 20 minute jet ski it does go very quick (around four laps depending how fast you go)! Also the staff take great photos, and they’re reasonably priced too!

Perfect day out in sunny Lanzarote

I rarely write reviews, unless I feel strongly one way or another, unfortunately was fairly disappointed with the 20 minute jet ski ride at Playa Chica. Once we had been taken on the rib to the jet skis, they gave us the normal instructions, and said that the jet skis power will drop off if you’re within 100 M of another ski, so any overtaking had to be 100M away, which although sounded far, didn’t feel this would be an issue. However, the ski would not allow any overtaking, and actually created a bottleneck for all to the person in front. If you are hoping for a casual jet ski ride, this will be fine, but if you’re after some fun, try elsewhere.

Awesome experience Jet Skiing in Marina Rubicon. Staff were very accommodating- went out their way to make sure we can participate in the activity, especially as we arrived a little late as we lost our way. No prior experience needed. Super helpful and friendly guide (Lenoy), showed us clearly how to use the double Jet Ski and made us feel very safe on the water by leading the way on a separate boat. He gave us the option of switching seats during the activity to take turns driving. We booked a 45-min slot and found that 20 minutes of driving each was perfect for us. Would recommend wearing goggles/ sunglasses as a lot of salty water can get in your eyes. They take photos for you for an additional €20 or if you take your own, we would suggest using a water-proof phone case. This activity was a real highlight!

As a group we descended upon this place and we had seen it earlier in the holiday while out walking. We chose to do the jet skis but better to book direct as the site we booked through gave the impression we all had a jet ski each instead they were all doubles. You have an option of 20or 40 minutes but 20is too quick in my opinion. If you are on a double you can switch over after 20mins. They can travel quite fast so be sure this is the adrenaline rush for you. The staff are quite friendly.

Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of riding a jet ski so now in my 30s I was thrilled to finally go with my 15-year-old daughter. However, the adventure started on a sour note due to the unprofessional and suspicious behavior of the staff. The location was difficult to find, tucked away behind a café, we managed to arrive just in time. The attendant, who was waiting for us, suggested I leave my bag in a locker. To my dismay he refused to give me a key, leaving me incredibly uncomfortable as my purse, phone, and hotel card were inside. Losing these would have been a major issue! Despite my apprehension, we decided to proceed. To my further annoyance, we were forced to buy t-shirts for 5 euros each, with no clear explanation as to why, the man said he’s English wasn’t so good. It felt like a blatant con, adding to my frustration with the whole situation. Nevertheless, we pressed on, and once we got on the jet ski, the experience took a dramatic turn for the better. It took about five minutes to get into the rhythm then we were off. The water was choppy but that was all part of the fun! I would advise wearing googles or fine sort of mask especially if you’re the driver! We had a belt attached to the jet ski and an automatic slowdown feature if we got too close to another jet ski, which was reassuring. Despite the frustrations with the staff, the jet skiing itself turned out to be one of the best experiences I've ever had and I would definitely recommend it!!!

Booked 40 minute double jetski, we had such a fun time the staff are all very friendly and provide a great service e would highly recommend this! 10/10

Booked a buggy tour ( not on the drop down box ), In Puerto Del Carmen, Lanzarote this week. Alex the tour rep was very good explaining controls and lead the way. The route was a mix between off road and road in a 2 seater buggy. Stopped off once and he explained a lot of local things which was good. The reason for 3 stars was that the tour stated 2.5hours and in fact it was barely 1hr 45mins which includes the lift to the buggies and sign in etc so the tour itself maybe 90mins tops. Another pair also commented to Alex about the time on the advert. Other tour operators are also cheaper as this was 150 euros and others state 2 hours for 120. You will need some sorta of face mask which can be bought for 5 euros. You will also need a jumper that they do lend you if you dont bring one for free. The usual pictures taken but its not a hard sell and only 10 euros. All in all its a good experience just not worth it when you consider the cost vs time

Excellent, easy to book and locate. Good photos they take and can download them all for a sensible price to your phone. Nothing to fault

My 2 sons got on the jet ski 70€ for 20minutes the team was Spanish no English and they got 5 minutes and they wouldn’t give a refund I payed 70€ only on it 2 minutes and they only gave 35€ refund only reason is I said I will call the police!!! Avoid like the plague

