Great value for money and an excellent way to see more of the island . A full day . Comfortable coach which dropped us back to our hotel in Bahia Feliz. Reasonable lunch and a visit to the aloe Vera farm. The guide and the driver were excellent.

Engaging and knowledgeable guide. Excellent communication before the trip. Fantastic sites visited. Would highly recommend.
We first booked a jeep trip expecting that we would have forward facing seats, as on rough terrain you need to be able to support yourself by pushing back into the seat. We got inward facing seats in the back. My husband and I weren't happy with that. Then the driver said they were picking up another two people to sit in the back. These two were not skinny as my husband and I are not. They squeezed in with us. None of us were happy about it and I made the decision that we could not take 6 hours - some off-road in those cramped uncomfortable seats. So we asked to get taken back to our hotel and left the trip. We had only paid the deposit. We informed the staff at our reception that the trip was not suitable for older, big people. The owner contacted us and offered us another trip to use the deposit. We chose the catamaran one. It was very enjoyable and the staff were fun and helpful. Only downside was the bus driver was the most unhelpful person I've ever met in tourism. He came to arranged hotel to pick us up, we went to the bus and he decided we weren't the ones he's suppose to pick up. So we had to argue our way on. On the way back we got on the bus and he told us to get off - that it wasn't our bus. We had to get help from other staff at the catamaran so we could get on. There were some rude, loud Brits on bus when we got on in morning, sitting behind him and criticizing his driving - maybe he thought we were with them. We sat with them and chatted - he probably thought we were the parents of the rowdy couple! All up it was an excellent trip on the cat and we saw heaps of dolphins. We appreciate being offered another trip, when first one didn't suit our 60 year old bodies!
Brilliant tour guide Sebastian who never runs out of energy and keeps giving his all to us even after 6 hours! A real asset to Gran Canaria. Made sure every single person was ok and felt welcome every minute of the day.
Simon the tour guide was excellent as was our coach driver. Very informative especially around the history of the island and its flora and fauna. Nothing felt rushed we had lots of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the amazing views. Our lunch stop off was fabulous value for money at 13E for 3 courses including a drink !! I would not ordinarily be drawn to a tour however I cannot recommend this one enough as an overview of Gran Canarias varied landscapes.
We were really looking forward to the Cumbre tour because it included the Arucas rum distillery tour, it quickly became apparent this was not part of the tour. Why is the operator selling a tour highlighting the rum tasting and trip to a distillery. We did this tour on a Thursday, distillery is closed Saturday thru Monday, when is it included? I have messaged the tour operator separately regarding all of the above, I'm still waiting on a response.
Brilliant trip, thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Our tour guide spoke English, Spanish, and German fluently, and was a fountain of knowledge on the history and geography of Gran Canaria and its sister islands. The mountain roads are not for the faint-hearted, but our bus driver managed them expertly. I would highly recommend this tour. It's a great way to see the mountains and beautiful villages of Gran Canaria.
This was a fantastic day out. Lovely villages and stunning scenery in the mountains. Three course meal was super value fo 13 Euro. Our guide Simon spoke three languages and was superb in looking after the.group whilst informing us about the history, fauna and flora of the island. Lovely comfortable air conditioned coach with plenty of toilet stops. My elderly parents and teenage son also loved it. If you do anything on Gran Canaria : do this! Amazing!
Absolutely fantastic excursion- Simon the tour guide was so knowledgeable and very friendly, the scenery is stunning and so lovely to see parts of the island in contrast - I would however say that some of the stops are very short indeed and a little rushed, also was advertised that we would visit a rum distillery but we visited an Aloe Vera plantation instead, other than that well worth doing - the coach ride itself on narrow winding lanes up a mountain certainly makes for an adventure- not for the faint hearted
Driver was excellent, tour guide knowledgeable but not worth the trip as only went for few places, the 3 Forse meal was very cheap though. Not recommend to a family trip as my 13 year old daughter got bored. Spent most of the time in the bus and not in the places you wanted to be.
Very well organised tour, covered a substantial area of the island, stopped at a few lovely towns and villages that I would like to return to on my next trip
Contact the operator before the day as we ended up waiting a while for the coach, but apart from that it was a thoroughly enjoyable day. The coach driver was amazing on the narrow roads and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. A whole day and was very good value for money.
The tour was perfect to discover the island with its beautiful nature, mountains, small villages, climate zones (bring a jacket) and beautiful palm tree valley. The bus driver was professional through the serpentines and the guide gave lots of facts and figures in 3 different languages (Spanish, English & German). It’s perfect for a full day trip and even the lunch restaurant was ok for 13€. Yes, it takes time to pick up all the people but it’s really worth it cause it will show the beauty of the island besides Yumbo center.
Several aspects of the tour did not match the description on Viator website. In addition the lunchtime and afternoon stops were at establishments several miles outside the towns indicated, with no paths or easy other means of getting to them in the time allocated. Disapointed with the overall offering.
The views were amazing. Much more to the Island than I expected. The tour was on a large modern bus. The driver Jose was very skilled in negotiating the narrow mountain roads. The guide gave commentary in 3 languages, Spanish , German and English. My wife speaks all 3 languages and said the information was inconsistent and some detail was left out. The optional 3 course lunch was good value.
It was nice seeing the interior of the island, our guide was very helpful, it was amazing to see the difference of climate in just a few kilometers
The while trip was very well organised, lots of interesting information and AMAZING VIEWS! Food at the lunch stop was great.