Our first experience on a jet ski with my daughter, we were really looking forward to it. Very disappointed with the experience and crew attitude. We only had fully throttle x3 times due to the safety 50m gps system (which is great for safety) but there was nothing around us due to it only being on idle. Myself and daughter felt very vulnerable and unsafe due to no power, we tried to get attention by wave our arms for assistance but no one came to help, I managed to get around as far as the first crew boat available, and explained the problem the crew was not interested at all, we was just relieved we got on crew boat. Once these have your payment they are really not interested, and as for safety where was the crew ? I would avoid at all cost, book else where. Also be advised there is very little to none parking, all nearest parking is taken by the scuba schools. I don’t normally leave reviews but we was in a dangerous situation with no help.

Very professional operation. Extremely helpful, informative and safety is paramount there. Nice little restaurant next door with shaded area for those not participating. Will return again.

Beautiful part of Lanzarote. The staff were so friendly and helpful. This was so much fun and you are able to go out really far. Highly recommended.

Second time visiting Paracraft at Playa Chica for jet skiing however my sister has visited for years and tried a variance of their water sports. Always professional and safe. We made an error with the time slot when booking on line but visited one of their team the next morning who was super helpful and changed the booking time without issue. This visit we took our 8 year old grandson on a double jet ski with my daughter in law whilst our son took a single jet ski. My daughter in law said she felt well informed and taken care of and felt safe and confident riding with our grandson. Great experience and will continue to come and visit next time. Definitely recommended. Thank you!

Our 2nd time doing this @ Playa Chico. Loads of fun at a good price, very well organised, friendly guys, would recommend.

Although it was incredibly busy, it was really well organised with clear safety instructions and guidance given. Good quality life jackets and plenty of staff to help out. A massive bonus is that you are taken out to the jet skis, that are moored in the sea, on a very quick boat, getting a feel for speed! The jest skis are top quality and very easy to ride, as along as the instructions are followed! They are very, very quick and stable. Great experience and very highly recommended.

I had a booking for my wife and I on the jetskis! To cut a long story short my wife was unable to go, I contacted Paracraft on the WhatsApp chat and they changed my booking to the following day and gave me a 40 mins time slot instead of the two skis for 20 mins. I've used Paracraft for years now, no hassle, great fun, not really bothered if the boys don't crack a smile as long as they look after us on the water.

We booked through a shop in porta del carmen paid £25 deposit to do the double jet ski . Got to paracraft and was told that they don’t have the double and the man was very confuses by this even tho he has a double jet ski activity advertised on his posters. we were told that we had to go on separate. We walked into their shop to explain the man that we booked the double and he started waving his hand at the door and another employee said can use leave the shop and stand outside. The man then started acting confused when we told him where and when we book the activity and that girl rang him and he confirmed that he had availability. He was acting as if doesn’t use 3rd party shops to advertise even tho we had our recipe to show how much we paid and what activity we were doing. Me and my partner got so feed up with how rude he was and we just walked away No way would I be giving my money someone so rude. Guys please look around before going on first jet ski activity. There is an activity where you go on the buggy and jet ski for £280 for 3 hours rather than £140 for 60 min on jet ski. Wish I done it

From the second we met Simon and his team we knew we were gonna have a great time. The team were all very kind and professional and myself and my fiancé had the best time. Highly recommended 👌

Excellent experience with myself hubby and 2 kids aged 10 & 14. Was very choppy out at sea but didn't take away from the experience. They have gps which slows them down when near another jetski whilst I appreciated the safety of this it was a bit annoying to never really get going on them. But would do it again in a heartbeat. Kids absolutely loved it and now want to do it on every holiday. The guys on the boats were very funny so added to the experience. Also booked the parascending which was amazing! Got to go up in threes so my lucky kids got 2 goes with each parent. Will be returning in a couple of years and will be booking with Paracraft again. Ignore any bad reviews they were great!

Good jet skis, good lay out,the gps location on the jet skis means it cuts out at a array of distances so causes a lot of agro and u can’t get into motion we had 40min double ski and 3 single 40 mins

This company is as bad as it gets. I paid €230 for four jetskis. We were told that we had to wear t-shirts as this was a new policy even though the email confirmation didn’t tell us this. The IQ challenged English guy tried them to sell us t-shirts for €4 a piece. I refused as there were 5 of us. The same guy then tells us we have to stay 30ms apart, which wasn’t unusual as we had been on many jet skis before. The IQ challenged girl then tells us it’s min 40ms and these jet skis have a super doper sat nav system that cuts the ski out if you get too close to another ski. We all boarded the skis and immediately had issues with the skis. We were a minimum of 100ms apart and yet every few seconds the ski would flutter. My nephew was left stranded when his ski ran out of petrol. Every person on the boat back in was complaining. I went to talk to dum and dummer and both said ‘min of 40ms apart’. The girl was so dull is didn’t realise that 100ms was more than 40ms. I requested a refund of some sort and they said I should take this up with Amex, which I am doing. My nephews and son were let down by this shoddy company. Avoid at all costs.

A fab activity for all! We purchased 2 double jet skis, one for 20 minutes and the other for 40 minutes. Checked before hand that we could swap passengers (children) over after 20 minutes on the longer experience. Nothing was a problem! Clear instructions, full time spent on the water. Great experience for all! Ages: 50+, 40, 30, 13 and 10.

Took my daughter on a jet ski for the first time, she absolutely loved it, brought back some fun memories for me! Would 100% do it again.

What a great experience for myself and my 14yr old son.Our first time on a jet ski but from the beginning we were advised on the correct things to do and we had a memorable experience.It is extremely safe for everybody and we would especially like to thank both the girl and boy at the desk for all their help.

Good jet ski but could have had the speed boat closer to us in case of emergency and more instructions with how to ride the jet ski. Good points is professional photos available.

With Paracraft Jet ski/Para-gliding at Playa Chica, our personal belongings were robbed. All the lockers were busted up and not working in the office. We were told leave everything there and they will look after them!!! When we returned, nobody in the office and all our bags were rifled through and several items were stolen. The owners ( two brothers, one in the office and the other who drives the boat ) have a real bad ignorant attitude. Do NOT use this crowd for jet skis/ para gliding !!!! Go somewhere else....

Our experience was amazing! My family and I went to paracraft to go jet skiing and I couldn’t recommend it more, the jet skis had a safety feature where if you went within 50m of another jetski it would slow to a crawl making sure you would not crash, all the skis went 55kmh+ it was amazing, you go around a triangle made out of buoys in the ocean and follow this in an anti-clockwise motion, very safe and I would 100% recommend

Staff were amazing and made our entire experience memorable. They even take pictures on jet skis which you can later print or burn it on a CD.

Very good experience, recommended, although it is true that the speed limiter on the jet skis takes away some adrenaline-filled moments, but otherwise 10/10, also give credit to the gentleman who took me on the boat in Gran Canaria (Jose if I remember correctly) and Roman, very good people and perfect service.

Moderately organized, a guide is missing, we were a bit lost regarding the route. I do not recommend...

These poorly educated pigs do not rinse lifejackets so you need a t-shirt, I had to come at 3:30 pm, I came at 3:15 pm, at 3:17 pm I was ready for 30 with my shirt. I asked when if I was passing well at 3:30 pm but no I had supposedly missed my turn, when I asked at 3:45 pm my time of passage I was told “not now should not forget the t-shirt it is me who decides here”, at 4 pm I asked to pass, we were fired unsparingly with insults. We left and were followed by an old alcoholic from their cabin who insulted us and our children with dirty French. They will invent an answer that I would have disrespected, I invite you to go see the other comments that talk about scamming as soon as customers are not Spanish (the only ones that leave positive reviews). I recommend his friendly competitor H2O with whom I was able to take a great jet ski ride with my children.

Una experiencia magnífica y muy segura, más si cabe teniendo en cuenta que llevé de pasajero a mi hijo de casi 10 años, disfrutamos una barbaridad dando saltos sobre las olas a toda velocidad y con la sensación de seguridad que daba estar rodeados de grandes profesionales. Muy amables y te explican todo lo necesario varias veces para que interiorices las instrucciones de seguridad.