This is a full day tour (from 9:30am to ~ 5:30). It is a different way to explore the beauty and diversity of Gran Canaria. We did it on Saturday and were informed in advance that there is not going to be a visit to the distillery which we weren’t much interested in. We visited beautiful villages along the road and travelled through mountainous roads with breathtaking scenery. The tour guide was very nice and informative. The lunch was great and at a reasonable price; €12.5 for all you can eat and drink buffet with a good variety of options and dishes. There were frequent enough stops. We did not feel we are pushed to buy anything and most of the stops actually did not have shops. We did the tour with two kids (5 years and 2 years) and we all very much enjoyed it.
Gran Canaria has spectacular views, but there are much cheaper ways to see them in half the time. We visited a couple of small towns outside Las Palmas which were lovey but pretty forgettable. Then we arrived at the restaurant. €12.50 all you can food and drink. It was ok, just more of the same of the all inclusive food you get in most hotels. We saw some beautiful mountain ranges and then stopped at a shack on top of a mountain and the guide really pushed people to buy locally produced cheese and drink. The run distillery was closed because it was a Saturday. Not sure why you would advertise a trip there when you know it’s closed that day. We weren’t told this before we got on the coach. Also the coach tried to pick us up 20 minutes early, and we then got moaned at when they went directly to our hotel to pick us up, only to come back to find us at our pick up point down the street at exactly the right time we were told to be there on our booking. Overall, we felt that this trip wasn’t value for money. We booked it through a gay travel app and expected it to be more gay friendly. The tour guide was having to talk in four languages, so it was quite impressive, but it was hard to listen to for hours on end. Overall we spent about €100 on this trip and we really wished we’d gone on a Jeep safari instead. If dated jokes about women doing laundry is your cup of tea, book this tour. If you’re living in 2019, avoid this archaic tour and spend your money elsewhere.
Deeply disappointed: I wanted to see the Noque Rublo and I didn't even get off the bus Review: I am writing this review with much regret. I booked an excursion with this agency through my hotel in Playa del Inglés, but the organization and time management turned out to be a huge disappointment. Even before leaving, there was a lot of confusion: the information flyers were overlapping, with the title of one itinerary and the description of another. Among other things, on the brochure for the tour we chose, the information was provided in German and Spanish, so we expected the guide to speak these languages. Instead, during the trip, the guide spoke only in German and English, without saying a single word in Spanish. To be certain about the itinerary, I had wanted to speak by phone directly with the owner/manager of the agency, who had personally reassured me that we would visit Roque Nublo (the main reason for my trip to Gran Canaria) with a one-hour stop. Unfortunately, things went differently: 1. Disorganization at the pickup points: On the voucher, the pickup indication was imprecise and did not clarify which was the correct entrance, making us risk missing the bus. The guide then pointed out our delay, blaming the hotel entirely. I find this attitude unfair: the hotel sells on behalf of the agency, so internal communication problems should never weigh on the customer who has paid in full. 2. No stop at Roque Nublo: Despite the manager's verbal assurances, we didn't even get off the bus at Roque Nublo. Seeing the island's symbol only from the window was truly sad. Nor were we consoled by seeing another famous mountain, because the goal was precisely another one. 3. Questionable time management: On the contrary, a great deal of time was dedicated to other stops: well over half an hour stopped at an aloe vera plantation and a good hour waiting for those who had chosen the optional lunch. In this way, you end up feeling almost forced to have lunch with the group just to avoid waiting around doing nothing, seeing precious time taken away from the natural beauty. In conclusion, if you want to be really sure of seeing the attractions that matter to you and receiving clear information, think carefully. I cannot consider myself satisfied and I give two stars only for the undeniable beauty of the landscape.
Beautiful tour across the island with many sights and visit to the capital Las Palmas and good friendly guide.
Bonita experiencia. Recomendable para todo el publico. Es mejor ir en bus que en coche particular por las carreteras que hay.
It was a last minute activity! They called me about the activity and I was allowed to come along without any problems! I was very happy that I could come along. It was definitely recommended! Simon has told you everything you need to know about this island! The view was certainly beautiful and there was a big difference between South and North. Lunch for 13 euros was definitely recommended! Thank you !
If you like long bus rides, it's a good choice. I would have preferred to lie on the beach but overall it was very nice, the view was unforgettable and the aloe vera plantation. The food is debatable. I would have preferred to stay somewhere else for longer and find something to eat myself.
Well organized trip. Despite being defective on the bus, a replacement bus was there within 15 minutes. Lots of information during the trips. Lunch also went, although mass handling but still edible and for 13 € incl. drink and endless water, very acceptable. Guide was unfortunately unlucky that he always had to explain everything in 4 languages, but still worked. Therefore, you can easily recommend the trip to anyone who wants to experience the island in quick transit.
Pick up as indicated, good trip to see the island interior. Lots of impressive pictures. Plenty of explanations in three languages. Tom was a nice and good tour guide. The three-course menu for 13 euros including drink was also OK and well organized.
We were on Gran Canaria for the first time and this trip up the mountains, showed very clearly the great differences in the climate in the north, middle and south island Simon, our guide, was interesting to listen to and he had a lot of knowledge about the island. We recommend this trip
Dies sollten Sie in Ihrem Programm ändern. Wir waren aber mit dem Ersatzprogramm ebenfalls zufrieden!!
A great tour across the island with lots of sights country and people. If you want to know more about land, you should do this tour.
Las vistas en el recorrido del bus y la iglesia de Aruca y la parada de Firgas. La puntualidad y pericia del conductor.
Gran Canaria is much more than sun and beach, an excursion that will make you see beyond. Thank Mark the driver and Carmel the guide.
